After you buy it, then get into the “Red line” by the boat dock. The whole ordeal took 20 minutes and we were on the boat. It was Saturday night so I was surprised it didn’t take longer. In August, the perfect time to go is 7:15pm when it’s not too dark but the lights are all on. Overall, too expensive, too hectic and unorganized but good for a first time tourist.

The river cruise was great. We went at nighttime and took the cruise from Clarke Quay. The ticket process was easy and we didn't have to wait long at all. The cruise was informative and super relaxing after a hot day. We also got treated to fireworks during the cruise due to Chinese New Year. Would definitely recommend taking the cruise at night. The river is gorgeous all lit up. The boats for the cruise are also all electric which is cool.

Hubby and I spontaneously decided on the same day, to try the Singapore River Cruise for the first time. We were just used to walking along the riverside at Clarke Quay and the weather was also nice so we thought to give it a go. We managed to book the tickets via a travel app and got our confirmation in just a few seconds. Upon redemption at the counter, the crew will ask you for the QR code from your online booking and they will immediately give you your tickets. That time we redeemed our tickets around 4:20pm and the next trip will be around 4:45pm which was not a long wait and there was no queue as well. The boat has safety precautions, the boat staffs were very nice and did a mini safety brief. The ride was smooth, the weather was not that humid, and we enjoyed listening to the recorded audio guide as you cruise through the river's history. Overall, it was a great yet relaxing experience and highly recommended. The cruise took around 40mins. in total and back to the boat quay.

Been there a few times, usually with people visiting Singapore, this tour is good as an initiation tour of Singapore. 1. Buy the tickets online. In all my visits never found tickets on the high demand slots in the ticket office, from 6-8 is the high demand times. 2. The roofed area of the boat gives you view of only one side but the tv display helps follow the commentary easily. Not every stop is working and it’s ain’t mentioned where to get the tickets or the cruise starts so we had to google it, thankfully it was a short walking distance near Hooters just across the Clarke quay central mall . We went around 5 PM which we felt was the perfect time to see the city in a bit of daylight as well as dusk, when the city started to light up. Of course, the view and seating outside are better, but we still saw everything up close and got great pictures from the inside too. This was the most amazing and memorable part of our Singapore trip...the river cruise. It start at the Clark Quay and takes you all the way to the Merlion, the Marina Bay and back. Great if you are cruising during evening on weekends you get to see Singapore from the River side. You will witness spectacular Lazer light show, fountain and music on marine Bay . May not be worth the day and regular day cruising

Called them twice wanted to check if can board at Esplanade for the river cruise. Nobody listen. Proceeded to Esplanade and found their kiosks closed. Went to Clark Quay and boarded. No notifications at their website. Bad!!!

Amazing 40mins night cruise that brings one down Singapore river where the icons are, shining with lights in clear night skies. On a good day, the breeze is good through the ride and brings add on delight.

Great views of the city and river, cruise was well narrated on Singapore’s history. Cruise departed on time, boat was clean and overall the cruise took about 30-minutes. It costs $20 per adult and you can redeem with Singapore Rediscover Vouchers. Understand the cruise used to make stops as Boat Quay, Robertson Quay and Clark Quay and the journey would take 40–minutes but under current pandemic mode, the cruise departs and ends at Clark Quay only.

Relaxing river cruise and getting to know some history of Singapore

So much information on their site has not been updated even thou we are deep into this new 5pax phase. First of all we went to the wrong kiosk because Google brought us there, it was only because of a small sign that we then went to the right one we wanted to hop off at MBS but were told we could no longer do that. Customer service was horrible, felt more like they were just pushing on the blame to us.

Went on the cruise on 15 Jan and it was enjoyable. Attempted in Dec 2020 but due to bad weather, it was postponed to Jan 2022. The weather was good yesterday and the uncle who was navigating the bumboat was friendly and helpful. He even offered to take photos for us and provided good advice. Thanks for the nice ride!

Enjoyable river cruise. Different experience in day n night time.. Kids will enjoy it for sure. Its simulated like London, Paris river cruise but has its uniqueness too.

Singapore River Cruise is an amazing water cruise experience for anyone. The Bumboats are properly balanced on the river (with less/no turbulence) during the cruise. The Short Cruise Experience Ticket then goes for SGD18. The Short Cruise Experience starts at Clarke Quay, makes a loop near the Esplanade at Marina Bay and then drops off visitors by the Merlion Park Jetty.

A great little cruise showing you the bay as well as attractions alongside the water, including Marina Bay Sands, the Merlion, all the quays along the shore as well as their history. There was also an informative tour for all the bridges we passed under. A great but short 45 minute ride on a surprisingly comfortable electric boat.

It's a cruise of 40 min for 25 dollars. Nice views from the boat of Clark Quay, Marina Bay and more. A tape runs in English and explains the different monuments with a little humour.

Very relaxing 40 minutes cruising the river taking in the environment and atmosphere while looking at the buildings, including the merlion from a different angle. Note, there is no commentary as such, but the crew did share some details and offered to take photos - the curse of our era. Don't forget to exchange your online vouchers for actual paper tickets before boarding. otherwise, the wife will be giving you a hard time.

Solid experience, especially for tourists, but even for Singaporeans like me. Good for kids. Nice vessel, good commentary, nice views and historical sights. Try to sit at back of craft which is roofless.

Great way to see Singapore river and Marina Bay Sands, love the silence of the electrical propelled boats. Crew is super friendly and takes pictures of everyone and let the kids stear the boat as well. Not my first Singapore river cruise, nor my last one either.

Five stars! I booked this bumboat cruise through Klook for my family, we were stunned at the “bang for your buck” experience (approx $24/pp, 40 minute). The views on the river cruise were spectacular. I’d recommend doing the 7pm cruise as it’s just becoming dusk. We had a short (approximately 8 minute) wait to redeem our tickets, and another short wait to board the boat. Hot tip: ask the tour guide to open your window.

River scene as well as the western part of Vietnam. The only difference is that both sides of the river are big, beautiful, and clean buildings...

We went for cruise around 7:30 pm. We were able to get mesmerizing view of Singapore. It also includes English audio guide which informs about the important buildings of Singapore (historically and presently). There are a lot of dine in options available including few Indian ones.

boat moves steadily, no rush. very calm, no loud noise. very helpful 'tourist guide' speaker can help recognise iconic buildings/bridge. boat is very stable, free to move around taking pictures.
