A peaceful and tranquil park in the west side. Great place for a leisure walk to enjoy the nature and best of all- it is free. You could enjoy the fresh air in the morning and enjoy natural scenery. You should be able to see some chicken or rooster along the way too. The route was well maintained and clean, with ample bins along the route. A great healthy family destination to visit, with something for everyone in the family. Strongly recommended!!!

A rather small park but a great place if you just want a quiet time away from the hustles and bustles in the more popular parks such as Bukit Timah and MacRitchie.

Rare to see rooster roaming around here. Bring back memories when I was young leaving in Kampong Village. Now our young z generations only see died frozen chicken in supermarket. 🤭. Nice place to walk . 🚶‍♀️

Lovely, older park with a nice Playground, views of the old Quarry and other mixed amenities. The WWII Memorial is a nice touch. Lots of stairs and a great hill to climb, but worth the walk!

My first time here and I’m impressed. The park is not that big but there are enough pockets of private spaces in the form of elevations and spacious corners to accommodate different activities. The lush trees allows for a shady and peaceful walk. Just the right amount of slopes and off-road terrain to do a quick morning walk and get your heart pumping. The majestic view of the quarry just makes reaching the destination all the more rewarding. I will bring my binoculars the next time to catch views or any bird or wildlife in the trees or bushes! Worth a visit! Go check it out!

A very interesting park, but all the mountain roads are very steep. If you have a bad knee, it is not recommended to go here. There are many wild birds in the park, especially many roosters. There are two parking lots, it is recommended to go by car. I have been to many parks in Singapore and this is really special and original ecologic

Great nature park to escape the city for a few hours. There are paved paths here but some trails are quiet steep so come prepared wearing comfortable clothes and shoes and bring plenty of water. There are quite a few joggers running around and other just enjoying their time in nature. I am enjoying with my family

A smaller park compared to the central catchment area. But if you cover the park plus the steps (currently under renovation), it would still be worth the effort. Nevertheless you get the see birds like the jungle fowl, laughing thrush and perhaps if you are lucky enough, you can see the colugo. Occasionally you can hear the woodpeckers at work and the drilling sound is simply amazing. Good place for a little walk and workout

Nice and tranquil park. Internally link to the Bukit Batok World War II memorial site. You can find many types of wild animal here like komodo dragon, monkeys, kampong chicken, squirrel etc. Good place for kid to cycle scooter. Also for old people to exercise as the trail is rather flat.

Nice park to trek! Many paths to walk. Seems popular among seniors too. Good for beginner trekkers.

Proper concrete-tile paths that minimise slips and do not get your shoes muddy. I love how the various paths meander within the hill, and are sloped to give a good exercise. The quarry is beautiful. The best path is the one that leads to the WW2 memorial. See the quarry first, then go to WW2 memorial. There is a long flight of stairs at the memorial but the end point has nothing there. Just treat it as good exercise. A pity the memorial plate is beyond reading due to damage from Sun.

Get down at Bukit gombak mrt station. Just Buy some foods and drinks. Walk towards the stadium and you could see steps heading further. Then you see this amazing place. Enjoy your moments there. On weekends sometimes people gathers but not that much crowded though. Don’t smoke or ruin the peace there please 🙏

A shaded family-friendly trail with hills to climb, beautiful trees and the quarry was a fitting resting spot to have a snack and take photos before climbing up to see the WW2 memorial. Appreciate all the shade under the hot sun!

A shady park, good to visit even on a sunny afternoon. Helmed by big trees, the park exudes a tranquil experience as you walk on the path heading towards the cliff or climb the stone steps up the hill towards the War Memorial. The fresh pine and woody scent of the greenery refreshes the mind and body. A great place to go for a walk or exercise at any time of the day.

Fairly tough uphill walk, nice view of the quarry. Can venture further to nature reserve. Lots of wild animals to see and animal poo on the walkway. Cooling and shady even the weather is hot. Too bad it's short

Walking into Bukit Batok Nature Park is another different experience; by looking at the surrounding area, I never expected another hidden gem in the Bukit Batok area. It was an abandoned site around 36hectare, redeveloped in 1988; this park has a quarry pool with a stunning view of the limestone hill. This is my favorite spot in this park; the surrounding is peaceful, and enjoying turtles swimming around inside the pool. This park is also a resident place for many birds, chickens, and water lizards. Some native wild orchids are also spotted here, and it's part of NParks orchid conservation program.

Easy hike walk can complete within an hour but love to be out in the nature just to unwind. Do spot some cute animals along the way! If driving, there is a pretty spacious carpark outside the park.

Medium sized natural reserve with a quarry pool at the edge with turtles, fish and pink dragonflies. Don’t miss the beautiful birds with white plumes. The paths are well maintained, easy for the elderly and the kids and meander through the thick greenery helping you enjoy the peacefulness and take a refreshing forest-bath.

Bukit Batok Nature Reserve Fire Station Hike I am a level hiker but this hill isn’t so bad - it’s about a 30 degree climb for 15 mins. Then at the top there are a bunch of stairs that ends at the fence top. On the right side goes to a beautiful quiet colonial housing estate that’s super quaint!! It’s a short half to an hour walk! Not bad at all!

Kids friendly, as the park is not too huge. Walkways is relatively flat and there’s a playground near the quarry. There’s a small river stream opposite the playground, as other kids were seen walking in the stream which we followed. Not sure if the water was clean or was this allowed but it was a fun simple activity. Toilet is located near the playground too.

A nice calming park. Good for a 2 hr walk to take the edge out of city living. There are uphills and staircases that leads up to the quarry and war memorial. Paved walkways make ls it easy. The memorial is not really much. So u don’t have to try too hard to get there if the walk gets difficult for u.

Very lush and compact secondary forest in Bukit Batok. Doesn’t look like much from the main road but there is an abundance of flora and fauna, as well as a quarry. You will be amazed with what you can see in here. Quite a number of trails, including one that will lead to a WWII memorial. Highly recommended.

Good place to go for a morning jog! Very well maintained and also if you're lucky, you can get to see a Malayan Colugo or the flying lemer resting on lower part of the trees camouflaged like a tree bump! What a fascinating animal! 😁

This park is much quieter as compared to the nearby Bukit Timah hill. Surprisingly, this park is quite hilly and the paths are mostly laid with bricks. Hence, you have to be a little careful when walking on the paths. This park is a great park for bird watching enthusiasts. We saw a number of white-crested laughing thrush. They even ‘performed’ a session for us! There are also some pretty interesting looking trees.

Small but historic park in Singapore, which holds a history of the area being a quarry and the lake that the mining left behind. It’s not converted into a beautiful nature park for light trekking, exercising, nature watching, and even had a small playground for children and toilets nearby for convenience. There are carparks accessible to this area as well. Worth a visit if you’re around the area 👍

Bukit Batok Nature Park is a place where you can explore the beauty of nature . The air is so fresh in the morning. Sometimes you can spot some rare birds around. Once in a while there is an old man that play bamboo flute somewhere near the lake. The rhythm echo through the space is pleasing to the ear.

There were few other people at that time, but when I was about to leave the park around 5pm in the evenning, I saw lot of people entering.

Went over with my 6 year old Nephew in the morning. We had a pleasant walk through various paths. Enjoyed the views of the quarry and the greenery. We saw a cicada rubbing it's wings, a monitor lizard crossing our path, lots of monkeys, flowers, birds and their calls made the outing memorable. Met many people with children as there was a playground with sand where my nephew had lots of fun! Definitely going back often!

Much to see here. There's a lake (or quarry?). A playground. Fitness corner. Toilets and drinking fountain. Interesting terrain. The hilly part of the park is paved with brick-like stones. So there's groves that will help drain water when it rains and aid in traction. But some parts can be a little steep, so go with decent footwear. There is also a World War II memorial.

  • 5/5 Pramila G. 3 years ago on Google

I love this park for its undulating trails, and the lovely quarry pond. Follow the sign board and head to Lor Sesuai to the WWII Memorial, and you can head down to Upper Bukit Timah, and then walk in to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, and visit the Hindhede Quarry, before the final summit climb up the steep tarmac road. While coming down, go down via Rengas route on the right, take the Dairy Farm Loop, down the steep slope down on the right, out to Dairy Farm Car Park B. Then proceed along the path towards Car Park A, and enjoy your lunch at Rail Mall. The Hill View MRT is just along the Upper Bukit Timah Road. Have fun.

A relatively small park with enough staircases and gradients to provide a reasonable workout. Well paved paths , suitable for all types of weather. Care to be taken when walking along some portions as the paths are not flat. Otherwise good for a 40 minute walk.

Nice small park w quarry view and short ascent. Near Bukit timah nature reserve and hindhede nature park so can continue trekking if one has not gotten enough kick from the walk

  • 5/5 Kevin K. 2 years ago on Google
Bukit batok park is really small compared to others like bukit timah or dairy farm, however it’s still a nice walk with plenty to see. Most people drive here but you can also walk from the train station, around 20min walk

  • 2/5 Jason A. 2 years ago on Google
The park has great nature trail ; certain segments were ideal for trekkers who like to train up their stairs / vertical climbing stamina. One huge flaw is the lack of a toilet facility near the entrance car park. This amenity is more or less expected and found in most public parks. One has to trek all the way to the pond area to gain access to the toilets.

Serene and tranquil nature reserve in Bukit Batok. Not many people on a PH morning. It’s an easy trail with proper shady pathways with no mud at all. Took almost 5km/1.5h to complete the trail (with some detours and photo breaks). Nice place for a midpoint break at the quarry, there was an uncle flutist when we went there on 1 May 2022 (like those wuxia playing their bamboo flute by the lake). Birds were singing along to the tune of his music. Beautiful gem of nature away from the city 🌳

  • 4/5 Azza J. 1 year ago on Google
Good place for beginner. You can start frm the bottom of the slope followed by the steps/stairs, 2-3 sets is a good start. If it's too easy for you, bring in some weights with u (can be body vest weights, few bottles of 1.5L water bottle in your back pack).

  • 3/5 KiM BooN L. 1 year ago on Google
The memorial park really nothing much but the stairs which those "joggers" use it for training... the way from exit 2 go all the way straight in will come to guilin- like of pond look better the the "little guilin" itself... worth the walk all the way there, maybe like 15mins or so...
