WARNING ! EXTORTION! SCAM! PLEASE DO NOT GO !please make sure you get the menu with price and not the one the lady handed us with just pictures without price. Always ask how much is a fish or anything that needs to be weighed because we paid SGD 180 for a 1.2kg fish which doesn't even taste that good. Lady was super pushy and trying to get us to order crabs, scallops and bamboo clams repeatedly when we said no many times. Obviously trying to rip us off as much as possible! Still cannot believe the fish was SGD180! Crazy ! And that's not even including service charge! 2 plates of fried rice for sgd48 when a portion like that only cost about sgd18 in a usual tze char shops! PLEASE THIS IS A TRAP!

Their pricing is at a criminal level at this point. Extremely expensive. The other reviews speak for themselves and they're right to say that it's a tourists' trap. How can a steamed fish be valued at $166??? The fish was not even tasty. It lacked garlic and ginger. Do not go. Save yourself to buy a decent dinner in Chinatown!

Warning to tourist! It's a trap before u know it your bill is insanely expensive as if you are dining in a 5 star hotel! The waitress is so pushy to reco dishes like chili crab, scallops and other bamboo thingy, even if we kept on saying no, we decided to order fish instead, she didnt tell us the cost of the fish ( the hell we don't know that pricing is per grams! cz she didnt show us the menu with price!) Water is $ 4??? (Dasani? ) Not even Evian..what a terrible experience, you will be stressed after. The place is lousy too. Not worth of a place to eat and enjoy, you will ended up like being duped. Our total bill is $ 499 plus , just imagine..we will never dine in this place again!

Avoid at all costs!! The prices on the seafood are a complete scam. They don’t show a menu with prices when ordering, and also overstate how big the fish is (they charge per 100g). The food quality is good, but the prices are definitely a scam.

Location was good, think that is the only good thing on that restaurant. Staff try to push you to order things you don't want. Food is tasteless and roo expensive. If I had Internet and could have checked the reviews earlier would not have gone there.

Firstly all F&B are trying to get out of the CoVid restrictions, so I cut some slack. However unless you are super hungry, have a lot of money in your pocket, and can withstand rude, rushing (becuase they will not employ more people) keep on walking on by. Beer Pint @15 at least when you order a Tiger beer you do get Tiger...but when you order a Singapore Sling for your significant other you may as well scoop up Singapore River Water. I cant write about this with out swearing so I will stop, but a Singapore Sling is supposed to be Pink/Reddish, they tried to say people dont like it that way. I will say, that the fourTiger Prawns although expensive at $28 each were very good, a signature dish I suppose....the rest was overpriced hawker style food. The Bamboo Clam was ok a little oily. If Ripping off people is the way to recover from CoVid...better look somewhere else!! My Bill ...$338 spoilt a good evening.

In the evening they put out tables and cheap buket of beers, to attrack drinkers and tourist but DO NOT ORDER ANY FOOD!!! Thought that would be a normal price, me and a couple of friend ordered 2 French fries and 1 portion of Fried Calamari, without check the menu and "surprise surprise" how much was the bill? $80 !!!! 65 EURO!!! Obviously I'll never back again and I'll make sure everyone knows about this scam!

Total crime. Extremely overpriced. Chips were overdone - $16, no ketchup only sweet chilli sauce. The fish was ok, but not grilled as the menu said, looks like boiled.

Rip off - stay away. We love Singapore and the people, culture and food but pls stay away from this place. Simply put an absolute rip off and SCAM! We were hooked in by the old guy who seemed nice and offered free drinks for first round. The young guys serving us were good but the waitress was trying to push the crab into us at ludicrous prices. Satay skewers good but rest average at best. Had a meal at the hawker center for lunch for $7.80 that was so far better it isn’t funny! Have added copy of bill which is just a joke. I love giving great reviews but only where warranted and this one at the other end of the spectrum. Really disappointing and bad for Singapore Tourism as have read other reviews which are same. This place should be out of business - simple.

Upsold from the seafood stir fry dish we ordered ($44) to 4 prawns bbq’d. When they came out they were huge and delicious. However, much more food than we wanted and $167 for the 4 prawns. Our total bill for dinner was over $200 for 2pax for food that would have been about $90 in other venues in SG. Didn’t check reviews (won’t make that mistake again). Pricing NOT clear. They will always try to upsell. Most seafood is not actually fresh (frozen from overseas) but you don’t know that unless you ask. Also, our pints came out as standard size and when we asked why they acted ignorant. NEVER EVER give these people your $$ Absolute criminals! Completely dishonest and total scammers!!

I'll be generous and give it a 2* because food was ok (but not fantastic!). But this is a tourist trap street, and I think this restaurant is part of it (the attitude when you look at the menu and they insist that you eat there), but the price was too much for the meal, and an overpriced bottle of water. They add service etc. to the indicated price too...

Service was not great, as we wanted to order 2 pcs of steamed Bamboo Clams, the server woman told us minimum order is 4 pcs. No where in menu does it say that. We canceled the order as we were not hungry after we cancelled then she said fine its ok. Feels very dishonest. Their green curry was horrible. Salted egg chicken was very dry and salty, not much of salted egg taste. The only better thing was their baby kailan and garlic, also thai lemon iced tea, steamed bamboo clam. We didnt order seafood there as we were just looking for a place to sit and not hungry, though the seafood at other tables looked ok. But from our experien e with the few dishes, would not recommend their chinese/so called Thai dishes. Just maybe seafood and dribks only. But not a restaurant we would return back to as food was below average and service was not great.

I'd highly avoid this restaurant. Very overpriced and service is quite poor. I had my worst experience in Singapore at this restaurant. We didn't have an Internet connection to check the reviews, so we just went in. Here is how it went: The menu wasn't very clear about pricing. The waiter basically said 'small' 'meduim' 'large' to refer to items on the menu. She also asked if we wanted rice, then added it to the bill (it makes you feel like it's included when they ask). We also ordered a "medium" fish, and this was 1kg fish priced at $138. The fish took ages to arrive, was very faty, and the majority of the weight was bones, fat, and head weight. In all honesty, I didn't find it tasty at all. The total bill was $240 for fried prawns, prawn pineapple rice and the fish (including service and tax). 2 persons dinner costing this much would have not been a problem if Value for Money was met. But in my opinion, we paid too much for way to less The gentleman was very furious when I told him I would share my experience on google reviews. He threatened me with his lawyer and said he has my details from the card after I've paid. He also claimed that I didn't want to pay the tax on the bill. By the time I was enquiring what was that extra amount added for.

Visited this restaurant recently. The food is nice and seafood is very fresh. Staff are very prompt and friendly. They have a wide variety of alcohol selections. Good atmosphere to dine or have a drink with an awesome unblocked view of the Singapore river. Will definitely visit again!

Had an awesome dinner here. Food is fresh and hot. Seafood is awesome, fried youtiao is crispy, noodles portion is good and duck is nice. Will recommend this place for an occasion.

The restaurant is a complete ripoff. A tourist trap par excellence! The lady on the streets tells you fabulous things about two free cocktails per person - and then you only get them if you spend at least 50 SGD p.p.. The food is ridiculously overpriced: a small bowl of plain steamed rice is 3,50 SGD. One (1) dry-as-a-bone deepfried chicken breast with no sides, costs you 52 (!!) SGD. And last but not least you not even get a proper bill. They are even faking that one in order to avoid taxes. Speaking of avoiding... Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Scamming. They deliberately put a high amount of food they serving, not as we ordered and urge to pay all of it. I hope no one eating at your restaurant and you ran out of business. You are so evil fooling customer.

The food was bland but ok i guess. Way overpriced though. The toilet was clogged 🤢 only positive was the view, maybe have a Beer here but please dont waste your money on food.

Stay away. The food didn’t taste anyting! the beef was overcooked and so was the noodles. My partner ordered quite an expensive beef stew and was asked if he wanted rice, without being informed about the extra cost. The waiters were not very polite and did not give us time or room for deciding. The only positive was the sea view, unfortunately it does not save poorly made food. Do not waste your time or money here.

It's a scam!! We ordered a small steam fish, small plate sambal squids, 6 pieces of raw oysters for $300+ the total bills for 2pax! (just the oyster itself already changed us for $90+ for 6 pieces only!! I've never in my whole life eat this kind of normal oyster, not even the big type which alot of meat for such an expensive price! And before we order I did ask the waitress was it like 6 for $16+ or it's for per piece? She reply is for 6 as shown in the menu. We were shocked when we call for thhe bill. We did argue with the waitress which she lie to us for the oyster price. And she still denied that it was actually per piece as shown in the menu. And she even take the menu which paste a tiny sticker written per n show to us again. But when we go to the customers table n took the menu from the table which she show to the customers. For those menu for the customers never stick any which shown per piece below the pic!!!

Visited here a few times for happy hour only and the service was awesome. Happy hour is a great deal with a nice view and breeze. It is one of the best happy hours on the water. Cannot speak for the food as we haven’t eaten here but we really enjoyed drinks on the water. Would recommend they add dim/warmer lightbulbs to bring more ambiance to the river vibes.

the chicken satay was pathetic and had a weird fishy smell and taste.. save your time and money and eat at any of the other places at boat quay

The food and the price is quite reasonable. During lunch time, you can get a $12 lunch set. The Kangkong vegetable is a bit salty but you can ask for less salt. Generally, it feels good.

Run away!! This is a quintessential tourist trap that will con you with false pricing. A so-so meal will set you back several hundred dollars and if you question the bill (because you simply will not believe it) they will verbally attack you and threaten to call the police. Check out Trip Advisor (like I should have done) and you will see a long list of reviews just like this one. These are con artists, not restaurateurs. Shameful and shocking in a city that takes its tourism reputation seriously.

The fish (Grouper Steamed grouper With Lime and Garlic) was ok but afterwards instead of S$ 10/100g they charged 16 🤌 so no recommendation due price scam. Price issue wasn’t accepted after my claim.
