It has been my yearly pilgrimage to Chinatown before Chinese New Year since I was a young boy. I visited yesterday - 21/1/22 - however this year it was very very different, no more crowd, no more Taiwanese Jellies, no more Waxed-meat shops, no more jostling, no more specialty shops, no more tasting - free peanuts, melon seeds, no more discount bantering, no more good cheers n push around….. Rather the atmosphere was very subtle n subdued. The night market or pasar malam is merely an extension of the existing shop. So there is nothing mystic or interesting from the normal day to day shopping. Nonetheless it’s the season of CNY n let’s enjoy the good ties n vibes. Shop, eat, enjoy n stay safe….. It's very busy even though it's not a holiday, but all the shop assistants (at least those I visited) serve very kindly, especially when it comes to shopping 😄. For Indonesians who have been to Jakarta, seeing a place like this might remember Tanah Abang 😄

Def a place you have to visit during your stay in SG! A lot of shop selling souvenirs with varieties. Some street food stalls too. I when here when it was a bit early and it wasn't too crowded. Recommended to go to ABC Mart for cheap deals on chocolates and stuffs!

A go to place for all kinds of shopping for locals as well as tourists. There is direct MRT and bus connectivity available. You will get all kinds of clothing, beauty and cosmetics items, bags etc. There are so many varieties of chocolates and other items that can be gifted to your close ones.

Bugis St. Has everything under one roof from clothes to shoes, bags, accessories and souvenirs. You will need approx an entire day to walk around and shop. Incase its your lucky day, some of the shopkeepers do bargain. The collection of clothes and shoes are new and in fashion and are reasonable priced. Opp. Bugis is Albert st. Where you get authentic SG food at a reasonable price. Overall, Bugis does not disappoint. Must visit if you are an avid shopper.

A very big market with some options for food, but you’re better off going to Albert Center behind Bugis if you’re after food, but it is definitely massive with so much to see and do, a lot of the clothing vendors have very similar items and prices, not insanely cheap but not a bad price, definitely fun wondering around here as a tourist!

Cheap clothes/ bags , souvenir such as t-shirts/keychains, chocolates and snacks. Afew non-Halal street food stalls available, I wish there was Halal street food here. Several drinks stall selling a variety of iced fruit drinks to beat the heat. Most parts of Bugis Street is non-aircon. Best to bring cash if you plan to go for a severe shopping fix here.

I'm Singaporean but 1st time going to Bugis Street. It's like a Night market but open whole day. The best part is It's air conditioned. Things are quite reasonable price. Lots of tourists. I enjoyed looking at the shops and spent a couple of hours there.

There are many shops here including food, drink, clothes, pharmacy and gadgets. I suggest you to go straight and the left hand side you will see ABC Bargain centre. This shop sell snacks in low price but they accept cash only.

Bugis Street is the best place to find souvenir and snacks in Singapore. It's price is super cheap. We can buy anything in this place. You can go to here by train from Changi Airport. It is located near by marina bay terminal.

Too crowded! But that was expected as everyone is shopping here especially foreigner. Lot of cheap souvenirs. Got one $1 ice-cream at the back and it was really good! I personally recommend the matcha ice-cream
