Love this retro inspired cosy little cafe tuck at Rangoon Road! Was pleasantly surprised by the unusual but lovely set-up. My face lit-up the minute I stepped into the cafe. It’s menu has an amazing list of food to choose from. ingredients used are fresh and nicely cooked. Love about everything! From our mains to our dessert and latte ❤️ Will be back to savour more ✌️

Good service, good food. Water is complimentary. Seats without backing were initially uncomfortable. We managed to move to the car booth seats which had backing and are comfortable. Sgd86 total for 3 mains 1 coffee and 1 dessert. Double fish burger not as worth it as fish cutlets. Chicken cranberry was tasty. Risotto balls beef stew very interesting. Cafe latte was good. Can get loud and space is slightly cramped. Songs playing over speakers are 90s hits. Windows are darkened so customers can see outside but outsiders cannot see in. Good place for noisy gatherings, not that suitable for a quiet chill out on weekends.

Quaint little cafe 5-10minutes walk from Farrer Park MRT. Coincidentally came across it as we were looking in that area for food. To start off, staff was attentive and opened the door for us even though we were just looking at the menu. she recommended us a aesthetic car seat to give a good vibe to the place. Looking at the atmosphere, the location was aggressively designed and every corner of the place was filled to the brim with decor. Despite that, it somehow felt nice and cozy still. Food wise, prices were decent and of cafe prices, but we were super impressed with the pasta. We ate the Fruitti Di Mare and Aglio Olio with Ribeye Steak. Both pastas were al dente and generous with the portions. Plating was superb. Taste wise, the Ribeye surprised me with the well seasoned meat and blended perfectly with the pasta. Fruiti Di Mare was creamy and tasty, really tempted to lap the entire sauce up at the end. Overall, worth the travel if you are in or out of the area.

Brunches is a very unique little restaurant. The furniture is novel and clearly had a lot of thought put into choosing it. The car table added a nice touch to the theme of the restaurant. The food is expensive, rich and has to be accompanied by a drink or you won't be able to finish it. The display stand with all the finger food paired quite well with the theme. We celebrated a birthday party there consisting or 50 people minus the staff. The waiters handled the people fairly well getting the food to tables on time and refilling their glasses. Whilst we put up the decorations one of my daughters burst a balloon and one of the waitress's dropped a glass and blamed my daughter and the balloon that burst. The waitress said my daughter popped a balloon so she got scared and dropped a glass. The owner's service level is exceptional, he was going around pouring wine for every table and was honest to return the extra bottles after the party ended. There is only one bathroom which isn't very clean but it's not too bad. The bathroom didn't have toilet paper though. The place was kept surprisingly cool regardless of the number of people there. The drinks are also expensive but quite interesting and creative.

The decor and staff service at Brunches Cafe was great. Food were presented well too. However taste can be improved. It did not taste bad, but it wasn't mind-blowing either hence the 4 stars. The meat in the pan-fried fish was a little rubbery. Don't mind coming back to try other dishes. Recommend the waffle ice cream for dessert. Pricing is affordable!

Food was good and servings were generous! Owner (i think) was very friendly. Came over to help us with a group photo and gave free magnet to my gal. Atmosphere was very old school and warm. We came for lunch. I think it will be a nice place for dinner.

Had a wonderful evening at this cafe. They have live music on Saturday evenings. The ice cream waffles were fantastic and the lava cake was nicely done. The interior is packed with exquisite collection of nostalgic items including old bus tickets, comics, radios and other memorables. There m is even a cut off car converted into seats, making the place even more interesting. The singer is very friendly, up close and personal. Enjoyed his singing and performance.

What a friendly and convivial place! Add live music to the charmingly quirky deco and you get a great place to have a bite, relax and have a drink. The chicken steak with cranberry sauce was good. I like the generous portion of salad that accompanied it, and they were nice enough to change my dressing from honey mustard to balsamic vinegar. The duck comfit was too dry, but tasted quite good. The minestrone soup was very well made and delicious. They also have a pretty good selection of drinks here. Both the elderberry soda and honey orange yuzu soda were great. If you're around the area, be sure to drop by and check out this small but charming cafe. Be sure to go on Saturday when there's live music. Then be prepared to relax and enjoy yourself!

I am totally blown away by this place and wondered why I did not know of this place earlier. Besides the delectable food and wine at a very affordable price, there is so much to see and reminisce - things that we see, touch, indulge in during our younger days but has since been long forgotten. If there is a place to visit in Singapore to catch a glimpse of the objects of the yesteryears in Singapore, this is it.

My family and I went in on a Saturday, they had live band singing through the night, we were surrounded by Xmas decorations and old school vibes. We got their Xmas dinner set, where the main dish are not in the regular menu. Love the lamb shank, it was very tender and savoury. My family had a blast chatting, enjoying the food and singing all through the night. The entire cafe sang me a birthday song too. It was a very memorable night. Thank you Brunches Cafe ❤️

Had a really awesome experience here celebrating my good friend's birthday, the service is really good, the ambience is nice and I love the vintage deco. One of the staff, probably the boss is a nice guy and very humorous too! And, the food is delicious. In addition, they actually prepared the cake and played a birthday song for my friend! Will definitely be back for more to try their high tea and other food! :)

I like the western foods and the deco. Good place for photography. The dessert and coffee also good. This is my second time visiting. Already try the tuna during my 1st visit, today I try the Salmon taste good too. The service are good. My personal view the pricing are slightly on the high side.

Second time here for their high tea, splendid as always. Absolutely adore the vintage retro vibe that this place exudes as well as the good use of old used parts (cars, oil barrels etc.) to make seats, very cleverly designed and put together space!

Food is not bad! Love the seabass which is one of the best I eaten in a cafe! Tiramisu have quite strong alcohol content. Ambience was great and comfortable for large gatherings.

Nice lunch experience here in Brunch Cafe. Their decorations are definitely top notch. Since CNY is just at the corner, they completely decorated the whole cafe, and it’s full with CNY vibes. Food quality is quite good and tastes great too, especially the Bacon on my Egg Benedict. Service is good too as waitress will recommend us food and offer us a seat at the car deco table.

Amazing. Great food, great service, cozy ambience and the best live performances. Enjoyed everything I ordered and immediately decided that I’m coming back here again. The singer is amazing and brilliant at brightening up the mood. He even sang our song request!! Love the vibe and definitely gonna be bring my family and friends here in the future! 100% recommend!!! 🥰

We visited for an early Sunday dinner and were glad we made a reservation. The cafe was almost 100% filled when we left at 7pm! Ambience is great for gathering with friends and it’s child-friendly. Service was impeccable! Owner & staff are warm & attentive. I really appreciate their kind gestures eg my toddler kept dropping his utensils on the floor but they were quickly replaced with clean ones. Food wise, one would be spoilt for choice. We had the lobster bisque, risotto balls with red wine beef stew (very yummy) & grilled salmon. Ended the meal with a lovely tiramisu that was well worth the calories. Would definitely recommend to my friends and return to try the other dishes (and ah-hem..desserts 😛).

I made reservations and came with my friends. The place is cozy, with so many detailed decorations to look at. Food was great, the seabass slightly salty but it was great combined with salad. And the service TOP notch, they really give you a warmth feeling as if u are part of the family. Owner really friendly, will definitely going to go back to try other dish. Thanks for hosting us today :))

A nice cafe for soaking in nostalgia. Lovely ambience and polite service. Seems every nostalgic memorabilia is for sale in here. We tried full dinner and desserts. Food wise, desserts especially warm apple crumble with choice of ice cream hits the mark. The tea series served are served with beautiful cups makes savouring even more enjoyable. Some hits & misses for savouries. Bites are passable, would be great if they work to improve on mains. Reservations via WhatsApp is easy. Note there’s a time limit for dine in, which they are flexible if cafe is not crowded. A place we will choose to be back for light bites, desserts and tea.

Brunches Cafe has become my go-to spot for a cozy dining experience. The intimate atmosphere is perfect for those seeking a tranquil escape. I'm a fan of their Queen Salad—it's a refreshing delight! Today, I indulged in their New Year Set Dinner, and the Cod Fish stole the show. Cooked to perfection, it's a must-try for seafood enthusiasts. Brunches Cafe continues to impress with its diverse menu and impeccable service. Highly recommended for a memorable culinary journey!

Wow. Legit authentic cafe vibes here. We happened to stumble into this cafe after running an errand. Loved the atmosphere with the unique antiques and deco. There's a table for two in a car! The staff are really friendly, and the atmosphere is so calm and comforting. Generious food portion and quality is comparable to high end restaurants. Definitely coming back here with friends! Highly recommend trying this place out. It's worth it!

A very atmospheric, cozy and enchanting cafe. Sitting inside it temporarily takes your mind off all hustle bustle, letting you enjoy your meal fully. I visited on a weekday lunch time and the crowd was just right for a peaceful lunch. The current Christmas decorations further add to the ambience. Coffee was great, service was impeccable and the food boasts just the right portion for an adult man. I will definitely return for more memorable meals.

Mr. TK and his team were incredible sweet and accommodating, especially regarding our vegetarian specific requirements. The ambience of the cafe, adorned with Valentine's day themed decorations, was simply delightful. It was a perfect romantic atmosphere for the evening, adding an extra touch of charm to our dining experience. What truly stood out was the sweet gesture from Mr. TK himself, who surprised us with lovely balloons as a token of appreciation. It's these small, thoughtful gestures that make all the difference and truly elevate the dining experience. It was a memborable evening to remember and highly recommend Brunches Cafe 5/5.

Great decor, homely feel and amazing service sums it up for brunches cafe. So refreshing to enter a place that’s not a boiler plate multinational fast food chain. Regular breakfast and brunch fare, all dishes were presented well and of a decent portion size. Only the fries and onion rings could have been freshly made as well instead of the frozen ready to fry variety (we get that at home). Everything was topped with small giveaways for the kids with a Christmas feel. Great experience, would love to go again!

  • 5/5 Henry Y. 2 years ago on Google
Ordered their high tea last year when dining was still restricted to 2 pax. The owner was very kind and assisted me to my car as it was pouring and I was struggling with my umbrella and the food. Came back with my family today, and he was equally kind and friendly. Food is pretty good with reasonable prices. He won 2 fans when he gave free magnets to the kids.

went in for lunch while they had their christmas decorations up. an avalanche of santas! Wonderful food, reasonable prices, eclectic and quirky decor (with most available for sale), friendly and attentive staff, and damn good coffee. What’s not to like? Make sure to order the king salad, it's fantastic.

Great place for brunch (as the name of the cafe suggests 😂) I had the Benedict’s which was awesome. The rockets were amazing, so are the tomatoes. The first cup of long black was ordered when they first opened and was a great brew. I had a second cup but it was slightly sour, probably didn’t clear the residue on the machine. Overall a great place and very instagrammable.

Overall rating 3.5/5 Went in with high expectations given the rating. Overall, love the ambience and the service but the value of the food in relation to the price needs a bit of improvement. Food: Ordered 2x Aglio Olio - 1 with steak and 1 with smoked duck. 2x flat white 1x lava cake Total Damage: $~80 The steak was done medium rare and it was good. For the smoked duck, i disagree with previous reviews. It was cut soooo thick that it was hard to chew or cut, and (i’m just gonna assume it’s frozen) there are better smoked duck options out there. Disappointment for the price paid. Flat white was alright, latte art was nice The dessert of lava cake was the best part. We chose lavender and the staff kindly warned us some people love or hate it. It’s not that bad, but it DOES taste super perfume-like compared to other lavender ice cream (Betsubara does it best still, in my opinion). Loved the ambience which has a quirky collection of different things. I’d come back to try other dishes but it wouldn’t be a priority.

The festive deco lightened up the mood of my family. The food was quite good, although the golden risotto ball was a bit cloy, but I'll still order it again as a sharing plate. Price is higher than your average cafe, hope they can find suppliers who can give better rates... The service was excellent and they were really attentive yet not intrusive. Helped us to take lots of pics too! I got the festive menu (mushrooms roulade) for $44++ which also included two cute Christmas gifts.. really love the food and will be back! The crispy duck confit was good!

Had lunch with a good friend to catch up. The ambience here was great, staff were friendly and helpful. King's salad was great, the chicken was succulent and the salad tasty and 'crunchy' because of the cranberry and sunflower seeds. Had coffee on the rock which was awesome. My friend had chilli crab pasta and beauty tea - both were great! 👍

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and food here! The decorations and ambience were very vibrant! The golden risotto ball with beef stew was delicious! The JUICY beef burger lived up to it’s name! The wait staff / boss (?) was extremely friendly and provided great customer service too! Would love to try their dessert in future, hope to come back soon!

My first visit was with my agency colleagues about 1.5 years ago. This time, my friend who is a regular here, suggested to catch up here together with another friend. The food quality and taste were great. ( missed out the photo for mushroom fritters). We enjoyed them thoroughly. Anne is very friendly and attentive, made us feel very welcome. The decorations are very unique. We love the ambience and the whole experience. Heard that there are live music on weekends. Will check it out again.

Stopped in here on Sunday for brunch. Really cool spot & very busy!! Service was really good and food was delivered quickly. We were able to get a table but had to eat quick as there was a reservation for our table. The French toast was ok, a bit dry and hard on the edges. The pancakes my son said were super…we didn’t get to try because he at them all. Thw issue with the pancakes & French toast is all the fruit on top…too much dragon fruit for me and the grapes just seemed out of place. If the fruit was on the side it would have been better than on top of the pano cakes/toast. The duck confit wax really good but not a big portion. The best item was the juicy beef burger with bacon…yum yum. We would come back just for burgers & fries! Although we had a quick visit the manager was really friendly & told us about the Fri & Sat night band and signed us up for their members program. All in all it’s a nice brunch place and I would defiantly go again. The food is only so so but everything else was good.

Medium size cafe with lots of interesting decorations to keep your eyes busy while you eat. Food is above average with a generous serving size. Had the big breakfast, overall good value for money however its let down by the toast (small) and non-cracked pepper. You're best served to secure a reservation here first as brunch time can be busy. Friday nights supposedly has a live singer.

What could I say, I just wanted to have good breakfast by myself and have a lovely time in Singapore. The place was so full when I reached there at 10 and the staff was so friendly to even click my pictures and let me explore the place by myself. Their art collection is another level funky and cute. It should be named Brunches Art Cafe rather. :)

Purposely went there as the reviews are quite good. Didn’t disappoint us. Coffee is good. Food is tasteful and quite a big portion. Was not able to try dessert as we were full after finishing soup and main course shared by two of us. Will be back for coffee and dessert. :)

Frutti de mare had a nice tangy and creamy sauce. Beef stew also had a nice flavour, the risotto balls were crispy and cheesy and the beef was very tender. Calamari rings were crispy and went well with the lemon wedge provided. The mushroom soup was creamy and packed a strong mushroom flavour topped with truffle oil. Came by slightly before dinner time on a Monday and the service was very fast. Really enjoyed the food quality and reasonable prices.

We booked a place on new years, and it was initially supposed to be an outdoor seating, but we got to go to a private room at the back and enjoyed a very nice meal with wonderful atmosphere. My folks were pleased like they were looking back into their childhood. Pictured: Truffle fries, matcha latte, risotto ball with beef stew, chocolate lava cake with icecream of choice (I got vanilla but they have a lot of flavours like lavender and pistachio)

Love the place and food. Staffs are very friendly and warm. We didn't make reservation & plc is fully booked as it happens to be Sunday. Staff offered their cosy 'VIP' private room & we were taken aback with the decorations. Food portion is big enough for sharing if you are small eaters. Pastries and cakes are superb. My mum don't actually fancy western food but she loved all dishes that we ordered especially the mushroom soup and pastries 🤭. BRUNCHES is a hidden gem at Ragoon Road. Highly recommend this cafe. Will definitely come back again.😉
