Cafe Coffee shop

👍👍 Gem discovered! Too disappointed with the food at Al Ameen Eating Corner, I decided it can't be any worse to get murtabak from this coffee shop. True enough, the Indian Muslim stall doesn't even have a decent signage. It is still using signage of the previous Mohamed Waseef stall but used tape to... People often mention stall, coffee, good, nice, stalls, murtabak, time, price, staff, service,

Gem discovered! Too disappointed with the food at Al Ameen Eating Corner, I decided it can't be any worse to get murtabak from this coffee shop. True enough, the Indian Muslim stall doesn't even have a decent signage. It is still using signage of the previous Mohamed Waseef stall but used tape to block out the name. The Indian Rojak displayed looked so sad. Anyway as I was running short of time, I just had to buy the murtabak there. The staff was at least friendly and I left after paying $7 for a mutton murtabak. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that the curry gravy given isn't those diluted, watered down Curry water. It was thick, concentrated mutton curry gravy! And the murtabak was thin in skin and filled with onion and mutton. The sides were crsipy and the middle of the murtabak was moist and flavorful. It is what real murtabak is about. Nothing fancy, just flavorful, sinful, juicy murtabak with nice mutton curry gravy. For $7, you really couldn't ask for more. I'll be back to do a full review of other food sold by this stall soon. 5 stars!!!!

Renovated and renamed Foodhub now included new stalls like Hua Zai roasted meat and Rong Cheng bak kut teh and the Hua Long steamboat and fish head restaurant. Hua Zai is offering a promotional $1 meal for a week, causing long queues. Due to the crowds, service had been compromised.

A regular customer who visit the coffeeshop every night. The night shift staff was superd! Good service!! Unfortunately, these few night he was on leave and was covered by a PRC staff and, not being biase, her service sucks!!!! Talking to u loudly asking me to place my order by saying "SAY" in Mandarin, not even looking at you.. she's a day time staff covering for 5 days night shift.. another staff also a PRC at the fish ball noodle stall has the same attitude as her too! Wat is happening? Their face expression shows as of I owe them million of dollars! I think it's time the mgmt should pounder on their service issue.

Good variety of food choices here like Malay cursine, western cursine aand Chinese cursine. Although during lunch and dinner hours tend to be difficult to get seats, but worth the wait. But tables take quite some times to be clean.

The char kway teow is nice. Full of wok hei, slightly moist and piping hot. I like that the cockles are raw - you can taste the fresh cockle taste and it’s crunchy instead of chewy after frying. That’s the way CKT should be done. Don’t be fooled by the nondescript stall front. The nasi kukus is very nice too. Love the fried chicken - outside crispy but inside juicy!

It's opened 24/7 although the food stalls are all closed by 11pm. Good for taxi drivers who need toilet and early coffee. The Fatty Boom Boom and Nasi Kukus are reasonable and nice. Dinner could be crowded with beer uncles.

After renovation, the newly opened Hua Zai HK Roasted Delight got the best duck in town, really will blown your mind. Try it and you will know, it's sweet and tender and juicy. Maybe it's newly open, got the duck noodles for $1 only. Best breakfast ever Highly recommend hokkien mee for anybody who feels hungry at night for the price of $3.50. Open from morning until 12midnight or longer. Add more chili for more satisfaction. Totally worth your money and time and also it's not expensive at all. Morning chicken rice is the main dish to eat. Open store as early as 5.30am but close around 1-2pm. Pretty popular around this area. A must to give it a try

The Cher Char vendor are rude chasing diners not their customer away. Then reserving the table for their customers.

After a spanking new renovation, tons of changes. Old stalls such as the Nasi Kukus, econ bee hoon, Prata, and Mian Jiang Kueh remained, and new stalls such as Bak Kut Teh, fishball noodles, Hua Zai came. Comfortable ambience and clean atmosphere to dine in now.

Recently renovated. Went in the evening. Many tables are "reserved" by the zhi char. Very loud place due to beer drinking crowd and loud music (despite of the no loud music sign). Many smoking besides the non smoking section. Very limited noodle/rice dishes for the zhi char, personally think below average taste. Zhi char staffs not friendly. The only stall I really like is probably the Nasi Kukus.

Never ever order crab from zhichar stall. We proceed our order without doubt of FRESHNESS when cashier informed us they left last one of crab. Wasted $$ on rotted crabmeat with tasty gravy sauce. Dispointed 👎

Bought oyster omelette , for $6 only to find 2 small oysters inside. More on the soft chewy side rather than crispy edges type. Chilli sauce was nice tho.. Dissatisfied

  • 3/5 Wan Chin T. 8 months ago on Google
Personally like the fish slice noodle, nasi kukus, fried Hokkien noodle/mee goreng and the popiah. Dinner time can be noisy as usually will have a group of people seated at a corner drinking beers and playing loud remixed music.

(Translated by Google) There are many stalls in the coffee shop, there are cooking stalls, wonton noodles, Indian stalls, chicken rice... the service is very good, the food will be served to the table, the tea is also cheap, no price. In the Masiling subway station this area is a comparison Not bad. (Original) 咖啡店有很多档口,有煮炒档,云吞面,印度档,鸡饭...服务很好,会将食物送上桌,茶水也便宜,没起价.在马西岭地铁站这一带算是比较不错了.

The Zhi Char Stall in this coffee shop have one of the worst Prawn Paste Chicken Wing . $10 for 8 pcs mid wing section and the flour paste so plain and oily. They really cut cost . Dont ever try. I have no choice to try finish all but after the 6 pcs....i really give up. They really think nobody will complaint or give feedback. 😩👎👎👎👎
