One of my favourite parks. For first timer, go for the easier trail, ie to the Singapore Quarry. Approx 2.5km (30mins walk) to and fro Car Park A/ Hillview MRT and Singapore Quarry. On your way back to car park/Hillview MRT, there is a path leading to Rail Mall via Fuyong interim playground. This path is 600m from the quarry. You can get your breakfast/tea at Springleaf prata / Nam Kee Pau / Subway / Toastbox / Eat / Sunnychoice vegetarian cafe / cat cafe, etc there. For those looking for a laid back vibe, head to Wallace Trail. For those looking for a more challenging hike, try Dairy Farm Loop. NParks classified it as a difficult trail. It is indeed difficult for me due to its steep and seemingly endless steps. Personally, I think it is more challenging than Bukit Timah Nature Reserve steep steps. Approx 4km if you were to start from Hillview station, head towards Wallace Trail, up to North View Hut via Dairy Farm Loop (Upper) to the summit and down to Bukit Timah Reserve Visitor Centre. Took me approx 1.5hr to complete the walk. You can head to Cheong Chin Nam Road / Beauty World Level 4 food centre / Bukit Timah Food Centre for Makan after the walk.

This park is easy to get to, the entrance is next to Hillview MRT station exit A. The park is of a reasonable size and if you take the Dairy Farm trail, it will take about 1.5 hours to cover 6.5 km. The park has comfortable trails, stairs and lots of nature and quarries. Do drop by Singapore Quarry to see the beautiful pond and ecosystem there.

Nice trail. Well done to keep some old structures in original condition. The visitor gallery exhibits need some improvement. Should allow that White House to be opened for visitors.

07 Dec 2022: Challenging time at Wallace Trail and go at your own pace to enjoy the rugged trail. 22 Nov 2021: Nice place for hiking...couple of slopes, fresh air, quiet and peaceful Monday morning. Wallace Trail is challenging and it's a little muddy plus slippery today. Plenty of wildlife to look for...squirrels, monkeys and monitor lizards.

Nice park to walk around. Lots of families bringing their kids out for a walk. Do check if the summit is open as it seems to be closed for now due to landslide. Overall good experience. Hopefully the next time we come the summit is open again.

This nature park is link to Bukit Timah Nature Park. There are 2 routes for you to reach Bukit Timah Nature Park. You can see wild boar, coluga and also various insects over here. Quite crowded during weekend. It is a bit far from the Hillview MRT station though. There are mountain bike track here as well.

Lovely walk and not difficult at all. Follow the paths and it will bring you to the quarry. You can choose to move on to another bigger quarry or head back. There are many little choices to make depending on how much distance you want to cover. We took about 10k steps (skipped the second quarry)

Fantastic Nature Park - The Wallace Trail was a nice hike, lots of information if you fancy stopping ocassionally to take a loo. It's a shame that the link to Bukit Timah remains closed due to conditions along the route. The alternative current route all the way around via the Wallace Trail, Quarry and Rail Corridor (part of the Green Corridor) was fun to explore though!

From Hillview MRT station Exit A walked up bit will be in front of Dairy Farm Outdoor Adventure Learning Centre turn left to Dairy Farm Nature Park. Turn right to Singapore Quarry. Have attached photos. Didn't try the Wallace Trail. There's a Wallace Education Centre which transformed from a cowshed. Can learned the history of Dairy Farm Nature Park from here. It is a permanent exhibition of biogeography and biodiversity in the region. It's also named after famous English naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace who contributed to the development of natural science and used to study the natural history of the Malay Archipelago in the 1800s. An interactive exhibits with information about insects and wildlife in the area. There are also 3D models, a video game, a trick-eye wall. The Dairy Farm Quarry is around 700m from the starting point and it takes me about 15mins walk to reach. Dairy Farm Quarry is unlike most other quarries you find in Singapore. While most quarries are turned into lakes, this one is filled up with earth after its granite quarrying operations stopped.

Brought my wife here for a morning stroll during the weekends as we have yet to explore this place. This place is teeming with wildlife for nature lovers. A very interesting place to enjoy and spend time with friends and family members with footpath and even mountain bike trails for enthusiast. We took the Wallace trail and walk towards the Singapore Quarry.

Good trekking along a mix of paved roads and dirt tracks. The main drawback is the insufficient road signs. Links all the way to Bukit Timah.

Dairy Farm Nature Park is easy to go after the Downtown MRT opened. The Hillview MRT exit is next to the park entrance. The path is flat and easy to walk. The Singapore quarry is at one end of the path and has beautiful view.

Awesome park as a whole. Highlight is the Bukit Timah Summit, which is the highest peak in Singapore. The view isnt fantastic but its a sheer highlight of hikers locally and you enjoy the cool breeze and sheer interactions with passers by. Feel free to interact with strangers as you climb, with the first 500m that is the steepest climb at close to 60-70 deg gradient. Not for the unfit but certainly, if you rest at every 10 steps. U will reach the peak in 35mins for the fit and 1.5 hours for the less fit.

Dairy farm nature park is a nice park that connects to chestnut nature park, rifle range nature park and bukit timah nature reserve...lots of stairs for those training for Mount Kinabalu or slopes for those who wants to do steep hikes. Dairy farm loop is a trail hike that has endless stairs to conquer, which gives you a good workout... By the way, the dairy farm carpark had complimentary parking between 0630 - 0830am.

Very challenging slopes but really enjoyed our hike. Trees were tall and shadowing the path which gives us the "twilight feels". Makes us forget we were on a highly urbanized city because the place was really like a jungle.

One of the best places to get your nature fix in Singapore. Great outdoor exercise opportunities including hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing, as well as wonderful opportunities to see wildlife. Also several quiet spots that could work for outdoor meditation. Overall an amazing place to escape the urban jungle of Singapore.

Rifle Range Nature Park
Park
👍 Visited the recently open park. It's really nice medium size park with a variety of walking paths. It's elevated planks path at the beginning, the dirt road after the view point into wooded area. Monkeys hanging around the elevated plank path in the morning. Nice view from the view point area....
