Fully agree with one of the recent reviewer - it is very disappointing. Place looks makeshift like a warehouse. Most of the props are small and its aspect ratio are not able to fit into the camera frame. Furthermore, not much to see and it took us 15 mins to finish all. My kids went to the previous one which had more to offer. We actually went to the old site not knowing that it has moved to the current place. The direction signboards around Resort World are also not updated. They could have done a better job.

The museum is not that big. We have to download the app 1st so that we can immerse ourselves in the adventure that were on display. It's more fun for the youngsters and it's interactive action with each display/scene. The ticket is a bit expensive but it's enough to go just once to see what it really is. A trick of the eye! It's not that crowded when we were there. Ample parking place.

Utter disappointment. I have been to original trickeye museum in RWS Sentosa which used to be fabulous with wide variety of themes. The new one at Southside is super small, cannot spend more than 40 mins, very less options compared to the original one. But they are still charging 40$, not worth it at all. Only three rooms with 3,4 AR scenes. Super disappointed. To add to the misery, the app is super slow, doesn't capture videos properly, takes a while to load. Wouldn't visit again. I have added the pictures, that's the whole place.

Avoid. All the photos you see online is the old museum. Just read all one star reviews, they are all recent. I didn't do it, I hope this helps you save money. They moved out of RWS and now only have 4 smallish rooms. The name is also different now. In and out in 15 mins if you don’t take photos, 30 if you do. Parking is $5 if you stay 40 mins. This museum spoils the reputation of Sentosa and the Korean version. Some of the images printed are made up of images of different resolution. Quite amateur. Are these exhibits here? 1. the guy skydiving - nope 2. circus elephant nose - nope 3. purple chair illusion - nope 4. horse racing - nope 5. strangling neck on table - nope 6. serpent eating you on the ceiling - nope 7. giant snake out of water eating you - nope 8. shaolin temple - nope 9. ballerina - nope 10. dinosaur with you in jail - nope 11. 2 person in room, 1 is a giant - nope 12. holding a feather on a table with skulls - nope So what's left? Just go to Google Reviews and see the photos by the Owner. That is probably all.

Decent but not fantastic. There's 4 rooms, with 2 room with AR and 2 rooms normal. AR rooms you need to download an App and there will be special effects on the camera where you can't skr video or photo. I am not impressed by the museum and it is rather pricey to enter and carpark charges $5 dollars per hour. It is a hit or miss, it won't be a place I will recommend as the AR special effects are just meh, nothing to shout about.

Find that the venue is a tad small with little exhibits. Not really worth the time. The only good thing might be it's not crowded and thus do not need to wait for your turn to take photo.

Exhibits you see on old pictures simply not there. They moved and don't have pretty much anything worth interest. Disappointing and definitely overpriced. 3 out of 4 halls only show AR videos you can access via app, but app doesn't work well so you can not even get your videos properly. I don't recommend.

One of the must visit places in Singapore. Kids and even adults will enjoy this place. The app they have made will add spice and colour to your photos. Everyone will enjoy this place at sentosa, Singapore.

Trickeye Singapore provided an average experience marred by glitches in their app-dependent interactive features. The staff's helpfulness was a bright spot, offering assistance and a friendly atmosphere. However, the current state of the attraction doesn't seem to justify its cost. Substantial improvements, particularly in the app functionality, are essential for Trickeye Singapore to fulfill its potential and provide a worthwhile experience for visitors. Until then, it falls short of delivering a value-for-money adventure.

Museum is fun for kids. Colourful backgrounds and cute animations when you use it with the AR app. However app is a little unstable thus have to be a little bit patient when using it. Place is not too big. Unless you are a big fan of trick eyes, else will complete within half an hour.

Cool illusions, plenty of setups and couple that with AR experience and it all comes to life. Wonderful experience for the whole family. We shot a lot of pics and fun filled videos with augmented reality experience. Though the App is bit buggy and crashed many times but still it didn’t dampen our spirits to enjoy the museum and its various showcases.

Worst experience ever. Nothing to trick your eye, only your wallet. Scenes are ugly, not impressive, looks very unrealistic on photos. VR function is useless, doesn’t look like 3D at all. Even my 4 years old son was not excited because it all looked fake.

The new Trickeye museum don’t have many of the old items. New digital images are introduced, but was not so worth spending time and money. If you have leisure time and if you’re around that place then can visit. Else skip it.

Trick Eye museum in Sentosa Islands of Singapore is a 3D interactive virtual reality space. It’s our first experience for such art work, downloaded the mobile app to bring the art work alive. Costed around $30 per head and again there is a large crowd so you will face little challenge to take pictures peacefully. However it’s worth money site to visit.

This is moved to a temporary place and is missing most of the fun attractions. We found out after coming out and questioning. We were quite disappointed. The real one is under renovation. I wish they would have told us before we went in. The current attractions are nice and we did have a good time but the whole experience is quite short considering the price you pay. Recommend not visiting until the new one is open.

I went expecting the photos I saw online, it looks completely different. I read another review that they changed locations recently. I suspect a lot of the photos are pre-move. The new place is not worth the price ($32pp), it was the only activity on Sentosa where I felt ripped off. We were in and out within 10 minutes and none of the 'illusions' were as good as the photos I saw online. Just looks like a large shed with some walls stuck up with some paintings on them. None of the photos were worth sharing with friends/family. In its current state, maybe worth about $5pp. The Augmented Reality (AR) isn't worth it, you can download similar AR apps on google play/apple store and do it for free at home (which is what I recommend doing instead of visiting Trickeye @ Southside - atleast until they go back to what they used to be).

Erm for the price legit not worth it. Super underwhelming my partner and I was yawning the whole way. No seats as well be prepared to stand the whole way. Photo spots were underwhelming, no more illusions. All was just AR from phone. Could have used the internet to do it at this rate. Staff was super nice though so for service I’m giving it a star, but for the attraction, no. It’s super isolated as well no longer at the RWS station to please plan in advance your travel route as my partner and I got a shock on the change of location.

It was a pretty fun experience! Even with Covid it wasn't too restrictive and the crowd control made for easier pictures. It's definitely a one-time visit type of thing. Worth going at least once! The AR app was so so, nothing super impressive, drains the battery terribly and the quality of videos and images are greatly reduced.

It is still open, but do remember to book a slot online first. Good to go on weekdays, now not crowded. Was there on Thursday afternoon, and we were almost the only ones there. Good to go if you haven't been there! Now it has this AR app that you can download from Google or Apple Store, let's you have a different and animated view of the displays! Quite interesting for the kids; there was one I showed them with an elephant and they hurriedly looked around for it... Kids are so easy to con... 😂 Don't forget to visit the new Lego store at RWS! Super cool diorama and a wall of Lego minifigures! 😍

Although many displays for photo-taking opportunities, some were too close, getting into each other's photos. Needs a second person to shoot from a recommended point (some of which were missing). Nothing that can be taken as a selfie if you are a single visitor as there is no guide or assistant to help you. The air-conditioning was not fully switched on, making some areas stuffy. For better effects, need to download a trick museum app.

This is for the lack of NOTICE online (at least put in a link and a qr code when you want people to chope a space. I did my research about the place because I bought a ticket and have been trying to see if it needs booking and I couldn't find any link when I Google search the location almost 5 times when I just bought the ticket. Apparently You Must BOOK a slot with the link given on the website. The thing is they didn't emphasis the link and I didn't read properly and their website did not state that you need a booking of timing. So I didn't get to go in even that day as I thought that by putting in the date on my ticket means chapping a space for the day and on top of that it is good Friday and apparently fully reserved till Sunday. I put in 1 more star for the negligence on my part. Edit : I managed to book a timeslot within the week ( according to the website I booked by date only gave me a week to spend it) There is free WiFi and an app you have to download to use it for this museum. The app is limited as I cannot record video and adjust the camera from wide angle to normal so I used screen shot to record the parts. The place provide example shots which I liked and Thank God I booked the ticket for only myself. The time is unlimited but no toilet time and no food and drinks which I understand what's up. Mostly free and easy inside not much disturbance. I manage to set up my camera using free time between each group of families to take my shots but sometimes people will walk into my frame because they don't see my camera or they didn't see a photographer there. Some place is squeezy in a sense that the camera man might be in another person's shot. There is no specific queue or space between users so some might crowd between one room while other rooms might be empty. All in all I think spending 2 hours is enough for me to go through every room almost every scene. I added stars and took one out for the previous feedback.

It was an exciting and aesthetic place to go to Trick Eye Museum!! But, the props are worn out and old. The AR apps if fun and enjoyable!! Unfortunately, it does not allow us to resize the AR revolution, and this museum does not have toilets, and it does not allow people to re-enter the museum when coming back from the toilets. Overall, it was a good and enjoyable place to spend time with my family!!

I could have given a 4 star but because I was approached so many times by others "Hi can u help me take pictures. Hi can help me". It gets very annoying. As much as I do not want to be selfish but I'm here to enjoy with my kids and family. I would strongly suggest that your staff do some walking around and see if they could offer help to those who needs help in group photos. (heck you can even monetize in this section for assisting to take photos, coz i would! And maybe that money goes to charity or something) so ya as much as I wanted to enjoy it for the sake of my kids, I got annoyed for being approached. I really do not understand why one would go to trick eye museum alone?! You jolly well know its a photo taking /selfie place and u come alone. Seriously. But anw, the app was cool, whole place was interesting. Its a fun place. Staff were friendly. ☺️

Been “tricked”? But you have to try their augmented reality to take their videos than it was more interesting. In the end spent about 1hr+ a little there. My son love the dragon exhibit the best. Haven’t been here a while and haven’t been here since they moved. The space is larger but seems less exhibits. All the exhibits are new (according to the staff it’s feedback). if just take photos <30mins done. Thankfully I bought the tix thru Pelago so it was cheaper than original price with 25% off. Was a bit disappointed the old favorites (of mine) were no longer there though.

The place is ok. Once you enter, the ticketing place is right in front. The place is actually different hall sections with paintings on the wall that you can take photos in front of. The paintings trick the eye by making it seems like you were in a scene (such as in a hot air balloon). Quite a good place for photo-taking. Does not take long as quite a small venue. No seats for people who are tired (only saw 1 in a corner).

I am huge fan of Trick Eye Museum and I've been to their outlets in Seoul, Hong Kong (sadly not any more), Singapore and even one in Mexico city. The optical illusion is quite fun and quirky and the experience is totally different depending on who you go with. Please don't go Trick Eye with your first or second date, go with someone you are close enough who you wouldn't feel shy at all to do all funny poses.

There are currently(18 July 2020) no on-site tickets sale. Tickets are to be purchase online. There is also an app to be downloaded so that there will be enhanced AR visuals in your video or photos. There are several sections in this petite museum. Each section have around 4 to 5 photo areas with recommended photographer positioning point. It fun and enjoyable thou the price is on the high side. As we are still in the Convid 19 situation, there are literally no other customers beside ourselves and best part is that you get to unmask yourselves to take photos.

Popped by on a weekday afternoon and it was pretty filled. Would recommend making a reservation online before visiting as it is recommended during covid times. Photo exhibitions were a little old and don’t think they have updated their exhibitions in a while. Would still recommend for the experience for first timers.

Due to COVID-19 Safety Measures, limited number of pax is allowed into the premises. Need to book a slot prior to visiting the attraction. Good thing that there are lesser people allowed into the premises nowadays. Its easier to take photos in the attraction. The place is not very big. If one doesnt take lotsa photo, probably will be done in 30 mins.

Pales in comparison to the one in Jeju, Korea. The art work needs AR app to make it passable. The place is small and has limited art work. Can you imagine that It feels crowded with crowd control i.e. booking of time slot

Pretty enjoyable for ppl who likes taking photos, came on a weekday and using SingapoRediscover vouchers to purchase the tickets through klook which is already discounted on top of the SRV, it's quite worth it as there's not much crowd and some areas need to spend a bit of time to take the funny photos, not so good if there's a large crowd. The trickeye app need to be download to take AR photos but the resolution is not so good. So still need to take others photos without the app. No toilet and no rest point inside the museum means total journey about 1-2 hr. Overall still an ok trip but if spending at the original entrance price then not worth it.

It was not love at first sight but... the more I explored, the better the feeling got and I eventually fell head over heels. I am not describing my relationship with a person but a lovely place - Trick Eye Museum. When I first stepped into the museum, I started to think I have allocated too much time for this place of interest. However, I was wrong. I allocated 1h 30 min for this venture and remaining time for Segway. In the end, I had to give Segway a miss. There is a total of 6 zones in the museum. In each zone, there are an average of 4 displays for visitors to take pic with. I took at whooping 203 photos at the end of the visit. Trick Eye museum unleashed the acting talent in me. I did not know that I had it in me. Visit the museum and you will know what I mean. Happy posing and acting! The AR app provided by the museum added surpises to the already fun photos. Try out the app and you will be in for surprises. Most importantly, take video in addition to photographs. The museum is very thoughtful. Tap on the free WiFi to download the app. Do not forget to bring a power bank as your phone can run low on the juice. 😆 Just a word of caution, wear casual (t-shirt and shorts/pants). Avoid wearing skirts as you will be required to ride on elephants or unicorn and sit on a magic carpet or floating chair. 😉 Finally, the air-con seems to be in energy saving mode coz there weren't many visitors. Some zones were quite warm. After all the standing, squatting, climbing and crawling, your body temperature will rise so... forget about your 😎 leather jackets or 🤠 hats or classy shawl. This is a must-go place on Sentosa! The jumping, climbing, squatting, posing and acting were fun!

Funny and cute, especially because it was just the 3 of us in the whole exhibition! But it's pricey (25$) if you consider it's just some cut out cardboards which hasn't been changed for a while and all you do is take some photos. The App that you use to get an AR experience is quite cool, but it's drains the battery a lot and heats up the phone so we had to close it every once in a while. Worth it on a rainy day or if you'd seen it all in Singapore, otherwise do other attractions first!

Suggest that ladies wear fitted top so you'll blend in well with scenes. Don't know if it's the dust or there's mosquitoes, my legs were very itchy when I was moving around at the entrance. The museum may wish to set up selfie stands/holders so that group pictures maybe be taken if there's only 2 pax (ala Heightened Alert) allowed per group per entry.

Fairly enjoyable time spent over at trickeye museum, I spent about 1.5 to 2 hours. There are more than 30 backdrops for you take to photos and videos (with special effects). However, as others have mentioned, the place is too cramped. Many times you end up bumping into other people photos or having others bumping into your photos.. otherwise, rating could be higher..

  • 2/5 Adrien C. 2 years ago on Google
Generally poorly designed, not as good as other 3d museums (such as Art in Paradise). Displays are too close to each other, and often too small, so its hard to frame pictures. The AR with the app is boring. Spend 30 min with kids, otherwise avoid.

Can't rate this effectively but just want to highlight that you need to make sure to book a slot for entry as they only admit a limited number of customers per day. Even with a valid ticket, you can't walk in without prior bookings. We learnt the hard way. Made our way there and realised that we didn't book in advance and was turned away. Our bad .. 🤷🏻‍♂️ N/t I would like to reply to the management's comments. Yes, I could not rate the facility and exhibits effectively and I will take the comment back. However, I want to rate the experience I've had at the entrance. I admit to the oversight for not reading the clause for booking of time slot to visit, but what you highlighted confidently was not very true for us. We took leave that day and we did ask if the person manning could check for us if the place is full. He showed us his iPad and told us, see it is fully booked. Our friend who came by later on the same day had the same problem, but she and her family were allowed in because she said the person manning actually took the trouble to check for her and admitted them thereafter. I guess some ppl may attest to it but not all... I changed the rating slightly for my oversight but could not bring myself further.

6 zones total and each zone has about 3 to 4 backgrounds to take pictures. The problem is it can get quite crowded and people standing in your way whilst you are trying to get the picture perfect moment. Not worth going unless you have free tickets. Definitely will not go there again :p

  • 3/5 Loh J. 3 years ago on Google
Location was not easily acessible, nor were the directions clear. Couldnt see it on sign boards although it was written on the directory and map. Nearest toilet really was quite far and not child friendly. The tap was too far in and just not accessbile for children. Pictures were entertaining and interesting, although fewer than i had anticipated. A tad crowded despite bookings required beforehand, making picture-taking sometimes a chore as we would inevitably bump into people or have people step within frames. Seems over-hyped. Otherwise a nice visit for teens and older, but not a must-go stop to be honest.

A place that get your eyes tricked. If you’re around there, it’s quite a good idea to go in to have a look, fun place.

  • 2/5 Bryan 2 years ago on Google
We visited the new location, Southside, and it was very sparse. We were finished with the four rooms in about twenty minutes. Which would've been fine if we hadn't paid $30 a person to get in. The illusions are okay, but this was really one of the most disappointing things we've ever done in SG. The pictures on Google seem to be for the old location. That looked a lot more fun. As of January 2022, I'd say don't bother visiting this place unless they slash the price.

  • 1/5 Sim Guo H. 2 years ago on Google
Too bad Google doesn't allow 0 stars. A terrible place that's not even worth 10% the entrance fee. Nothing trick eye about it, three sections in total. First was a nice garden with only a tea cup and swing, second was an area which requires you to download an app needed all sorts of unnecessary phone permissions like payment details and information but still does not work well. Third section is like a storage room housing all the old exhibits placed at random location. If I must say something from this place that tricked me, it will definitely be the entrance ticket.

  • 3/5 Angela T. 1 year ago on Google
It was much smaller than the previous one they had at rws. Not complaining but the ticket price is not exactly cheap. The video part in the museum App was a bit laggy and not exactly very good quality after u have taken it. Can park at south key but very expensive. Some free lots near the place but have to walk a bit.

  • 5/5 Kenneth C. 1 year ago on Google
Not so much for SOLO TRAVELERS. it was fun tbh. The staff were kind enough to offer to be your camera person as sections 2 and 3 are pretty much difficult to execute just by having a tripod. Overall, place was great. Kind and considerate staff. Place was a bit hidden, but can be googled. For a separate attraction by itself, feels lacking, but it itself as an activity museum, it really takes a lot of time. Give or take 1hr to 2 hrs depending on the speed of taking pictures/video.

  • 4/5 sumit l. 1 year ago on Google
How to get there? In entire Sentosa Island you have free Buses and Trams. So dont worry about reaching to the attraction. There are no restaurants nearby. You will have to walk to Siloso Beach point whereby restaurants are expensive. About the attraction It is basically an artist and innovative way of tricking your mind into believing something. So there are two options to click pictures: 1. You install the app recommended and take pictures through the app which will jave the visual effects. (However you will have to give all sort of permissions to the app to acces your memory, access to on screen display content.) We were not able to figure out how to take videos out of the app, so we only took pictures. 2. You take a normal picture at the correct and you depict something else than the usual. enjoy the show. All the recommended poses for each of the portrait and the correct position from where the picture should be taken are marked. So if you dont have a creative mind, dont worry. Average time required for a couple would be 1-1.5 hours and not more than that. So plan accordingly. I would definitely recommend this. It is a good place to hangout and click pictures. Definitely very instaworthy attraction. We did not have high hopes for this when we actually entered and we thought it is for children. But that is a misconception. We enjoyed it a lot as adults. Note: It is not that all solo pictures have to be taken. You can take it in selfie mode and it will be still effective. Tickets Purchased the tickets from klook. There was not wait for getting in as it was not crowded. Would definitely recommend this to everyone visiting Sentosa Island.

Totally not worth it. We tried and took a few pictures at first but the displays were poorly done and it was difficult to get realistic looking pictures because of the signs placed on the backgrounds. Overall it was very lame and after the first 2 rooms we just walked out.

  • 4/5 Galdi W. 9 months ago on Google
Should limit how many people to get inside cause the room kinda hectic if you are unlucky if there are several group. And there are some bad animations (AR) like short loop or the background painting not hidden when the animation start. The app bugged in one of my phone, it doesn't save the picture or AR not playing well. There are some damage on the paintings too. Luckily there are quite a lot (6 rooms with 4 to 7 spots) so it's worth the money

  • 1/5 Jason T. 5 months ago on Google • 2 reviews
We went down not knowing that they have moved from their RWS site, it's located so far out in the most west of Sentosa island next to Fort Siloso. Definitely need to allocate more travel time and not the most accessible site. In addition, it would be better to provide a written notice or signage at the old place notifying the move and the new location. There are only 4 zones where the 1st and 3rd zone are the two smaller spaces. The 1st and last space has many physical objects to take photos with and on the other hand, the 2nd and 3rd spaces are all painting/image with Augmented Reality (AR) that's only visible with a phone app that keeps crashing all the time + drains your battery. It's missing the trippy appeal of a trick eye museum and the visitor needs to imaginatively think what they should pose with the AR animation. By the 3rd room, we're very tired and exhausted of trying to act around and standing but there's no seat anywhere in the room and there're no toilets within the exhibition area, the only toilets are the one at the back of the building which we found quite unsettling. The overall experience was pretty underwhelming and it feels like the less popular attraction in Sentosa given how the footfall is very low.
