👍👍 So glad I found this little hole in the wall! Love it! The space is small and intimate, you are immediately greeted by a friendly Japanese staff (owner?). The gyoza was lip-smacking good - juicy and flavourful inside, crispy skin outside. We also had ramen and karaage. Love the karaage too - exactly... People often mention gyoza, Gyoza, good, service,

So glad I found this little hole in the wall! Love it! The space is small and intimate, you are immediately greeted by a friendly Japanese staff (owner?). The gyoza was lip-smacking good - juicy and flavourful inside, crispy skin outside. We also had ramen and karaage. Love the karaage too - exactly typical Japanese izakaya style. Also have a good selection of sake and shoju at affordable prices. Love this place, will definitely be back!

OMG!!!! Where to start … we tried the spicy gyoza and the cheese gyoza and the yaki gyoza and all were AMAZING. Also had the spicy fry ramen and it was bright and creamy and just the right amount of spice. And I loved the sake - had a bottle that they recommended and it did not disappoint. Wonderful waitstaff with great service. Highly recommend.

The dimly lit space is adorned with simple decor, creating a chill and welcoming atmosphere. They serve a delightful selection of authentic Japanese gyoza and a variety of sake options, allowing guests to pair their dumplings with a range of Japanese rice wines for a complete experience. During our visit, we tried their - Original Pan fried Gyoza - Coriander Gyoza - Claypot Spicy Soup Gyoza - Taiwan Mazesoba - Sparkling Sake - Masu Sake The savory filling of their gyoza offers a rich and meaty taste. They offers vinegar, lemon & pepper and also chilli oil as dips. The gyoza was elevated into a tangy and slightly spicy kick from these dips. Meanwhile the Coriander and Claypot Spicy Soup also offers a different flavour to their Original Pan Fried Gyoza.

We didn’t drink, but the food delighted. Tasty gyozas, dumplings and ramen, with very rich broths. The different gyoza flavours were very interesting and unique. Try the cheese one.

Dam bad service and I mean real bad kind. Went up to 2nd floor to get seat and this pinoy server chase us down. Ask her why and she told us no food on level 2 and go level 1 to order. Level 2 is strictly drinks only. Doesn't make any sense why you call yourself gyoza bar but only serve drinks. There was a big table full at the back and seem to be having drinks and food. Atmosphere looks ok thought. Too bad didn't get a chance to try it out as WE WERE CHASED OUT! HERE: 22 Dec 22

The food is good and the portion is generous. Their gin tonic is nice too. Coriander salad is unexpectedly great.

Very nice place to drink and chill! The ambience is excellent and the Gyozas are lovely. Coriander Gyoza is a must try, the mix is really good!

Chill and cosy place to catch-up over drinks! Really loved the ramen and one of the fermented dishes (can't remember what, was a fish). The drinks were really good too, especially the sake!

Started going to Matsuri Ramen a couple of years ago after work as it was the perfect place to unwind after a long and highly stressful week. The small cozy space of the very traditional ramen shop just adds to the charm of the place and together with their excellent customer service it was the best way to end the week. Most importantly the food was absolutely value-for-money. Fast forward a couple of years later, I've always noticed a 2nd floor Gyoza Bar but never ventured. One day I just did and the rest is history. Best bar I ever been in Singapore, and its been my favourite place since. The free-flow price is unbeatable; food and service is 100% spot on and the vibe is unpretentious and straightforward. I've had many amazing nights here since then all thanks to Shingo-san, and ganpai to many more years to come!

Came here because of Zermatt's reccomendation. The gyozas are really super good! Beer is a little expensive but the gyozas make it all worthwhile.

Very cozy place. Had the gyozas and mapo tofu mazesoba. They were amazing! Best gyozas I’ve had. Will definitely be back!

Gyoza bar is, as the name would suggest, a bar that specializes in serving gyoza. Seating is quite limited and the place is popular with the after work crowd, so if you want to get a seat on a weekday make sure you get there before 7pm. Food wise - you can't go wrong with the pan fried gyoza, but I'd also advise trying the gyoza with soup. The pan fried gyoza also come with a side dip. There are several options to choose from, all of which add a great little twist of flavour. Bar wise - there's a good selection of sake. They also serve draft beer, champagne and some whisky's.

Overall we had an okay experience here, my favorite was the cheese gyoza with honey dipping. The original gyoza was average in my opinion, nothing special. Cozy vibe, service was quick but don’t expect hospitality (understandable since the bar staff was only one person)
