I had a really great dinner here watching the sunset over the skyline. The set menu is the way to go, and we really enjoyed all of the dishes. They have great cocktails, a solid wine menu, and the steak was done perfectly. If you go for the set menu, order a dice of fries, they are not to be missed!

We tried their high tea. I think their baked goods such as the quiches and the scones are fragrant and delicious. I find their sweets average, although I did enjoy the lemon tart and the cheese sandwich. The premium teas are quite aromatic and the view is scenic. I am still abit ambivalent about whether the price of the high tea matches the taste of the food. But the ambience is pretty posh and elegant. So it really depends on what you prefer in a high tea.

Great service and views. Definitely a celebration type of place. Food-wise, looks and tastes good... but not "wow, I've got to return soon" level, so one less star here. To be fair, we had the set lunch, it might be different if we had different menu? Favourite was the praline tart (it was a surprise in the mouth).

The atmosphere is incredible here. Especially on a clear weather day the view of the CBD is hard to beat. The openness of the high ceiling and soft music made it a great place to relax and catch up. The food is slightly disappointing but I supposed for the price it’s actually acceptable. The server suggests us to start with the beautiful strawberry cheesecake as it can melt. But it’s honestly a little too cold for my liking and the texture is hard due to the temperature. Oh, and for all you smokers out there, there’s a smoking room near the toilet so you don’t need to go all the way down for a puff.

Reservation was required for the high tea via their website. The restaurant was located on the 70th floor so the view was great. The place was quiet and cosy and a nice place to take photos of the scenery. Food was served shortly after we were seated. We had enough time to consume the food slowly. They have a good mix of sweet and savoury items but nothing really amazes us. Refilling of tea was quite slow though. The washroom was located at the Skai ballroom area on the 69th floor where the weddings were at. It was a distance walk away and also quite awkward to walk into people's weddings.

In terms of view, decor, and evening/night atmosphere - beautiful spot ! General waiting staff and service was good! Sommelier was very knowledgeable and friendly! Only challenge we found was it took quite sometime for food to come through and when mains did come, the temperature throughout was inconsistent. Steak was maybe warm, pasta was hot and cod was in the middle, Could be just an off night. Be willing to try again for sure but taste and everything else was awesome !

The restaurant location on the 70th level is breath taking, modern design and the service was impeccable. They accommodated me very well with a seating that I have requested. Returning from overseas after the pandemic to celebrate my dad’s birthday, they have indeed it a very special one. The service staff knew I just got back, they also presented a surprise for me which was lovely and appreciated. The food was gorgeous - well presented and tasted good. The only positive criticism is I expected an amazing meal - taste wise - but the taste was good but it was not “wow, this is just superb.” I will definitely come back again. Well done and keep up the great service.

**For a table next to a window, book at least one month before going. Expect stunning views and nice food ** Tried for afternoon tea and really enjoyed the view - the food was nice (especially the cakes and sweets), but not outstanding. I am removing one star because the service was patchy and slow - the restaurant was busy and they seemed understaffed. I mentioned some dietary requirements when booking and when ordering on the day but I was still served food that contained the ingredient we weren’t supposed to eat. It was also very awkward to get the bill without asking for it while we were still eating. I would return for drinks with a view, but not for food.

Had wonderful experience celebrating our wedding anniversary here. The crab cake was yumz and so was the beef steak and pasta. Ambience was great as it came with a great view (check out the sunset!) And it was casual dining. Thank you Skai for the experience and the small cake to mark our occasion!

Attended wedding dinner at skai suites. Stunning view at 69th floor of swissotel Stamford. Food is served individually but few dishes served cold . Taste is acceptable with nice presentation. Service abit let down due to no experience part timer. And toilet is located on another floor , only can accessible by staircase , not really convenient for elderly. Overall nice experience.

From the moment I arrived, I was so impressed with the view and the ambience. You can see the sunset the window and you know you will have a fabulous time. If you want a table by the window, you need to make a booking at least a month prior. The service was average, I am a vegetarian and they do not have a lot of options or even remotely interested to offer more variety. There was only chickpea tofu for the main, it was 2/5 to say the least. What was shocking was the portion of the lobster that my partner had ordered. For the price tag of 76 SGD before the tax and service charge, I genuinely believe it should have been much better , portion and taste wise. It was not delightful but not bad either. The dessert saved the evening. Would I be back? Probably for drinks on a special occasion.

Amazing view from Skai! Went in group of 3 and bill about $500+ with a glass of beer and small bottle of sake. Honestly the food did not impress me. Will not go 2nd time unless is for the view. Among the dishes, I like the cauliflower starter most.

We had the High Tea and we really enjoyed it. The view is amazing, the staff is very friendly and they bring a lot of food (both dessets and savoury). They also refill the tea. Even if we went on a Sunday, it was not crowded. If you plan to go, make yourself a favour and book as early as you can and ASK for a window table. There is one thing I didnt like though. They charge you for a tap water!!

3 course set lunch and the mains were disappointing. Why is that green lettuce seated in the middle of the impossible pork dish?!! The cooked eel came with a strong whisk of fishy taste that was overwhelming. Chicken thigh with cauliflower sides was good. Dessert saved the day! You already have a nice city view, now go work on the food please.

I won a voucher to do the SKAI Premium High Tea plus the Maison 21G Perfume Creation Workshop. I took my cousin with me and we had the most AMAZING time. I cannot fault a single thing. The perfume creation workshop was fantastic, and the high tea itself was delicious. An amazing balance of sweet and savoury with the most incredible view (plus the food was picture perfect!) Couldn't ask for more. The staff were absolutely fabulous and attended to our every need. We will definitely be back!

Awesome view from level 70! They allow to order food from Skai restaurant which is a plus point as the bar’s food selection is not a lot. The fresh oyster is really good and a must try. The food served are all pretty good. Even though this is definitely a pricy choice but I think overall is worth it especially on special occasion. They served a complimentary slice of birthday cake for my friend.

We had the hightea there and the lady staff was very kind to us. We went around 1:30 to see if we can get a seat. I was still the colour of time is 1:00 however, she still did the extra to check in with kitchen if you can accommodate us which they did! Food was interesting but do take note that it's not refillable including the drinks. It's good enough for high tea. The view was nice but do book early for seats where you won't get your views blocked.

You are dining for the view not the food. For the price you can find tastier options. The portions were quite small especially the steak, the length of a finger with 4 tiny lettuce leaves for $75. But of the dishes we tried, I’d recommend the Alaskan Black Cod and Spanish Sea Bass. For dessert get the wimberry tart. I won’t visit again for the food but maybe drinks at night!

The food is absolutely delicious and the view is stop breathing. You can see the Singapore city center from almost all the tables. Can enjoy the Marina Bay Sands light show. It’s my new favorite restaurant in Singapore.

No, this place is not cheap! But it is worth each and every cent spent. If you are looking for the perfect location to celebrate a special occasion, this is the place to go. Located on the 70th floor of Swissotel, you have a perfect view all across Singapore. The food is simply excellent and the service we enjoyed was outstanding. Thank you for making this a very special evening for us.

I have been to Skai many times and absolutely loved it. To be completely honest my latest visit wasn’t as good as usual but it was still a great day. I found overwhelmed by plates of food just being loaded to the table rather than being able to order as we wanted. This is unusual though as I normally love everything about my visit to Skai. Their Saturday brunch is amazing and the views from the restaurant is incredible.

You get one of the best views of the city here. I tried the set lunch and I enjoyed both the starter and dessert. The main requires a bit of work in terms of both taste and presentation. Otherwise a really lovely way to spend an afternoon. There are steps within the restaurant so those who need a step free zone, do contact the restaurant ahead of time for help.

Fine dining and breathtaking skyline views. If this is a night to remember, Skai restaurant does the trick. Arrive just before 7pm and see the sky on fire. But even after the sun has set, this view will capture hearts and minds. We took the 4-course set menu with wine pairing, and each dish was delicious. I loved the tofu starter, the lamb main and the chocolate dessert was a masterpiece. For an important business dinner or romantic date of the year, this is a perfect match.

We have to give a low rating, cos we were really expecting better quality food with the price we paid. This review is based on the lunch 3 course meal we got, they might have other better food on their ala carte ir dinner menu. Appetizer was nice and comes with the bread which was better than the main course. For the main course, the seared tuna was average at most. Not that impressive. The steak was the biggest let down, and we paid extra for it. we order it medium rare and it came overcooked, tasteless and dry. we wanted tell the waiter to take it back but the kitchen was already closed. Not to mention the presentation is just bad comes with a sides of lettuce that looks cheap, honestly would gone anywhere else that has better plating and better quality veggies. Dessert saved the whole meal, as it was quite delicious. Overall we still have to give it a 2/5, there are other with better food then here and with the price we paid for it just not worth it. Although the view is really pretty from where we were seated

Skai restaurant has probably the best view in Singapore! It spans the entire Marina Bay and is absolutely panoramic! The food is pretty average with high prices. At the end of the day, you are paying for the view and not the food.

Stunning view of Singapore from 70th storey of Swissotel!! We were here for the 3 course set lunch. Overall food presentation and taste were okay. Nothing stood out for us as outstanding and memorable. Service was good. When we asked if there was other option to the thin sesame crackers for the cheese platter, we were offered almond biscuits which we found went well with the cheeses. We were given a slice of cake each for the parties who were celebrating a birthday and a wedding anniversary.

This is place where you come here for the view of the city. On the 70th floor the view was quite nice especially on a sunny day. It should look stunning at night, too. The afternoon tea set was reasonable for its price point, and it’s comparable to other hotel tea sets. The portions are generous and there were some delightful savoury bites, and by the time you get to the sweet part, you’re stuffed. This is a place where you are paying a premium for the view. The restaurant does get noisy when it’s a full house since it’s very echoey with the high ceilings. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time since it was full even for afternoon tea. Credit card required to confirm the reservations. In case you need to cancel, do so 48 hrs before your reservation to avoid paying for the full fee.

My wife and I went to Skai bar to celebrate our getting married a couple of days before and we were not disappointed. The view was exceptional with sights of the city skyline from the 70th floor. The service provided by service staff Fazzy and Ivy were to be commended. They were attentive, warm and welcoming, checking on us throughout our dining experience. The atmosphere was pleasant and the lighting was perfect for photos. We ordered 2 steaks, one of which were the flat iron and the other the sirloin which were cooked to perfectly to our liking. The sirloin was better than the flat iron steak which explains the price-tag. The bread which was served before our main course came with beef fat salted butter. Never tasted anything like it and it was delicious. At the end of it all, we received a photo with a Polaroid photo and a card to congratulate us for on our wedding, along with desert! All in all, I had a five star experience and will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family. Well done.

Ambience is great, simply because of the view. Waiting staff appears untrained and incompetent. Food quality is poor. They look stale and appeared to have been pre-prepared for an extended period of time. None of the savoury or sweet pieces impressed us. In fact, they tasted a bit "off". Price is sgd68++ which comes with either one coffee or one tea only. No water served. Bottled water is sgd12++ or filtered water at sgd3++ per pax. There were 4 of us, and the total came to sgd300+. Hefty considering no add-ons, and the poor quality of food. Definitely Instagrammable, but not a venue we'd return. Hence, also would not recommend it to anyone.

We had the Crab Spaghettini and Alaskan Black Cod as mains. The cod was cooked to perfection but the former was an utter disappointment. Crab meat was too salty and the prawn was half raw. Upon clarification, we were told that it was meant to be that way. We've had seared prawns but it was nothing like that. For the price paid for, we would probably visit here for drinks only.

Came here on Amex fine dining promo. Extremely worth the money - the view is one-of-a-kind (especially at night time!!), and the music is just loud enough for conversational privacy while not being too imposing. The hospitality was really warm - we were offered a bar seat for a better view after we first sat away from the window. The steak was delicious and tender, even better than some of the higher end teppanyaki I've had. But our favourite memory of the night has to do with the light hearted conversations about alcoholic drinks with the bartender Kingston - thanks for your amazing concoctions and the personal touch! Highly recommended and will be back again.

The lobster and tuna starters were well prepared. Be sure to order the uni risotto for your main, as well as the pork belly. The yuzu peach and brownie desserts were great as a finale!Spectacular views. Great atmosphere. Great food - the steak and chips and pork belly were delicious. Not to mention the wonderful selection of desserts. Great Service. The DJ was brilliant. Finally a decent alternative for Saturday brunch in Singapore. Highly recommend.

[Classical view of Singapore skyline ] It is traditionally known to be best view, and it's recently renovated the interior which made it more modern. High tea is up to standard but the tea pots were not served at the same time with savory and desserts. It came out lukewarm after we are half done with all the mini sandwiches and scones. Second tea came out hot luckily as we asked to ensure it is not cooled down. The amount of the tea is not full. Service in general is ok but they perhaps need more training to know the order or service. Wish there is more dark chocolate kind for adults' taste but the dessert is not overly sweet. So it is worth a try. Kids set is quite worth it.

Attended a 5-course wine tasting event. Liking the new decor and ambiance, very earthy and airy. The view is still spectacular so come for sunset drinks or early dinner. Food was great, slightly unseasoned maybe because of the wine tasting event. Service is very good. Pro tip. There is a smoking room on 69, next to the restrooms.

Afternoon tea, literally sky high! Had an amazing English high tea with friends at SKAI Bar, located on the 70th floor of @swissotelthestamford The newly launched afternoon tea set, served on an exquisite floral tier tray, has an interesting spread of sweets and savoury items. Think along Maitake Truffle on Flatbread, Foie Gras Polo Bun, Candied Black Bean Sesame, Matcha Tea Mascarpone and Cocoa Bean Ruby Chantily. It is on the pricier end but for the view and the spread, I think it’s quite worthwhile. Afternoon Tea Hours: Sunday to Friday 3:00pm-5:00pm Pricing: $60++ per person

Went for afternoon tea at SKAI, which is located at 70th floor of the hotel. You need to take the lift from the back of the hotel lobby. It is not easy to find and without noticeable signature but the hotel staffs are more than welcome to show you the way. You will be welcomed by the breathtaking view once you entered the restaurant. At SGD68++, you can induge in the delicacy and choice of two TWG premium tea or coffee. Some teas and dishes will require additional top-up. Overall a fantastic experience at SKAI. Will revisit for the dinning experience on special occasions.

There’s not many restaurants in Singapore that can match Skie’s amazing panoramic views of Singapore. It’s enough to take the breath away, especially when the sun sets and city’s night lights begin to sparkle. Once seated, your expectations for the food begin to rise in the hope it can match the high quality of the views. Luckily for us the food lived up to our expectations. The risotto was creamy and delicate and topped off with a deliciously fresh sea urchin Uni. The salmon fillet was soft and subtly bursting with flavour under an enjoyable crispy skin. The pork main was also deliciously and surprisingly soft and juicy whilst still being crispy. The meal was very enjoyable and the service very professional and polite, but like the venue, expect prices towards the sky high range. If you’re looking for a memorable venue and a meal for special occasions (a birthday cake was delivered to our table at the end of the evening, even without asking for one) Skie promises an evening to live long in your memory.

Cristian and his team really looked after us for my wife’s birthday on Friday. From the set menu beautifully paired with carefully selected wines to being able to deal with 18people doing musical chairs between courses it was superb. Of course the views help but we had so much fun I hardly looked. Whatever F and B GM Emmanuel Benardos is doing now with the f and b in these properties it is surely working. Thanks to all at Skai

The food service is so slow that I could have climbed up and down the 70 stories and the food is still not out.. Food is decent but we spent more than 2 hours for a 3 course meal. After we were done with the main course, our plates were left infront of us for more than 30 mins unnoticed.. Had to resort to informing them to clear the plates on my own. For this price - this place definitely needs to improve their service and waiting time.

Update: Jan 2020 Came for their set lunch, service was excellent. However food was not really up to standards. Paid extra $20 for beef but the cut is quite bad. A lot of tendons and couldn’t really chew it well. Dessert was fancy and their signature coconut mango item but didn’t really suit my tastebuds. Previous review: Very interesting cocktails with fancy (and sometimes unrecognizable) ingredients. Ranges $25-$28. 20% off for Amex platinum cardmembers. Superb views at level 70, high ceiling and dim setting, perfect for dates :)

very good cocktails, surpassed only by the stellar views. i expected the cocktails to be overpriced due to the location and views but was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t vary from the usual $20-$25 of signature cocktail bars in sg.

The set lunch is a great item on the menu. Crab cake is recommended as a side dish. The roasted mushroom is a nice add-on as well. Overall good dining experience. Food quality is much better than Equinox in the past.

Can’t believe it took me this long to visit Skai for the first time since it changed from Equinox. First off, the scenery speaks for itself. Service was quite attentive (though they got an order wrong but quickly rectified). Appetisers we had was foie gras, which was heavenly and well balanced and scallop salmon tartar, good mix of scallops with a tinge of sour and salty salmon. Well done. Dessert of amber peach brought out the flavour of the peach and the honey mochi was a pleasant surprise. Main course of chicken was very tender and tasty while the flat iron wagyu was nicely done and tender (though my personal taste buds are still geared towards a more fatty cut like ribeye). All in all, a pat in the back for the Skai team and will come back again.

Had high tea here, was not bad but not impressive either. All the foods some were good, some were plain but nothing outstanding. Won’t come back again.

Romantic ambience for the perfect date night. The 4-course menu is delicious and filling, but desserts were a tad bit too sweet. I would have given it a 5-star rating, if not for the hiccup over our reservation. We booked 3 weeks in advance, called in twice to secure a window seat (and received positive response from the staff on both occasions), yet when we got there, we were still assigned to a non-window table. The service crew on duty told us that we had to book 3-4 months in advance. Hmmm, i wonder how true it is tho.

We went there for dinner on a Sunday evening and it was still relatively busy. The ambience of the place was wonderful, takes full advantage of the magnificent view you get of downtown from atop and would highly recommend getting tha tables by the window if you can in advance, it definitely puts the dining experience to another level. The food has a lot of Japanese influence and Japanese flavours are subtly used in many of the dishes and that adds up to the overall experience. We had a couple of appetizers which were good, but absolutely loved the squid ink pasta with lobster meat and crab meat. The flavour was brilliant, fresh pasta stands out and very generous amounts of both lobster and crab meat. The steak was good and a good choice for a grill place.

Picture Perfect view at the bar area despite not having the usual tables. Fine dining at its finest ! *3rd visit updates* They changed their bread but it still taste amazing. Tried other dishes and it did not disappoint one bit!

Five star for the view! The service is also top notch. Recommended place for important occasions as price is on the high side. Booked one month in advance for a window view but its really worth while. The complementary bread turns out to be my favorite 🤣

Breathtaking view of the city. Food was delicious. The service was excellent from start to finish. Requested for a table facing MBS and they managed to accommodate it brilliantly. Perfect for special occasions.

Excellent service starting right from the reservation. Reservation staff handled everything professionally and the system auto trigger a reservation confirmation one day before. Service crews at the restaurant are consistently nice and friendly. One would be able to tell that they genuinely believe in providing quality service. They do not hesitate to assist us in taking photos and were happy to take more so that we can capture some nice memories. Extra effort was made to wish my wife and I a happy wedding anniversary towards the end of our dinner!! thank you so much!! :) The food quality is really good. Special mention to the bread served before the meal. Food quality is top notch as well. We had the black cod fish and the lobster ink spaghetti. Ingredients used are fresh too. Do reserve in advance and request for a window seat. The sunset view of the restaurant is splendid

The starter, appetiser & dessert were really delectable but the mains need some work 😅 most importantly, really great service by the staffs! :)

Nice view, we book one month earlier for window seat. You can enjoy the view as the waiter will remind the other guests if they came too closed to your table. However, the taste and presentation of the main dish is "too simple". Hope the food can improve, and also slow down the timing so we can enjoy the atmosphere. Sorry to say but I will not recommend here for grand event. Casual lunch or tea time is suitable.

Come here for the view. The food is good but you can get the equivalent or better at a lower price point. Oysters stood out though, the saltiness was balanced and cut through nicely with the pear and lime.

Fantastic experience here, worth every dollar spent. Flavours were complex, well conceptualized and out of this world. The best experience ever. Would definitely be back to try more. Also would recommend anyone to celebrate an occasion here.

Excellent view from the 70th floor, capturing the Singapore waterfront and beautiful sunset. The bread came with a special mushroom spread which was soft and subtle. Foie gras and lobster chawanmushi were amazing! The steak was good with the mint sauce (although would definitely like to try the artisanal beef next time!). Roast pork was slightly dry. Highly recommend the chocolate sphere with popping candy which melted following the splendid pouring of chocolate lava over it. The staff were very kind and gave us a complimentary cake slice!

Beautiful views and amazing food! The meal started with warm bread and butter which I enjoyed throughout the meal. For my entree, it was a bit expensive, but I got the tenderloin that came with a crab cake on top. Combined with the sauce, it was all delicious. The wimberry tart for dessert was VERY berry-y, so might have gone for a chocolate dessert instead, but I was still satisfied with it. I definitely recommend for the experience!

They charges $3 for filtered water and their hi tea beverages is not refillable.. Food is quite average.. Nice savoury pastry but rice cracker base is not crispy. Whereas the sweet pastry were all melted by the time you eat them.. For such an upscale resturant I do not expect them to charge for filtered water.

Lovely HiTea at Skai.. Beautiful view of the Bay from the 70th floor.. The spread was delicious though we could not finish within 2 hours!

They changed their menu to Japanese style. Came for the views and for the service. For the food is averagely good. Crab cake is no longer available in the appetiser selection which is quite sad.

Had the weekday 3-course lunch set. The appetisers were decent (yellow tail and buratta. Steak tasted like it was from Collins.. dessert was very underwhelming. Would only come for the view!

Food was alright, personally some hit and misses. Didn’t felt it was delicious. Maybe it was just taste preferences. Really enjoyed the complimentary bread, and the amazing view!

Greeted warmly upon arrival. Absolutely fantastic ambience. Nice place after dinner to have a few drinks with friends. Great view from the 70th level.

They were not serving food when we got there so we just got cocktails. The cocktails were average. Limited options as well. Service was average too. Guess the appeal is rly the view & ambience. Seats were comfy, could sit there all day. Toilet is 2 flights of stairs down haha.

The ambience is great and the food at Skai Suites for the wedding I attended are botg good. The view from that floor is breath taking but the BIGGEST Grouse is that the washrooms are located on a different level and accessible only via a narrow staircase so unsuitable for the older set.

The place was breath-taking. This time I am tasked to bring my oversees friends to another hotel for high tea and a great mistake with embarrassment. After spending $300 on high tea with disappointment, we stopped eating and left at 4pm. Went to Raffles city for some restaurant food instead. There were only few tables at 3pm and i guess i know why. The food itself was mediocre. The taste was only alright. Very budget menu. Mini sandwich salmon bread was dry and hard. macarons, bite size tarts and Scones does not impress me. So we packed remaining food for our helper to eat. Will not return again on account of the food. But i would return for the view and maybe drinks.

An exceptional place to spend an evening, we discovered an atmosphere exuding warmth and charm. The staff, a delightful blend of helpfulness and friendliness, elevated our experience, ensuring every need was met with grace. Furthermore, the culinary delights surpassed our expectations; the food, crafted with precision, not only met but exceeded our desires and was prepared exactly as we requested.
