Located at the extreme north of Singapore lie Sembawang Park and its beach. It is quiet and tranquil here on weekdays. There are people who go fishing, swimming, kayaking, jogging, cycling or just having a family picnic here. There is a public toilet with shower facilities near the beach too. There are many BBQ pits with tables and seats as well. The water at the beach is very clean and clear during high tide and you can see many small fishes at the jetty. You can get there by bus 882 from the bus stop opposite of the Sembawang mrt station.

Early bird? Can’t sleep? Insomnia? Go take a walk at the park in the morning. Embrace the sunlight, immerse in the nature, sharpen your senses, enjoy the walk.

It's a nice lil' escape from the buzz around the residential area. There are many public loos and water fountains around, though perhaps because its a tad isolated than the usual parks, the upkeep on the sanitation side leaves much to be desired. It's nice that there are outdoor showers, so you can rinse off after some outdoorsy activities or a paddle off the beach. The beach is a good push off for SUP enthusiasts and for kayaking or canoes. Which is what I did, and we got to venture to the Mangroves about. A nice setting indeed. I recommend packing an " S " hook with you when you have a planned activity or you won't have anywhere clean or dry to hang your stuff in the loos. A nice clean park otherwise, and apart from the Sunday dance crowds, it's a nice reprieve.

Playground, beach, sheltered area for picnic/bbq and track for cycling or running. There is also a Chinese restaurant located within the park itself. The beach water was somewhat the dirtiest water in the whole Singapore, not recommended for kids to swim etc. well, plenty of people do fishing activities there or at the jetty though! Good to enjoy the scenery and build some sand castles too.

My husband and I enjoyed our walk very much at this quiet and lovely park. It was not that far from city as we imagined. Will visit the restaurant soon.

Very nice park that can get a little crowded on weekends. The view is very good and neighboring Malaysia can be seen from here. There is also a beach with sand so children can play here as well. Barbecue pits are available and it is quite windy during the evenings so it is suitable for a picnic. At night, the park is not well-lit. There are only a few toilets in this park, however.

For those who is living in northern part of Singapore, Sembawang Park is the perfect place to bring my family to a picnic by the beach. Bring along your food, floor mat, spare cloths, & sand castle to make it a picnic to be remembered. If you are taking public transport, you can reach Sembawang park via bus service 882 from Sembawang interchange.. If you are hungry, do drop by the food stalls located near the junction of Sembawang Road & Admiralty Road West..

Sembawang Park is quite a big park by Singapore standard but walking is easy even for seniors like me (75) as the ground is quite flat. The tall trees provide excellent shade. There are two car parks and they're free for park visitors. There are play grounds for the young and cycling is allowed. BB pits are closed 😢 due to the COVID-19. Seats are dotted throughout the park with two modern toilets 🚻 for visitors. There's a small beach and a short jetty. My wife and I love the beautiful Beaulieu House 🏠, now an operating restaurant. Recommended for the young and old and best in the morning and evening.

Sembawang Park is a tranquil oasis that effortlessly marries natural beauty with recreational amenities, creating an idyllic escape from the urban bustle. Nestled along the northern coast of Singapore, this park offers a serene respite for nature enthusiasts and families alike. The park's lush greenery and well-maintained walking trails provide a refreshing retreat for those seeking a leisurely stroll or a peaceful jog. Overlooking the Johor Strait, the scenic views of the sea and distant ships add a touch of maritime charm to the landscape. The expansive open spaces make it an ideal spot for picnics, where families can gather for a day of relaxation amidst the soothing sounds of nature. Sembawang Park's historical significance further enhances its allure. The Beaulieu House, a colonial-era gem within the park, adds a touch of nostalgia and architectural splendor. The maritime-themed playgrounds and fitness corners cater to visitors of all ages, promoting a sense of community and well-being. The park's cleanliness and well-kept facilities, including barbecue pits and fishing areas, contribute to a delightful experience. Whether one seeks solitude by the sea or a vibrant day out with loved ones, Sembawang Park stands as a testament to Singapore's commitment to preserving natural spaces for the enjoyment of its residents and visitors.

It's a really beautiful place with a beautiful scenery, except rated 4 stars thanks to the smokers and it's kinda scary to say anything regarding smoking there due to their type of people. However, if there were to be stricter measures regarding the smokers, I believe that others would be really2 glad since it's a park, not a smoking corner 😉

Medium sized park in the northern part of Singapore. In the park near the beach area is a historical building that is repurposed as restaurant in present day. Exercise area (with pull up bars), jetty for fishing, BBQ pits, dog run, playground are available. Visitors could take a stroll along the beach line towards east direction park connector to the landed property area and that would make a good 6-7km jogging track.

Sembawang Park is a great oceanside park. Entering the park, a slight breeze rustles the leaves making them fall to the solid ground one by one. Slowly the wind picks up as time passes and soon there are strong gusts of wind from the sea breeze. Sitting at the corner of the park you can also spot the harbour and many ships as they pass by and the sunsets in the background. In the past itself, there are families having barbecues while children run around and play at the playground. Squeals of laughter come from there. The leaves rustle as night falls and crickets and bullfrogs come out. Soon there are loud insect sounds and dim lights that keep the atmosphere nice and warm. There is also a restaurant nearby which you can go to if your craving some Chinese or even western food, the food there is also to die for. It is also not too crowded, so its a great place if you want some peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of Singapore, especially after work is it is a great place to just enjoy the cool, gentle breeze, and nice atmosphere. Would definitely come here again, it is really great and nice place to hang out with friends or even family.

A nice all rounded park. Good for jogging, strolling, big sand playground for children, fitness corner, alot of green spaces for picnic and recently also added a dog park which seems quite well received. There is even a restaurant within the park if you are hungry. I wonder why there isn't more restaurants or eateries there. Coast area is nice during late afternoon time. The only downside is the beach and waters which are not clean.

Sembawang Park which is on the northern park of Singapore where it house the colonial house and estate where this place was formerly used by the British military. Weekend is quite crowded and there is a beach area where people can go down to the beach to play. Further to the right of the park you can actually walk into a private estate where you can see those landed house is facing seaside view.

It is a nice and peaceful place full of greenery and a great place to spend the weekends relaxing. They have shelters which is very convenient espcially when raining. You can even stroll on the beaches to look at the beautiful scenery. Nice place to go for a stroll, excercise or jog. They have a place for us to excersise, a playground to play at and BBQ pit for friends and families gathering. The park is very scenic and refreshing. VERY RECOMMENDED.

A relaxing park with a little beach and fishing jetty! Two washrooms are available there to wash your feet after. It features a dog park, a playground and a fitness corner near the middle for recreation activities. There are two carpark (Carpark 1 and 2), Carpark 1 is further to the end and Carpark 2 is at the entrance of the park coming from Sembawang Rd. Wonderful place to jog around in the morning!

Sembawang beach cannot be compared to East Coast Park and offers a different kind of feel.... More raw, peaceful (less crowded) .it does not have an eatery except for a Chinese restaurant in a B&W old colonial house. The beach is also quite of messy and raw.... Not as clean as EC park. Nice place to just chill in a lazy afternoon and letting kids dig holes in the sand and play by the beach...simple fun instead of staring at their tablet....time to sweat it out. 💦 I do see that this place will have more stuff once the shipyard is moved but that will probably be another good 10 years. In the mean time, just bring along some snacks, a mat and chill.

Sembawang Park is a really great place that should be visited! It has a playground, nice exercise corner (watch video), cozy and quiet seats and beach. The beach should be mentioned separately, it's not so clean, but good enough, however there is great infrastructure, including barbecue, showers, changing rooms. Personally I enjoyed this park!

A quiet little place for all to visit. There is an eatery at Beaulieu House which I did not manage to try. You can catch a glimpse of Malaysia’s Lagoon residences at the beach. The waters are clear, the place is clean and you have some people swimming, sitting in the shelters, strolling. I would have given a 5 for the place, but the place is simply too small. Would prefer a bigger park. Overall a nice place

Sembawang Park is a small park facing JB, and next to the dry dock in Sembawang. It doesn't look great at the jetty area there although still full of people. There is a restaurant in a historical building near the sea side which is a beautiful building. However, the inner part of the park is great with a big piece of grass for people to outing. It's a nice park as long as you drive as it's a bit far from the MRT station.

Sembawang Park has this really solid playground for kids. But it's more suitable for kids aged 7 or 8 onwards. Anything below, they can only play with the sand and perhaps the swing. Walking by the beach can be pretty relaxing too as the location is quite peaceful with easy access to parking. The best part of the park, the playground.

Used to think this park did not have a beach. Used to head left towards the teeny, weeny little beach from the road after getting off the bus or from the carpark. But there is actually a nice little done-up park, a nice manicured lawn and a much bigger beach (yes, a beach!!) there if you head to your right instead... (of course, cannot compare to those in ECP... but, nice enuff...)

  • 1/5 L T K. 3 years ago on Google
It's a nice little park. Only issue is the shower facility near carpark 1 is too basic(public toilet). For the ladies, the shower facility in open spaces simply won't work, in fact a complete waste of tax payers $$. There's no shower facility in the toilet in the middle of the park (public bathroom #2). Shower facilities are for the beach activities nearby, hopefully proper allocation of funds can be done.

Love it. Car park 1 is nearer the beach. Car park 2 is nearer the dog run. Restaurant opens only from 5.30pm so no cafe there. Great park for walking around, not much flat ground for children to play ball but lots of beautiful ups and downs. The water looks really not very clean though... Hahaha but sand on the beach looks fine.

It's a nice small, quick to go family beach and park. The park is big with lavish green grass and few barbecue pits. Many shelters. It's good for family outing. Don't have high expectations on the beach. Sometimes there are mosquitos and good to keep a repellent all time. Suddenly rains and also have a umbrella handy.

  • 4/5 Ritu R. 2 years ago on Google
Started my Sunday morning at 6am with walk to Sembawang park. Most of the path is nice with a wide PCN but certain places it is narrow if you are going there from Sembawang or Admiralty . Beach not too clean with some construction going on. But overall it is a nice walk.

  • 5/5 Divyanshu M. 3 years ago on Google
True to its history, the park has ties to its naval park with the battleship scaffold inspired playground, its close to the shipyard, Beaulieu house (neoclassical British era heritage building) and a beach (one of the last natural ones). The sunrise is a definite must do! There is even a dedicated dog park. A lot of birds and interesting trees to explore. There is a jetty filled with people fishing as well as enjoying the sea breeze. It’s a great place for picnic and family get-together and convenient to arrive by public transport.

  • 4/5 Skye 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful park that's been around for decades. Lovely old trees, really cool playground for kids and even a small beach to relax around. I wouldn't swim in it though, water looked brackish. Beaulieu House still stands with a very quaint western and Chinese menu. 4 stars because beach is closed till Sep 21 for maintenance and too many anglers taking up space. Also spotted several people smoking despite being a smoke free park 😩.

Was there to enjoy with family including toddlers. Beach is not huge so best to go when it's less crowded. Might not be one of the best place to swim cause of dark water. Easily accessible by bus 882 from Sembawang MRT/Interchange. Recommended for northie folks.

There are 2 carparks. Head straight to carpark 1 for easier access to the beach. Carpark 1 is closer to the green spaces. Not advisable to walk barefooted on the beach due to the risk of stepping on glass fragments. The F&B establishment at Beaulieu House doesn't operate all day. According to the signage, it is open from 11am-2.30pm and 5.30-10.30pm.

Beautiful place to be. Saw a east Asian man picking oysters and mussels at the foot of the Jetty at low tide. Good catch. Another Man packing up as his gushing ride and fish hooks was too big fit low tide fishing where small dishes abound. Good place for a leisure walk in the park early in the morning or late evening. There is a food outlet that offers good at restaurant prices. Was closed in the morning.

This park is truly a gem located near the seaside. I love coming here for my morning jog and taking in the refreshing sea breeze. The natural setting of the park is simply stunning. One of the things that I appreciate about this park is its spaciousness. Even during busy times, there's plenty of room to move around and enjoy the park's amenities without feeling crowded or cramped. The paths are wide and well-maintained, making it easy to navigate through the park, and there are plenty of benches and seating areas for people to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. In addition to jogging, there are many other activities that can be enjoyed here. There are also playgrounds for children, making this a great place for families to visit. Whether you're looking for a peaceful place to exercise or simply want to relax and take in the scenery, this park has something to offer for everyone.

I recently visited a Sembawang park and had a wonderful experience. The park was well-maintained and had plenty of amenities for visitors to enjoy. The BBQ pits were clean and in good working condition, making it easy for us to cook our food. There were also picnic tables and benches available for us to sit and eat our meal. One thing that impressed me about the park was the beautiful surroundings. The park was surrounded by lush greenery and had a peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal with friends and family. The park also had a playground for children to play on. This was a great addition as it kept the kids entertained . The playground equipment was safe and well-maintained, ensuring that the children had fun. Overall, my experience at the park was fantastic. The well-maintained facilities, beautiful surroundings, and amenities provided made it a great place to spend time with loved ones. I would highly recommend visiting this park for a fun and enjoyable BBQ experience.

Very.nice place to walk around, there's a beach where kids can play, and a nice view where Johor Bahru is opposite. A lot of cute dogs too for animal lovers. There's a very big space just for dog owners to bring their dogs to play. You can cycle, walk, run here! There's also a big sand playground for kids of most ages to play in. Very relaxing atmosphere. There are also BBQ pits. Very nice and cooling place to have picnics and play. But there's not alot of food choices here but there's good places to go around Sembawang Park like Mr Uncle(Indian food). For me, I love the sand theme and the best thing, there is a lot of plants and trees! Summary : There is a mini garden...a mini house for dogs...and a huge playground for kids!!
