Cafe

👍 Nice cafe’ tucked away inside a courtyard with outdoor (covered) seating. Staff was friendly even though I arrived before the cafe even opened. We tried a latte ($6) and the vegetarian egg’s Benedict ($16) which were tasty and well cooked. Good value and quiet atmosphere so perfect to catch up with... I had the scrambled egg croissant with candy bacon and feta cheese. Everything tasted so good and the eggs were slightly runny the way I like it. Friends ordered the big breakfast and you can tell that they are very generous with the portions! Coffee was great as well, a nice generous cup and I also appreciated the nice coffee art. I would say that the price is also cheaper than average which is a major plus, especially for their portions! Aside from their mains, I also had their basque burnt cheesecake. It was delightful with its runny gooey middle. Slightly on the expensive but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Venue wise it is also pretty convenient via public transport. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating as well whereby you get some naturally sunlight for outdoor seating but still under shelter which makes it cooling. Would definitely consider coming back to try their other mains!

Good value and quiet atmosphere so perfect to catch up with friends or just chill with coffee - I’ll return to try their cheesecake at some point.

Had walk in brunch here a few weeks back with my friends and had to queue for a while. The food here is pretty good, with more hits than misses. Enjoyed my chosen main thoroughly, with the feta cheese, chives and chili adding well balanced savouriness to the buttery scrambled eggs and croissant. Kudos to the scrambled eggs which were executed well. The coffee was also good, with the iced lattes not being too diluted, had two as it was a really hot day! Will be back!

Came here on Sunday for brunch, it was rather quiet and there were plenty of tables unoccupied. The design of this cafe is simple and seating are mostly outdoors (but sheltered) which fortunately didn’t feel hot thanks to the gigantic fan above. Menu selection has a decent mix of brunch and mains. You can really taste the Guinness in the Beef Stew and the beer imparted a distinct aroma to this classic dish. The chunky beef cubes are rather tender, however texture is quite stringy and hard to chew. The saving grace is the thick toast which was fluffy and soaks up the stew perfectly. For their big brekkie, it is quite normal tasting, nothing to rave about. Recommend you to come here if you happen to be around the area.

The Houjicha burnt cheesecake was decent though I felt the matcha latte needed more matcha. Indoor seating is limited, and it's mostly outdoor, but the area is an enclosed cul-de-sac sort of space, so there's no natural breeze. If it's a warmer day, try to avoid coming here as the air can be stale, even with fans. Parking is done at the Bijou condo, but the mrt is right across the road, so it's quite accessible.

Very clean, fresh decor and delicious brunch options. The servings were generous (I'm fact, the rice bowls are positively huge) but the dishes we tried were very high quality. The coffee is also worthy of a mention, as it's espresso based and the 'normal' naming conventions such as latte are replaced with simply "milk" followed by the size in oz. The smallest is essentially a macchiato, followed by a piccolo or cortado - I get confused by the Italian wording. So the straightforward naming by size is actually welcome.

Read some great reviews of this place and decided to check it out. We were here for afternoon tea. It was crowded. Customers are mostly the young crowd. We were lucky to get a table inside. Although sitting outside was good, just that it was tough to hear each other due to the echo from other customers talking. However, the menu for tea was not bad. They had a range of coffees, lattes (even an interesting one such as turmeric latte), brewed tea in a pot, soft drinks etc. Cakes had burnt cheese cake, apple crumble etc. We got a pot of white peony tea, hojicha latte and a hojicha burnt cheesecake. They all tasted good. Ambience was also great too!

The food was good, are ordered the sphagetti, salmon and breakfast with truffles. The truffles were especially good with the seasoning. However, do reserve for inside dining or later part of the afternoon. Much of the external dining area is under the skylight and it's really hot and stuffy under the sunlight. The staff helped to move 3 tables to a shady spot outside some vacant shops.Once these shops are tenanted, you will have to bear with the direct sun.

The cafe is located at a nice secluded and quiet condo building. Glad to have made a reservation as the cafe can get crowded (a queue) to wait for seats for a while. This was on a Saturday at 1130am. Ordered a Scrambled Egg Croissant, Kurobuta Pork Soba, Kin's Burnt Cheesecakes and Houjicha Burnt Cheesecake. Main dishes were both great and tasty. Cheesecakes are great too and more towards the 'gooey' cheesy side. Ordering two different kind of cheesecakes, Houjicha compliments well with its tea bitterness with the original cheesecake. Service was great too! Staffs were on point and attended to you immediately.

My go-to place for a chill iced tea, coffee and candy bacon. Usual orders include the carbonara, omelette & croissant, mac & cheese, hojicha latte, and iced lychee & rose tea.

Haven't been here for a few months, but I feel like the food has improved since my last visit! Surprised to see burnt cheesecake came in houji flavour now, texture was good but would have liked a heavier "tea" taste. Portion size for the scrambled egg croissant was good, would have liked the option to add on some mushrooms or even better if that could be included on the side. Otherwise everything was great. Will definitely be back again!

😐 This is ecstatically the best looking amongst the PS Cafes. They have a good selection of food and beverages that some might consider pricey. But their cakes and deserts are very good. It’s a great place to chill in the afternoons and also good for sundowners after a long day. It’s always a pleas...
