The Great World City mall is one of my favorite malls in Singapore. It has a wonderful mix of cafe’s, restaurants, stores etc. An excellent variety of boutiques and lots of amazing f&b options makes the visit to the mall exciting. The mall has ample car parking spots and is also easily accessible by public transport (bus).

Nice modern mall targeted at a more upmarket audience... packed with many foodie places, clean toilets and good sense of direction.. my only personal complaint is accessibility since it's not near the mrt so can't go green.. need to drive or grab...

Plenty to see and do. Seems like more reasonably priced establishments that had nice offerings. You'll still get lost on the escalators and mazes! Looking forward to returning.

Nice shopping mall that was relatively near to the hotel I stayed at (M Social). The mall is average size (as in not too small or too big) and it has everything from shopping, dining and grocery! We had dinner once here at Kou Teppan.

So many eateries - restaurants and food court concepts (Malaysian specialty hawkers, Japanese, Food Republic Singapore hawker fare). Cinema and gym upstairs. Some nice gift shops, toy stores and premium grocery stores. Very nice wine, liquor and cigar speciality store at the basement - Oaks Cellar.

This mall has some nice delectable patisserie places that you can try out whenever you are next here. This place also has an array of eateries to dine out/takeaway to. Also this place has some nice boutique stores along with some known branded stores that you can check out as well. I did see a lot of stores catering to baby stuff & kids stuff so if you intend to look for stuff for kids& babies you won't be disappointed for sure. All & all a nice place to wile away your time at. Will go back for sure.

Pretty decent mall with all your needs - f&b, amenities, groceries, etc. More for families living around the area for frequent shopping and stocking up of daily needs. Only issue is the accessibility. Shuttle bus to newton mrt is available but most do drive down. The Malaysia food street at the basement floor is unique on its own. A few wine boutiques can be found here as well. Overall a more upscale mall than one for a heartlander. Might not frequently visit unless I am looking for something specific here.

Upmarket Shopping Mall and was upgraded with many new tenants now. Rather crowded on weekends. Many F&B outlets here and the Food Junction Foodcourt can get very crowded during peak meal times with good spread of local and foreign cuisines to choose from! There is a big supermarket on level 1 under Cold Storage as “CS FRESH” and many upmarket shops too! Great place to window shop and have coffee in one of the cafes; namely Starbucks!

A nice & homely neighbourhood mall that I frequent quite regularly. Highlights of their tenants are Meidi-ya and a nice food court at level 3. The open air playground is pretty awesome for kids too. And there are a number of enrichment centers which are situated on level 3.

There are many Japanese shops. If you want Japanese Sushi, Sake etc you can get that in this mall. I ate Malaysian dishes. That’s taste is okay. Why are Japanese fruits so expensive? I think buying the fruits in wet market is the best.

Very nice place and shops are very relevant. This shopping mall is good for small families. Loads of activities for the kids to enjoy and very kids friendly. New mrt line stops there making this place livelier again. adequate food choices. Nothing lacking here. Out door pocket garden is conducive when weather is not too hot.

One of the high end shopping mall in Singapore but it is less crowded compared to Orchard’s shopping malls. So the timing we visited was between 3-5pm weekday. This give us good timing to chat while having little bite. This shopping mall is quite different from others, I can feel the spirit of the store helpers were much more pro-active, enthusiastic, polite and having higher standards of servicing than other shopping malls. Probably here is mostly wealthy people hang out and so the overall atmosphere is more classic. That also means the shoppers are more classy, well manner, gorgeous in fashion (not ah lian / beng type), much polite. The price is of course higher than normal public neighborhood. Less tourists. More foreigners lived nearby such as caucasian, Korean and Japanese and so the store sell unique stuff unlike normal neighborhoods malls. The tenants in Great World have strong fund to rent this place also means less likely store will change hand easily. Good place to hang out during non-peak hours, not much people. Let’s stay healthy and happy. Be kind in words and make the world a better place. Stay Peace! Facebook: Joanne Peacemind

It change a lot since I last visited a couple of years ago. Many shops were gone when we last visited. A good place to hang out in. The only downside is the prices is a bit high for many items sold in those shops, so we didn't actually buy much.

Once a failing mall that some from my generation would have thought that it be eventually teared down for other commercial reasons. Now, Great World City provide to me a whole new view with shoppers consisted of family & friends bustling with joy. Well controlled during this pandemics period, this mall and its operators played together at best to ensure guidelines be met while struggle to serve consumer for some light of recovery. Well done 👍👍👍

They have upgraded this shopping centre alot, compared to 20 years ago. Alot of new shops and restaurants. You can get pretty much everything you need. The shopping centre is not very big, but also not very small, the size is just right. But, it does have a few of my favourite eating place like Imperial Treasure, p.s cafe, DTF, putein and etc. It also has my favourite cold storage supermarket and Japanese bakery. 😊 shopping 🛍

Many things have changed around here! This place undergo some renovations and I really love the area! Its even better than before… looks newer!! I have only been here once which I was much younger so I don’t really have much fond memories of the time I was there… I really liked the facilities there like restaurants, shops and many more! The basement is all Japanese things like marts, restaurants. Also below is actually another MRT exit linking to Great World MRT station which is still under construction! Waiting for that area to be open soon so it will be more convenient for commuters who comes here…😊😊

Was there for lunch on 28 December at Din Tai Fung Restaurant. The place seems to be popular and we waited for a short while for a table. Food was great and we enjoyed it very much. Balance of spinach was added to the noodles as we did not want to waste it.

Discovered a hidden biophilic respite amidst the commercial hustle and bustle of Great World City. Small but refreshing and rather therapeutic to take in the soothing greenery and open views of the surrounding landscape. The adorable faux animal topiaries exude a sense of childlike wonder and calm delight. This roof terrace garden is located at Level 3 (same level as Food Junction and Amazonia indoor playground).

This mall is one of my favorites, especially for the diverse food options available in the basement and, of course, the Meidiya supermarket. The whole neighborhood vibe is just delightful and adds to the charm of the place.

One of the malls that I like to visit. It is even better now with the renovation done. It has all the shops I like, from Zara, Uniqlo, Seafolly to Sephora.. hair service, cinema, gym, playground. There're two supermarkets now in the mall, Cold storage (the revamped store is awesome!) and Japanese Meidi-ya (with a food hall). There're many more food/snack options around, which mean more visits to try out :)

I was here previously while mall was undergoing renovations and it was inconvenient at that time. Currently things have improved. The mall has a wide range of retail, services and lifestyle shops, plus supermarket. I will drop by more often in future as it is actually not far from Tiong Bahru MRT station and Orchard MRT station. Best of all, this mall is spacious and not crowded.

The makeover is a palpable success. Last visited in December 2019 when the whole place was boarded up. Wow. What a difference. Unlike most malls in Singapore, the walkways are really wide, layouts are intuitive and none of the claustrophobic feelings. Maybe I am a biased hdb heartlander, but shoppers looked and behaves in a decidedly different way. Positively of course. Another thing, even on a Sunday evening, the crowd is thinner, noise level lower and air-conditioning colder. Yes. And as a mall crawler I tell you - the shop mix is refreshingly different. Makes you feel you are in a different country. Ding Tai Fung was, in my opinion, the best amongst those I have been in terms of overall service quality, food and ambiance. Watched Train to Busan at GV Gemini with the experience of a half filled hall. Walked through a cavernous Cold Storage - again an experience unlike anywhere else. GV GWC is now my favorite mall.

This mall has improved so much but what I wish they got right is the free hourly shuttle timings to Queenstown, the bus times are so inconsistent and unreliable. Please try to adhere to the schedule, there is typically not much traffic in this route so there should be no excuse!). If you are going to do something, do it properly and not lackadaisically just because it is free.

  • 4/5 Max P. 3 years ago on Google
Been there a few times, Carpark is packed most of the time which shows the mall’s improvements in their variety of shops and services. The place is easy to navigate. A good mix of food outlets and services. Only downside is the parking. You be in for a good wait during weekends.

  • 4/5 ununquadium e. 3 years ago on Google
Great world city's most notable feature is the cold storage on basement 1. It has an antique nature Influenced wooden based aesthetic which makes the fruits and other products look fresh and we'll handled. The mall in well organized, however, navigating through the place might be difficult due to several constructions taking place on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The mall is a bit tight to walk around however.

We had a birthday dinner at Bangkok Jam at Great World City. We were impressed with the staff namely Michelle, Robert and Sarah. They were cheerful and very obliging with our many requests. Will come back again.

Kid-friendly place with lots of eateries and shopping options, as well as a huge Cold Storage supermarket. Love the baby changing rooms, playground, and arcade games all around too!

This mall is great. There are plenty of option a and my all time favorite grocery store here Cold Storage Fresh. The store is huge and easy to navigate. Great world will soon have its own MRT access tunnel as well to the NEL MRT. they also have a kids playground which is on the 2’d level. Great place overall would recommend. Also my so loves the train theme in the food junction food court.
