One of the largest malls in Singapore that includes stores like IKEA and other popular brands. The best thing about this mall is connectivity towards Jurong East MRT that has East West and North South line. It is very easy to roam around since the navigation map is quite helpful. The only thing they could improve over is fastening the speed of the elevator. It takes significant time for waiting.

JEM is connected to Jurong MRT station via a platform that you can walk across. There are plenty of stores and restaurant within the mall and there is NTUC FairPrice Finest at the basement.

A shopping "JEM" located in Jurong East and conveniently accessible via the Jurong East Bus Interchange and Jurong East MRT Station. Connected to another major shopping mall in the West, Westgate. Creating a new shopping paradise in the West, rival that of shopping in Orchard Road.....

A shopping mall with a good variety of shops, food, fashion, grocery, also a 2 level don don donki. Best mall in the area, unlike it’s neighbour (Westgate) that has no aircon and JCube which is closing down soon. If you are in Jurong East and you are thinking of which mall to go, I would suggest JEM.

Great place for eating and shopping. A mall with many F & B eateries. There are many options. I picked up candles from Yankee candles at level 1. There are links to IMM, WEST GATE, BIG BOX ,J CUBE and Eng Teng Fong hospital.

Since it opened, it has essentially become a local favorite. It contains pretty much everything you could desire in a mall and is fairly modern. large theater, numerous food and beverage establishments, furniture, and even an Ikea. One of Singapore's best malls, and it's also highly accessible.

Upscale mall in the west, together with IMM and West Gate, it should have most Brand’s and stores that you would need. Update (1st Sep 2018) - just visited the upgraded children’s playground on level 5 and was impressed with the wet play area as well as the trampolines and climbing structure. My four year old Daughter loved it. There’s a small shower and changing room beside the playground too. Update (Jul 2023) - the playground is partially open again and kopitiam has taken over the food court on L5. Do use their app to order to get 10% off on your food!

It's a nice shopping centre to go... Alot of shops that are catered to the average Singaporean. Plus it has alot of f&b varieties.

A big shopping mall where you can walk the neighbor malls e.g. Westgate and IMM easily via skywalk. Wild range of goods and food, any kind of thing you can think of. The roof garden offers a splendid scenery of the entire jurong area. A nice spot to sit and chill while indulging sunset.

It's always a fun outing to visit JEM, a wide selections of shops here - from supermarket to fashion, sports, electronic, etc., to pharmacies. Not forgetting the kind of foods you can find here... Best, it is just right next to Westgate, 2 malls in one trip, why not?!! Why I'm giving just 3 stars because most shoppers don't really care about social distancing - standing real close to me while on the escalator, no gap between queue, etc.... Would stay away from visiting again until more controls are in place :(

Nice mall to visit when you are in Jurong East. New additions like IKEA and a revamped Muji are great shops to spend some time in. I love to go to Donki, the bar section is superb. Eateries are aplenty to try too!

I have taken this 1st photo at the entrance of JEM.. can see, many smokers at the open space between JEM and Westgate. Suggestion: to build dedicated smoking area for smokers (reference to 2nd & 3rd photo).

I consider it to be one of the finest malls in western Singapore. With its strategic location, you are conveniently connected to both the MRT station and bus interchange. Almost anything is available here, or you can walk over to Westgate, IMM, or J-Cube, which are just a few minutes away.

  • 1/5 Jay S. 1 year ago on Google
Full up mall. Expensive parking. Limited parking too. An update to my review, I’ve entered the mall’s Carpark at 1801H, with a gps smart watch, to my horror, when I exited I was charged with a timing starting at 17:59:55……. This is unsatisfactory. Is the mall trying to earn more by having an inaccurate timing in its system?

  • 5/5 Su X. 1 year ago on Google
We found this place by Google rating when we are looking for some chairs for our new home. We want solid (better than IKEA) and not so expensive ones (cheaper than Castlery). The place (office/ show room) is in the deep forest of factories, 10-15min walk from Paya Lebar MRT. Though a bit unfriendly to the non-drivers, it is worthy of the effort. They have varieties of chairs, from living room, study room, office to out door. Choice of design, color, and for different scenarios. The workmanship looks good. The best way is survey online and try out on site. The only thing is their orders looks full and delivery to be placed 2 weeks ahead.

  • 3/5 Bernlad J. 1 year ago on Google
Mall itself is fine and has a good mix of shops. Low score was entirely due to the crowds. Completely extinguished my desire to shop and I went home to get my stuff online instead. A good place to shop at if you can stand the excessive crowds (observed many window shoppers who just want to get out of their homes and would leave the mall without spending).

Nice place but is a smaller mall as compared to the rest of the western malls Jem is the first lifestyle hub in Singapore’s west where mid to mid-plus shopping meets entertainment; functionality meets experience and where community culture meets city inspiration. Jem’s name is a wordplay reference of the mall as the crown jewel of Jurong and Singapore’s west. Jem is Singapore’s third largest suburban mall housing 250 units over 580,000 square feet of retail space across six levels. Jem is directly connected to the Jurong East MRT interchange station and located at the junction of Jurong Gateway Road and Boon Lay Way. Major retailers include IKEA Jurong, Fairprice Xtra, Cathay Cineplexes, Don Don Donki, H&M, Kopitiam Food Hall and UNIQLO.

  • 4/5 Eyunni K. 1 year ago on Google
An amazing mall with a superb range of shops and a wide range of options to eat! The best part is it's attached to Westgate which also has its own selection of stores! And the icing on the cake would be the direct access from the metro station

  • 4/5 Mrkplam 1 year ago on Google
Jem is a huge shopping mall - after a while, you could lose your bearings if you do not keep track of your whereabouts using level numbers and eye-catching shop displays. That said, the mall has a good mix of retail, service, and food outlets serving a wide spectrum of visitors. Besides the anchor tenants, many of Singapore's popular chain stores are here, so you should be able to get what you wanted here. Imagine! There are three large banks having their physical presence within this mall to serve their clients! The mall seamlessly connects with Jurong East MRT Station. And Jurong East Bus Interchange is still within walking distance. Partly because of its proximity to transport accessibility, do expect a strong current of human traffic within and around its periphery, especially on weekends and holidays. Do not complain about "the crowd". It is this constant movement of visitors, commuters and mall staff going about their routines that somehow build up a conducive shopping atmosphere, and generate the happy shopping mood that both consumers and retailers have always been looking for. Enjoy your next shopping trip at Jem !

A very fulfilling shopping mall that has everything you need all under one roof! The playground at the top floor is a highlight as well. It is connected to the kopitiam which is quite an amazing food court that serves a variety of food. Overall, a very popular mall that serves the people from the west coast.. Two thumbs up!

All escalators going to the 2nd floor are being maintained at the same time? Wednesday Sept 13, 3pm. Creates a long queue on the lift.

  • 1/5 Seng Wei A. 7 months ago on Google
I work nearby and come here at least 2x/week. Without fail when I arrive/leave one of the escalators between L1 and L2 is always fenced off and unavailable for use. Is it perpetually out of commission? Are you idiots doing servicing during the peak hour periods of 9am and 6pm? Are you trying to encourage foot traffic by having your poor shoppers circumnavigate the entire floor to find the one working escalator? Do better, brainless management.

  • 2/5 Yap Hoe B. 7 months ago on Google
It is a beautiful mall, the highest (5th floor) has a food court ( food fairly good price $$$ ) and a cinema. Basement a NTUC & plenty of restaurants. The only issue with this mall is the elevator is always not working especially basement to ground floor. There r 2 side with elevator and lift ( lift is slow as it need to service from B3-5th floor) also for those who drive the parking for Friday - Sunday is $2.70 for the 1st hours. ( expensive ).

Our family always go to Jem every week for shopping and simply have food . We love the atmosphere and the excitement this place creates in us. We can find everything like designers' shoes, bags, clothes, toys, puzzles, food court, Premier beauty salon, Specs makers, Coconut drink, Cinema are there. Opposite to jem cinema got a whole body Massage chair, Moss Buger. You can find all in one mall. Good place to have fun and relax your mind.

Went to Jem last weekend for food, failed to find diaper changing station for my baby. Went 4 parent room/family room at Lvl 2 and 3, all were under maintenance. Browse through Jem website, all those rooms are so nice. But… none of them available? Hopefully the management will look into this issue.
