Food portion is very filling. Nice ambience. Good service. Grilled Cheese Mushroom sandwich and strawberry cheesecake waffle recommended. Dragonfruit pineapple cooler was interesting. The sourdough bread ... lovely. Best to make reservations over the weekend as it's crowded.

Dining Experience @ Lola's Cafe. . Ambience is refreshed, exuding a cozy Modern Scandinavian lounge vibe, reminiscent of a Wes Anderson film set. Clean lines, warm lights, plush seating, muted pastel colours, and wooden furnishings, combine for a homely, down-to-earth, casual feel. There's both outdoor and indoor seating now, and the perpetual buzz of activity, coupled with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. . Service is energetic, quick, and relatively attentive, though the latter varies by staff. They're relatively young here, moving quickly to seat guests, serve orders, and clean up. Staff sometimes proactively offer to clear finished plates, but during busy periods, it can be hard to catch their attention. . Food is Modern European cuisine, drawing on French, British, American, and Italian influences. Quality is excellent as always, and their consistency is the key to their longevity and returning customers. Beverages are excellent as well. Portions are medium to large, suitable for sharing. Prices have gone up, budget about SGD $35 per person.

The wings were good though it's more of a sweet side. I like the truffle pasta, very pleasantly yummy. The sausages were nice too especially served with mashed potato. Staff was very sweet to write a little birthday card for the birthday gal presenting the waffle ice cream.

Great ambience for a hearty chat with my friend on a Sat afternoon! Made reservation and headed down, no fuss! The food was great too! Truffle fries was crispy and nice tho the truffle taste not that strong, the best was the wings! Will be back for desserts next time :)

Had the Lola's breakfast and truffle fries. I enjoyed the toast which was full of buttery goodness and aroma. But bacon was good but not crispy enough. The sausage was a bit too porky smell for me. The scrambled eggs was excellent with the right consistency and texture. But overall it was a good breakfast plate. The fries served was piping hot. The flat white was strong. All in all..a pleasant breakfast.

Great cafe option in the area, 4 stars! Food was relatively affordable as well, ordered a lot and total bill came in under 140. Space was small so remember to book ahead! Loved the chicken wings and tatter tots (to share, otherwise might be slightly on the cheesier side), mushroom truffle pasta was also decent (to share otherwise it might be a little “jelak”), burger was normal (would pass in future), bangers and mash was pretty good (caramelized onions with mash potato was good), and lastly the pulled pork (which was pretty okay, but not mind blowing). Coffee’s selection had a mild and stronger version but both were pretty solid. Overall good experience!

Finally got a chance to try their food. Had brunch on Sunday. Was full house when we arrived but waiting time was acceptable. Staff are friendly and attentive. As for the food, portion are quite big, taste are good. However, the portion might be a little too big to me, I find it a bit "jelak" and couldn't finish it. Sausages are a little bit too salty to me. Were told that we had only 1 hour dining time, so no coffee for my brunch as I like to slowly enjoy my coffee. Place is a bit small and cramped, very lively when it's full house. Good for having a quick brunch but may not be a good choice for me if I want to have a relax Sunday brunch and catch up with friends.

Great food quality. Loved the strawberry pistachio tart. I think there was white chocolate inside. The pistachio taste is rich and strawberry slices are fresh and not sour 😀. The crab pasta is so yummy and flavourful, highly recommended. The pork collar risotto is amazing as well. The pork got a bit dry towards the end but the risotto is so delicious. Love the touch of fried kale but the dining experience would be elevated if there are more fried kale and if the pork is more moist and juicy / bursting with flavours. I love the new renovated place- the interior design is beautiful with the new curves, lighting, and this new spacious space makes people feel so comfortable. Staff service is great as well even though everyone looked really busy.

My favourite go to cafe in the Northeast area. For mains, would recommend their carbonara and ravioli. For sides, get their honey paprika wings! If you like nachos cheese, you can order the tatter tots!

Lola’s Cafe is celebrating their 10th anniversary 🥳 along with the reopening of their Simon Road branch. You MUST get their 𝙋𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙋𝙤𝙧𝙠 & 𝘼𝙫𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙤 𝙀𝙜𝙜𝙨 𝘽𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩 ($16). 🐷🥑🥚The chipotle pulled pork is as tender and flavourful as we remember it - the eggs benedict was SO divine! The 𝘾𝙧𝙖𝙗 𝘾𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝘽𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩 ($20) featured meaty crab cakes with chunks of fresh crab and prawn, 🦀🦐 and the seafoody goodness was really prominent. Their hollandaise sauce was so rich that we almost instantly went into food coma. 🤤🤤 We ALWAYS get their 𝙃𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙋𝙖𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙠𝙖 𝘾𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙥𝙮 𝙒𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 ($13) 🍗. No joke, these are one of the best in SG, and everyone’s all-time favourite. 🫶🏻🫶🏻 The batter was not too thick, the meat super tender, and the skin was crrrispy! And omg that sauce -TLDR; these chicken wings are a must order, you’ll get addicted! ‼️ To top it off, we had their NEW 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙬𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝙋𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙤 𝙏𝙖𝙧𝙩 ($9).🍓🌰 The pistachio ganache was hidden under the mound of vanilla chantilly cream and strawberries and delivered that perfect nuttiness you’re looking for! 🤤🤤 For drinks, we got their 𝙐𝙟𝙞 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙖 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙏𝙚𝙖 𝙇𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚 ($7) 🍵, 𝙇𝙤𝙡𝙖’𝙨 𝘼𝙛𝙛𝙤𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙤 𝙀𝙨𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙤 ($7) ☕️, and ofc their 𝙇𝙤𝙡𝙖’𝙨 𝘾𝙝𝙤𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝘾𝙖𝙠𝙚 🍫🍰 ($6.50) to-go! Haven’t been back here in ages, and I must say, they have only improved since the last time I visited. With the new, additional shop house as an extension of their restaurant, they have more space to accommodate pet owners in the outdoor seating too. Super aesthetic, very kind and attentive staff. The food is still good, as ever. And the coffee selection?? 💯💯💯 For 2 of us, for 2 mains, 2 drinks, 1 side, approx spending at $35/pax Would come back again!!

The food was quite nice, love their wings and truffle fries. Their shredded pork sandwich is good too. Their strawberry cheesecake waffle tastes good too. I found their Shakshuka too oily and heavy for me. They are quite crowded even for a weekday brunch. It's a bit noisy as all the customers are chatting while they are eating, so it may not be a conducive place to be in if you prefer a quiet place to have your food and quiet conversation with your friend.

Finally got a chance to eat here as our past two attempts were met with long queues. The ambiance is quite cozy. Definitely a good place for friends gatherings. We had the Paprika Wings, which was very yummy; the Lola's breakfast; Pull Pork Benedict and Truffle fries. The staff were all very friendly and service was very prompt

Been to Lola’s multiple times and it’s always a good experience. This time, we tried the mushroom and bacon cream linguine, the seafood stew, and their tater tots. The pasta was good - great flavour and texture. We would’ve enjoyed the stew more if it were thicker but it was really tasty so no big complaints. The tater tots didn’t change my life - felt like trying them because we usually get the honey paprika wings (100/10 recommend) so we wanted to switch things up. Will just keep getting the wings in the future. My boyfriend had the cold brew and he enjoyed it! I also liked my peach oolong (can’t taste much of the oolong to be fair but still quite refreshing). Also, I love the new layout of the place - feels much cozier with the lighting and seating design.

First time visiting Lola's Cafe for brunch. We ordered Crab Cake Benedict and the Ultimate Croissant. Loved it!! Portion is generous and tasty. For coffee, we ordered Latte and Mocha. Some coffees you can choose between house blend or seasonal beans. We just find it a bit on the noisy side due to high ceiling. Service was warm and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful experience. 💛

Came here for early dinner on a Sunday, no reservations. Had to wait for around 15min before getting a table, which I thought was reasonable. Food wise, we ordered Salmon grain bowl, truffle fries and white coffee. Overall good quality is not bad. We also ordered a sea salt chocolate tart for dessert, it was just average.

Service from a number of young ladies was great! They were attentive, cheerful and helpful. The paprika chicken wings were nicely seasoned and crispy - would recommend that. However I wasn’t too fond of the truffle linguine as the flavouring is a bit artificial tasting and strong. The place was smaller than I expected and it can get noisy when there’s lots of diners so it might not be the best place to hang around and chill. The place was packed with diners even during a weekday afternoon lunch.

Staffs are friendly. A lot ppl was queuing and so we queue for 30 mins to get into the restaurant. Sometime you don’t need to wait if you are ok to dine in outdoor. Will recommend BACON & MUSHROOM TRUFFLE CREAM LINGUINE, it tastes so nice with truffles and mushroom🤤. I would not recommended the SPICY TOMATO CRAB RIGATONI, I can only taste spicy and can’t taste the crab☹️. HONEY PAPRIKA CRISPY WINGS was ok, the skin is crunchy and tastes good, the meat is soft and juicy but the meat was a little bit tasteless. Their iced chocolate taste healthy “bitter > sweet” 🫤. Basil mint lemonade is the best matched drink in a hot day.

Food was great as usual and the service from the crew was excellent!! Food came fairly fast as well!! The only downside was the Cafe could have done better with installing acoustic ceilings to contain the noise as the Cafe was pretty noisy with full house and we had to shout across to communicate with one another.

Many places serve breakfast. Many have disappointed. This full works breakfast plate that consisted of eggs, bacons, sausages, hash browns and salad has to be the best so far. Sausage is grilled rather than fried. The egg ben on pull pork was also good in portion. Coffee was good too.

I’m here for the 5th time and the food standard is always consistently good! My all time favourite cafe in the north east 💖 Keep up the good work Lola! FYI, please reserve your slots online to prevent disappointment. The walk-in queues are super long! Dining in duration is limited to 1hour due to covid restrictions. Better to come prepared to know what you want to eat so can save some time when ordering. Super love their honey paprika crispy wings, is the best best chicken wings in the whole Singapore! Definitely is a must order dish in Lola’s cafe! Truffle Mushroom linguine is delicious too, but recommend to share because it might get too “jelak” to eat by 1 pax. The coffee is good too, highly recommend!

Had the spicy tomato crab rigatoni. Not bad, felt homely, but a bit too spicy for my liking. It also felt a bit warm at the bay window area. A little crowded on a weekday during lunch hour. Overall a pretty hidden cafe with good service.

Came for brunch. Got the Pulled Pork sandwich & the breakfast platter. Pork was smokey & tender, and the went well with the Avocado, eggs, and toast. Breakfast platter was hearty and tasty. I particularly liked the sausages. Overall a pretty standard "english breakfast".

Nice chill cafe at the Kovan area, comfy seats, spacious cafe. We had their Mont Blanc tart and gluten free choc cake with vanilla ice cream, and Christmas half roast chicken. Cake and tart was not too sweet, v good, good chestnut taste in their tart. Really enjoyed my gluten free choc cake which wasn’t dry, crumbly or flour tasting. Loved the pairing with ice cream, give it some contrast in temperature. Chicken came with Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. Chicken was tasty, juicy, came off the bone easily. Friend really loved their Brussels sprouts and wanted to order it as a side but there was no such dish unfortunately. We requested for 3 water bottle refills and the staff obliged, also requested for other condiments to go with the chicken. Overall, a really lovely dining experience.

I have been here a few times. The food is good, my favourite is the Tuscan seafood stew with the sourdough bread, although I order for more sourdough bread. It is savoury and packed with the flavours of seafood. I do recommend this for those who love seafood. The atmosphere is pleasant and very warm, making guests feel welcome. The staff are polite and does their jobs well. A bit pricey but worth the price, will try other dishes in the future as well.

I have always been a big fan of Lola’s cafe ever since they opened back in2013(?), roughly a decade ago before they expanded and renovated. Brought many different groups of friends to the Kovan outlet multiple times over those many years and I literally grew up with the cafe. The food had always been amazing in the past, however when I visited Lola’s recently during CNY 2024, I found the food to be quite lacking in flavor (especially the honey paprika wings and truffle fries). Not sure if it’s just due to the CNY crowd leading to more chaos and lower standards of food or that the recipe has changed recently. Desserts were amazing as always, just that it was the first item to be served to us even though we checked the “serve later” when ordering. Service wise most of the staff were polite and friendly even though they were very busy due to the CNY crowd. I can’t wait for the Tampines Mall outlet to be open later this year! Hopefully my love for the honey paprika wings will be re-ignited again

Been to Lola’s multiple times and was never disappointed. Favourite brunch items will be the crab cakes and the breakfast platter. Service staffs are friendly, iced water offered after seated. Can get really crowded but overall still a good experience. (:

Their service is okay no bad no good, just average. Then my friend ordered the tomato penne pasta, i order crab egg benedict and tater tots to share. Their pasta is wayyyyy undercook, not sure why also cause the tater tots came first then the pasta, they could have cooked the pasta like 2-3m more to be ale dente, this isn’t even ale dente, it’s hard af, after chewing for a while u will feel ur jaw to be sore. The sauce a very plain tomato sauce, not much herby taste to counter the acidic tomato sauce, there’s also crab meats and onion in the sauce. Then for the crab benedicts, the hollandaise has like some shoyu in it. The crab they used is those tinned ones so you can’t rlly expect high quality ones, and paired with salad. The tater tots is nice tho(u cant go wrong w tater tots tbh), with some cheese on top(not homemade) and n chives. Overall okay uh, i’d say if i live 1h+ away it’s worth a try, like those once in a lifetime cafe, i wont go again unless it’s a date or some special occasion.

Lola's Cafe is definitely a GEM with a warm atmosphere and exceptional food. The friendly staff creates a welcoming experience. The menu offers a variety of delicious options. Everything I tried these years have been stunning. I highly recommend visiting Lola's Cafe for a delightful dining experience. Tbh Simon Road and Holland V are equally good! So you can visit either of the branch depending on where you are, and you will still be satisfied!!100% recommend!! 🔥🔥🔥

This is one of the best brunch cafes in the north east region, the breakfast was large size and coffee is good. Also they seem to be quite pet friendly as I see dogs in the outdoor area.

Haven't been back for years but the quality of the food and service was still so consistent and good! 👍🏻 Their Honey Paprika Wings still made me ooo. Duck was tender and nice, Tuscan Seafood Stew was so rich in flavour but the best thing that we had was their Black Sesame Tart. If you love anything that is Black Sesame, please try it as it was so legit! PS: If you are taking MRT, please exit via Exit B of Kovan Station, because my friend had to detour 1 big round and be late. 😅

Staffs are friendly. A lot ppl was queuing and so we queue for 15 mins to get into the restaurant in the early afternoon on sunday. Will recommend BACON & MUSHROOM TRUFFLE CREAM LINGUINE, it tastes so nice with truffles and mushroom and the cream is thick. The tart is delicious as well.

Went for the highly recommended honey paprika wings that were delicious - crispy and an amazing sweet-savoury flavour combination! Nacho cheese tater tots were simple but hearty and satisfying as well. Came by around 8pm on a Tuesday night and the place was packed - reservations recommended.

I must say, I was a tad let down by the overall experience dining here and through no fault of the staff to be sure. Service was faultless. Nonetheless, I felt let down by the quality of the food. The ultimate croissant was less than ultimate and was really just run of the mill. Where was the buttery feel goodness of a well made croissant? I seriously found naught. The tater tots were slightly better, well fried. The waffles were probably the saving grace that led me to give a pass rating (plus the faultless service). Crisp and light, the waffles remained so even with a huge serving of well balanced ice cream.

Came on a sunday late afternoon and queued for about 40mins. Food was great, ordered the carbonara, wings and big breakfast. Wings are a must-order when it comes to lola! However, this outlet’s indoor acoustics was so horrible I need to deduct a star no matter how good the food was. Go to the one at hollage village instead.

During my recent visit to Lola's Cafe Koven for a birthday meal with some friends, we encountered an unfortunate incident. We bought a cake and politely asked the staff if we could serve it. However, one particular staff member named JJ was extremely rude and loud in his response. This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable and left a lasting negative impression on our experience. It's disheartening to encounter such unprofessionalism from the cafe's staff, and as a result, I will not be returning in the future.

One of the more “worth it” cafes in my opinion. Portions are very generous. All the food that we had was delicious! Drinks were refreshing as well. Had a seat outside with a smaller table but it was ok for the two of us. Recommend booking beforehand to avoid the wait, especially on weekends.

Waffles have slight crisp even though it was soaked in melted ice-cream after some time. Hazelnut ice-cream is good, though it melted very quickly (distance from the counter to our table which is in the shop; literally less than 10 steps away). expensive as cost is around $22 (w GST)

Have been hearing about this cafe and it’s was my first time there. The chicken wings were great and love the Uji Matcha Green Tea Latte as well. The Pulled Pork & Avocado Eggs Benedict was too salty. Waiting time a little longer even though we have reservations. Didn’t have the chance to try the dessert as we were too full.

  • 3/5 Jodie L. 2 years ago on Google
Standard has dropped over the years. Honey paprika wings still a go-to, crab cake croquette was also well executed with a quirky choice of using english muffin bread which worked out quite well. Coffee per usual, good. Lime tart was too sweet, hazelnut waffle might give me diabetes. Waffle itself was alright in texture, but ice cream not so much, along with unnecessary topping of hazelnut chocolate and chocolate bits that threw this off. Staff were polite, ambience comfy and inviting.

Food - 4.5/5. Food is good and Tater Tots is a must try. Tsukune Sandro is also good here. Service - 5/5. Speedy and polite staff. Cost - 5/5. More affordable than most cafe. I would say that it is wallet friendlier. Cleanliness - 4.5/5. Tidy. Definitely a good cafe that deserves to make effort and try.

I was waiting for a friend and decided to walked in for a cup of coffee. This is a small cozy cafe. While waiting, I notice this is quite a popular place. So we decided to have our brunch here. We read the reviews and follow the recommendations of most of the diners. The pulled pork waffles is delicious, and blends well with the egg and avocado. Portion is just good for 1 or 2 to shared. We also order the crispy chicken and truffle fries, the crispy chicken is worth a mention, it is well marinated and taste really good. Truffle fries is ok, but the size is too much, hope they can have a smaller size instead. Overall a good dining experience, won’t be coming here anytime soon as I stayed at the West but I would come back again if I am nearby. Highly recommend this cafe.

Made reservation so we were seated almost immediately. Food was served fast. Paprika is as good as I last ate before it was renovated. Interior looks so much spacious and more modern. Truffle fries, Benedicts and Latte all are pretty good too. The only downer is since it’s a popular joint, we are only allow to dine for 1 hr. Otherwise definitely recommend for their food.

Mains: Grilled Mushroom & Cheese Sandwich, Lola's breakfast Drinks: Ice Mocha (House Blend), Flat White (Seasonal) All's good, no complains. I would recommend to make reservations as the waiting area is pretty sunny/hot.

Always a delightful treat at Lola’s! Upon arriving, we were greeted with a lovely card with my name for the reservation written on:) The blue swimmer crab rigatoni has got to remain my favourite dish from Lola’s even after so many visits! My friend ordered the truffle cream w/ bacon & mushroom linguine & commented that it was delish too. One will never go wrong with the nacho cheese tator tots! Portions are plenty:) The waiters & waitresses were very welcoming, attentive & warm. Least to say, we’ll definitely be back!

Highly recommended cafe in the east. The first time I had Lola was probably 9 or 10 years ago when the food was mediocre and I didn’t return for many years until they revamped their menu. Now their menu is really amazing and I’ve been returning whenever I feel like having cafe food. Good job to Lola for revamping their menu, aesthetic of the cafe was really pretty after their renovation and there was a long queue outside for Friday dinner. Truffle fries definitely way better than PS cafe, we had the risotto with siobak. The risotto had some barley and it didn’t work for me and my friend. It’s our first time with this combo and felt that it tasted odd. But flavours wise definitely tasted great. Was a bit disappointed that Kovan outlet didn’t have Brussel sprout 😭 Their chocolate cake had nothing special hence I’d suggest to skip this item. Will be back!

started off with charred brussel sprouts which were super fragrant but a bit too sweet. got the honey chicken wings too, they were nice and crispy, slightly sweet but could have done with more seasoning. for mains we got duck leg confit w truffle mash, grilled kurobuta pork collar, black garlic fried chicken burger and spicy crab rigatoni (switched to fettucine). all were decent but def change the pasta for the spicy crab one

The recently refurbished cafe has an impressive appearance! To secure a spot, we made a reservation a week in advance due to the limited seating. As anticipated, the cafe was packed when we arrived. Our order included Nacho Cheese Tater Tots, Bangers & Mash, Spicy Crab Rigatoni, and Bacon Truffle Mushroom Linguine. We highly recommend the Tater Tots and Bacon Truffle Mushroom Linguine! The Ice Matcha Latte was also delightful. For dessert, we had Flourless Chocolate Cake with Ice Cream and Carrot Cake, both of which were decent. However, the ambiance can become quite noisy during peak hours. Nonetheless, the food was served promptly and we will be back!

The best “cafe food” in Singapore, hands down. Get the honey paprika chicken wings — you won’t regret it. The crab cake eggs benedict had exceptional flavours. And the coffee is great too.

  • 5/5 Choon Y. 2 years ago on Google
Haven’t been here since forever and they changed alot. Food is good, chicken wing is awesome, pork collar was soft and flavourful, fish and chips are big and chunky filling. The tater tots still didn’t wow me unlike the ones at working title, but their portion is super generous. Cold brew is sweet and slapped me awake at 9pm. Matcha latte is great too. Overall cozy vibes and definitely date worthy if you plan to punch a medium sized hole in your wallet.

    - Food is honestly great, normal cafe price, around $30/pax. - Crowded, come early, went for the brunch menu and comes with free water. - Bought their $25 shirts, super high quality and really cute

Got the crab cake benedict which was yummy, though the pulled pork benedict was average and the sourdough got soggy after awhile due to the heavy amount of sauces and guacamole. Coffee was good too! Service was attentive, and the food was served relatively fast considering it was a busy weekend. Wouldn’t mind returning to try their other mains! Better to reserve a table to avoid the queue.

We ordered salad with chicken & pulled pork toast. They were really good, very fresh & flavorful. Also have to shout out for their drinks too, esp the Earlgrey tea with passion fruit, very refreshing & not sweet at all. It was so good that I have to order another tea - Oolong to try too We came at 1pm and have to queue for 20mins but it was worth it. Would come back for the salad & tea

Visited on Sunday morning around 9:30am without reservation, the cafe is not packed but by the time I leave around 10.15am, the place is almost full. Ordered Crab Cake Benedict and hot white coffee. Crab Cake Benedict is nice, but I do feel a bit 'jelak' halfway through the second piece. Coffee is great but a bit too sour for my liking, but that's just my personal preference. Staffs are quite friendly and helpful, environment is quite nice but do expect some noise when the place is packed.

Minimalistic cafe with delectable food. Crab meat pasta, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts were well done, though the Brussels sprouts were rather sweet. Fried chicken was nicely fried but they could have marinated the chicken before frying it to give the meat better flavours. Eggs Benedict and waffles were just alright, nothing to rave about. Nice ambience and friendly staff.

👍 Classic taiwanese dishes at pocket-friendly prices of $6: 🍜 𝐎𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐚 - Slurp-worthy with its thick savory sauce, enhanced by the addition of tangy vinegar. Liked that it wasn’t too starchy and served with 5 fresh oysters. 🐷 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐮 𝐫𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐚𝐧 - Decent but personally found the braising sauc...

🫤 Super expensive. Knew this stall nasi lemark is very expensive. But this time is far too much. No matter how I calculated with the price they put up I still cannot tally the amt they charge. Ask them, so rude and ignore me. This will be the last time I go n buy. Will blacklist this stall.
