Love the serenity along on trail. The total length just nice for an easy walk. Great for family walk together since the place are mostly flat. You can see a fog ahead in the early mornings and beautiful sunrise/ sunset.

Started this walk from Built Timah, Beauty World MRT station to Bouna Vista station. It took about an hour and it is about 4+ km. It is an easy, relaxing nature walk without the mud. I started around 7+am and it was cool and shady throughout the walk. I am told that this walk connects all the way to Mt Faber. Those who are ready for more adventures can give it a go.

Singapore is a gem on this archipelago. It is a place where all the good things in the world seem to come together. Visiting Singapore made me question my own existence, wondering if such a place could really be real. I left Singapore feeling inspired and motivated, and I asked myself why my own country couldn't be more like Singapore. Singapore, please adopt me!

Rail Corridor South - King Albert Park to Tanjong Pagar (10Km). Proper path for walking and cycling. Many access points to the rail corridor. However: 1. No lighting since it's a nature park as such it's not suitable for early morning or evening when there’s poor visibility. 2. No toilet, water point, rest point or shelter from King Albert Park to Tanjong Pagar. The only rest / water point is at Masjid Hang Jebat. NPARKs is exploring using the existing overhead structure (road flyover/bridge) as bad weather shelter with log bench and toilet with water point at certain location.

Nice place for walk! The rail track is definitely instagrammable! But be prepared to have many other heads in the pic. It’s crowded most of the time. Other than that, nice nature walk with family or friends

Been traversing the route pretty often in my free time, although the starting point is always from the south (Buona Vista). It's generally a pleasant route for running, particularly in good weather. It's just a flat straight route all along. Just be sure to wear a good footwear since a few sections of the track are often flooded during or after downpours. It also could've been better if more sheds installed along the route as shelter during heavy rains.

Great city trekking experience. Start at the King Albert Park station. The walk down to the Old Bukit Timah Station to start the walk. We walked North around 4KM to the Rail Mall, which is a great place to have a meal.

Refurbished to a walking trail from a railway line that no longer runs. The paths are nicely paved with parts of the trail retaining the rail tracks. The popular trail is crowded on weekends and holidays, especially the areas with the rail tracks. Many cyclists use the path too so do be alert. The trail is unlit to minimize disturbances to the wildlife.

It's a popular walking and biking trail, especially after the recent renovation. There's some opportunity to take pictures of the old railway station, birds, and if you're lucky, monkeys. Remember to bring along an insect repellent. Also, plan your walk since there are limited exits along the trail.

Nice trekking path. Started from The Rail Mall and ended at Alexandra Area, was around 11km and took 2.5hrs with slow walk. Road was very easy to walk with plenty of foliage at Timah area.

A good mixed of rustic, countryside feeling, with the convenience of modern day amenities within easy reach at intervals of every 1km to 2km. Excellent trail for bikers and hikers.

Great place for long walking trails. The great thing about this trail is the option of hopping on & off at whichever entry & exit as the rail corridor stretches from woodlands to tanjong Pagar. Word of advice- start early as it gets hot right after 10am & not much shades along the way making it hard to enjoy the trail... Please make a pit stop at Singapore Quarry! Great place for birdwatching. Spotted a kingfisher!

Great place to be jogging but during the pandemic this place got super crowded, so please go on a weekday, not a weekend. Great place for bikers and runners. Much lesser people now fortunately. Very scenic, and shows a rustic side of Singapore. You might still spot some people growing stuff like herbs along the tracks if you open your eyes.

Had a lovely walk along the rail corridor from King Albert Park to Buona Vista. Loved that it's shaded and rather cooling. View wise may be rather limited. May need to be careful of cyclists too.

It was a good hike. A bit of a challenge, esp if beginners.

Fairly easy trail from Rail Mall to the southern part of Singapore - though it doesn’t have many exits within the track. This certainly is a plus to get away from the hustle and bustle in our daily routine πŸ‘πŸ» It isn’t at all muddy since it’s proper tracks, and there isn’t much mosquitoes too 🀞🏻 Definitely bring your own drinks, and consider your stop points prior to the start of the hike. Would recommend a food trail as part of hike, with a quick breakfast at Rail Mall, before stopping by Alexandra Area for lunch and wrapping up the final stretch of the walk after. Important: It ends rather abruptly with a proper canal measuring over 60cm that you have to jump across. Do be careful if you are heading out with little ones πŸ’’

Lovely and very easy-to-go "nature" corridor. Well designed and convenient access to nature, slightly less natural as the paths are paved over but this facilitates movement along the corridors.

16 km in 3:15h, 700 calories burnt ☺️ This is a very nice hiking/walking track. I started at Hillview and liked the first 7-8 km the most because it is very green, quiet and scenic. The part close to the main station is just a path. Definitely a β€œmust” if you are in Singapore.

A valuable gift from the old Malaysian Railway...nature untouched for decades. Nice place for families and kids...but watch out for the odd quick cyclist!

Nice walk down from kings Albert park mrt to buona vista. This section of the rail corridor is very popular with family and children as well as MTB bikers so there’s a need to be careful . Most of it is not sheltered so it’s very hot on sunny days. Through this path you past the old railways station and then pass by a route that can lead to clementi forest .

A must for cycling, jogging and nature fans. Long, scenic trail traversing both tree and concrete jungles. Some paths are gravel, no prob for MTB but painful for road bikes.

My favourite route for a easy and long walk, beware that seating arrangements are available only in couple of spots if you need to rest, recover and jog
