There
are
several
trails
of
varying
distance
that
you
can
do,
of
which
the
boardwalk
is
the
easiest.
Depending
on
the
trail,
the
walk
can
take
from
an
hour
to
several
hours.
There
are
fewer
people
on
weekdays
but
can
get
very
crowded
on
weekends.
It
is
linked
to
the
treetop
walk
but
the
treetop
walk
only
opens
at
9am
and
is
one-way,
so
do
note
that
you
can’t
turn
back
but
to
complete
the
trail
by
moving
forward
only.
The
park
is
also
connected
to
Bukit
Timah
Nature
Reserve
as
well
but
I
haven’t
had
a
chance
to
try
that
trail
yet.
You
may
want
to
note
that
there
are
monkeys
around
and
its
population
seemed
to
have
increased
over
the
years.
If
you
do
encounter
them
in
big
groups,
just
walk
on
normally
and
ignore
them
and
all
will
be
good.
Do
not
try
to
take
photos
of
them
as
I
had
seen
them
turning
aggressive
when
people
do.
Other
animals
that
you
may
spot
on
a
walk
there...
monitor
lizards,
otters,
the
occasional
snake
and
occasional
pangolin,
fishes
etc...
you
just
need
to
keep
your
eyes
open
:)
In
a
nutshell,
a
beautiful
place
for
walks,
served
by
a
relatively
huge
car
park,
a
cafe
and
a
bistro.
And
as
with
most
nature
reserves,
there
are
actually
not
many
areas
that
you
can
get
shelter
if
it
rains,
so
bring
an
umbrella/poncho
as
it
may
come
in
handy!
(If
you
are
into
fishing,
do
note
that
you
may
only
do
so
at
designated
areas.)
