The Istana park is a landmark situated in front of the Presidential Residence, the Istana. Lush greenary and within the Central Area, Singapore's central business district. The Park was completed in 1995. It was designed and built as an extension to the main entrance of the Istana. The park was officially opened on 6 September 1996 by National Development Minister Lim Hng Kiang.

Istana Park is located just outside Dhoby Ghaut mrt. It's a relatively small park that caters to the CBD area. It been located in the prime area as a public park for us to enjoy the greenery after work or after a meal. It has benches for us to sit and relax and also walk and cycle around this park. It's very calm and cooling at night. There's also a pathway where the trees are planted along the shelter with warm yellow lights that you can walk through. Within the Istana Park, there's also Istana Heritage Gallery and also visual art centre located there as well. #ILoveIstanaPark

A nice place to go for a stroll. Though it’s in quite a crowded busy location. The ambience is nice and quite centrally located. Some nice cafe’s here if you like to try something different in terms of a venue.

A park located right across the Istana and Plaza Singapura that most people may not know or visit even if they past by frequently. It is not big but well maintained and pleasant. The greenery provides a good respite from the malls and hotels along Orchard Road

The park I pass by on the bus is a typical city park, rectangular in shape, allowing those working nearby to come and rest. Has the sense of design. A very nice city park.

Peaceful park with wandering lanes among tropical trees and flowers. Central area with fountain and gallery. Nice to walk in the evenings as it gets a bit cooler and the landscape lighting glows.

This park is located right opposite the istana and above dhoby ghaut MRT station. The park is sandwiched in between two main roads. A relaxing place where one can find water features and benches all around the park.

Nice little piece of green heaven in the middle of a well-known shopping district. While it is not good for picnics, it is a good place to clear the clutter up in your mind by walking among the kept lush. There are seats if you fancy eating lunch there. And it does provide some shade from the sun and heat.

Good place to have walk or relax especially in the evenings. The walkways are beautiful with good lighting and a little garden. Have arrangements to sit if tired walking. Located in the centre of Singapore and also excellent transport facility with a bus stop and Dhoby Ghaut MRT within walkable distance.

Istana Park, located in the heart of Singapore, is a serene and picturesque green space that offers a respite from the urban hustle and bustle. Situated near the Istana, the official residence of the President of Singapore, this park provides a tranquil oasis in the midst of the city. As you enter the park, you'll be greeted by lush greenery, well-manicured lawns, and vibrant flower beds. The park features walking paths, benches, and shaded areas, providing a perfect spot for leisurely strolls, picnics, or simply enjoying the outdoors. The centerpiece of Istana Park is the symbolic Istana Gate, which adds a touch of grandeur to the surroundings. With its peaceful ambiance and close proximity to other cultural landmarks, Istana Park offers visitors a serene and refreshing experience in the heart of Singapore.

Doesn't open often, but it's a nice big open area. Getting into Istana ground is free, but a looooooong queue. You can opt to buy a ticket to get into the main building, but we only visited the open ground. If the weather is not looking great, be prepared to bring an umbrella. There were two queues, both get into the same open ground. The queue furthest from plaza Sing was faster, so queue that one.

This park is lush and gorgeous. From the (over)abundance of flora to the art center being placed right in the center of the park, I can't imagine a more peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of the surrounding shopping centers. If you're in the area, spend some time walking through this park - you will not regret it.

(Translated by Google) Many people in the island country would call it the Presidential Palace. I had the honor to visit the park on a National Day many years ago. It is hard to imagine that such a bustling Orchard Road could accommodate such a tranquility; elegant buildings and gardens. Starting from the majestic iron gate where the guards stand, it’s hard to imagine that this is a serious mansion, because the endless forest garden and a small river descending from the high slope are even more amazing. There are a few swans dotted in the meantime. Standing on the central axis of the square in front of the mansion, looking down towards the main entrance, the small river is surrounded by jade belts, and the presidential mansion is high on the top of the slope. This mansion was completed during the early British colonial rule, and it really deserves to give the architect who designed it back then.

It was hyped a lot, but fell short of something unique. It felt like a glorified Botanic Gardens. The exception was the swan lake. In Botanic Gardens, the swans are not there anymore, but in Istana, there are 2 mute, white swans.

Open during public holidays for the public. Bring your own picnic mats, food and water so that you can have a comfortable visit. Some parts of the Istana are quite hot but there are many large trees that provide good shade. The visit inside the Istana building itself gives you a glimpse of the gift exchanges between countries. There are make shift kids slides and swings, performances and booths to entertain.

(Translated by Google) This is the last day of travel to Singapore and the destination is to visit the Presidential Palace in Singapore. Because the hotel booked this time is far from the MRT station, most of the traffic is by bus, and there are bus stops on both sides of the hotel. Early this morning, after coming to the Marina Garden to board the air corridor, I transferred to the MRT to the Presidential Palace in Singapore, and the Presidential Palace was in front of the Istana Park MRT Station. Out of the MRT station, I saw the presidential palace in front of me. I just saw that there were guards standing in front of the gate. I didn’t see half of the tourists coming in and out. Later, when I checked the location again, I was able to check the visit time again. God~~ We missed it. The time of the visit. Every year, the Presidential Palace has several Open Houses. It can visit the first floor of the Singapore Presidential Palace in four festivals throughout the year, namely the traditional Chinese New Year, Labor Day, National Day and the Lantern Festival. Singapore permanent residents can enjoy free admission to these festivals, and foreign tourists only need to pay a fee of S$1. If there is an open day event, visitors can pay 2 SGD to enter the function rooms inside the Presidential Palace. We just missed Singapore National Day because we temporarily searched for other attractions in Singapore last night. We saw that the presidential palace did not notice the opening time limit of the article. I am also very pleased that the Singapore government is so close to the people that the result is a misunderstanding. Since it is impossible to go to the presidential palace and go to the park to hang out, the Istana Park area is not large, but the entire park is so refreshing and pleasant. The most striking place in the park is the festival of Estana Park. Arch [Festival Arch]. The festival arch is facing the front door of the presidential palace. There are eight flags of Singapore hanging on the arch. There is a pool in front of it. It is just that there is no time for the pool to have a water fountain. There is a glass house in the Istana Heritage Gallery next to the pool. We didn't go in and just took photos outside. Although I could not visit the Presidential Palace, I also appreciated the beauty of Estana Park and reduced the regret of not being able to visit the Presidential Palace!
