A very nice place to visit. It is well maintained and very clean. It gives beautiful memory after the visit. The kids really enjoyed being here and asked to get here more often. We can enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful scenery around. Hope we could visit this place again soon

Nice open space for you to walk around especially in the evening. A number of monuments in this park as well. The trees here are very artistic in nature too.

9/10 Was lucky enough to visit the park on the way to Merlion Park on a Sunday. It is literally brimming with Singapore's youth. Oddly you will not see any children here🫢. But hundreds sitting, eating, laughing, enjoying and spending their weekend casually until the dreaded Monday brings more deadlines. Surprisingly I didn't see any litter despite the park being full. Says a lot about the laws and how people uphold it. Singapore no doubt is immaculately clean, even the roads look like grey carpet!

Built in 1943 and redeveloped in 1991, Esplanade Park is one of the oldest among Singapore’s heritage parks. Esplanade Park is a showcase for many of Singapore’s historical landmarks and is now enveloped by the development of new structures that reflect modern and prosperous Singapore. A good place for a morning run and walk in the evenings to capture the beauty of modern Singapore

a normal enough park on normal days featuring nice historical monuments but now from 3-26 june 2022 the i light show really hyped this place up (not as well as the i light installations around marina bay sands and the promontory but still)

A beautiful park smack right in the middle of the bustling city of Singapore. It is a quiet and beautiful escape for many during the rush-periods of city life where you are brought into a beautiful garden of greens. Decked with many seats, open greenland and thankfully a toilet that was finally built in recent years, this small yet holistic park that is filled with parts of Singapore’s history is a great stop for visitors to have a snippet of why Singapore is being famously named as a “Beautiful Garden City”!

(Translated by Google) A small park and the nearby promenade offer beautiful photo opportunities of the skyline, the lion and the Marina Bay Hotel. Take a break from everyday life and stroll around for a while. Also very clean here, but that's actually it in the whole city. In addition, I have eaten here at a stand a very delicious Durian ice cream, but that's more for the experimentalists ;-) (Original) Ein kleiner Park und grad die Promenade in der Nähe bietet schöne Fotomotive der Skyline, des Löwen und des Marina Bay Hotels.

A very low key tourist spot that offers a stunning night view if you decide for an evening stroll. The sight of the city skyline never fails to amaze me and put me in a state of awe. If you have never been to Singapore, then a view like this should sum up what an urban city Singapore is!

Best time to visit the park is during evening around dusk. Take the MRT to Raffles Place MRT Station. Exit at M exit entrance, turn right and walk towards Battery Road, cross the road and walk towards Fullerton Hotel. Cross the Cavenagh Bridge and explore the park.

I didn't discover anything interesting in this park. You can have a picnic or spend some leisure time here in a piece of grassland, but I'm sure there are many other better locations. The "Glorious Dead" monument seems to be a bit too small. Though it has places for you to sit around and take some walk, it's hard to enjoy yourself here without beautiful scenery or special attractions. Few people do music performance here at the time of my visit. I just walked past it without feeling to want to stay there.

This park has so much history. It is fun to walk under the trees. Enjoy the nature and flowers. See the views of the new, like Merlion and Sky Bridge, but turn around and see the old Parliment and government too. Plus historical landmarks! Can cross Anderson Bridge and come back on Cavenaugh Bridge. Like it! Very clean!

Nice and quiet park which is quite empty but comes to live during weekends when the foreigner workers colonise the park. Be aware of the metallic gate which prevents transit at times

The Esplanade Park is the oldest park in Singapore. There are many historical monuments at the park, including Queen Elizabeth Walk, Cenotaph, Lim Bo Seng Memorial, Former Indian National Army Monument site, Tan Kim Seng Fountain (under restoration) In recent times, it has became a gathering place for the Burmese foreign workers and expatriates during Sundays.

Location for the night time Formula One Grand Prix in Singapore. A fantastic spectacle and a ‘must’ for your “bucket list”.... weather constantly predictable (high temperature, high humidity). Facilities provided exceptional. Toilets, food and drink stalls in plentiful supply. Security staff, helpers etc in abundance. Plan carefully your seating due to corners and views of the action but above all make this event a once in a lifetime experience or if you are extremely lucky an annual event not to be missed on the Formula One calendar.

There is also a big grass field next to it, and every big event will be held here. The scenery along the river is superb. You can walk along the trail to the Golden Sands. Running or walking is good. It is very relaxing. There are also some children's amusement facilities. In addition to leisure sports, you can also bring children. Foremost is the architecture of the surrounding area that captures the interest; Everywhere - wherever you point the camera - you see new angles and motifs worthy of 'perishing' for each self-written own travel photo album. But there are also a lot of fun details in the park, from nicely designed park lights, to small waterfalls and ingeniously planted trees ... The proximity to the open water surfaces also contributes to a sense of harmony. Returned to this place several times (also lived nearby).

Rating is only for the playground there which is perhaps a little underwhelming in terms of the things they can play with. There is however, a big modern take of a roundabout which can sit plenty. The slide seems too steep for little ones and can be baking hot. The public toilet is nice with a Zen touch and comes with a water cooler.

Beautiful art installation of lights, sound and synchronization... as part of iLight Singapore 2019... the Esplanade Park is always a great place to bring your date or loved one... kids can also play at the new playground with actual sand, instead of those rubberized shock absorbers. It is a much brighter park... with trees lit up with lights and walkways are wide and spacious.

Singapore is an amazing city and the beauty comes even more obvious after the sun sets, which is best enjoyed during a walk along the canal system. I can recommend to start the evening with a bite to eat at Clarke's Quay and then walk along the waterfront all the way to Sand's, an unforgettable evening!!

A must try! The iconic ice cream sandwich by ice cream uncle. If you happen to visit Merlion Park, don’t forget to try this ice cream! It costs about $1-$1.5 each. There 2 choices such as waffle and sandwiches with several choices of flavors. But I would recommend the durian flavor wrapped with sandwich, that’s a totally bomb combination!
