Came 2 years ago and now. Didn't see much different since. 4 storey-high mall. Level 4 mostly occupied by cinema. Link directly to Tiong Bahru MRT and central plaza. Mostly browsing at level 2 - daiso, indoor playground for kids, kids stuff, and restaurants at one end.

A crowded mall with lots of eating and shopping! The shops are decent with more popping up compared to a year ago. I'm actually pretty impressed with this mall as there are now more eating places to try. The floors are occupied with many local brands as well. Also very happy to see a Kiddy Palace, Sushi Tei, Daiso, Paris Baguette and a large Fairprice. Kopitiam is opening soon and I look forward to that. There is also an outdoor playground for children. Two thumbs up.

Crowded mall on top of Tiong Bahru MRT with anchor tenants NTUC Finest and UNIQLO, Golden Village cinema. None exciting retail tenants otherwise. Mostly mediocre food on food street level 2 and a crowded Kopitiam on level 3. Fast food joints are McDonald’s, Burger King on level 1, Mos Burger, KFC in B1. Coffee places like Starbucks and 24 hr Coffee Bean Tea Leaf - are always packed and not many available seats. Cheaper local kopi joints like ToastBox and Yakun plus takeaway joints like Wokhey, ToriQ, Crave in B1 adds to the pack. Overall just crowded especially on weekends.

Have been going past this place for ages. Has been updating over the years, restaurants are ok but the wait can be bad at pizza hut and sushiro🐌🐌🐌🐌, reviewing this time due to the relatively novel indoors Pazar malam which features live food. Such novelty is often not seen in Singapore but in China

Walking distance from Residence areas. Not too many shops choices. Wish there are Don don donki or Korea mart there. Value shop very cheap, much cheaper than Daiso.

Sound and look like a boring mall but it has all the basic needs you can ask for. Lot of fast food / restaurants. It has a NTUC Finest with a SG pools for your daily needs and chance to be a millionaire. It has Dasio too to get cheap gift for your house warming parties or birthday to people you are not close to. It has Starbucks to make you feel like a rich busy business person even in the heartlands. It now has Don Don Donki too!

At Tiong Bahru Plaza to attend Tsao Foundation Learning Festival. Many seniors attended the workshop. Goodies bags, ice cream, pop corns - given free to the public. Took a photo from 14th floor, nice view. Tiong Bahru Plaza having some International & local food festival. Fried sweet potatoes $5 for 10 balls. Teochew meat pie - worth trying though is expensive - $4.50 per piece andcwait hour is 30 minutes. Many interesting food there.

Tiong Bahru bakery has a brand new unit in Plaza Singapura that opened quite recently & that naturally feels bright & fresh as a result. The layout meets the customer with the pastries & sandwich counter. The cafe itself is spacious & bright & bigger than the first glance. The layout leads you in with tables & chairs along the aisle & ends with a large window facing the street. Tiong Bahru has become famous for its pastries & the coffee is also really good. Very nice with a cafe that feels like an asset in a suitable part of the mall. Great first visit.

This is a nice surprise for Muslims searching for Halal options. Tiong Bahru mall is located at Tiong Bahru area, which is not an estate with high Muslim population. Yet, on the ground floor East Wing, this entire stretch is lined by one Halal certified restaurant after another. Kudos to Tiong Bahru mall management for giving Muslims an exclusive corner to eat. Here is a listing: Burger King 4 Fingers Soup Spoon Subway Long John Silver's Makisan Check this corner out whenever you're at TB! Posting courtesy of me

I would go to Tiong Bahru Plaza usually to the Bank for Telegraphic transfer, and because I am so used to this bank's service I find that it is very convenience after all, all bank's are about the same . I like this Plaza because it is the place where I would go to buy my cosmetic whenever I need to replenish it.This is the Korean Face Shop because I've been using it so often I find that it's got it value for me. Besides they have got their full range of products. So for me it is convenience sometime it is very crowded but usually I do not have to wait.

I just came here now and I buy my dress it's not expensive. They have a lot of cloths to buy in the middle. If you are not after the expensive dress and some cloths then you need to go here and buy for you. A lot of options they have.

Yesterday, in Tiong Bahru Plaza, I was very surprised when I couldn't find a lift to take my heavy trolley from B1 (NTUC supermarket) down to B2 for the mrr. I asked the staff in the shops and they confirmed that there are only escalators to B2. There's another set of escalators near MacDonald's on ground level. However, my trolley was laden with groceries and the front wheels protrude beyond the width of the narrow escalator steps. I was afraid of causing an accident if I lost control of the trolley on when going down. The trolley was also too big and heavy for me to lift onto a bus. In the end, I took the lift to ground level and pushed the trolley on foot (1 stop) to Redhill mrt to board the train to Queenstown. Took me 45min to get home. Many of my frozen stuff defrosted. Currently there's a campaign on inclusiveness, with videos running in the station, on how to interact with people with disabilities. How does someone in a wheelchair or mums with strollers shop in TBP? How do they get down into B1 shops if there are no lifts to serve them? I hope the mall owners, Fraser's will work with the mrt authorities to resolve this issue.

Easily accessible and located 2-3 mins from the MRT. It’s quite a small popup event, considering it’s only two rows of store - Global food fair until 16 August. A local favourite seems to be the handmade Teochew meat puffs and this china egg roll pancake! Worth a visit only if you’re around the area

The plaza provides various sorts of shops and restaurants including a Food court, a KFC and a Fair Price supermarket in the Basement. The basement entrance is inaccessible during Covid 19 Period. Moving up to the First Floor you may find the Macdonalds there. You may find The Hotpot, Two Hong Kong restaurants, a malay restaurant, and a lamian restaurant on the second floor. All in all, this is a nice plaza to visit down here in Tiong Bahru Station

The one of many malls in Singapore that I love to visit! Other than the convenient array of stores that caters to all needs, they have awesome food and bubble tea here too! Transportation to and fro is also a huge plus.

Great place to shop and access to all types of transportation. MRT, bus stop and taxi stand are all at a walking distance. The mall is very easy to navigate and it is a popular place for hangouts. But, wear a mask and keep your distance as COVID-19 is still here. Abide by the precautionary measures and stay healthy guys! ?

Use to visit in childhood time when we always go for midnight show. Supplies for the changes after so many years. It have become a good location for meet up and easy for outings. They have upgraded numbers of restaurants and outlets. Various kinds of style of food which can let you enjoy slowly. Is convenient for people without transport but can be easy access by MRT.

Tiong Bahru plaza.. no longer the old day's Tiong Bahru plaza.. kind of disappointed of the changes over the years.. but don't just take it from, you need explore it and see if you like it, and share to others how you feel about the place. Important is go there when you are in a happy mode not when you just had a quarrel with someone else and intend to shop to release some unhappiness (that u should go for a beer with your close friend or friends).. other than that enjoy Tiong Bahru Plaza. :) :)

A discount suburban mall with Daiso, brand outlets and decent restaurants. The basement has FairPrice Finest while there is a Golden Village and Kopitiam on the top floor. A smaller shopping complex which has been renovated and is a pleasant shopping and eating out mall. It is self contained and you can get pretty much what you need from clothing, food, cinema, supermarket, restaurants etc.

  • 1/5 CAPSLOCKFTW 2 years ago on Google
The mall is nice overall, but the reason I'm giving it a 1 star review is because the placement of their smoking area is not friendly at all, it is placed near the side walk which is the main walkway to the mall. Every time I pass there I can smell the smelly cigarettes which is not so healthy as we all know. To the management, please consider moving the designated smoking area away from the sidewalk. Thanks.

Tiong Bahru Plaza is a pretty decent mall. Its not too small but not that big. Has many different choices and good stalls. Wide variety of food choices, some personal favourites are Four Fingers & Catheterise. Even includes a GV movie to watch shows, however cinemas are not that big but a pretty decent size to watch movies at. Also love to shop at the Daiso to get stuff not too small and quite big that they sell most items.

Bad traffic flow. Easy to get to from the mrt station but getting back to the station is circuitous with no proper signs. Choice of shops not remarkable, with only ntuc and daiso being the bigger tenants. Other than a small collection of clothes at Uniqlo, there's no shops that carry quality clothing.

Went Mac and was greeted by an extremely rude person serving my food at the food collection point. I ordered 20pcs Nuggets and she said I can’t get curry sauce because I didn’t order a meal. Asked me for $0.30. What logic is this. And she was rude, like i was after a free sauce. When did Mac becomes so stingy, ordered nuggets still have to pay sauce?!

Virgin attempt on Shi Li Fang Not sure but am I the only one who finds it a bit overrated? Comparing it to Hai Di Lao: - HDL has free flow of welcome appetisers - During the dining, the staff will offer to cook for you - The portion and quality of food is legit way better Overall, it is really not worth the service charge. Its kinda sad that Hai Di Lao sets the bar too high for other restaurant. Not implying that it is awfully bad but just okay standard. If you're there, go for their signature broth and along with tomato broth. And their prawn paste is nice too (specially topped up for more) Price Point: $110++

I like this Tiong Bahru Plaza because very so often I would go down to the Bank and all these are in the Plaza itself. What more are you looking for is in the confine area of this building, in fact this Plaza is complete from food to other extras that one might be looking for. I know this place so well for you need to use your eyes for searching for your requirement. The Plaza is just one building but the surrounding gives you your extra. If one is to add on it is all in the confine of the area Tiong Bahru.

The one-star raters said it all - dirty toilet especially the ground floor office tower, lacking crowd pulling mega shops just a sad mixture of eyewear shops (3???) and other underwhelming tenant selection. No sitting area hence folks waiting for tuition centre etc movies parked themselves for hours in Starbucks ordering the cheapest item on the menu and sit for hours.

A stand-alone heartland neighborhood mall serving the Tiong Bahru and probably Redhill and Bukit Merah region. There are many small shops and eateries together with FairPrice Finest at basement and Golden village cinema at the top level. Probably can get almost all required necessities and services in this mall. Very conveniently situated above Tiong Bahru mrt station and is linked via basement as well.

A whole new experience compared to when it first started. This childhood mall has lost its students crowd to other malls. But still a well equipped mall with major banks, food outlets and things you can get for everyday needs. Below that's the MRT and outside you have at least ten buses towards city.

  • 3/5 dorisyong 1 year ago on Google
Tiong Bahru is a very old housing estate so it is only expected to see lots of elderly and aunties milling around the mall. What I really cannot tolerate are the lifts. They move really slowly and the doors open and close really slowly, pressing on already raw nerves. It is especially worse when the lifts are crowded and you can’t find a space to squeeze in. If you drive, available parking lots are usually found only at levels accessible only via lifts. Imagine the multiple frustrations experienced just getting from the car to the mall. The escalators are not much faster too. I almost always instinctively take the escalator nearest to the lift lobby at ground level which leads to to one end of the building on the second level where I need to walk all the way to the other end of the building just to take the escalator up to the higher levels. Somehow, no matter how much they renovate, the corridors of the mall always remind me of the dark corridors of the HDB flat my grandmother used to live in at Kim Tian Road. That HDB estate has since been demolished, but I guess ghosts do not leave easily. Another thing - background sounds. There’s always constant chatter in the background. Very difficult to find a place to listen to phone calls. Oh well. Welcome to Tiong Bahru.

Nice place to search for eateries and there is a Sistic Outlet on Level 2. Watson and a few watch and gold shops can be found here. Banks, decathlon, Golden Village and a large NTUC in the basement is also where most people do their groceries. Sadly, the Challenger store is closing down. Still a food court on Level 3 beside Popular book store.

Good. So many shops, so happy to know got Daiso and popular. But the staff of Venus seems not keen to serve me as a customer. She kept asking what brand of the product. If I know, I wouldn't need her help. So I left with disappointment.

Definitely a great shopping experience here but just to note as far as slow food is concern, Tiong Bahru Plaza has limited options. I took the train and went to Outram Park to have my halal lunch no worries!

A nice mall with varieties. Sad that the food court is under renovations. Good that there were alternate food street at Basement 1 with mostly local foods. Atmosphere was good.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I highly recommend dining here and look forward to coming back soon!
