Great for just about most outdoor activities- running, walking or just chilling in the splendor of the park. The park is well landscaped and a good atmosphere. Whilst swimming is allowed, it's not always opportune with the vast amount of shipping going by and whilst it is well maintained, there is occasional debris and waste.

Very nice cyclist park for kid to cycle around..certain area of the park cyclist just zoom here and there so beware if you are a novice. They should allow some street seller like ice cream or snack seller so that it will be more fun over there.

Fun fun and just a lot more of... fun! East Coast Park, or ECP as we all know it, is a place for everyone, whether you want to exercise or relax, eat or laze, or go alone or with a dozen people (as long as covid rules allow)! There's the clean beach, cycling lanes, roller blading areas, eating joints, playground and tons of place to just throw open the picnic mat or lay out a picnic basket on a sturdy bench. These are places that make life worth living; we go there often, so should you!

Last few days as the park goers have increased visiting East Coast Park, there are many unsightly scenes of people littering all over and cigarette butts all around the benches, these are some of the photos from last one week. Doing my small little bit to help those cleaning staff who tirelessly work, to pick the litter. Some of the pics with the picked up litter, which I do every weekend. Be considerate and do your bit, donโ€™t let others pick your rubbish. Keep our parks neat & tidy.

Superb place. Superb experience. East Coast Park Singapore is a perfect place to relax, rejuvenate and be with nature. Sea, breeze, trees, sand, food courts, cycling, walk, run, sit, relax, exercise, let kids play. No crowd, no rush. Enjoy the calm, peace. What else can one ask for. Super clean. Planned to the T.

The East Coast Park Precinct Phase 1, located at the harbourfront in Fortress Hill on Hong Kong Island, will be officially opened on September 25. Phase 1 of the precinct, with an area of about 9,800 sq m, is located to the west of Watson Road. It was previously a works area for the Central-Wan Chai Bypass (CWB) project. People can reach the precinct from MTR Fortress Hill Station exit A byย walkingย along Oil Street and Electric Road, and then going to the end of Watson Road, taking about seven minutes.

Weekday afternoons are the best time to visit to beat the crowd. More peaceful when there's lesser folks running/cycling around. Great for long walks, cycling, jogging. Sink in and forget all the worries of the world.

One of my favourite places to hang out, cycling, jogging, walking or to have a barbecue by the beach. Since I got to Sg , I'm going there every month and it's always a good vibe, the view and just a fresh air. You can book a barbecue pit or rent a bicycle,Boat , etc. It's quite a few of bars and restaurants around the area as well. If you like to exercise that will be a good spot to run or play some volleyball. Cheers

Amazing place to walk especially during evening time, not so hot. The breeze and sea sounds will calm your mind and soul. Really like the idea to have cycling and walking/running path, no need to worry speeding bicycle. Try to chit chat with people nicely, you might get some surprise: Guy share his fishing tactic and one gentleman even let me walk his big dog.

Incredibly beautiful! If you're planning to spend a good time with your friends, family or partner in the evening then this is the right place for you to come. Make sure that you spend at least 3-4 hours and check out amazing points. A view of the beach will make you fall in love. Also, you can get bicycles on rent and there is a separate track for the same. There are a lot of other activities available for kids. You can also bring your own food and eat there. There is no entry fee as such in order to enter into the park/beach. Check out some pictures that I have clicked.

A really nice place to chill alone and with friends! Have both cycling and walking paths for both bikers and pedestrians! Have many bikes that you can ride by downloading the bike sharing app! Love the very blue waters of the sea and you can sit on the rocks to enjoy the sea breeze ๐ŸŒŠ ๐Ÿ˜ I guess you can say... here's a perfect spot for a date with your partner ๐Ÿ˜‰

Have a lot of fun here. We cycling with the hello ride apps, but I also see some local vendors with more options like 4 person wheel cart for going around. The beach great, thereโ€™s a dog run. Some people playing volley and jog.

It is my usual route for my marathon training. It is a great place to have long run as there is a pedestrian path without cyclists. Scenery is good. Path has some shade but can be hot in morning as direct sunlight. There are many public toilets (with water fountains) as well as food and drink kiosks. However, there are irresponsible dog owners which has not cleaned their dog poops. Runner must be careful. Yikes!

Awesome place to visit for some nature and peace. Greatly maintain trails - separate trails for jogging/biking and walking. Clean beach and water but plenty of ships parked in a distance. Lots of trees around, bbq pits, etc. There are food/drink stalls and bike rentals. As well as, children playground areas. Seen people wind surfing, swimming, sailing, enjoying beach volleyball, fishing, etc.

A highly-accessible and cost-free beach - a suitable location for fun gatherings. There is ample space (shade, tables, grass & sandy ground) for picnics and other outdoor activities. There are also multiple play-areas including swings and a playground - providing perfect equipment for some thrill! Additionally, there are ample food/dining options conveniently located near the beach.

Even though it's Covid, there's a lot you can still do at the park. I go for my endless walks by the sea. You can also take breathtaking breaks at the jetties. It so windy, calm and peaceful. Best to bring along a portable chairs to enjoy the scene and breeze. There great eateries along the way too. Just an awesome place to go to unwind. Breeze your blues away.

I really love ECP. It's quiet, chilled, everyone seems happy, and there's just an epic chilled vibe about the place rain or shine. There are also some amazing cafes and restaurants along the front too including Central Thai (sit and watch the world go by), Basil & Thyme (amazing Thai, try the beef noodles) and St Marks (superb burgers).

Catch the lovely sunset at East Coast Park. Its been a tired week, brought family out for bonding and relax. Listen to the sound of the sea waves, enjoy the lovely sunset scenery. The view is awesome. Its a nice place to relax with your family. With a big opening field behind to play ball games, sandy beach at the front. And we happened to saw a group of parrot lovers flying their birds around the area. It's a real bonus to us.

Nice place to get close to the sea, not a great beach for swimming as lots of ships and the water is not clear. Had some good fun. Good for family with small kids, also perfect for cycling, practice skating and have some fresh air.

Itโ€™s a great park for Easties - expansive space, greenery and beaches, great dog run, quite a number of food options (although quite spread out), rentable BBQ pits BUT itโ€™s nothing fancy. The beach is littered with plastic bottles and things that float up from the sea. The BBQ pits are simple and sometimes have random people sleeping on it. Itโ€™s still a park so ants are around. If youโ€™re looking for a simple, low key place to walk, enjoy the sunset, chill, bike near your neighborhood, then this is a good place. You can even windsurf or camp if you want. But if youโ€™re looking for tourist attractions or fancy restaurants, you may be better off going to Gardens By the Bay or Sentosa. That said, being an Eastie, I do love just coming and walking and spreading out a picnic mat and watching the sunset.

East Coast Park is a beloved destination for people of all ages and interests. With its long stretch of scenic coastline, it offers a variety of activities for everyone. Cyclists and rollerbladers can enjoy the smooth pathways that run alongside the park, providing a safe and enjoyable experience. The park is also popular among picnic goers, with plenty of grassy areas and barbecue pits available for use. Families with strollers can easily navigate the park's wide paths, making it a great place for a leisurely stroll. For those looking to cool off, there are designated swimming areas along the beach where you can take a dip in the sea. The park also has shower facilities and changing rooms nearby for convenience. Runners will appreciate the well-maintained jogging tracks that wind through the park, offering a scenic route for their workouts. The park's lush greenery and refreshing sea breeze make it a pleasant environment for outdoor exercise. Overall, East Coast Park is a fantastic destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Its diverse range of activities and beautiful surroundings make it a must-visit location for anyone looking to enjoy a day out in nature.

Long stretches of Public beach with facilities including washrooms with showers, bicycles rental, camping (at designated areas), bbq spots (pre-booking is required), restaurants, cafes etc. popular for family/friends outings eg picnic. Swimmable beach but just need to manage your expectation on the waters quality. It is a very busy shipping route out there.

A good park to spend some time during weekends. There are playgrounds, water play area, & sand area that your kids can have fun with. You can also jz laze around just looking at the sea & ships.

I open walk here. The sea breeze and the sound of the waves are cool and make me feel good. Area A ~ H, It stretches long the sea from Marina Bay toward the airport. It is made up of flat land with no elevation, and the bicycle path and walking path are separated, so it is relatively safe.

Beautiful & peaceful place to relax even if you are coming alone. It has been ages since i last came, and I was very impressed by the food and beverage available. There is a big 7-11 for short breaks and quick meals. If you are in the mood to chill, there's plenty of options depending on your budget. Burger King, Old Town, PS cafe(Trending), and even mokata, just to name a few. It feels great to look away from your phone screen and enjoy the greens, the sea, the sand, and old school shells picking. Stress free for riders as restrooms and watercoolers are plentiful. For bicycle riders like me who are easily stressed on roads, Singapore has amazing pavement infrastructure. I travelled from Woodlands > Gambas > Yishun > Yio Chu Kang > Ang Mio Kio > Bishan > Potong Pasir > Geylang > East Coast without riding on any road, even for traffic lights. โ™ก Singapore

Hot day for a beach visit. Many people were enjoying the sun and the sea. It was relaxing.

  • 4/5 Galen H. 3 years ago on Google
One of the biggest and best parks to saunter. It's so large it takes quite awhile about an hour to walk from 1 end to the other. The pavements for bikes and pedestrian help traffic alot as well. Facilities dotted about and your usual restaurants on both ends. However the trash from the ocean builds up very quickly so nea or park authorities need to have better cleaning methods.

  • 4/5 Clarrance S. 3 years ago on Google
Implementations were made to make sure the park is segregated into different areas, each with their own safe entry QR code. I went on a weekend and there were quite a number of people there, so i advise going on a weekday.

  • 4/5 Youhee L. 3 years ago on Google
Update: What happened here? The beautiful beach is littered with trash and almost entire playground is closed. So disappointed... Had a great time with my kids at the park. Tried the SG bike for the first time. Enjoyed riding a bike by the water. Great place to get some exercise during the Circuit breaker.

Nice view of the sea.. Don't be shocked if you saw anyone pick up litters in the sea that easily. I hope the environment can be more cleaner.

  • 5/5 Jim A. 3 years ago on Google
One of my favourite place to go to. The beach has become very littered and NEA has to close off many sections just to do clean ups. Many bags of rubbish consolidated. (see pic) Many thanks to NEA and also volunteers who have helped done the clean up. But we hope that we can address the root cause.

I've been doing a lot of cycling through East Coast Park over the past few months of the lockdown in Singapore. Although it gets very busy, the paths are quite wide which means plenty of space for cycling without risking collisions with pedestrians. And you get around 10km from one end to the other.

A good place to spend an evening with family. Lot of acvities to do. Cycling with family, play areas for the kids, restaurants and coffee shops, nice seating areas and equally well maintained rest rooms. However, lot of wood lying around on the beach. Not sure if something was planned. Otherwise mostly a good place to go with family.

I decided all of a sudden on a Sunday afternoon to go out and was out of choices for a good place to go. Just in the moment, it hit me. I knew the perfect place for a memorable Sunday evening. Took the SBS bus from my place and got off at Opp Parkway Parade bus stop. It was quite a bit of walk from there until the sea shore. But when I got there it was so serene I just felt so light and calm. A lot of people were around and some good cages and restaurants were nearby. Comfort level - 100%. Definitely recommend ECP for a chill out Sunday evening.

We always loved East Coast Park. If you take pictures along the coast, most people may think you went overseas. The part I like most is the Bedok jetty. I believe it is the longest public jetty in Singapore. There are so many people fishing, strolling and young people dating along this Jetty. It is a place where you can have a nice dinner and then go enjoy a nice stroll with the family. Some places have free parking lots too.

Nice for a walk or cycling or hanging out with friends in general. Food is always close to you, but would recommend the nearby Lagoon Hawker Center. There you get the best Seafood and Satay. On the other hand, going for a swim is nice at Sentosa. Beach and Gras to lay on is a bit rough and even.

A favourite spot for runners as well as a usual route for most of local running event. Plenty cafes, restaurants and a hawker centre located along the park which stretches about 12km. As one can expect, this strip of coast is very crowded, especially over the weekend. It is nice that the cycle and walking lanes are seperate so makes less chance of collision.. some evenings you can see the beautiful kites flying.. good sea breeze although sometimes smells like petrol.. I guess you will get that with a 100 cargo ships out in front. Beautiful spot for the sunset. I do enjoy coming down here for a walk when I can. There are also exercise stations to work out on. I have not swam yet but having done some research, apparently it is graded as "good" and meets WHO standards.. there are maps on the paths at night time.

I think many people grew up with memories of East Coast Park. It offers a respite from the city. You can choose to sit at one of the many dining options or bring a picnic mat. The options range from cafes to bars and restaurants. There is also a famous hawker centre nearby, East Coast Lagoon Food Village. There are many activities to do such as cycling, rollerblading and other watersports. However, do maintain social distancing. Dress lightly as the weather can get quite hot. Bring a foldable umbrella just in case of a sudden rain shower. There are shower facilities to rinse the sand off. Please keep the public areas clean.

The East Coast Parkway (or ECP for us locals) stretches from Marina Barrage all the way to Changi - where it turns into the "Changi Treadmill" or the "Changi Grinder" depending on your level of depravity. The ECP is for everyone! There's tonnes of activities to do along the way, you'll see Filipino groups having BBQs, sing songs, and just a jolly good time. During Xmas they turn the dial to 11 and punch out Feliz Navidad till it is stuck in your head for a month. You can rent bikes, camp in tents, go sailing, picnic and BBQ, exercise (you'll see runners, walkers, rollerbladers, cyclists, quad bikers, tandem cyclists)... you name it everyone is doing it. During Covid-19 / The Coov / The Pandemic / Whatevs you wanna call it, this park is a sanctuary for your mental health, get here as often as you can and get your life in balance. Enjoy my friends!

the skate park is closed, and some parts of the park is under construction. bus 401 is also suspended because of reduced demand due to covid. just some points to take note of yeah. โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” anyway, this park is bootiful. you could rent a bike from the gocycling rental place at area c3 and chill around the park. family bikes are cool too. the stretch of coastline is very narrow, but very long, stretching all the way from marina east to changi jurassic mile. the sea view is a bit discouraging but at least you can see 69 trillion ships waiting in the water to go to tanjong pagar. anyway a cool day for me (btw come on weekdays less crowd even in the hols and there are offers for the bikes as well: buy 1h for 2h while weekend its buy 2h for 3h)

This being just about the only beach that is large enough for swimming, tanning, picnics, bbq and other activities, it has been transformed by the government over the years into a place to hangout and have some fun. The water is now cleaner than ever, and is actually quite clear, compared to the murky, oily sludge of old. Here, you can rent bicycles, take a nice stroll along the shore, fish at the jetty, and even go wake boarding. Hungry? Restaurants, cafes and a hawker centre offer a variety of food. As always, weekdays are quieter, and recommended if you want to go.

Great place to spend time with your friends, and loved ones. Whatever activities that you like to do outdoor, East Coast Park is the place. With a long sandy beach from Gardens by the Bay all the way to Changi beach where you can swim, jog, cycle or simply walk by the beach. Perfect during sunny day or when it's windy. It's best not to do any activity when it looks like it's about to rain. Cause it can be down pour without warning and you will not be able to find any shelter nearby where you are at that moment. As there are not too many shelters along the coast.

I had an amazing and relaxing time at this place! There were tons of fun activities to spend your free time, and the park stretched almost two kilometers along the east coast. The park had a well-equipped children's playground, a skating platform, and many other amenities. The beach was clean and shallow, making it the ideal spot for a Sunday outing. Additionally, there was a jetty built alongside the beach, providing a breathtaking view of the sea and planes traversing through Changi Airport. I even heard that they have camping sites available, which seems to be popular among the locals. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing day out. Whether you're with family, friends, or on your own, there's something for everyone at this park!

Absolutely loved East Coast Park. There is literally something for everyone with trails for those who like walking, dedicated bike lanes and plenty of wildlife around to admire. Depending on the time of day that you visit, you see lots of different activities taking place. I generally visited just before sunrise for a run, but found it very relaxing to see older folk practicing tai chi. There are bbq pits which can be hired out during the season, although I only ever did walking and running whilst I was at east coast park. There is also a little mini beach which kids tend to use and plenty of seating space both shaded and open air. Lots of nice coconut trees to shelter under as well.

A nice beach. Visited during a weekday and it was peaceful. Workers were there resting from the afternoon sun whilst helping to keep the ground neat and tidy. The beach was fairly clean except it was a little disappointing to find a discarded fridge which i had assumed washed up. A fairly pleasant trip to reminisce my growing up years spent BBQ-ing and biking in the park with family and friends.

Exercising at east coast park is a great way to start the day, especially so when the weather this morning was excellent. There were many people doing different sports, including tai chi, roller blading, jogging, brisk walking, cycling, beach volleyball and walking the dogs. Also great place for social gathering and camping. We started from marine parade underpass, to parkland green, to coastal playgrove (used to be the bigsplash for those who are familiar) and then to marine parade central hawker centre for breakfast via another underpass. I clocked about 8k steps. Lots of restaurants at parkland green, including a starbucks. Dogs owners will love this place. There is a dog run, area for dog wash and a mega store selling pet food and stuff. Note that most restaurants are pet friendly, you can enjoy your meals in open space if your dogs are with you. Young kids will enjoy coastal playgrove with big outdoor playgrounds. Yoga Inc is there too. It looks great to be doing yoga in a beach environment. Several restaurants are now opened. Highly recommend for people who enjoy outdoor and nature !!!

Nice beach however the boats are very close (and really really Lots of and really big boats) so the see for swimming is not the best even if the water is warm enough and even if the beach is clean but the water is not a temptation Color...... And difficult to do fotos without big boats in the background. But the path is long and nice to walk on it along the beach between the Green trees. Toilets are also aviable everywhere and free to use and clean too. Shops an bars are also everywhere so easy to buy to drink however there are also drinking water stations where is possible even to fill our bottle for free with good water to drink!! So i suggest for visit for walk but not for swimm.
