Still waters, lush greenery, and the occasional family of monkeys allow one to immerse in the beauty and peace nature has to offer. A welcome escape from the city and neighbourhood buildings. A common park for people to exercise and explore. Be cautious when walking along the boardwalk at the edges of the reservoir as some sections do not have a guardrail.

My favorite place to watch sunset in Singapore. The sky and cloud is more colorful and beautiful in half an hour after sunset.

Morning and evening walks here are very therapeutic! You see wild life sometimes. The usuals are monkeys, squirrels, chickens & roosters. Occasionally you'll spot some wild boars or snakes and if u are really lucky, mouse deers! Love it! Parking is free and the toilet is clean with toilet paper (for ladies, don't know about the gents)

This is a quiet reservoir park with a lovely view of the Lower Peirce Reservoir. Usually not too crowded except for the occasional groups of visitors. The park also has good walking paths (board walk) that give a good walking workout. Occasionally you will come across wildlife that ventures into the open. A good place to chill barring the occasional noisy groups that break the tranquility of the place.

Short, yet beautiful trail. Extremely serene and quite peaceful in the morning if you head out early. At the mouth of the trail, there are delectable eateries like Casuarina Curry where you can get a quick bite as a post-hike treat.

Gorgeous, restful and restorative. These are good enough reasons to visit. It’s a quiet place with lovely views onto the golf course of Singapore Island Country Club. Nice!

Been here quite a lot ever since I was introduced to this place. It's a super easy trek down. The walk is covered in trees so you don't really get direct sunlight. Walk takes about 30 mins with views from trees, to a bit of a dried down stream, opening to the view of the reservoir, and finally to the resting area/ fishing area/ carpark. It is quite hard to go to this place as there is no near train station. There can be sightings of monkeys and boars quite regularly.

Enjoy this Serene place ! Also like the convenience of just crossing the road after exercise or walk for a meal. There're numerous types of cuisine there for selection; from local hawker food, cafe to more luxurious restaurant. 👍

One of the places that you can enjoy the touch of natures. A good place for photo enthusiasts to shoot beautiful photos of natures. However, at times it will be crowded with visitors, so plan your trip well.

Beautiful place for pictures and to explore. There are 2 very easy trails, totally flat and "paved" with boardwalks, that go into the forest a little and even take you out on top of the water on the edge of the reservoir. Watch out for the monkeys that roam the area - keep your plastic bags in your bags and don't feed or disturb the monkeys.

Easy trails on planks with some/minimal stairs. I covered all the trails back and forth under an hour on leisure pace. Plenty of seating area for breaks and chill time. First quarter of the hike has nice reservoir view. Spotted a wild boar passing through. Public car park is easily accessible and near entrance. I would recommend this for a family-friendly quick short hike.

It is a smaller reservoir compared to Upper Pierce. Well maintained park and serene as there's less crowd. Took less than 30 minutes to walk through it. Effortless and generally flat (just some stairs) terrain. There is a wooden-plank walkway along the reservoir. Had some quiet moments sitting there to soak in the reservoir set against a background of luscious trees. Saw some dog owners walking their dogs on the outermost parts. For dog owners might want to be careful as there are signs of wild boars, monkeys and snakes around.

quietness and serenity. glad to have havens like this to just really step back, and unwind, retreat from the hustle and bustle which is this island state... been always appreciative of not just the views, but the different types of fauna , both big (boars) and small (arachnids of many varieties)

Wonderful, quiet nature park. The trail is mostly on walkboards that snake through the jungle and then offer a beautiful view of the lake. Lots of wildlife to see, including monkeys, monitor lizards, smaller lizards, and all kind of birds. The dam of the reservoir is also worth a visit.

A quiet place for a morning workout or for exercising. Do be careful with the monkeys and don't feed them or they will be after you (or your food). Do note that there's limited parking on site especially if you come in after 9am on a weekend. There's a park connector which has less traffic and good for a jog.

From Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park to Thomson Nature Park, the surrounding residents of Sembawang Hill Estate are pretty fortunate enough to live near so many wonderful parks and reservoirs. Amongst them is Lower Peirce Reservoir Park. The park is decently sized and is definitely one of the most family friendly parks to visit in Singapore for a variety of activities - Fishing, board walking by the water, forest trail walking, catching spiders, monkey watching and yes, even holding a wedding proposal...!! Fun fact - The geographical centre of Singapore is actually located at the 1st resting shelter that you'll come across before entering the forest trail, do activate your Google Maps and mark the location when you're there..!!

This is my new favourite with manageable trails for every age group, unguarded boardwalk that lead along the clear water of the reservoir. Easy accessibility from Casuarina side if you oob to cover other nature parks like Thomson and Springleaf. We did spot a wild boar, few monkeys and could see fishes in the water. There are tons of insect for macro photography as well.

  • 4/5 Amos H. 2 years ago on Google
Love the walk. Especially the short part by the water, in fact, over the water. Was pretty sunny and thus hot when we went but it was cool whenever we were in vegetation. Spotted so much wildlife along the way, it was amazing. Colugo, Blue Sprite, squirrels, some lizard like thingy with scales.... ☺️ We parked at Casuarina, lunched and started the walk from that end. Ended at the car park where we could use the toilet and topped up our way before heading back. Many rest spots along the way with benches.

One of the oldest reservoir in Singapore, a relatively short trail but clean nice and well manage ! Nice boardwalk which is good for family outing and elderly. A quiet area, good for relaxing with amazing nice view of the reservoir. Birds singing, squirrels running / jumping, monkeys running around, dragonfly and wild boar. Very lucky on this trip where I manage to see wild boar, birds, little cute monkey and old monkey sitting quietly. Monkeys that "pose" for you to snap...😀 Overall the place is worth visiting !

Best place for short run or walk, wt up & close experience wt the forest & of course, fresh air. Beautiful sunset view. Wild boars encounter is common. Park close at 7 p.m. At the end of the walk, is eatery such as the famous Casuarina Prata shop. Otrwise, one can also choose to continue the walk/run to Upper Pierce Reservoir (UPR) which enterance is nearby. Be prepared for a 2-way, 6 k.m..journey to & out of UPR park.

Lower Peirce Reservoir Park is a very serene park that gives people a peace of mind. Having the reservoir view from the park helps me to destress. There is a special sheltered using the concept of the sailing boat where you venture out towards the deeper part of the reservoir. A very small bridge can be found in Lower Peirce Reservoir Park. Playground facilities are there for children to play as well. Benches can be found facing the reservoir directly where you can rest and enjoy the water view. It's is also a park connector where there are cycling tracks which is good for walking, running and cycling as well. Fishing enthusiast also come here to fish. The facilities include toilet and cycling rental stops. #ILoveLowerPeirceReservoirPark

10Nov2021: Looking for a scenic and tranquil walk? Head to Lower Pierce Reservoir and this is a great place to enjoy fresh air, trees, reservoir and a playground for kids too. Water fountain and toilets are near to the carpark 11Jan2022: Section of boardwalk from Bamboo Trail to Casuarina Entrance is now open after repairs. Enjoyed the Bamboo Trail and we were pleasantly surprised to see so many playful squirrels. Besides getting the exercises, nature walk is also a great way of appreciating nature's beauty and tranquility.

The park is tucked away along Old Upper Thomson Road. There is a small lane on the left of the one way street that leads to a small carpark that has about 20+ lots. Therefore if you are coming on weekends pls arrive by 6.30am or else you have to wait for someone to leave before you get a carpark lot. And it's a substantial wait. The park itself is a short walk to the reservoir. The view is amazing and peaceful in the mornings, especially with the misty air above the water. It can get rather hot after 8plus am so do be aware. There are footpaths along the waters edge so you can walk/exercise over there. Monkeys are often seen so please do not feed them or leave your belongings unattended. The park is crowded on weekends so stay safe and maintain safe your safe distancing!

Lots of monkey on the trail. Be careful with your food. If you are lucky you may see the mouse deer, stingray

I like this park, very chilling, surrounded by trees, lake, just like a secret hidden gem! And it’s not crowded and not too hot also. Very peaceful and calm for a slow walk here. Just that the trail it’s a bit too short.

One of the best places for a small outing with family. The walking trail which leads to a water front is just mesmerising. Worth a visit and the best time to visit is near to the sunset so you can walk the trail and end with a fabulous sunset view.

Small but beautiful park. Love to walk on the boardwalk beside the reservoir, especially during early morning and see the golden glow of the rising sun on the water.

Beautiful reservoir and park, very easy walk with very nice views. Boardwalk right next to the water surface. There’s also monkeys amongst the trees, and monitor lizards in the water.

Today, another 100 years old tembusu tree is felled. Hope our National Parks is doing the right thing.
