My 39-week pregnant 🤰 wife and I absolutely enjoyed our date night here this week! It has been decades since we each sat this iconic cable car ride. We felt like happy kids all over again! It was a romantic 30-minute round trip from Mount Faber Peak to Sentosa and back. The staff were friendly at every point also. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

We used the Singapore Cable Car to go from the Singapore station up to Faber Peak. Great views from here, and do take the walk to the viewing point for more great views and a collection of fine bas relief pictures showing the history of Singapore (see my other review and pix). It can be very hot up here! Then we got the cable car to Sentosa Island, with yet more great views (so much building work going on here!). We looked forward to doing the return trip at night, but on Sentosa Island we heard that the cable car was not operating for some reason, so we lost our money on that, and had to get back by metro; a great shame to have missed out on the return trip.

It was a pleasant experience for us as a family. We took the round trip and every time we disembarked from the cable car, the staff sprayed disinfectant. We also walked along the wishing bells walkway and took some snaps at the beautiful Christmas decorations 😍 There were also lots of beautiful spots for insta worthy photographs! Past generations of cable cars were exhibited as well. Definitely a good place to visit.

A wonderful experience with fantastic views and safe, comfortable cars. The various stations also allow you to tour key areas on the island. Make sure to check their official site for great discounts. I got 50% off for unlimited rides.

This definitely needs to be put on your list if you are visiting Singapore. It is an experience unlike any other. There is a lot to see on both sides of the cable car. I suggest buying the multiple stop multiple cable car package. It is worth it. You can get on and get off at different locations and get some amazing pictures. If the weather is good enough to do so.

We very enjoyed our trip seeing Singapore from above with all its landmarks. Samosa Island was a real escape from reality with its beaches and adventure parks. Whilst these were not for us you could see this as a kids paradise. We got off at three of the stops to explore and it’s perfectly acceptable to stay on the cable car and just go round and round. Good value and a nice way to spend 2/3 hours.

Get there early to enjoy a pod all to yourself on the journey over! You get the full experience of Singapore weather if you are in it when it rains or just after, with the rising hot air/humidity, you feel every bit in the tropics! Journey across takes less than 15 mins and is a great way to see the sights from the air.

A great thing to do if you have the time! I liked how they had so many signs pointing how to get to each station as well, they were super helpful. So glad I did this it’s a great way to see more of the city and have fun while doing it. I came on a random Wednesday and there were no lines at all, hardly anyone anywhere but I think that’s because universal and the water park were closed for maintenance (it looked like it but I’m not sure!). A pretty fun experience! :)

Fun to ride once, nice view over Sentosa and small part of Singapore. Can't say I was amazed. Few minutes queue. May get a bit more interesting if there's a cruise ship below

A must do if you are visiting Singapore, you get to see a beautiful city landscape, beach and harber area in one shot. The ride is quite affordable too. There are restaurants and gift shops in between the rides.

Initially, one will be scary to step inside the cable car seeing the height and the route. However, the journey is very comfortable and the view from this long cable car journey from Mount Faber to Sentosa is awesome. It is definitely a wonderful experience to see the beautiful skyline of Singapore with the splendid view. We could not enjoy the food at the restaurant at Mount Faber as the available menu was not of our liking.

Cable car is fun ride and get to see spectacular panoramic view of Singapore from sky, lush greenery of mount Faber and aerial view of Sentosa and sea view. Ideal time to take the ride is 4pm and need 2 hours to complete both Mount Faber line and Sentosa line. You will get to see the picturesque views by sunset. Ticket price at counter is higher better purchase online.

This is one of the stops along the Mount Faber line. Your can also get some vouchers/ promotions with meals from Klook. After you alight, there is a gift shop to the left where you can purchase some souvenirs. If you were to purchase a ticket with a meal from Klook, the restaurant to redeem it is also nearby. One thing that can be improved is the need for more trash bins. I bought a Klook voucher that came with ice cream. However, I had trouble finding a rubbish bin nearby to dispose the trash. Nonetheless, this area offers a great vantage point and you can have great views from here.

Used the free tickets from Police Force Family Day to take the cable car 🚡 ride from Mt. Faber to Sentosa on Sunday.Arrived after 4 pm. It’s was so crowded, we queued 3 hours for our ride. Beautiful night view of Singapore waterfront and Sentosa. There are F&B outlets at the peak. Easy access for little kids and prams. Staff were friendly and approachable. Worth a visit in the evening.

Cable Car in Singapore is one of the best attractions in the city. The views from the top are amazing, and the experience is very unique. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Singapore.

If you want to catch a panoramic view of the city both from the mountain and from the sea definitely try the cable car! Sentosa Island is maybe a half day excursion just to have a swim, walk through the jungle trails, visit may e universal studios (kids will love it) I would recommend buying the tickets in advance because there are some offers including the gardens of the bay sights as well.

Brilliant views! When it is not busy, they'll allow you to enter one of the cars with just your group, rather than sharing it with others. We visited around 7pm in May and were allowed to board just the two of us. Fantastic!! The cars are not properly air conditioned so it can get a little warm, but still not as hot as it was outside. You can only purchase a round trip or an unlimited ride pass, single trips are not an option. We only used the Mount Faber Line. The views at sunset were just fantastic! 4* as it is pricey for what it is, especially when compared to Cable Cars in other countries etc.

Part of the Sentosa island day trip. If you want to get to siloso beach, there are 3 ways: by mono rail, car or by cable car. We took the last option. There are several restaurants up there while you wait for your cable car and even a gift shop. There are several places where you can even take selfies like a guard rail overlooking the bay with several bells attached. We accidentally went into one of the restaurants where there was a small play area, and didn't realize it wasn't open to public. The owner or worker was slightly rude when she asked us to leave. It was an honest mistake! People are so quick to judge. She could've smiled once we apologized but continued looking annoyed. Uggh.

We had a staycation on Sentosa and acted as tourists for a couple of days. We never had a ride on the cable cars before since the platform got updated many years ago and there was special promo price for locals - so why not? It was awesome ride providing excellent aerial view of the island.

To Senthosa island by the cable car! Nice scenic view over the city and the sea. You have to go by a vehicle to get to the entrance. Clean and spacious cabin. If you are afraid of height, then you might wanna skip this ride. Otherwise I highland recommend this.

We took the ride from Mount Faber and loved it totally. The view from cable car is breath taking. It is normal to take cable car to Sentosa when we are showing the guests around. I have had pleasant experiences taking the cable car. You don't get to see the similar view from anywhere else when you see bright skies above and beautiful water body below you. Enjoy the ride and scenery of sea and ships from the top. Could not upload my video for you ,it gives me option to share photograph only.

To travel to sentosa from the city, you can take the cable car ride from harbourfront station. an enjoyable ride though. The cable car also has dine-in option which is the best thing, I have ever tried. Eating your food at a greater altitude that too about the sea. Yearly passes also available which is really worth it. There are 4 stations where you can break and continue your journey. We usually take the cable car to travel from vivacity to silosa beach, almost every week before Covid.

The cable itself is great but there were a lot of communications flaws that make you feel they don't genuinly care about their customers: 1. First they charge 10$ more expensive for counter tickets than online which was quite shocking and a bit of a waste of time. 2. The person at the counter told us that the 2 way trip included the whole cable cars but in fsct it only included 1 lf the 2 cable car and then they charge you extra if you want to do the one on sentosa. Felt a lot like a money squeeze and back packaging. Overall good to do once but those issues didn't make us feel we would like to go back.

A little bit pricey but offers stunning views of Singapore and Sentosa. Definitely would still recommend. One thing to note would be that the unlimited year-long pass advertised online is only for people with SG phone numbers as that’s how they assign the pass to you.

Fun ride. Takes about 15 mins from Mt. Faber to Sentosa. You should experience the ride both during the day and night time. You won’t get to see the water or the lush green forests at night, but the beautiful Singapore skyline lit with colourful lights is a sight to sore eyes.

We had an amazing time, the views were absolutely stunning. Definitely not something to do if you have a fear of height though. We rode the cable car from harbour front to Sentosa island and back. We got the ticket that included the cable cars on Sentosa which I’d definitely say to get. Whilst Sentosa has a free shuttle service across the island the cable cars are a must do.

Quite expensive if you want the Mountain line as well - at 35 SGD per person, one round trip. Also, they’ve added Pokémon stickers to the outside glass on the mountain line, but it ruins the view from the inside - what’s the point? But overall, still a pretty nice and rare view to get - so I’d recommend a visit

From Siloso to Merlion through Imbiah another from Imbiah (Sentosa) to Mt. Faber through Harbourfront Station... Imbiah is the location for Madamme Tussauds, 4D cinemas etc...

The cable car prioritized safety with a clean cabin, ensuring a secure and pleasant ride. It's advisable to purchase advance tickets to prevent delays, as group check-ins might lead to longer lines. Overall, a reliable choice for a safe and scenic journey, with a bit of pre-planning for optimal experience.

Cool experience with no wait or Lines. The only bad thing was the water from the rain on the windows of the cable car. Wish there was some sort of windshield wiper or if they actual staff would wipe the windows down. It was really hard to see out of them to get clear videos and pictures.

The cable car in Singapore is a unique and exciting way to explore the city. It provides stunning aerial views of the city skyline, the harbor, and Sentosa Island. The cable car is also a convenient mode of transportation for those visiting Sentosa Island, as it provides a direct link between the island and the mainland. The cable car ride takes approximately 15 minutes each way, and during this time, passengers have the opportunity to take in the breathtaking sights. The cabins are spacious and comfortable, with large windows that offer unobstructed views of the surrounding areas. Overall, the cable car in Singapore is a highly recommended experience for both locals and tourists alike. It offers a unique and memorable way to explore the city, while also providing convenient transportation to Sentosa Island. If you're looking for a fun and exciting activity in Singapore, the cable car is definitely worth checking out. Note: Friendly for Senior visitors, baby and toddler.

Since we all are stuck on this red dot. Take this means of transportation to get a going overseas feeling. At least you are out of the effing island. Most of us are at breaking point to go out of this country for a real break. Ok ok back to the Singapore cable car. Enjoyed the ride as always. Almost memorized the in cabin narration as been taking it too often divert my attention that We can't really get out of this country yet. Overall, I bought the licence so I don't have to worry much about the cost. Travel as much you want for 1 year. I guess by the time it expires, we should be able to use our "powerful" passport again.🥴. Else there might be massive mental Illness.

A round trip sky pass (for both Sentosa and mount Faber lines) surprised our family as we took a trip on a boring afternoon. The children loved the view, kites (large birds) swooping around our cabin from time to time and amazing views of the dolphins tanks below in the dolphin cove attractions. The travel speed was Goldilocks slow, just slow enough to sit and enjoy the views. About 1.5 hours round trip. A welcomed change from all the fast paced sight seeing and activities around us!

Pricey but good touristy experience to view South Singapore from the sky. Good to keep the kids entertained. Every stop is accessible via walking or stroller/wheelchair. Best time to visit is 6+, to view the sunset and or have a different atmosphere going to and from Sentosa.

Offers spectacular views of the Harbourfront area and Sentosa. Large and spacious cabins that could do with some upgrading (charging points, audio narration or music). Ideal for families using the Rediscover vouchers.

(Translated by Google) I used it out of curiosity to go to Sentosa island. To reach by metro, you have to reach Harbor Front station and follow exit B. There are 2 different fares, short line and long line. Price 35 SGD including Faber mount and Sentosa lines. Only Sentosa is 15 SGD. A hill and panoramic view can be seen on Faber mount. In fact, it's okay to not go here. On Sentosa Island, there are 3 stations and you can get off at each station and visit the surrounding area. Cabins are not very big. The outside can be observed clearly. The view is beautiful. I advise. Tavsiye ederim.

Operated by One Faber Group, Singapore Cable Car is one of the world's few aerial gondola lifts that runs over water bodies as well as urban areas like HarbourFront Towers. Opened in 1974 connecting Singapore mainland on Mount Faber with the party island of Sentosa, this aerial transport has 2 major lines under its belt - Mount Faber Line and Sentosa Line. Ticket purchases are encouraged to be done online due to ongoing COVID-19 safe measurements. For eligible Singaporeans, they can use SingapoRediscovers Vouchers (SRV) through government-approved travel sites and applications i.e. Traveloka, Klook, etc. to attain cheapest discounts.

Enjoyed the rides Scenery is especially worthwhile on the Mount Faber line. Be prepared that at mount Faber itself, a number of attractions are closed (condoned off ) Sentosa line made it easier to access entertainment venues from one end of the island to the other ... Good overview of the island

We did the dinner and it's a pretty good experience. The kids loved it. We were told it was one trip there then back so we got out (it felt fast) and then were told we could have done another round trip, except the woman at the car didn't want to let us in, so it took another 10 minutes to get in again. But the kindness of the guy who helped us go back on outweighed the annoyingness of that particular woman. So overall, a good experience!

Nice view from cable car.. Only problem is parking at Mt Faber. Limited car par near the station tat are reserved for "management staff" as per the car park attendance. We have a very active toddler so it's really a chore to get a lot. Matter of fact, I have a big argument with te attendance. She said cannot par, proceed to car park C but my hubby with my grandson saw se allowed an "ang moh" with 2 kids park there. Why such discrimination..

It's our very own cable car since it's beginning. Very nice view from here. There is a gift shop here for you to buy some souvenirs. Some of the little gift are quite cheap as there is quite a good discount. This place is as busy as it get. You can buy a annual membership at $45 (Ind) & $115( family). It definitely worth the deal as it cost $30+ per person.

Mt Faber is the highest and best place to start the cable car to Sentosa from and Its certainly the highest but whether its the best place to start depends on a number of things. Cable car tickets are sold as a complete loop ticket. Mount Faber is not on any public transport so to get there means a taxi and starting the cable car there means either wasting the ticket by not doing the ride when you leave or going back to Mount Faber and taxi from there (or walk down the considerable hill to the MRT). That is why you are seeing many people talking about starting at Harbourfront. If you want to go to Sentosa using the cable car I would do that option...get on at Harbourfount and go up to Mount Faber getting photos of the climb, then possibly walk round at the top before doing the run down to arrive at Sentosa. Apart of review, the Cable car will give best high view Singapore. For greater experience , please look for late evening or night ride

  • 4/5 Andri R. 2 years ago on Google
Great for view of Singapore with family. Operating hours have changed due to COVID. Advisable to call in and check before heading down. Valet services available at an affordable price. Better than having to park your car on your own further away from the station. Restaurants available (non-Halal) and great for big groups too.

There’s only two way tickets for the Cable car, and no one-way ticket for those who walk to the top, and want to enjoy the bird view going down, especially for the children. Pls upgrade the services to be more flexible and convenient to visitors.

For any and all #fun you've got planned on Sentosa Island, the top way to get there, literally, is the Mount Faber #CableCar.

  • 5/5 Leah L. 1 year ago on Google
For as low as $3.00 you can ride on the cable car, this is only for the SG residents and applicable on Sentosa Line. It was great fun bringing my little boy. He actually practices his color recognition with the help of the colorful cabins. You can maximize your ride by boarding from Imbiah Station then alight to Siloso Beach and wander around in Fort Siloso then go back again to the cable car to finish your one round trip. It’s good to have a break to avoid feeling dizzy. And if unsure, just approach the staff, they are friendly and happy to help.

A great experience but not cheap at S$38 per person but it’s cheaper than a one way ticket etc . and you get to explore different parts of the island including the Sentosa island cable line too. Great views .

I have fond memories of Mt Faber because my maternal uncle brought me here with his girlfriend when i was very very young. Thought it was a starry starry night and breezy. Many years later, joined an overnite trek from Mt Faber to Kent Ridge with a school of students. Fun adventure. Not a very accessible location, unless you have your own transport or walk up here, else just cable car. Hot during the day, an evening visit should be ideal.

  • 5/5 Ah W. 1 year ago on Google
Nice ride. Every friends who come singapore will bring them over for a ride. Recommend to take the ride around 5oclock - 7 o'clock. Where you can enjoy the scenery of sunset view and different of day and night light. Purchase the ride that come with 6 Station will be more worth it with some topups. So every station you can alight to have some photo taking . Although along many years there is some hiccup of the cable car. But I would say singapore will maintain and have a professional team to services it well. Consider purchase with DBS/POSB to enjoy more discount for the ride.

The view is amazing in the mount Fabre. I think it is the highest station of all. There were nice picture locations. We were in a packed schedule so couldn’t walk around and appreciate the view. In the round trip you will get this free of charge as well.

Staff were friendly and efficient. Since it was a weekday, the lines were not too long and they let you have one car to your whole party rather than combining groups to fill up cars. Would recommend buying the unlimited day pass online as they offer a special deal.

It's a bit of a long wait when I visited about 20 minutes but it's definitely a highly recommended way to getting into sentos Island the views are pretty breathtaking and if you've never been in a cable car quite exhilarating

Visited Sentosa Island via cable car as it was a must do (so I was told). Thankfully the line wasn't too long, and it moved quickly. The Team were very efficient and the price was reasonable for a full day pass. As you can imagine the views were spectacular from all sides. We took a second cable car to the beach and it had windows you could open or close. All cars had aircon which wasn't bad. Certainly a great way to visit Sentosa and the beach area. The views were certainly worth it and its a generally fast ride.

The views are so amazing, I think the ticket is a bit on the pricier side but it is worth it. The cable cars seem very well kept and it is not bumpy at all - this is important for someone like me with a fear of heights! :)

Must do experience if you are in Singapore. Beautiful view of the city, greenery and Sentosa island from the cable car. It is also great way to enter Sentosa island or visit Faber Peak. We have taken a one year membership which turns out to be cheaper if you use cable car twice also.

  • 5/5 Mihir T. 8 months ago on Google
Ahh first of all a breathtaking view of Harbour front which will give you a neck sprain as you’ll be adrenaline to capture the view of the sight. 360* camera is highly recommended as there is a slight space in cable care to capture the stunning view. Do plan for both afternoon and evening travel time so that you can have a glimpse of both day and night and which will help you to create a good Instagram reel.

Singapore cable car connects the city to the sentosa island and the imphal land . This rope car is available for 35$ per person and discounts are available for specific cards. The ride is 15 min long and connects to the sentosa island. The land of indonesia will be seen far far away from the ride. The beauty of the port singapore is seen. suggestion is to carry handfan as the cable car is very sultry. There was no much wait time as we travelled during the weekend. Suggestion is to use this transport to go to sentosa universal studio

One of the highlights of visiting Singapore is undoubtedly the breathtaking Cable Car experience. We hiked Mount Faber to reach the station, allowing us to pause, rest, and admire the beauty of Singapore along the way. Despite the rain during our ride, the magnificent views from both the Mount Faber and Sentosa lines managed to captivate us. It was a truly unforgettable journey that combined the thrill of the cable car with the serene charm of Singapore's natural landscapes.

Singapore cable car ride is a must do. Excellently planed and built by the Singaporean government. You can reach the cable car start point easily by bus, or taxi. I got there by taxi from Hilton orchard hotel in 20 minutes and fare was Singapore $ 16.6 There are different packages available when you reach the ticket counter, I chose "fly & play" in S$ 114.5, which includes unlimited two way cable car rides including Sentosa cable car also, plus you get Universal studio entry ticket. The views from the cable car are mesmerizing especially during sunset. You can have a bird's eye view of the whole Sentosa island 🏝️, harbour, universal studios, and shipping lines. The staff is Sooper cooperative and friendly.
