Nice place. Good to have a walk & breathe in fresh air. There are wild life such as birds, chicken, fish etc. Birds chipping makes you feel close to nature. Terrain is also relatively flat. Easy jog.

Beautiful huge park and like the idea that it even has a Spa and Restaurants. The stream was nice as well as we can cross over. The pond nearer to the road is rather stagnant and would be great if there was some water movement. Overall its a cool place to chill.

It is now my favourite place to watch and enjoy nature. We love to walk here and scout for birds with my Nikon P1000. I love to tkae videos of the Birds here. At this spot, the entrance car park to Park 1. The few trees here are the favourite spot for the Striated Heron to nest here. It was an amazing experience to watch the Striated Heron nest, incubate and the chicks grow into an adult bird. Quite a spectacle.

Another one of the numerous parks we have around Singapore. Great place to enjoy a walk or some exercise. Check out the flora and fauna. There is also a cafe on this part of the park where you can enjoy some refreshments after your walk or workout.

Good place to go for a walk, picnic, exercise, cycling, rest and recreation. The canal had been converted into a lush green stream that teaming with fishes. You chickens roaming freely in the park. At times, otters come by and play and have their meals (live fishes). There are signboards about wild boars in the park and, possibly, stingrays in the stream. Most visitors visit in the early morning hours or early evening.

A popular park with the locals. There is plenty of open spaces to enjoy nature in the park. The Kallang river that runs along the park used to be a canal built out of concrete but it has since been naturalised. You would not know that the river was man made but would appreciate the greenery around it. There is plenty of opportunities to observe birds and wildlife in the park. If you are patient and observant you would not find it difficult to spot them.

One of our favourite parks in Singapore. Has facilities for kids and dogs. Great playground with a great variety for kids of various ages. There is a nice sand pit which is a rarity nowadays. You can park near to Grub which have more parking lots than the main carpark.

A park the landscape is always changing, flowers are always blooming though we don't have the 4 seasons over here. I always love to visit and stroll enjoying the beauty of the park and taking shots of the sceneries, ponds, people exercising or just enjoying their school breaks

This park has seen so many transformations. From starting as a Chinese graveyard, it has been remodeled into a basic park, and just a few years ago, was given a facelift to become a hotspot for major events and site-seeing. It's a great place to exercise in the morning and have a stroll in the evening. No smoking is allowed and you must pick up after your pets. Neighbourhood and volunteer police authorities patrol the area occasionally at different times of the day for the safety of park attendees and to reduce vandalization of public property. Some amenities available in the park are: - public washrooms - cubicle showers - a sandy playground - a water play area - a restaurant-cafe - a filtered water cooler (not very cold water) - benches - grassy slope access to the small lake and river If you're looking for a dog park, go to Bishan Park 2 just across the main road dividing the parks.

Fun splash park where kids can play with water fountains, sluice gates and water chutes, controlling the water themselves and creating pools and rivers. The perfect way to cool off in Singapore's relentless heat! However, it doesn't offer much shade during peak daytime hours so be sure to cover up or wear plenty of waterproof suncream.

Nice park to take walks or a jog. The half of the park closer to Sin Ming is noticeably quieter than the other half across the road, probably due to the presence of more apartments and the McDonald's.

  • 4/5 Lawrence S. 2 years ago on Google
The park itself is fantastic. But it makes no sense to call it park 1 or park 2. It's ridiculous because they are actually two parks unconnected and divided by Marymount Rd. People planning to meet there get easily confused. The authorities are stubborn and won't listen. Just call one Bishan and the other AMK Park, problem solved.

First time going there to circle. Definitely too crowded. Too many people, bikers and obstacles to avoid. Furthermore, got to cross the busy Marymount intersection to get to the other half of Bishan park. Will be sticking to East Coast Park.

Lovely place for families as well as those wanting to exercise. Ample parking. Lots of chicken running around & even saw some cranes in the trees. Gets a little crowded on weekends, though. The park is large & is divided by a road. Have only been to the side with Grub cafe.

  • 4/5 kevin l. 1 year ago on Google • 5 reviews
This park have variety of trees and greenery, lotus pond and a small garden which is along the kallang river. However, it is close to the road as well so can get some noise if traffic is high. From here able to walk to lower pierce reservoir park.
