Had a nice popiah at this My Cosy Place which was at the far corner after you ride the escalators up. Found little copy shops that still do photocopying and flim development shop. This place is like stuck in the past. Interesting.

HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE @Coronation Plaza. The security guy taking the temperature /monitoring QR Scan infront of FAIRPRICE is supperly #RUDE & #IMPOLITE.!! Totally NO BASIC MANNER. Don't understand why the building management hire him. Management's big mistake - he doesn't even know how to tell /inform people politely. With his annoying face and that kind of irritating attitudes, no wonder the place is totally or somewhat dead. I'm so sorry that the Coronation Plaza management hired him.

Its a great mini shopping mall with tuitions, food, maid services, doctor, fairprice, bank, Pet Lover, Photo/Printing services, DVD rental, Starbucks, KFC, massage, nail and hair, stationary/hardware shop and even a clothing shop! Hairdressers and laundry services too! Honestly for a small mall its pretty versatile.

Decent shopping mall to take a quick bite for students. Not many shops are of interest but considering the location, it would suffice. Has shops like Fairprice, Starbucks and some others

Nutc Finest is only finest with their prices but very empty and shallow in the produce and stock. Very very disappointing, missed the previous Ntuc store that serves the community with our needs but not in the name finest, in what?????

A small shopping complex with a good size FairPrice Finest that provides most of the day to day grocery needs. There is a Starbucks, KFC, Thai restaurant, and burger food truck up front. The popiah shop upstairs in nice. There is a UOB bank, a tennis equipment store, and barber shop. Overall quite convenient and there is a bus stop right in front of it.

As the name implies, a very small local cafe tucked away at the 2nd floor corner of the small shopping mall. Run by a Catholic family. It sells local favourites like laksa etc. Can get very crowded.

A legacy neighborhood mall that is showing its age. It’s been around for a good long while like Jelita Shopping Centre. It still serves its function well enough by providing services like therapeutic massage, a Pet Lover’s Center, and of course an NTUC Fairprice supermarket on the first level. With a bus stop located right in front, access is not an issue!

Huge NTUC supermarket. Extremely crowded from fridays to Sundays. Long queue even with all cashier counter are open. Services are good. 3rd storey has a coffee shop opened in late august 2017, thai authentic cuisine cheap and delicious, the famous popiah. The beverage are awesome great. Prompt service. Aloy of small eateries.

This mall is something like an iconic institution to those who studied at schools and colleges from MGS to ACS (Barker). The mall is definitely showing its age.... The anchor tenant is NTUC Fairprice and a bank both located on the Ground Floor. The second and third floors are basically occupied by maid agencies, hair salons and eateries. The plus point is that all eateries here serve good and reasonably priced food and drinks. The Peranakan eatery on the second floor is especially good.

Visitor unfriendly. No shade for drop off. No grace period parking. Supermarket customers block up entire road to load items often making others wait long due to narrow drive through lane. All exacerbated during rainy day.

  • 3/5 Marc A. 3 years ago on Google
There's really nothing much you can do here with UOB and FairPrice on the first floor, and an assorted range of shops on the upper levels. This is typical of a strata title mall where each unit is owned individually as opposed to leasing it from a managing agent/mall. Typically, you would find students visiting the place to photocopying their notes or developing/printing photos on the second story. There's also a snack stall that is loved by many for its old school offerings like cup corn, waffles, and that cheap and super sweet bubble tea. There used to be a B52 cafe on the 3rd story but has since been taken over by another owner. Once again, it's a place for you to quickly drop right in to get things done before leaving right away - there's nothing there that would keep you staying for over an hour.

It's an OK place. People from neighbouring schools come over to eat and for tuition on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The overall infrastucture does give away the age of the building so it isn't exactly the most modern mall in Bukit Timah. I suppose you'd only come here for the Fairprice on level 1 or fo eat (level 3), tuition, or to visit the employment agencies. Oh and another random quirk: as of when this was written the escalator going up to level 2 has up on the right and down on the left but it's reversed for the one to level 3. Always feels a bit weird taking the escalators. Edit: As of now, the escalators haven't been functioning for 6 or so months

Wanted to come to Coronation Shopping Plaza to try out the popiah from the stall The Cosy Corner. Sadly it is not available on Sunday. The shopping mall is quite dated and stalls inside mostly provide enrichment class or sports gear replacement. There is even a Thai Restaurant hidden on the 3rd level of the plaza.

  • 4/5 Vane t. 2 years ago on Google

Interesting mall that feels like a snapshot from the 80s. Lovely eateries that withstood the test of time, and brings me back to Secondary school days :)

  • 3/5 Soar l. 2 years ago on Google
Very disadvantages for old n disabled due to no access from carpark to 1st floor. Unreasonable n rude security refused entry via back door after climbing up 20 steps but allowed delivery to enter to send goods to 2nd/3rd floor restaurants. Old folks must alight in front which is uncovered on rainy days hence persons will be drenched. Tried out on 3rd level only thai restaurant which was so so but popiah stall next to it was of good quality for reasonable price charged. Need to visit a few more times to try out all the food outlets. NTUC Fairprice was very congested so hope management would display less to allow buyers to evacuate during emergency. This outlet is way below normal standards so only good point is the location. Carpark spaces are limited hence shop after peak hours.

Pretty much the old coronation shopping plaza and like most older malls, this place has been a staple of the neighbourhood at Bukit Timah for many residents who live in the area. Most groceries are available and found at NTUC Finest and there's even a really good doctor and pet store on the 2nd level.

Drove to the UOB branch there and parked in the basement carpark. I did not realized that it is a Privileged banking branch. Was out in less than 5 minutes and was charged $2.40. The MCST should have allowed a grace period of 10-15 minutes like most other private and HDB carparks.

  • 4/5 Paul Y. 1 year ago on Google

One of the older surviving malls left on Bukit Timah, kept alive by the students and residents of the road and its many schools. Decent sized NTUC Fairprice inside with a good range of snacks, food, and produce. Upstairs, there is chicken rice, opticians, and a host of small businesses who have been in the mall for decades.

  • 5/5 Abel N. 1 year ago on Google
Charm upon this really good Academy at level 3 of this mall! Kim & You Academy is the top 3 best tuition centres in the entire clementi and I am glad they open another branch here in Bukit Timah! I am signing my children up for lessons here!!

  • 1/5 Ling L. 1 year ago on Google
Horrendous. Escalator broke down. Went up with our trolley of groceries and had to carry it back down?! Toilets are super clean though. Shops upstairs seem to be in another world. Hardly any customers, very old world and a wonderful slow slow pace of life except that the shops' staff cannot be bothered with customers so overall not a place worth visiting

  • 4/5 Valkrye L. 1 year ago on Google
There is an aura of nostalgia when you enter the shopping centre that is reminiscent of the 90s. The close proximity of the stores also mean there is that lingering scent of food wafting through from the cozy eateries in the upper floors.

  • 1/5 Christine C. 3 months ago on Google New
The loading bay outside is barricaded and unfriendly for shoppers at NTUC finest in particular the older customers. Unlike the other NTUC outlets in Spore they did not retrofit the frontage such that it is more user friendly and safer for customers to load their groceries to the car and there is no lift that goes directly to the basement carpark for trolleys.

This is a review of the plaza not the shops inside. The place is old, feels run down and their toilets may be among the worst I've used in Singapore.
