Harry's Bar at level 1 is a great place to chill out. House of Hung also at level is a good place to visit if you are looking for jewellery especially diamonds.

Well I have never visited this place except from outside passing by and one Jewelry shop outside it. I went inside because my friend invited for lunch at one of the shop inside which is Shashlik. There is nothing much at here though. I went directly to level 6 passing by few shops but nothing interest me here. Waze redirected me to park outdoor parking instead of this place. I just notice there is a parking here at basement. I parked outdoor and it happened to be raining that day after I was done. There is no sheltered walkway to other building from here also.

Personally have never liked, and never will, patronize this shopping mall if I can. It's a tad bit too old and run down for my liking. There are not many good shops to shop around; there are more offices than shops. The only shop that makes sense to me is House of Hung / JannPaul, but you'd not visit them on the daily anyways. Parking though, is comparable to the open air carpark next to the building, and that's probably the only reason why I'd be here.

Far East Shopping Centre is an old mall. I go there only to dine at Shashlik Restaurant at Level 6. The Shashlik beef and Ox Tail stew are very yummy. If one wants to splurge on Jewellery, House of Hung is at Ground floor. Beautiful jewelry pieces!

The only reason I used to go to this place is because the shoe repairman is in the ground floor and is a convenient location to get your shoes resoled or repaired but other than that this mall has lost so many good outlets because of increased rent and it is not maintained well I think very soon it will be brought down and something new will come up there the whole mall smells of stale cigarette smoke and incense sticks which is a very peculiar smell, reminiscing for karaoke bars and massage parlors.

Becareful of the security guards in this mall. Stopped along the carpark for less than 5 min and my car got wheel clamped. They demanded money to release wheel clamp, so I had to “pay now” to the guards. Bad luck if ur heavily pregnant, because the guards don’t give a damn. Inaccurate print of their notice, because it says they would wheel clamp in the car, if it is not removed in 20 min. Guards eat money

Security guards here are not human. Robots without a personality. They must be real fun at parties. I avoid both 7-11 and Cheers at the main floor because of them.

You can find many helper agency here. Those agency usually accept walk in customers. Helpers usually comes to the agency office after 11am so even they are open from 10am better don’t hurry. And there are many golf shops also. One high end watch seller at the first floor.

Little run down place as it's probably really old. But this place has a 711 and a cheers side by side. A massage place, food options. Money changer, shoe repair. And also a yoga studio. Basically everything you care for, just a little dirty for Singapore standard

The interior is cramped and a bit rundown. Not much inside either apart from a few shops. The most useful part of this place is the foreign exchange place (for travelers).

This mall is not the most beautiful, but it is very functional. There are tons of maid agencies here in particular, plus other random stores. It is a bit hard to navigate but if you know the floor and number of where you are going, it should be fine.

I can do no better than adopt one of the more popular reviews on TripAdvisor: "Far East Shopping Centre is among the older, less visually attractive, and more downmarket shopping malls in its neighbourhood. There is little shopping in this mall: a few lower-end tailors and antique shops, some jewellery stores; the most important shopping seems to be several golf stores on Level 2. Otherwise, lots of maid agencies and acupuncture centres (with physicians, not massage parlours)."

The whole of seven eleven smells like the Indian like incense , can you guys be more considerate to others? You may do continue to do your rituals outside the store, but not inside. Management please do something about this.

Go to place for anything related to Golf. Seriously, so many shops and only thing about golf I didn't find inside is the buggy and a golf course. And there are a few shops which sell school uniforms BIBI BABA, and a few tailoring shops for suits and ladies garments. Didn't find any food places though.

Functional, dystopian, retro. Narrow, confusing architecture, almost claustrophobic. Eclectic mix of sports shops, tailors & fashion vendors, jewelers, food joints, bars, health services & foreign worker dealers. Strata title owners means this building is resigned to poor patchwork management until enblockers rule the day.

I love going to the mall. It's a great way to get out and see people. I also like to go shopping, but I don't always have time. The mall is a great place to go when I need something.

Nothing much has changed in the last 20 years. Now more stores offering golfers seeking a new weapon, a new enhancement, or just the thrill of change. Across the street from Isetan Scotts - the mecca of golfers, FESC is the Alladin's Cave. Here you need to know your stuffs and what the game of golf entails - testerrone aside. You need to wade through the slick pitches and "irresistible finds." But yes, there are treasures here and maybe today is your lucky day.

  • 3/5 W. H. 1 year ago on Google
Pretty quiet, except for the occasional visitors to golf shops and students studying in the enrichment centres, this shopping mall has seen better days abit pre-covid days... !

  • 3/5 Richard C. 2 years ago on Google
An old shopping centre that definitely needs a new facelift. Used to be one of the go to place in the 80s. Since then, it has been overtaken by many new shopping centres which is bigger and better in varieties.

  • 5/5 Sutheswaran R. 1 year ago on Google
I give 5 star because of its parking service. I don’t know if $3/hr is expensive but for me its not easy to find parking in Orchard Rd. This place have good parking spaces and always available unlike the stupid Angulia Car Park beside which is always full and filled with SG chinese car bullies 😡

one of the worn-out shopping centre's along upper orchard rd that will most likely be replaced soon. a few pubs inside keep the former vibe alive but it's clearly on the down turn

This is mainly about the second floor, Golf, Golf and Golf. Find a second hand club for one lost or broken, get a women's set by Cleveland or Taylor made. Guys will re shaft or put on a new handle. Golf attire and shoes. Go for a fossick around.

Lovely old snack stall in the hidden basement of this forgotten building ( near the lift lobby ) . I love love love the fried bee Hoon and fried noodles here . Particularly popular for their fried shrimp dumplings too . It’s a one man show here , stall is manned by an elderly auntie so please show some patience 😝
