Will always remember my first visit. I actually walked past the entrance 4 times without realizing! The food here was really good. Fusion Chinese style. Portion is bite sized. Service was also pretty good. Very nice ambiance to relax after work. Although, probably due to the pandemic, we had a time limit for our visit. Having to gobble down our dinner wasn't exactly paying enough respect to the chef. Be sure to make reservations. Walking in on a Friday evening will be quite impossible. The cost is on the high side so be prepared to spend. Parking is quite limited near the restaurant but you can always find cheap and plentiful parking in the nearby buildings.

First time dining here after seeing so many nice reviews, and it most certainly lived up to its reputation, reviews are well deserved as well. Ambience is warm and refreshing. Food is absolutely delicious. Service is amazing, everybody there are friendly and attentive. Definitely worth the price, 10/10 recommend and will definitely return again.

Great restaurant with fantastic service. I’m not usually a fan of fusion… but this is an example of it when done extremely well. The tasting “feed me” menu is absolutely fantastic, with extremely generous portions. Highly recommended.

Contemporary Sichuan food in an upscale interior that unfortunately sounds and looks better than it tastes. The execution of classic dishes like their la zi ji is very average despite the above average price point and some of the more modern dishes like their octopus turn out lukewarm and not as well grilled / flavourful as you might expect.

Food wise was alright Some dishes lack balance in taste - for example, the “find the chicken in the chilli” dish was extremely numbing and was not really pleasant on the taste buds. The jelly dessert was special and unique in terms of taste. I quite enjoyed this dish. The service was good, attentive wait staff who was happy to make recommendations when we asked.

I don't enjoy it at all. Not recommended! All food /drinks presented well. However, that's all! Jelly desert is uneatable.... Other food just taste normal. It is a wrong mixture fusion food. Average Chinese restaurant could cook much better than this.

It was not a very pleasant experience being dismissed by the server especially we were celebrating early valentine and anniversary. I ordered the set for 2 (5 dishes) and the food came pretty slow, so when the 3rd dish came we told server 1 to serve everything together, she noded. After the fish came without dessert, we ask server 2 to serve the dessert together as I am in a hurry. Half way eating the fish I told server 3 to quickly serve the dessert and bill. And after finishing the fish, we ask server 1 to serve me the bill and we left without even having sight of the dessert. The restaurant was only 30% occupied at that moment, and we still needed to request attention to top up the water a few times. Servers are friendly but not attentive. Food was alright eggplant is good, fish is fresh. But with this kind of experience and a $250 bill , it not what I was expecting

My first visit here and surely won’t be my last. Loved everything about this place. Food’s definitely up there, service staff extremely friendly, cocktails are damn delicious. You can ask for a separate wine list as well. I’m not sure which dish is my fav - cause everything tasted phenomenal!

Good reviews are well deserved for innovative Szechuan food. It is something special for an easy date night, ambience is good, music is lively, service is fast abs attentive. Since the dishes are fusion style, I find that some ingredients are giving imbalance taste, nevertheless we finished all because it’s flavourful. Will come again for sure

Some of the best modern twist to Chinese food. I absolutely loved every dish I tried when I was there. Here are two of my favourite dishes. I spent my 18th anniversary there with my wife and we were absolutely impressed! I will definitely dine with you guys again! Unforgettable

You have to give this restaurant a try. This is my 3rd visit. I have always enjoyed their food. Presentation is top notch, like a piece of art. Though it's fusion food, the flavours of East and West are cohesive. In my opinion, the people who created the dishes have a profound knowledge of flavours and texture. Who would have thought of grilled octopus and feta cheese? Amazing flavours!

Last visited in Jan 2024 Sichuan fusion cuisine at its best. Have visited BOAF 3 times in the last 12 months and have tried the Lunch and the Anyi menus. For the Anyi menu, there is a min requirement for 2 folks, but we found the quantity good enough for 3 ppl. All the menu items I’ve tried here were quite flavourful. My favourite items are actually 2 of the starter dishes (crab bruschetta and pork dumplings). Service is fine. In my view, this place is a 100% recommendation for SG residents/visitors

Honestly not a big fan of spice but this place wow-ed me. Dishes are well balanced and well thought about. We had the lunch sharing set which was wonderfully plated, and stepped up from mild to HOT and then back to refreshing with the dessert. Cocktails were great too! Will be back..

Ambience was nice and staffs are attentive and friendly. The sharing menu portion was decent for 2 person and I likes their fusion ideas. The foods were pleasantly plated and tasted really good, which I can say some are even better than those Chinese/ Sichuan restaurants I have been to before.

Presentation of dish is brilliant. The only let down is the taste of food that is a bit of one dimensional. I would recommend chief to focus on stretching in his/her cooking knowledge, every dish I had taste exactly the same as any Chinese food I could get in any other places, but prettier. Service and atmosphere are welcoming with stylish. I would love to come back again.

Memorablr meal! Spectacular blend of western and Sichuan. I love ma-la and am slightly biased but we had a great meal. Went for the sharing platter. Standouts were the avocado spicy toast that had a hint of Sichuan peppercorn, eggplant and the jelly desert. The pork belly clay pot rice with kale was delicious, but the portion was a little too much (not a bad thing). Full pint craft beer on happy hour at $12. Decent. The ambiance had a good mix of indoor plants, chill lighting and quirky but comfy chairs. Service top notch.

The experience at Birds of a Feather is simply outstanding! The food, service and atmosphere are nothing short of excellent. For those who like spicy, find the chicken in the chill is a must order! The barramundi dish left a very good impression in my dining experience. Overall, highly recommend for you to come down and try! I will definitely come back again to try the other dishes.

A very carefully designed location for a well-balanced preparation of such a lavish selection of appetisers, entrees, and desserts. Not to mention the coffee and cocktails they offer. Service was also top-notch, from greeting us to showing us to our table, taking our orders, taking our pictures, and repeatedly checking to make sure everything was okay on our end. You get the impression that everyone is catching up and having a good time, which somehow makes a romantic dinner seem more informal. Friends catching up and couples enjoying a good supper together make up 80/20 of the crowd. Everything about the experience was wonderful, including the ambiance, the cuisine, the service, and even how clean the restrooms were. Well done Birds of A Feather team and management. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! SINGAPORE needs more places like yours. Congratulations for a job well done!

Went there for lunch. There were six of us and we have picked Anyi set menu which gave us a taste of their specialty dishes. There were six dishes completed with a dessert at the end of the course as the menu indicated. We were in awe on how the chef managed to tame Chengdu's mala with a modern twist. All dishes were tastefully done for the eyes and taste buds. We enjoyed every dish and will definitely go back again. Their serving team was awesome, by the way. Thank you for the wonderful dining experience.

used to frequent this cool chic place regularly for their interestint cocktail selection and fusion cuisines however, the standard of the food and service seems to drop. slight improvise to the taste and plating. still prefers the older version especially the buratina sauce and yuxiang eggplant portion strung.

Couldn’t fault anything! Ambience was great, food was done just right and service was ok. “Find the chicken in the chillies” was great, good amount of spiciness and kick Absolutely loved the drink - rain will stop. Suitable for individuals who are looking for something fruity Cake was great, chocolately, mousse like and served with fresh fruits and mango purée. Would recommend.

Overall food quality was good. Had the Chicken in chillis, Baked eggplant with mantou to share. Duck breast was cooked well but portion seemed a little small. Enjoyed the happy hour deals for wine; cocktails are a bit on the pricey side.

Styles it’s self as western with Szechuan influence. Read toned down flavour and tiny portions. The environment is nice, but you do feel like you’re on the set of a Korean drama. Overall a disappointing experience. Save your money and hit up an authentic joint.

Service was great but insanely long wait. I ordered takeout at 6.45 pm and the food was supposed to be ready for collection by 7.15 pm and yet I was just told that food will be only be ready at 7.45 pm. this is unacceptable for takeout because the idea of takeout is to avoid waiting right? Because of the delay, I need to take cab to my friend's place as the food was meant for my friend.

Excellent Sichuan based fusion restaurant in the hip and happening Amoy street area. The place is much bigger than what it looks from outside and the decor is extremely nice. Great service all round too. We had the chili chicken, crab tartare and pan gyoza to start off with along with couple of glasses of wine. Food is really good. Had the oriental Bolognese and basque cheesecake to finish. Good food and good drinks with great service and ambience. Definitely a place you can revisit.

This is one of the best places in town for amazing lunch! The ambiance, service and food is worth the trip there. The amazing part of the food is that it’s not too spicy and the ingredients and herbs are so delicately put together that just lifts the spirits up! The floor was a bit sticky, which didn’t leave a good first impression. But the food was decent. What surprised me is that the spice is not overwhelming. It’s more numbing than hot spice. My favorite dish is “find chicken in the chili.” I don’t like the dessert though.

How have I not patronised this place much earlier? Staff was patient, helpful and friendly. Good music, ambience and environment. I was surprised to see the price of cocktails but my osmanthus tequila sour was worth every sip. Everything we ordered were on point - bruschetta, eggplant, la zi ji, octopus and the MVP has got to be the barramundi chazuke which I can’t get enough of. It has taken up so much of my soul I have forgotten photos of our desserts…

Good ambience for either a group casual meal or dinner for two. A fusion of Sechuan, very unique. Let them know in advance that you are celebrating a birthday and they’ll add a candle into the desert. For desert I’ll recommend the glutinous rice, a must try.

The initial impression when we walked in wasn't great, when my husband and I walked in there were 3 waiters behind and around the bar counter, they looked up and didn't acknowledge us or greet us, we had to start walking up to them to be properly greeted. However, once we were seated the service and food was excellent. The eggplant, spicy chicken, and the wantons were great appetizers. My burger was delicious and done well. There was a time limit to our reservation and we were politely reminded twice.

The vibe is much better than food, obviously. Not authentic Sichuan food (of course, but no one comes here for real Sichuan food, right?) but the food are not disappointing. I like baby octopus and pig ear, risotto is super nice, worth trying. However the mini fortune pot is quite average. For their tea drinks, I expect at least real brewed tea leaves instead of lipton tea bag, which charges $8. That's really a bummer.

Been here twice now. Very nice interiors, not so great service, small portions. Clever sounding menu but makes you wonder what's the point in fusion food just for the sake of fusion. Many dishes like the Asian style duck with the buttery mash and garden fairies vegetables with parmesan were just confusing. Stick to their strictly Sichuan dishes like the chili chicken and you'll be fine.

Amazing Amazing food and ambience! We celebrated our anniversary and got the best table in the house, by the plants and wine rack! We got the slimy noodles, find the chicken in the chillies (too spicy imo), fried gyoza, ribs and the cheesecake. Cocktails included, everything was phenomenal! Can't wait to go back :)

Very conveniently located, just few steps away from a MRT station, parking is also not a big problem. The ambience/atmosphere (includes the washroom😄) of this place definitely is 5 stars, service standard is also very good. The food quality is also very good. The only problem I found is the pricing of the foods and drinks (some are very reasonable priced but some are really overpriced), if these problems can be solve then everything is perfect for this place.

(Translated by Google) 🌟🌟🌟🌟 My favorite is the open kitchen 👍The glass showcase is clear at a glance! 【Find the Chicken in the Chillies】Traditional spicy chicken, fried dried chili fragrant, the chicken is also crispy and delicious, adding the fried garlic slices and pepper, the taste is very rich. [Fortune Mini Hotpot] Sichuan-style bowl chicken is an appetizer. The clear soup has a strong hemp flavor. The ingredients include shrimp, cauliflower, potato chips, and fungus. The taste is fairly authentic, and the spicy spicy is very appetizing. 【Baked Eggplant】Similar to the improved version of fish-flavored eggplant, except for the unique presentation, the taste is average, but the fried buns with special sauces are very delicious. [Zayjang Noodles] I think it's ok. 【How is it】Absolutely! This is my favorite among them. The taste is fresh and the whiskey is just right 👍 We came during lunch time, sitting on the side of the kitchen, near the skylight. It happened to be raining this day, which can be said to be unique. (Original) 🌟🌟🌟🌟 最喜欢的就是开放式厨房👍玻璃橱窗一目了然! 【Find the Chicken in the Chillies 】传统的辣子鸡,爆炒的干辣椒香气扑鼻,鸡肉也是香脆可口,加入了爆锅后的蒜片和花椒,口感十分丰富。 【How is it】绝了! 这是里面我最喜欢的。口感清新,威士忌恰到好处👍 我们是午饭时间来的,坐在厨房的侧面,靠近天窗的地方。这天正好下雨,可以说别有风味。

My dad, wife, and I absolutely loved our maiden dining experience at Birds of a Feather! The ambience was lovely especially with the indoor plants and flowers 🌸 The staff were all super friendly and professional; we chatted with the amazing boss Megan and we were served by Ernest who gave us great F&B recommendations. Speaking of food, the Oriental Bolongaise and risotto were scrumptious, the eggplant appetiser was fantastic, and the popular Find the Chicken in the Chillis dish was so unique! The white wine was stellar too 🥂Be sure to reserve a table in advance as it will get busy even on weekday nights. Thank you so much! We will certainly be back 👍

Awfully disappointed. The ma la obliterated my taste buds leaving me to identify the ingredients through texture, sight n description. Portions did not reflect the price. The dish, finding the chicken, literally meant it. For a foodie who looks for good tasty food, I wouldn't revisit.

Nice ambience but food was soso and price is on the high side. Oriental bolognaise was the best among food that we ordered (counter clockwise: green fairies, signature (beef) burger, lonely hotpot and oriental bolognaise).

Love the food here! Chicken in the chillies was surprisingly tender and the right amount of spicy. The barramundi in the pickled mustard sauce was delicious, fish is crispy on the outside and tender inside while the broth is so refreshing and tasty and bursting with flavors. Gyoza was only average though. Sparkling sangria is delicious and definitely not weak like other restaurants. Will be back to try other items!

Picked by a colleague for a lunch getogether. Looks like another run of the mill restaurant from the outside but opens up to a lively cavernous den on the inside. I am not at all spice-tolerant in a fusion sichuan cuisine setting. But the food was excellent - traditional but with a twist to appeal to hipsters. I steered clear of the fiery dishes. Love the caramel cheesecake.

  • 5/5 K W. 3 years ago on Google
Fantastic modern sichuan food. Birds of a feather exceed my expectations on their rendition of sichuan cuisine. We had 2 starters (eggplant and fried chicken) and 2 mains (duck and risotto). Flavours were well balanced and all the dishes were executed well.

Pretty decent fusion Sichuan food. Every single plate has a very nice presentation and they were also delicious, especially the oxtail soup which is my favorite. We didn't quite like the fried chicken since it was not so crispy as how original Sichuan fried chicken is supposed to be. We loved the ambience. From the outside the place looks very small. However it is pretty spacious inside and the deco inside is nice. The staffs were very attentive.

It’s my second time here and I have to say that both times are worth my time and calories. The wait staff are all very presentable and polite, will not hesitate to explain the menu to you. We already had dinner elsewhere and wanted to pop by for drinks and some light snacks. Glad they accommodated us at 9pm. We ordered a bottle of sparkling wine and also tried the cocktail Rain Will Stop. Absolutely delicious! The yuzu taste shines through. Tempted to try other cocktails next time. Order the fiery chicken dish. Can skip the eggplant.

I prefer to eat the mapo tofu with normal plain rice instead of Japanese rice ($19++), I feel like eating glu when both are "sticky". The cheesecake ($11++) taste average, it just a normal cheesecake with caramel source as topping. Find the chicken in the chilies ($16++) and gyoza ($16++) both are good. The walkway to the toilet is very dark, I can't find the toilet and almost went into their kitchen..haaa.. Customer service can be better..

Nice interior decor if you are sitted deeper inside the restaurant instead of tables near the bar/door. Very decent Sichuan Fusion food but dissapointing La Zi Ji though :( . It wasn't flavourful with the normal numbness and spiciness, and the deep fried chicken felt as though it was leftovers from last night. A place that I would come back with my gal pals instead of with my family or husband.

Atas place. $$$ But for the food quality and service, worth it. Chinese fusion. Feels like masterchef kitchen. Very innovative and tasty food. My favourite is the oxtail soup. And the sauce that goes with it was amazing. Wahyu sirloin too, was so yummmm

Loved everything about this restaurant, super posh yet chill and the service was amazing!! If you love Sichuan cuisine I think you would love this place, it has that signature Sichuan pepper with a local twang and everything ordered was worth the price! Would like to give a shoutout to the fried potato and sweet potato in chili!!

Rarely have we eaten in a restaurant in Singapore where the food is exceptional throughout. From the appetisers to the mains and dessert, each dish was exquisitely crafted to reflect the fusion between Western and Sichuan cuisine. The service was prompt and the food was served swiftly with generous portions. We had the Xiang Su duck, Hong Shao pork ribs, find the chicken and eggplant appetisers and glutinous rice for dessert. This place deserves a Michelin Star. Simply Amazing. Thank you for the wonderful culinary experience!!

Have yet to try the mains here but the ambience and service are really great! Tried the cheesecake which was good though I do not recommend the Yuzu drink which was $12. Tasted too acidic.

Came for here for a celebration dinner with my fiancée & tried their $89 tasting menu - which they allowed for sharing - and it was absolutely fantastic!!! The portions were generous, the dishes were innovative and everything hit the right notes! We both don’t drink so didn’t opt for the pairing option. Our favorite dishes were the yushang Spanish prawn and the fish stew! We also added the spicy diced chicken (which is super great but maybe not the best match to tasting menu since it’ll numb your tongue - oops)! Already making plans to come back! Probably best meal of 2020 and also — 10/10 service!!! Shout out to Ernest & Jay - our awesome servers who really took a lot of feedback, explained the food, and paid so much attention to the little things :) Thanks guys for an awesome evening!!

Food was something a bit different which is great. The staff were great, some dishes I loved like the burnt Japanese potato… some dishes were okay (but when I say okay, Im comparing to fine dining level so if I was comparing to your average restaurant then 5 stars would be given). I would 100% return & saw the value in the pricing.

Visited this place last evening. Loved loved loved the service provided by the team. Food was great, but what topped it off was the ambience. Interior design of the place was beautiful & cosy. Shoutout to Ivan for making complimentary cocktails of his own creation that were both aesthetic and delicious for my peer and I, and Jay for his attentive service: Jay saved me twice from embarrassing myself due to wardrobe malfunction & for forgetting my phone. Will definitely be back again! Thank you Birds of a Feather for the memorable evening.

Birds of A Feather at Amoy Street has soared to a greater height with a repertoire of new mainstays. I have been a fan of Executive Chef Eugene See's interpretation of Sichuan cuisine, combining Sichuan and western flavours. The new menu once again offers surprises, giving classic Sichuan offerings a unique twist.

Our party of 4 visited for dinner and we found the food rather underwhelming, and downright disappointing considering the good things we had heard. We had 5 dishes - the la zi ji, oxtail soup, sweating mussels, duck confit, and mapo tofu. At least the chunks of la zi ji was juicy, compared to the drier but more crispy versions elsewhere. However the chicken itself lacked the flavor of the sichuan peppercorns and the heat of the chillis. And it turned out rather oily too. The oxtail soup was good and I enjoyed it, except that it seemed to be missing that large piece of what seems to be bread (?) that i have seen in photos of the dish. The oxtail was tender and gelatinous, quite delicious overall, with the soup having a robust body and a pleasantly herbal flavour. The duck was ok, no complaints about the taste overall but it wasn't very sichuan-related. The "sichuan pickles" that were supposed to accompany it weren't deserving of the name. The portion was paltry too. The sweating mussels were tasty at first, but the flavours became overpowering as we continued eating. And we were sharing the dishes. There was way too much sichuan peppercorns (a higher concentration than anywhere I have seen) which left an overpowering numbness, making it pretty one dimensional. The mapo tofu was terrible. It is criminal to charge that price for something that could have come out of a cai fan stall for a fraction of the price. It was bland, no distinctive flavour of anything, and certainly no beef (maybe there were a few specks that I missed) that should have been there according to the menu. So $19 for a bowl of almost plain tofu and white rice. This was the most disappointing dish I have had in a long, long time. Overall, it seems the restaurant has been massively overhyped by hipsters who dont know any better and are sold by the gorgeous decor (the chair/sofa thingys weren't very comfortable for dinner), slick marketing, and inflated prices (expensive therefore desirable). Based on this meal, there is nothing that would make me go back without a good reason. I wrote in to feedback but did not even receive an acknowledgement. A more satisfying meal can be found elsewhere for a fraction of the price.

Bruschetta was superb. Lobster was okay - didn't feel like it went well with the Mala. Braised pork comes with truffle, not bad. Dessert was great with a very interesting combination of flavours. Really liked my Happy Planet cocktail too. Placed definitely passed the vibes check. Slightly pricey otherwise a definite 5 stars for sure.

We stopped by for cocktails and dessert after dinner on a Friday night - restaurant inside was fully booked but we sat at a table outside which had surprisingly comfortable chairs. The bird's gimlet was deliciously refreshing and the chocolate dessert was luscious. The green tea cake was beautifully presented but flavours were a bit too subtle for me, although my friend loved it. Would definitely come again for cocktails and dessert!

Ambiance and food is well done. The staff are very attentive and will answer all questions. Make sure to check on the Angus OP size - minimum is over 600g so definitely not for a small group. The only item that wasn’t very good was the spicy slime shine but everything else was delicious.

Szechuan cuisine served here. Chicken in chillies is good, other dishes that we tried were pretty average for the price. Fantastic service from restaurant staff.

  • 5/5 Li Y. 9 months ago on Google
Tourist friendly place for fusion Sichuan Chinese food lovers! Perfect for people who can't tolerate spicy food. Even though most of the dishes look red and intimidating, the food here is not spicy. Dishes that are usually spicy from authentic Chinese restaurants is made with less chilli here. Despite the cut on chilli, all dishes are still yummy and flavourful. I feel that their focus here is more on spices. Cocktails are interesting and refreshing. All Chinese food dishes that local Chinese are familiar with has a fancy English name here. Example, "Find the Chicken in the Chillies" is "辣子鸡 (La Zi Ji - Sichuan Mala Chicken)" and "Barramundi Chazuke" is 酸菜鱼 (Suan Cai Yu - Sauerkraut Fish). The plating of food is nicely done. Food is good for sharing as the portion is quite big. However, air-conditioning was bad and the sofa was uncomfortable. Was sitting at the back of the restaurant (near the kitchen/panda clown painting) and it was hot. Was sweating throughout the meal but overall, I enjoyed the food and drinks!

  • 4/5 Hui Juan S. 10 months ago on Google
Had a birthday celebration and the ambience here was 10/10, with a good natural lighting in some corners that lifts the mood. Will recommend the sharing set for 2, the portion is huge, we had to pack the rice to-go in the end. Highly recommend the avocado bruschetta, Yu Xiang eggplant and slime shine. The yu Xiang eggplant tasted like the braised eggplant but the biscuit on top just adds a great texture and complexity to the dish. The sauce of the slime shine was very appetising, tangy and gives you the mala tingling sensation. The potato noodles soaks up the sauce and pairs great together. However, there were a few misses, with the Brussels sprouts and the jelly dessert. The Fusion style of the Brussels wasn’t to our taste and there were parts that were too charred and bitter. The jelly looked amazing but was too complicated and the flavours of all the component did not go well together. Overall, will still recommend to visit and try, a unique concept.

  • 4/5 Bruised L. 9 months ago on Google
Atmosphere and vibe is very nice with trees as part of the decor. Service is friendly however a few younger servers lacks finesse or common sense to basic customer service requests which would be expected of such an establishment that comes with a premium price. Food was generally themed around sichuan style and must say a few really good dishes, while some were okay. Must try: - birds avo bruschetta with crab (great flavor and texture) - pork belly with truffle claypot rice (heavy but very yums) - mapo tofu (good level of heat and numbing) - dry chili chicken (crisp and spicy) Big skip: - veg with yam noodles (bland and underwhelming compared to the must try) - the jelly desert (no clue what it’s supposed to taste) All in all, it’s still a good place and I’ll come back again knowing what dishes to order now and hopefully elevated service levels.

Food was superb. Explosion of flavours that we thoroughly enjoyed. Staff were extremely friendly as well. Great place for an anniversary or birthday meal!

  • 3/5 Kiku C. 8 months ago on Google
It’s not fusion, it’s combination…but first the wins: Crabmeat bruschetta was amazing, it had this cold, refreshing Scandinavian taste. So, so good. Eggplant was fine too. The remaining things in the lunch sharing menu grew increasingly dubious: 1. The fish was overcooked (blasphemy for Chinese food), and served with pickles, pesto and tomatoes. The flavours came beside each other, but did not mix. I was a little sad that the fish had no eyes for me to eat, but maybe that’s just me not being classy. 2. (Add on) Dumplings: Chinese dumplings in a sage espuma, smeared with a spoonful of pumpkin, on a bed of LaoGanMa spiked with raisins and nuts. Again, flavours together that didn’t gel. 3. The pear dessert was essentially snow fungus with just a little bit of rojak sauce. I feel like I would love the kitchens output alot more if they didn’t combine these flavours in this manner. Beautiful setting.

Pretty place with good atmosphere. I took a fish in spicy soup (sorry I could not remember the name 😄). The presentation was awesome and they put the soup out of a casserole in the main bowl with the fish. I think everything was great but they should have poured less soup and let me work out the volume.

Our party of 2 ordered 4 mains - Eggplant, Laziji, Mapo tofu, Pork belly and 4 cocktails - 2 gin base, a tequila sour and a grapefruit negroni. Our favourite dish would have to be the Pork Belly with rice given the very tender meat and the complex flavours of the truffle, kale and sauces. The eggplant is also commendable as the dish contained interesting elements such as the homemade crumbles and cheese. However, we minus 1 star for the food as we think that the other Chinese dishes are on par with other China cuisines elsewhere. What made our experience even more awesome was the calm, vibey, aesthetic and dimly lit ambience of the restaurant and the attentive and very engaging staffs. Special shout-out to Ivan for his bespoke cocktail drinks and great service. He explained to us the drinks in details and gave great recommendations based on your preference. We think that the cocktails were the most outstanding of our dinner given the unique flavours and liquors used were of good quality and with a generous amount. Good dinner overall, lovely place to chill and enjoy the night. Would highly recommend if you haven’t visited.
