The clinic looks clean and professional save for this recent unpleasant trip. I went to do a driving licence med ex.  When the staff examined my vision, I said my right eye had a cataract surgery so I could read every letter. I forgot about this being an op when I saw the doctor.  When he asked if I had any op before, I said none without hesitation.  An op, to me is when one is sick.  But the eye op is done when one is not sick, so it escaped me.  I then realised I had forgotten I had this op though a very simple surgery where I was back to normal when I got up. Before the form fill was completed, I mentioned the eye op during the conversation.  What shocked me was his response.  I was speechless,   He sounded stern and clearly reprimanding, he assumed I intentionally hid the fact.  Even though I apologised he was indifferent. I always thought a doctor is kind and understanding and a listener, not jumping to conclusion. So bad was this that I still can't erase this experience from my memory.

I live nearby and for years this mall has been a total flop. More than half of it is empty. The layout is so terrible. If u like mazes and want to play treasure hunt, this is the place to go. Bonus point, no maps to help find units. Worst still, dirty. There is such low human traffic in this mall but yet the floors aren't clean. Toilets are always so dirty and smelly and wet. Even the fountains have off days. Parking is not cheap too. This mall seriously needs a total reboot. Please get a proper mini mart or a supermarket. I hope that there would be a popular fastfood outlet that is of reasonable pricing opened some day in my lifetime.

Lots of great food here. Little crowd. Most shops were closed when we visited on Sunday afternoon. The outdoor area seems nice for nighttime dining. Affordable fare as well. Only downside is that it's a little out of the way.

This is the worst Springleaf. The empty tables were unclean laden with gravy. Politely asked the staff to clean the table but didn’t get any acknowledgment (see the boys in red shirt in photo). Asked again and an Indian begrudgingly came with a dirty cloth to sweep the food reside onto the floor. Disgusting. In the end we took our own tissue papers and used their hand disinfectant to clean the table.

The mall is rather dead with only a handful of shops opened for business.

Post Covid-19 shutdowns NeWest had reinvented itself. It is now a thriving mall with lots of owner-operated restaurants, bistros, cafes and even a barber shop. Due to its proximity to the Japanese kindergarten and expatriate communities, it has a high number of Japanese ramen, restaurants and even an omakase. Recent addition of Waffletown resulted in a quantum leap in diners and gawkers. Yes, and who says the West is a foodie desert? Psst; by the way, a little bird told me that the shops were all given ample supply of complimentary parking tickets. Yet they were seldom given out - so ask for it

The mall has many empty shops for the longest time, but is gradually filling up, mostly with restaurants. Some of the restaurants at Newest are now our favourites.. hopefully it will continue to attract more and more shops and restaurants to open

HORRIBLE LAYOUT. No way of knowing what the next unit number will be, maps are not accessible. Spent 30 minutes finding the shop i wanted to go to. Don’t waste your time coming to this terrible mall

The whole place is like a ghost town…..I feel very sad for the tenants there. And the toilet was so so horrible, the smell just makes people wanna puke!! Hope the Management will look into this.

Mall shops are OK but the mall management/MCST is non-existent and doesn't really provide good and accurate information on the mall online.

Have many places for food ranging from western, Korean, Japanese and even some Indian cuisines in the mall. There are also clinics and even some fish shops. The place is relatively quiet on the inside but at around dinner time, the outer side where most popular restaurants are located will be buzzing with activity. There are also drink shops like my little coconut and a bubble tea shop. I feel that the location of the mall is about unfair so there are not much famous places like Fairprice, guardian or other franchises which is abit of a negative part. Most businesses are like mum and pop shops that are very cozy and affordable so still do highly recommend newest if you are coming for meals.

Good food there, however, the place is a bit run down. There are a few restraints that never open, and the mall is really small and does not have much to offer. If you are interested in boosting your child's science potential, you can go to OTE ameoba education at neWest. My son goes there and he is learning well. In conclusion, neWest is a very small shopping centre with no supermarket, but it has good food and I will give it a four star rating.

Quite number of food stalls behind facing AYE but not good place to eat in open as smokers smoke a lot. Have to breathe in quite a lot of secondary smoke. M1 telco very bad - poor reception

Nice quiet mall with lots of good food options. Great for kids as they have the space and freedom to roam. Other than restaurants/cafes, they also have many snacks and cakes. Also grabber machines. Most of the food there are highly rated. Would probably have to return a few times to try everything!

🫤 Apart from the shops and bank on the ground level, there is basically nothing much. The building is also not very well maintained with my areas in dire need of repairs or are broken. At the time of my visit, the escalator was out of order.
