A
family
friendly
karaoke
pub
managed
by
an
elderly
couple,
chill
and
decent
ambiance
along
with
a
pool
table
@$2
per
game,
coins
can
be
exchanged
at
the
counter.
Singing
in
the
hall
is
by
turn
basis
in
accordance
to
the
table
running
numbers
and
there
are
a
total
of
eight
tables
each
with
a
touchscreen
interface
for
song
selection.
Song
titles
are
still
current
and
up
to
date
along
with
the
entertainment
system
of
which
I
heard
that
a
considerable
amount
was
spent
on
the
procurement
of
the
hall
microphones
which
explains
why
when
uncle
pass
you
the
mic
for
your
turn
to
sing
he
will
tell
you
not
to
tap
onto
the
mic.
In
fact
the
right
way
for
sound
check
is
just
speak
into
the
mic.
They
have
but
only
four
private
karaoke
singing
rooms
of
different
sizes
towards
the
back
of
the
shop
house
where
the
washrooms
are.
I
think
it's
as
good
as
it
gets
for
a
set
up
like
this
considering
the
built-up
space
and
it's
constraints
of
a
shop
house.
So
do
call
early
and
book
your
room
well
in
advance
expecially
for
weekends
to
avoid
disappointment.
The
elderly
couple
are
only
grumpy
at
when
they
catch
patrons
of
certain
individual
breaking
the
house
rules
and
thus
the
need
to
tell
them
off.
And
THE
one
biggest
rule
that
everyone
adheres
to
strictly
is
the
NO
SMOKING
rule
and
that
includes
Vaping
and
E-cigarettes
of
any
kind,
failure
of
which,
either
unwittingly
or
on
purpose
may
result
in
getting
oneself
or
the
whole
group
ban
from
the
premises
indefinitely.
