Located in Nee Ann City. There are various branches in Singapore. In Nee Ann City, this branch is one of the bigger one. Wide choices of food, there are different main courses available, from pasta to steak. Also the mushroom soup was good. There are also an extreme choice of drinks available- coffee, tea, chocolate and milk drinks. You will be spoilt for choice. Not forgetting the pastries, that you can pick for tea time. The waffles seem good. Will try it the next time. The prices can still be considered reasonable based on the location and quality of the food served. Will consider to come back the next time. Good place to chill out.

Highly recommend their Miso cod fish . The crossaint and cheese ham toast is average.

Nice environment, tasty food, reasonable price and portion, shocking service from the top to bottom. Only one waitress managed to greet us, all others, including the manager standing at entrance, makes me feel I owe them 1 million dollar and hate me to be there. I have been to many Paul around the world, this is the worst (not one of the worst, the worst). Such a pity as food is actually tasty. Not sure if they just had a bad day together....

Our recent dining experience at Paul Singapore was a delightful journey of flavors and textures. The star of the day was undeniably the Salmon Wellington – a masterpiece of flaky and crispy dough, perfectly balanced mushrooms, and moist, flavorful salmon. It was a culinary triumph that left a lasting impression. While the Egg Benedict presented itself well, it leaned towards the ordinary without any standout elements. However, the good presentation added a touch of elegance to the dish. Notably, our daughter's initial craving for a palmier was met with sheer enjoyment until the arrival of the Salmon Wellington. From that moment on, she couldn't get enough of the savory delight. Paul Singapore impresses with high-quality ingredients, ensuring a full and contented stomach. A recommendation for those seeking a gastronomic adventure that combines excellence and satisfaction.

Food were top quality. You must try the Lobster Laksa Pasta! Amazingly, it has Laksa’s texture and the lobster was really succulent. Cod fish was great as well… tender and melts in your mouth. Desserts are also wonderful but not the most memorable. Personally, I recommend the cream brûlée.

Located in Takashimaya Shopping center, this bakery is very difficult to spot as it's located near the corner of the building. Ambience gave western feel as the distance between each table was very close. Upon arrival, the staffs were very busy as no one attending the counter for take out. Limited space for dine in, don't come over around rush hour. Initially i want to have lunch there but since there's no seat available, i just opt for take out. Bought their croissants. The croissant was okay, it's not the best that i've tasted, very bouncy and not crispy 🤔 i think because it's baked since morning and the bread itself already got contact with open air thus become harden. i like the fact they sprinkle powdered sugar on top as it's tasted somewhat bearable. Scoring time; Food 3/5 Taste 3/5 Price 2/5 Service 1/5 Ambience 4/5 Location 3/5 Overall score of 2.67 out of 5 stars, the only issue was the location. Would i come back? Not sure. No one was attending to me when i was waiting in the counter until I called one of the staff ☹️ Would i recommend this place? Pass.

Nice quiet environment. Staff are friendly. The salmon sandwich was delicious, and the filling generous. Chicken salad is well done. Dessert with cappuccino, tea and tarts were just nice to sweeten up my afternoon.

Severely understaffed and they all move like slow lorises. It takes ages to catch their attention and repeated reminders just to get a glass of water refilled. Waitress forgot our order (like come one does it make sense for 3 people to be eating just 1 plate of pasta?) and we only figured out after waiting 30 min. 2 stars for the salted egg soft shell crab pasta which was pretty good - we liked that the whole dish wasn’t doused in cloying cream (as most salted egg dishes tend to be) although the crab could have been a little less fried. Waiting for our burger as I type this.

Wide array of pastries attractively displayed. Service crew on a busy Saturday evening was courteous and efficient. Both the cashier and the gentleman packing my pastry for takeaway greeted me warmly and were friendly. I didn’t experience any of the negative vibes from the bad reviews written by earlier patrons. The apricot Danish was genenrous in size. But extremely sour. It looks nice and sweet in the display but was unexpectedly tart. Had to drizzle some honey on my own to make it palatable. Would still love to try their other pastries on display.

we loved everything we ordered. portion size was good and filling. Sirloin steak and beef short ribs were delicious, tender and well balanced. We ordered truffle fries and I think the staff were attentive enough to notice that and automatically changed the fries in the steak dish to curly fries.

Good ambience and food, with ordering and payment possible to be completely done online. I ordered a Breakfast Steak and Egg all day breakfast and there was quite a bit of variety in the spread. The steak was done just right for me too. Juicy and tender without being bloody.

Had brunch with my mom. Yummy pastries. Attentive staff (especially the male server who attended to us - we were at Table 300 from about 11.50am) and nice ambience. No pork no lard too!

Ordered pasta at 615pm, it only arrived at 715pm. Service staff explained that several orders for specific dishes were not sent to the kitchen and hence were late. Diners around me were affected too. Hope it is an once off issue.

Bad experience on the first day of the New Year. Service was below average. Everyone was unhappy, guess they were shorthand! Pastries were nice but overpriced. Truffle fries wasn’t served fresh and hot hence it wasn’t nice. Sitting area outside the restaurant was hot with the spot lights shining so brightly. Will definitely not patronise again

First time at French Bakery Paul Cafe & Restaurant. Tried the Bread & Butter Pudding and I have to say it is tasty! Love my Cafe Medici. Overall, a wonderful experience thanks to a service staff named Jenny. My god she is so friendly and awesome service provided not only with us but also to other patrons.

Came because of HSBC entertainer app. Love the food here and price is slightly pricier than a typical cafe. Service is very good and there are a lot of staff around that will serve you. There was a short queue when we came on a Sunday but the queue moved quite quickly. Definitely recommended.

Located conveniently in Ngee Ann City with a great view of Orchard Road. The outlet is short-staffed so our food took quite a while to come. Staff were attentive and quick. Food was totally worth the wait. We had the prawns and scallop pasta and the beef stroganoff pasta. Both cooked to perfection and very very tasty. The dessert was amazing. Waffles done just right and goes very well with the ice cream. Seats a little too close to each other for comfort in my opinion.

As you can see from the facial expression of my friend here, he is definitely satisfied with the food served however it seems like he is harboring ill intentions for e lady who served us because she was moody all the time. - 1 star for that

Had breakfast and coffee here today with my beautiful wife Thelma. Food was excellent and the coffee was even better! I don't like all the "fufu" coffee flavors, just a good Americano is fine with me. Very good coffee!!! Jenny also provided excellent customer service! 10 STARS! Thank You!

Went for dinner using the Entertainer's 1 for 1 deal. Had the salted egg soft shell crab pasta and beef stroganoff pasta. Healthy serving portion. Salted egg pasta was good served with 2 soft shell crabs and taste was well balanced. But the pasta was slightly overcooked. When they first served the beef stroganoff, there was a strand of hair in the pasta. Immediately alerted the staff and asked for an exchange. Waited another 10-15mins but the second time, the so-called seared sirloin steak (supposed to be medium rare) for beef stroganoff pasta was way overcooked. The beef was almost well done and abit tough. Didnt alert the staff as i didnt want to wait again for the food. Within a meal i witnessed inconsistency in food preparation which i think should not have happened considering the higher price range and as a well known establishment.

Been here before and enjoyed our outing today as well . Brunch was nice . Service was quick and I like the deals they have for breakfast before 11.30 . 2 mains and 2 drinks for about 50 bucks . Not bad , being in Orchard . Keep it up team .👍

We were there for breakfast on a Sunday. Staffs were attentive and the food came fast and were yummy. Lucky we only ordered 1 breakfast eggs and a Patissier’s basket to share. The berries and a tropical smoothies were refreshing as well.

Very nice and chic place for either a coffee break or lunch. Food is above average but service is always good. The tarts are a “must try”!

We came here to have some tea during this wet season in Singapore. Unfortunately, the seafood smell from our next table was super unbearable that we ended up leaving this place early. Even after asking to change our table, our request was not considered seriously. I was not expecting my Sunday to be ruined like this. Don’t forget that you might drink microplastics from the tea bags.

Paul at takashimaya service and food was wonderful and delicious. Will definitely repeat visit. Jenny was excellent in her service, so patient and explains everything well. We were spoilt for choices and she recommended food that was good. We clarified with Paul via instagram that it is not halal certified but meat sources are halal and they practise a strict no lard, no pork and no alcohol in their kitchens. Jenny also mentioned that the outlet in Jewel serves alcohol, hence no halal certification. I mean its understandable as tourists sometimes transit here. Overall, will recommend anyone who wants to try the food. Good for any occasions. I celebrated my birthday here

First time trying Paul in Singapore. Did not try any meals. Had the chocolate cake and a couple of drinks . Both were alright but my hot chocolate intially looked different from the Menu but after clarifying, the whipped cream was missed out and the cup served was different. The cake was good something to recommend. The staff that received us at the entrance did not give us the bag holder had to request it from another waiter after a good 7-10 minutes. Found it to be inconsistent as I saw another staff giving other walk-in customers a bag holder from the begining.

Ordered unsweetened ice tea, steak and fries and beef short ribs. Ice tea was alright, nothing to shout about. I ordered a medium steak and came fully done. It was abit hard. Fries was good though. Beef ribs were terrible. Lack of flavor. Not really sure what was going through the mind of the chefs.

Foods were freshly made and tasty, not salty at all.😋😋 were there 4 tea snacks🤩😍 service was not friendly, even though there are not full except 4 a Chinese lady wait staff who tried 2 help with our orders. Initial waitress has our drinks orders wrong, given lemongrass lemon tea instead of iced lemon tea😑😶 when asked d wait staff 2 check, seems reluctant 2 help 2 check 🙁. We had only ordered kombucha yuzu n iced lemon tea, somehow these were wrongly served, not a good impression😬🤨 thank goodness, d quality of foods🤩 made up 4 d mediocre service 🙁

Went yesterday on a Saturday morning. Food was good, service was generally OK except for one Indian lady service crew. Asked for extra butter, seemed displeased and of course we did not get our butter in the end. Had to call and ask from another service crew. When we asked for bill, was again served by the same crew, not sure why but again seemed displeased and just passed us the receipt coldly 😔 (she did however, happily thanked the earlier customer who is an Caucasian). Another service crew in white did thank us as we were leaving.

Great service! Definitely worth visiting. Our experience overall was good. The queue was fast and Kathy, the service staff was very friendly, accommodating and fast. The food was served fast that we didn’t even have to follow up. Thank you Kathy from Takashimaya for today. We’ll definitely comeback for a meal, coffee and cakes too.

Enjoy a late afternoon coffee break and feel very relax. Food was awesome and service was good. Had almond & apple pie, truffle mushrooms tartine and plain croissant drown with a hot Mocca. However the payment service needs to improve. The lady staff just placed my credit card and receipt on the table instead of giving to me directly. Not good. Please train the staff.
