We decided to stop by on a rainy Sunday afternoon. The customer service was excellent. They have enough staff to attend to their customers needs even if the place was packed. I love their coffee and chocolate drink. When it comes to mains, mac and cheese was my favourite. Pork ribs was also tasty ,however it was a bit dry. Burnt cheese cake was 👌

Saturday morning brunch, crowded but sufficient seating. Service was on point and timing for food arrival was as mentioned at the counter. Tried the burger with beef patty, bacon, sunny side egg and lettuce. Burger was good as expected. Tried their espresso tonic, intriguing and definitely acquired taste. Indoor or alfresco seating available.

First time trying their food and coffee. I would said their customers service is good and food is nice but was disappointed with the hot coffee. Order a double shot white but the taste of the coffee is to acidic and the after taste is strong. As for the cold brew it taste much better.

Totally love flag white breakfast menu and service! Their fish & chips / beef burger is very very tasty! Its reasonable customer service (we went on a crowded time slot) and coffee quality is good and strong too. Total damage at $45 (there about) will recommend others to try!

A nice cafe to have your meals anytime of the day. Great food and good choice of coffee at reasonable price. You can even have your craft beer treat here, at happy hour rate before 8pm.

Place was rustic and chill. Drinks and cake were frankly quite average. White cold brew was on the mild side, flat white has a distinct roasted flavor. Place has got a lot of power plugs. Indoor seats and outdoor porched area. Limited parking space

Comfortable place to get brunch. The mocha as good and liked that there were non dairy options. I liked that I could customise my own breakfast plate and the scrambled eggs were good but might be slightly under flavoured for some. However they will bring salt and pepper if needed. The wings were good and crispy but the batter was a bit thick. Fish & chips were served hot and crispy and really hit the spot. Customer service is excellent, initially we were seated at the high seats and they offered to switch us to one of the low tables when it was available as it was more comfortable for my mother.

Liked the avocado banana smoothie! Had a yummy breakfast. Went for the brioche and it came nicely toasted. Enjoyed the eggs, mushrooms, bacon and tomato. (Its nice that u can pick what u like to eat for the mix and match breakfast) :)

The food was so so. Chicken wings with Parmesan was a bit salty coz of the cheese but has a nice crispness exterior without being dry inside. The cranberry ribs didn’t have enough sauce. Couldn’t taste anything special about the sauce. The ratio of meat to bone, is like 1:3 😵‍💫

Came here on a Sunday afternoon Crowd levels are relatively high, but enough outdoor and indoor seating. Water is complimentary. Personally I think the Flat white and Mocha is quite acidic and mediocre. Burnt cheese cake sold is from Keong Saik Bakery which was really good. Most patrons got their brunch menu. Overall very chill place but probably won't come again for the coffee. Maybe will try other things.

Enjoyable neighborhood cafe. Had their signature burger. Enjoyable, huge portion. Their banana peanut butter smoothie is ok. Hojicha also. Also enjoyed the vegetarian lasagna

Had late lunch here on a weekday, and surprisingly it was still very crowded. Would have preferred to have a low seating table but was brought to a high seating table. Nevertheless, service was still great :) We had iced matcha with oat milk and iced latte. Both were really yummy and for the matcha- it definitely tasted like good and atas matcha powder used hahahaha. As for food, we ordered burger and bbq pork ribs. Both were really yummy, and very very filling. We also could change our sides, so we had tater tots and french fries. Would come back again!

After hiking in Bukit Timah, a branch is really a great idea! The ice latte is great and the reason that I will come back! You can assemble your own brunch elements and everything is delicious! Especially the mushroom 🍄 And the staff are really nice and friendly! The bread choice is not so many, sourdough is good for a healthy meal. ❤️ this place!

I had lunch here on a Friday. It was busy but the service was still very good, friendly and attentive. The food was good and portions were quite large for the affordable prices charged. The flat white was also much better than a lot of other cafes that charge much more. I’ll be back again!

One of my favourite places to have a coffee and dine at! My personal favourites are the Fish & Chips and Chorizo Mac & Cheese because they taste great and are a huge hearty portion! The regular fries, sweet potato fries and truffle fries were all great! The Pork Schnitzel was a huge hearty portion, but the pork itself seemed a little thin. The Chicken Parmigiana was a little disappointing today as it seemed quite burnt and small compared to everything else. Mentioned in other reviews as well, but many menu items are fried, perhaps some grilled meat/fish, pasta or pizza may be a good addition to consider. I love the coffee and I love that their iced coffees are actually double shots by default and not simply a watered down version of the hot one with ice. :-) The choice of beans also allowed me to opt for a flavour profile I prefer! (Notes for Paradise & Folk Yard are Chocolatey & Nutty / Fruity & Acidic respectively.) They now have a wider range of beers and spirits at a reasonable price which is great! Water is available indoors, it’s self service. They are also pet friendly. Limited parking available.

truffle fries were good, fish & chips and chicken cutlet were generously portioned, offering a satisfying meal. There was a prevalence of fried items, which might be something to consider. Additionally, the coffee was a standout, adding a nice touch to the overall experience.

Went on a rainy Sunday morning and it was already half filled. My family and I enjoyed the meal. - Flat white Love the nutty blend. It’s good and would return just for this - Cold brew A little acidic, compared to flat white. Slightly sweetened. Pretty good - Flag your own brunch (mushrooms, sausage, croissant, eggs) Definitely a winner. I love every item except for the sausage, which tastes healthy - Fish and chips Crispy batter and nice flaky white or dory fish. It’s yummy. Tater tots were prepared well too

There’s quite a handful of parking lots right outside which is really great. Love the space and coffee served was great- the cute bear latte art is a bonus. Came in before lunch crowd and ordered a burger but thought was strange other tables that came in after me had their mains served while I still had nothing- waited for a good 35 minutes before I decided to cancel my lunch. Such a pity.

The main course here is huge to point of unnecessarily big portion as I struggle to finished it despite being a big eater. Good to bring a friend to share the food but again you may ended up ordering 2 mains and the wastage persists. Food itselfs was above average, one of the very few places to serve Pork Schnitzel. Supposedly a thin slab of deep fried breaded meat, kudos to them that the meat was crispy yet still juicy enough though the onion sauce doesn't seems to go well with it. The Avacado Banana Shake was very good but at $9, was expecting a bigger cup, esp ironically small when place beside the food.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was buzzing. We managed to get a seat indoors by the corner. The service crew here provided great attention to us from taking the orders to making sure our orders came and when it took a little longer, they took the effort to assure us it’s coming! Really appreciate it. The food was great in my opinion. Had the bangers and mash : very velvety and well seasoned mash with a generous serving of sauce and the sausages were cooked well with the insides moist still. We also ordered the wings which was a little bloodied inside for my liking but my partner ate it all up so it’s just my personal preference. The burger was great as well with a side of tater tots (changed it from fries). Tater tots were crispy enough for me without it being too hard on the outside/ too sweet. Overall a great experience!

Weekday brunch + working through lunch time till about 2:15pm. Staff/owner was super welcoming and didn't hesitate to get me a seat when I said I intend to do some work. Coffee (white) was nice with option for a larger cup at slightly higher price. Should've gotten that since I was working. Lunch was delicious as well. Apparently the Chicken Parmi was signature so I had that. Succulent chicken thigh, crispy batter, with melted cheese on mushrooms and a tomato base, feels like a pizza made of chicken.

Affordable price for quality food! Serving is big enough even for a big eater like me and the finger food is good enough on it's own, ideal for a meal or drinking buddies. To the pawrents out there, the outdoor seats are pet friendly!

I thought there would be a forever wait for a table but rocked on up and immediately had a place to sit. Food was super yum and the coffee was solid. Plus … tater tots. I love a good breakfast and this place it’s the spot. Highly recommend.

2nd time here, the mains were slightly disappointing. Croissant would have been better with butter, egg is tasteless although nicely made, smoke salmon tasted like it’s been kept for awhile. Mushrooms not savoury. Tater tots is good though, this is consistent. Would say, didn’t quite satisfy my all-day breakfast palate craving. Hopefully taste standards can be improved. Good space to hang though with pets.

A really good brunch place - albeit a little out of the way and have very limited seatings. Had the chicken parmagiana and the brunch plate with scrambled eggs, mushrooms, pork sausage and brioche. The parmagiana really took the trophy, was delightful and well marinated. The brunch plate was one of the most value of money I have tried. Iced white was good, albeit a bit weak. Mocha was well balanced with pronounced chocolate taste, although weak in terms of its coffee.

Wonderful and cozy place for brunch. Food is tasty and staff is nice and helpful! Great place for lazy Sunday to read a book while enjoying coffee and some finger food or an actual meal!

We came without reservation on a Saturday late morning, the place is already full and have to wait to be seated. The waiting time is approx. 30mins, queuing system is auto, register the mobile number and a text message will be sent when the sets are available. The cafe is medium size with indoor and outdoor seatings We quickly ordered the popular chicken parmigiana and Panko breaded fish and chips. The waiting time is a bit long, maybe because it’s a weekend, when the food is served, the chicken look a bit burned but the taste is awesome, full of flavour and well marinated, just the portion is a bit small, the fish and chips for me is slightly better than average, nothing to wow about, well cooked and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The coffee was a bit cold, I would prefer my coffee to be served a bit warmer. Will definitely be back once again.

Ordered two build-your-own breakfasts. Amazing scrambled eggs. Bad airplane croissant. Average mushrooms and tater tots. Disappointed that cold brews were sold out. Coffee lattes were decent and served promptly. Waitress managing the door was especially courteous and hospitable. We would have ordered panko fish and chips but it seemed like everyone was waiting for it so we guessed not. Would come back again to try it though.

Limited free parking available in front of the cafe. Service staff are friendly and helpful. We ordered: - Latte double shot: this was quite strong but really delicious - Hash tater tots: it was served hot and very crispy. The sauce provided went very well with chilli (you have to request for this) - Salad: it was fresh and appetising - Build your own brunch: the scrambled eggs were soft and fluffy and was very tasty when you add the salt and pepper. The croissant was fragrant and goes very well with butter and jam (you can request for these too). The baked beans was delicious (I think they mixed some meat in this) and the avocado was soft and creamy. The sour dough toast was very crispy too.

Five star review for this cafe serving up a hearty brunch - perfect for that post gym fuel or to credit your morning hike nearby at Bukit Timah / Rifle Range. The all day brunch was clean and tasted wholesome - pumpkin was sweet and roasted until it caramelized. The beef burger was average as it could have been dripping with juices more. Fries were good. Flat White no doubt was rich and creamy so just get the large as it has an additional shot. Space is rather small so you gotta wait for tables if you're coming with a big group.

Appreciated availability of vegetarian mains options! The service staff was very friendly and chatty. Coffee and drinks were served quickly but food took slightly longer albeit still acceptable waiting time. I loved my kale quinoa burger. The sausage dish also looked delicious. Quite a decent cafe experience. I imagine it would be a nice place to enjoy coffee in the afternoons. Only down side is that my high chair table was a bit close to the next table. Overall still a good cafe experience 👍 will be back!

Pretty good coffee. Nice place to catch up or have meal. But service could be improved and perhaps more friendly given the price, also the open kitchen is quite noisy with glass noise etc. The tonic espresso is pretty good though.

😠 The food suck, medium rare steak chewy like rubber, lamb chop same as well. If you want anything good, go for the chicken & fish.
