A lovely place to spend some time, either alone, with friends or with family. The park is actually quite a long stretch, but we only managed to cover the bit around McDonald's. There's a playground on a sandy stretch just before the sea, there's walking and cycling paths, and even a little wooded marsh area to explore. There's open fields where you can play ball and even fly kites! Perhaps we were there on a public holiday, but there were many people out enjoying the sunny weather. If you go on a weekday, I'm sure it will be quieter, and it's definitely a great place to relax and recharge yourself.

A lovely park with amenities for kids of all ages. Multiple playgrounds, flying foxes and a maccas right there for a nice meal/breakie. Would suggest to go early in the morning to beat the crowd and definitely the heat if u have little young ones. Otherwise an amazing place for kids and adults alike. Haven’t tried the water yet but will do so the next time.

Good place for family's outing. Plentiful of playground suitable for young to older kids. Has a Very big field for kite flying. Can enjoy the morning or evening walk as the landscape is beautiful, especially the trees. Honestly, night strolling after dinner is nice too. You will surprised to see many children still playing at the playground before 8.30pm. There's a beach volleyball court and camping ground. If you're feeling hungry, there's a 24hrs Macdonald. Along the coast line, you can enjoy different scenery.

It's a beautiful park by the coast. A perfect park for an entire family. At one end of the park they have a bikes for hire, and as the park is filled with trees and the path is smooth, the ride around the path is pleasant. The bike paths aren't too busy too so it's a very easy ride, especially for those who want to get back to biking after ages. The park, however, is busy closer the play structures. Lots of families with kids were seen over the weekend. the play structures are so beautifully designed and sectioned away based on age. Playground floors are either rubberized or sanded. Play structures are well maintained too. Restrooms are close by, are so is a vending machine and McDonald's. The park has also space for flying kites, so thats another thing to do. There are exercise contraption for elders to work out too. Overall a beautiful park to spend the day outdoors with family. Carrying lots of water is highly advisable to keep yourself hydrated. Highly recommend.

Came by for a walk and to clock steps on a Sunday afternoon since we haven’t been here for awhile now. 🚶🏻‍♀️ 🚶🏻‍♂️ was a pretty short walk from end to end overall, with multiple picnic goers spotted, especially near the coast where you can see yacht and small ferries docking by the marina. There’s also a bike rental shop at the end of the park, for those looking to get on two wheels 🚴 MacDonald is definitely the go to after a hot day in the park, for either drinks or ice cream treat 😊

West Coast Park Boat Berth When the Southern west Islands were earmarked for redevelopment, the inhabitants were relocated to the Main Island. Many of them relocated to West Coast, just across their former homes. They would gather at West Coast Park, which at that time was without the Seawall yet, to chat, to go fishing with Bubu Traps that they made themselves. They would, as always, return with their catch and sell them. As their HDB flats were small in comparison, they keep their fishing gears at the makeshift shacks and berth their boats at West Coast Park. Many of them, seniors by now, treasured their islander's lifestyle and still hold fond memories. Their boats and makeshift shacks are still around at West Coast Park, next to the Lookout Deck.

Each round is about 5km. Ran 2 rounds and had enjoyed the sea breeze and trees shielding me from the scorching sun. Wonderful place to bring family for picnic, cycling, strolling, fishing, bird sighting etc. There's also a McDonald at carpark 3!

If you have a kid, don’t miss to visit this amazing big park. So much to offer, from plenty of play structures to explore. Our favorite was the flying fox as not every outdoor playground has it. There’s a sandpit area as well that offers tons of fun and imagination for your little ones. And the park is a pram friendly walk, just like most of the places here in Singapore. And if you feel hungry, there’s a McDonalds nearby. Definitely will come back again and will try to be as early as possible! Because it’s starting to get busy as early as 10am. Just love the place! Perfect for the family weekend.

View of the sea, fishing boats and ships from the promenade, sea life like turtles and fish swimming in the river viewed from Marsh garden, playground for kids, open spaces for kite flying and games, MacD, ample parking, beautiful trees, flowers and fauna and a small lake, Dog run park. What more do you want ? For a different review, I also share my experience 🏃 from West Coast Park to Labrador MRT almost entirely linked by park connectors. About 6-6.5km one way depending whether you explore Marsh Gardens. West Coast Park (near MacDonalds) ➡️ Exit @West Coast Park Dog Run to Harbour Drive➡️ New Park Connector parallel to West Coast Highway➡️Pasir Panjang Park ➡️ Exit near Shopback Campus➡️Pasir Panjang Road➡️ Labrador Park MRT.

It has been ages since I went to West Coast Park so I decided to drop by for some "mind relaxing" moments. After eating at the mcdonald, we had a short walk in the park. The sand playground is a bonus as its very rare to see sand playground nowadays. And it also had a swing.I remember when I was a kid, I like to sit on the swing and its also rare to see swings(the olden-type of swings)nowadays.Had some fun and then we sat on a bench and enjoyed some peaceful moments.Manage to take some photos in the dark.😬

It's a very big and beautiful park, with a smell of freshness all around. I enjoyed every minute walking around and seeing all the beautiful wild life and plants. It has everything you need from a park: bicycle station, toilets, fountains and a small lake in the middle where you can relax and admire it from the benches. There are plenty people jogging and riding bikes all around and I will, for sure, visit it again next time.

A nice park with facilites for families and people who just want to chill out or exercise. There is a dog park, children play ground, exercise stations, landscaping and even a Macdonald with Drive through. Great location to see Sunset on the beach.

There are some renovation going on, but overall is enjoyable. Typical Singapore weather... hot, but the Macdonald within the park serve well to cool us down after a bicycle ride. The only complaint my children have is... 'the park have no Air-conditioning'.

West Coast Park is a good place for a jog or leisure walk especially quiet in the weekdays morning. Weekends tend to be busy with parents and kids coming here for the wide variety of playground activities.

Good spread of activities although few dining choices. There is a McDonald's in the park near the children's playground. Not as many slides as one would find in Admiralty or the newer playgrounds but the variety is still good and offers a different experience. The park is a long stretch with a big field for sports and a boardwalk which offers nature lovers some respite.

My first visit to WCP. It has a marsh garden, beach ball pitch, kites flying zone and camping 🏕 site. It quite big and I only covered the area near to McDonald’s. There are a few playgrounds for the young ones. Also the nice place for cycling 🚴‍♂️. It seems this park has many canon ball trees.

Tucked away in a quieter corner of Singapore and right where a Macdonald & Drive Thru are 👍🏻 I went on a weekday morning - it was quite serene, with only sporadic park goers and one Tai Ji group. It was low-tide so I reckon the coastal views at high tide would look more amazing. But with the low tide, i caught some otters swimming, there were plenty of squirrels running up & down trees, caught sight of a hornbill flying across; very enjoyable morning spotting wildlife & nature! The park is clean, with toilets & plenty of dustbins. There are mozzies at some areas, but a mozzie patch would do. My dog enjoyed an hour's walk and a run on the big field. Parking lots are ample and if you're up for it on weekdays, you could walk over to RSYC for their delicious & affordable lunches! (Only available to non-members on weekdays)

Recently joined a kite festival event at the West Coast Park and it was truly an immense experience. Overall the park is very open and you can spend peaceful and quality time here with your friends and families. You can bring your own food as well.

West coast park is situated along the coastline southwest of Singapore. It has large play area for toddlers, kids and a open field. One can camp here with prior permission. Lanes for walking, cycling, places for get together, camping, walk in marshlands, fishing area, can watch sunset here. Lot of parking spaces for cars. McDonald's available, Few vantage points built along coast. Lot of areas to walk. Overall a complete wonderful relaxing experience.

It's a nice place to spend your leisure time at West Coast Park. Can visit there with friends and family, or you can do solo travel . Can do a picnic there. Can do cycling, exercises. The children park area is excellent. Lots of playing equipment and structures for all aged children. Also, there are Eateries like McDonald's. The food and atmosphere of that McDonald's are too good. You can enjoy the natural beauty by sitting in the seaside. Can take pictures. It's more a place for rest and comfort in the natural breeze and beauty.

Although I live in the west and it's just a 5 mins bus ride to West Coast Park, it's not my go-to park especially at night. The beach is inaccessible to public and it's too close to industrial buildings. Because of its past reputation of being almost vacant and haunted, this place still gives me the creeps. It is a much better place than it was 20 years ago as there are more residents living near the area, but I still prefer East Coast Park.

A breezy park for great walk and family outing. Beautiful harbour views captured with my handphone and a family enjoying cycling along the paths. Everywhere are the big trees shading with natural feelings!

Fun activities for whole family. Can play in big playground including sandbox, giant climbing area, zip line, can fly kites, fish, go cycling, jogging or just have a fun picnic in d green grass with plenty of shade. If hungry got mac donald including a mac cafe in the part itself.

Good place to have a picnic with the family. Many groups made use of the playing field. Yet there's ample room for people to do light exercises and walks. You may catch the otters in the waters...

Amazing park at the west coast of Singapore. Key attractions are beach volleyball courts, baseball fields, camping sites and the cycling trails. It's a good place to spend the weekend with family.

This is a place where parents can share quality time with their families. There are so many facilities for kids and adults to enjoy together. So much open space for the kids to run freely. There is also a boardwalk that parents can bring kids along and explain to kids how mangrove swamps are all over Singapore coast and there are so much creatures living in those swamp. There is also a small jetting for fishing too. This is a place for wholesome activities. Camping and BBQ facilities are available too. Last but not least there is a MacDonald in the park.

  • 4/5 Muhammad H. 3 years ago on Google
Very calm and peaceful. Done expect a beach here (like East Coast has) but much greener. Kids play are is also very nice with lots of sand area to play aswell. Bicycle rates are bit expensive as compared to East Coast but more variety of family rides. It can be maintained better but overall worth a visit.

Beautiful park for a walk. Many kids playgrounds. Well maintained. Great for a cycle too. Campsites are on a hill with a flatish top so if you are lucky you get a flat site or you'll be sleeping on a slope.

When you reach the park, your view of the sea is marred by unused rigs and dingy boats. The foul stale smell of rotting organic matter at the beach does not help elevate your sense further. Coupled with the short beach front, this is really the poorer cousin of East Coast Park. Definitely not the park to go unless necessary.

  • 5/5 Nur F. 3 years ago on Google
Great open space with different play areas for kids to play. Ample grass space for picnic.. Even an area where people fly kites! Definitely a family place! Kids will surely love it here.. There's McDonalds at the park itself but it might be crowded during peak hours.. You can always order take-aways and have your own picnic at the park. 😊

As we said in Chinese idiom, the sparrow may be small but all its vital organs are there (麻雀雖小,五臟俱全). This park has everything squashed together into this 2 to 3km long stretch in the West, compared to its much bigger brother in the East. Exercise pits? Check. McDonald's? Check. Birdwatching? Check. Cycling/jogging path? Check. Yachts or shipping tankers with noise, light and diesel pollution? Check. One thing it does not have is sandy beaches so don't be disappointed if you later find out you can't do skinny dips at this park. 😜

West Coast Park is, well, a park. The best thing about it is that it is the place-of-choice for many beautiful families — some, three-generational — that spend their time in every way that a park could possibly afford, such as, picnicking, cycling, frisbee-ing; you name it, and you'll find it there. For all these, the park gets my 5-star rating.

Compared to East Coast park, West Coast Park has more playgrounds (eg sandboxes, ziplines etc) for your enjoyment. Park is much smaller but still a rather nice place to have a picnic with family and friends. It can get pretty hot during noon, would suggest dropping by during the early mornings or late-mid afternoon. There is also a McDonald fast-food chain nearby for your fast-food cravings.

The seaside park in the west is much smaller than the east coast one. Although there are playgrounds, the planning is rather chaotic. There are not many places to eat around, McDonald's is one of them. Many children are learning roller skating. If you get there by bus, there will be many large trucks on the road and you need to pay attention to your safety. In comparison, I still prefer East Coast Park.

A nice cosy park in the west side of Singapore, you can come here to chill and stroll with family and friends. This park is clean and well maintained, pavements are suitable for running, cycling, skateboarding and all sorts of activities. The beach is located towards the western stretch where you can appreciate the urban landscape of nearby industrial structures and yachts some distance away.

One of my kids' favourite park. Ample space for bicycle riding with big trees that provide shades from hot son. Several big sandy playgrounds and flying fox to kill time. The McDonald's is also nicely located at the carpark area. Would be nicer if there are more shelters and benches around.

Large space for kids and adults to have fun. The highlight is probably the spider web climb to the top (about 3 storeys high) with 2 slides in the middle, and also the 4 flying fox lanes that can allow you to slide from one end to the other, suspended on a metal cable, sitted on a rubber seat. Has a nice beach and sandy areas for play. Many kite flyers on a windy day too. Only place to eat is a McDonald’s there at the park with even a drive thru.

A park with big play areas and nice playgrounds for families with small children/s. If you are lucky.. can catch the beautiful sight of sunset by the breakwater overlooking the yatchclub and port.

In land scarce Singapore, I do appreciate the fact that we have allocated some space to have outdoor recreational activities. It's certainly not East Coast Beach but hey, for anyone else like me who stays in the western part of Singapore, I am grateful that West Coast Park is an option. Certain areas within the park are cordoned off(social distancing measures) but I am sure this will be lifted once when the situation improves. Bring a kite, cold drinks and propped up a chair or 2. It's good to be out in the open with the family.

big patch of grass for picnic and sports, beach volleyball/ tennis or even cycle around the park. alternatively, can sit and chill while looking at the water, sunset and ferries. there’s also a huge playground for the kids. just a great place for families and friends all day.

Lovely park. Love the raintrees and cycling routes here. There is actually an underpass that connects to the other side of the park. Would come back to enjoy the scenery, serenity and nature.

Nice place for picnic 🧺 there are many people in the park too (jogging, having a picnic, playing soccer, beach volleyball etc). Come here to catch a nice sunset!! Easily accessible from Clementi interchange (bus 175). Macs can get a little crowded.

One of our favorite park for bring my son and pet to play and spend time on weekend! They will have may others kids so they will playing each other and interaction. Just the women toilet a bit dirty and smelly (yeah understand for outdoor toilet). You need bring some beach mat and pack your food and will be more fun!

Great place for families on weekends, with multiple children playgrounds catered for different age groups. A camping site and a huge field for family activities! There are public toilets available in the central area of the park and a mac Donald's which offers drive thru. .. Coast or beach is not really suitable for swimming due to hygiene, cleanliness and environment. Swim at own risk. Could be improved.

Nice park with nature and in front of the beach. Lots of playgrounds (around 4). But a little bit more for small kids. Bigger ones risk to be annoyed... there's a mc do inside the park too.

Nicely maintained park with marsh garden and also kite flying area. A good trip would start with Mac, and then exploring the greens with also occasional kite watching. Easy parking and usually peaceful to be there, compared to East Coast park.

It's a nice place to go for a walk or run. In the evenings you can catch beautiful sunsets. Good place to Cycle or Rollerblade. There's place to fly kite or play volley balls. There's Dog run at the end of the park.

Not crowded when visited on 21 July 2023. A fairly linear park, not unlike East Coast Park. A pity that the park does not have much views of the sea, with Pasir Panjang Port and a marina in the way. The sounds of trailers buzzing by and also from port operations means you can't experience peace and quiet in certain areas of the park.

Big park that can accommodate all kinds of interests. I have seen kids, family, couples, runners, meditators, hikers, to be photographers etc etc. a place for everyone. Enjoy the sunset here if the clear sky allows to. I felt the manual constructions of ports and terminals are hinders to natural view. Lot of options for kids to play. Beach volleyball, kite flying place is available. There is also a dedicated place for setting up tents.
