Small but interesting museum to visit! The art works are quite unique and it’s worth it to take a short visit here!

free entry. Exhibition changes every 2 months, the last week of the even month: museum is closed for changing to new exhibits. Interesting building structures with secret hideouts. Interesting history especially if you're Japanese. The current exhibition is the first time such art work is displayed.

Small museum art gallery space in a historic building showcasing local artists. Combination space showed photographs, multimedia, and spacial displays. Helpful staff. The museum is moving to new location in Joo Chiat neighborhood in 2022.

Extremely small museum, you're probably done in 5-15mins. You should pop in if nearby, and the staff are welcoming, but not really worth a trek. The particular exhibition I visited unfortunately did not impress, but it's good that they support local talent and the building they're in has a collection of nice murals as well.

I had a lovely time there. Went to see a combined collection of Chen Wen Xi's art. It was beautiful. I'm glad that a space like this exists for private collectors to exhibit their pieces. Go see the Chen Wen Xi's while you can! It's on until the end of September.

On the third storey. There are a lift at the end of the building. A slow mechanical lift at the back of the building. Art or photography events are held frequently. Complimentary refreshments with wine are served during these events.

Insider tip for art lovers! Whenever you’re in Singapore, it’s definitely worth to check the Private Museum’s current exhibition. Nicely selected art pieces and very welcoming staff, who loves to provide you with interesting facts about the artists. If you’re lucky, you even get to attend inspiring workshops! Thank you for the experience.
