I can say that the view is super awesome from this area! You can see from the marina barrage, garden by the bay, marina bay sands, F1 circuit to Kallang River. Wheater day or night the view is amazing!😍

It was pack with cyclist and jogger on Saturday morning. Suggest you park your car nearby and walk all the way to Marina Barrage. It is about 2km 1 way and you can enjoy the scenery of Garden by the Bay, Marina Bay and F1 Paddock.

What a lovely place to be at. Rent a bike or bring yours. You can trip from MBS towards marina barrage through gardens by the bay and connect to bay East garden. Me and wife thoroughly enjoyed it. A part of area is under maintenance since 2018 Feb but that still leaves you with a lot of track to cover. Picked on anywheel bike to ride through. Loved it overall and best to keep a bottle of water with yourself to rehydrate. Enjoy the scenic aquatic ponds with maybe a chance to come across some wildlife too. Definitely going for this track again!

Scenic view of the Bay Area, MBS, the financial hub, gardens by the bay. Great place to take a stroll or cycle from the east to south of Singapore. Great place to catch fireworks too!

Good place to have picnics with family and friends. Managed to see some performance such flag fly pass, acrobat planes display and fireworks during the National Day celebrations on 9 August 2023 below the flyover that acted as shades under the hot sun. Garbage bin provided within the premises and security patrol sighted.

Cycled along EC park from Bedok (entrance) to Gardens by the Bay (Bay East). The cycle there was pretty easy as it was flat ground most of the way, but the park was rather crowded due to the school holidays. Got to be really careful as there were many children cycling and making sudden stops on the cycling track. Getting a place to sit down for a meal proved very challenging with long waits at most of the eateries there. That aside, overall it was a pretty good and easy ride to GBTB and back. Remember a hat/cap, sunblock and water for your trip there!

This is one of my favourite places to go for a walk which is by the marina barrage area. The gardens by the bay on the east side is quite a scenic place. The garden is lovely with a lot of interesting plants as well as turtles, otter, monitor lizards can be seen here etc. Its a place where people love to hang out and go for a jog, run or a bike ride.

The quieter, more serene counterpart to the main Gardens by the Bay, Bay East holds arguably the most beautiful view of the Singapore skyline, complete with the Singapore Flyer, Flower Domes, and Marina Bay Sands. As the clock struck midnight on New Year's Eve 2023, I was able to capture the fireworks lighting up the said skyline in spectacular beauty.

a sweet garden in Singapore, right opposite the more famous Gardens by the Bay. more precisely this Bay East Garden is a part of the large gardens by the bay area. the east part of the garden is still under some construction/ maintenance. the road are good, for leisure walking/ cycling/ running. there are grasslands for picnic or even camping. there are benches for a rest. tree canopy along the way to block scorching sunlight. usually a lot of people work out here, but still a pleasant place to visit, even you are a foreign visitor budgeting limited time in Singapore. also this is a good spot to take picture of the Singapore Flyer and the Marina Bay Sands and ArtScience Museum. also there are routes directly leading to the opposite bank, just walk southwards and follow the instruction board and suddenly you will find yourself in the marina bay at the other side.

Beautiful scenic area. Good place for cycling, runs and walks. But it can get really crowded and runners tend to aspect you to give way to them if you are only walking. Otherwise you'll be knocked! Weekends are crowded, go on a weekday.

Central Grove. The car park is closed for some construction work. To get to Central part, enter either via Arrival Grove or marina barrage.

Beautiful waking, jogging and cycling area along the bay, breezy and pretty. Very suitable for family with kids and couples and friends. Parking is at a distance. View is attractive during at night towards marina barrage and garden by the bay. One can just walk towards satay by the bay for nice meal, then headed marina bay sands and even to Merlion and Singapore eye too. Natural park with aqua living are nice attractive for kids too.

  • 5/5 Charvi P. 3 years ago on Google
I rated this place 5 stars for only one reason: because it is very eco friendly. This place is eco friendly in 2 ways. 1) It has a good biodiversity of plants and a great quantity of them. Gardens by the bay has many different plants and a very fun and interactive way of displaying them. 2) The transport taken to go there. The location of this place is where cars as well as more eco friendly transportation styles such as a bicycle can easily reach the destination. This garden is at the end of the ECP beach, so people can cycle there if they want, reducing the pollution rate a little. This place is also very educational and is an ideal place to show the importance of nature.

The Bay East Garden is in between Marina Barrage and East Coast Park. Thus, there will be a lot of people (either running or cycling) passing by this stretch. From this garden, you’ll be able to see some of Singapore’s landmarks - Marina Bay Sands, Singapore Flyer, the Supertree Grove, Cloud Forest, and Flower Dome. During the F1 season back then, you’ll be able to hear to the roaring sound of the cars. You can actually see the pit building from this garden.

Marina Bay East Garden is a beautiful place to visit. The Bay East Garden has a lovely Cycling Track with a well marked Side Walk. It is a great place for a walking enthusiasts. These days Covid restrictions are being followed. In normal times it is a good place for a family picnic. Public conveniences are available. Can be easily approached by car, Taxy or Singapore Buses going to Tanjong Rhu. Enjoyed the experience. Must visit to have lovely views of Singapore

Always a top fav spot for sports events, clean and spacious leading to amazing track and views of barrage and bay. Pickup point for cabs and grab are at ease too. We had lotsa fun at Kiztopia’s run today, bouncing castles and many pop up kiosks were brought in too!

Super nice gardens (will be even nicer when the nearby construction is over), fun paths to wander, plenty of little ponds to see, lots of benches to sit in peace, nearby park connector with one of the most amazing city views in the world

Once you are in the garden you don't feel like leaving it. All kinds of flora and fawn, beautiful walkway, cycle track , botanically selected trees with serene surrounding. Simply lovely.

Majority of the gardens have been closed off for "Construction Works" since October 2023. This is likely to be for the founders' memorial development. Construction fencing is in place, blocking off access to the park areas. Only the park connector from Tanjong Rhu to Marina Barrage and small pockets of remaining trails are accessible. Edited to add on 13 Feb 24: New photo showing hoarding of the Gardens
