If you are living in Singapore then you should definitely visit this National Museum one day because this shows you the history of Singapore by various exhibitions, historic objects and many audio clippings. The Museum shows you the beginning of this land by portraits and clips too If you are an art lover you should not miss this place in Level 1 (history) cause you will love it. In Level 2 its a forest journey and you will enjoy if you're with your family or friends Your kids will love the 3D experience in Level2. A Basement Level is also opened now which is about Polaroid. If you are a science lover you will love it. Altogether it was a good experience.

An interesting Art Museum showing rare masterpieces of Claude Monet and other Impressionists. I expected less from this museum, but was impressed to see loaned masterpieces from European galleries, like d'Orsay. At time of our visit (March 2018) there was a special exhibition, showing masterpieces from Monet, Renoir, Juan Luna and others. The building itself is a spectacular, Neoclassical in style, but too large for the pieces of art i offers. An hour is enough to take at look at the most prominent pictures.

Safe Entry is an artwork by Heman Chong. It is based on a QR code repeated and amplified over a very long wall.

This is such a graceful museum that has been tastefully restored to house a wonderful collection of general and cultural. This building was once the Singapore seat of rule and law and its historic past can be imagined on the lawns at the front. If you like a gallery...you'll love a visit here. I spent a day wandering through both buildings and had a very restful time soaking up the art. Take a break with tea and tea and finish off with a cocktails in the upper bar and breathe in the view before you.

Home of contemporary SEA art in Singapore. The current exhibit features artists who are participating in the SG Bienniale and the theme is Atlas of Mirrors - from where you are how do you view the world and yourself.

Fantastic museum. I still remember a small exhibition on such a mundane thing as Hainanese Chicken Rice: it gave an incredibly interesting reflection on the cultural and ethnic mix of Singapore.

Currently it is closed until around the end of 2018. There is another space being used nearby with a rotation of temporary exhibitions. When I visited it was set up for children and families but actually the art was suitable for people of all ages.

(Translated by Google) A very interesting museum, although the presented exposition is very specific, but art lovers will be interested. Many different installations, performances are often arranged. The exhibits are made of the most unexpected materials, some of them are mechanized. It is not necessary to take a guide, modernArt assumes an individualized perception. There are halls in which you can lie down to contemplate what is presented. Therefore, there will be a place to rest. You can drink coffee and have a snack in the cafe at the museum. The museum is optional for a must visit. But, if you have free time, then spend it on art. There are shops at home.

Very informative and interesting museum. My wife and I expected to be there for less than an hour having looked at the floor plan, which looked small. We were surprised we stayed for over 2 hours. Most of the taxidermy were on the lower side, sometimes bordering humorous. Descriptions and displays were great and easy to understand. If you're into biodiversity, then I'd definitely recommend visiting this place. I had the opportunity to visit during the parasite exhibition and was pretty grossed in a good way. Kudos!

Most wonderful museum I've ever been to! The Singapore Biennale was taking place and regrouped artists from all over Asia. There were so many things to see and feel. The installations were amazing, challenging the way you thought. It was a bit easy to get lost here but I always found my way back.

(Translated by Google) Excellent museum of modern art, I did not understand the mechanism well, but there are some free days in the month. It is almost a maze inside the museum with several rooms between local and international artists. A little expensive, but art is always worth it.

One of the prominent museums in Asia. The museum building itself a elegant show piece. Unfailingly the art works exhibited here are very diverse. I really love way of their presentation. Really cool place to get inspired.

As other reviews have mentioned, it is small. Although staff said there were three galleries, it was essentially two galleries and one children's area. Nonetheless, exhibits were pretty interesting and had alot of depth to them! Funny how it became more of a history museum than a fine art museum :) Tackled issues pertinent to our local context. The coffee shop and bookstore made up for the small size, as well as the NAFA exhibition next door. Overall is great for kids and if you are in the area :)

Neat museum, and it used to be a school building. The best feat of it is that it’s free. Gallery is okay, nothing special. If you’re a tourist you can easily skip this one.
