Quite a large shopping outlet. Like this place as there is many restaurants and retail stores. Will definitely come here again.

Mall with many eateries, especially with expansion and extensions in recent years. The basement level basically houses the eateries, local food, dessert stalls, and supermarket. Higher levels house the retail stores, hair salons, game arcades, and cinema. Caters to all in the family - shopping, food, and entertainment hub.

Usually overcrowded especially the weekends. Carpark is also hard to find if go near lunch time during weekends. Multi-storey carpark helps a bit but entrance from the link bridge is closed now. Other than this, the shop mix is the usual that you find in most shopping centres; Guardian, Watsons. FairPrice etc. The F&Bs are more interesting and they are scattered around the complex. Luckily there is also a cinema for entertainment compare to the lacklustre shops. The layout of the mall is also quite weird. Some shops like MOS burger, KFC, etc. are tucked away in a corner. It can be challenging to find them unless you come in from one of the entrances. There are a few entrances which add to the confusion. You may have to check in and out if you are not familiar. But this gives it a bright and cheery look. And it is also one of the cleaner malls around.

Initially two or 3 times it is confusing from McDonald's side. But later understood there is a connection for two ways in the second level. MRT just inside the B2 level and convenient. All foods, bakeries, supermarkets all are at a place. Community center also few steps walkable distance and there is giant supermarket. And kiddy palace, best and Bhg many more shops are in Junction 8.

A really convenient, well-populated heartland shopping mall which is connected directly to the MRT station. Five floors of F&B outlets, amenities, fashion, groceries, and even a cinema. There’s two levels of basement carpark as well. Limited slots but there are plenty of options just opposite along other HDB blocks. There’s a BHG Department Store, Best Denki, and FairPrice Finest. Enough to satisfy and fulfill daily needs. Very popular amongst the nearby school students, office workers and residents in the surrounding estates. It’s a good option compared to AMK Hub or NEX which can get super crowded on weekends. Easy to navigate on overall, sufficient signages and washrooms around. Elevator operates pretty fast as well but you can easily get around with the escalator regardless. Great location for friends, families and kids on the weekend with enough resting, coffee and play areas. There’re also a couple of push cart stalls which sells gifts or miscellaneous items at reasonable prices. Some renowned brands and famous destinations include Din Tai Fung, Shake Shack, Ambush Restaurant.

A place that I visit multiple times a week. Has all the basic food and amenities one might need on a day to day basis. Although the mall is rather old and could use some sprucing up, it is all in all a neighborhood mall with just enough variety of food and amenities to satisfy the nearby residency.

Has mostly you need in a day. May it be food for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, even take aways. Most retail shops also sells necessities. Very accesible as MRT and Bus station is located here. Hawker stalls also located besides the mall. Great to pass by time.

Ah, the eighth mall in the junction series - Junction 8. Contrary to its name, it is number 1 in my heart. J8 has been a constant in my life ever since I was a little kid. When I was born, J8 was there. It was there through puberty, adulthood and even my wedding. It even agreed to be my godparent. J8 is not just a shopping mall. It is the place of our gatherings. The place where we obtain sustenance, hydration, and goods & services. I wish nothing but success for J8. May prosperity be with you always.

its where story ends.... a big shopping mall with direct control to two mrt lanes and just besides to a giant bus interchange. very accessible in terms of transport. facilities are not as new as other shopping malls like marina bay but still get a lot of stores and restaurants to enjoy. bishan public library is there, one of the best libraries in singapore, known for its unconventional design and all those sad love stories. many chairs and sofa and tables for students or prople who want to work here. also computers for seniors to read newspaper. many seats are surprisingly with sockets (friendly to laptop users) a good place to visit especially in rainy days but sad to visit because of those sad stories. but this is life

The open concept and the half indoor half outdoor us a really good thing. They have places for you to sit and rest too. Another thing is the beautiful roof garden where kids get to play. There's also schools and food court, cinema and popular so there is something for everyone.

Junction 8 is a popular shopping mall in Bishan, Singapore. It is well-connected to public transportation, being located right outside Bishan MRT station and Bishan Bus Interchange. Pros: Convenient location Wide variety of shops and restaurants Good selection of entertainment options Clean and well-maintained Good value for money Cons: Can be crowded at peak times Some of the shops and restaurants are not very unique Not as many high-end brands as some other malls in Singapore

Over the years, Junction 8 has undergone expansions that have resulted in an increase in the number of retail outlets available. Its connectivity is excellent as it is linked to Bishan MRT and bus interchange. The mall boasts a wide variety of retail and food shops, as well as a Golden Village cinema.

This is my second time coming to Junction 8. Cannot remember when I last visited here could be many many years ago. Surprising, there are so many new shops here that suit my wants esp TRT boutique,, San & San Irola as well Pretty Fit...these are a few boutiques which I often visit to get my outing clothings. The mall is well maintained , clean and neat. I just enjoyed shopping here and will definitely come again before CNY to shop for my clothings and shoes for CNY. There is a very big NTUC at the basement to meetbyour daily essentials. Come and see for yourself.

Very busy mall to go to during lunch time. But that's because it does have a wide selection of food to eat - both in terms of cuisine and price range. Local coffee is available in a few places but hard to get seating in these outlets.

Its the first stop I made on my first ride on the MRT when the MRT service officially operated. Junction 8 - JE has a direct bus svc to my hse and vice versa. There's also a direct train svc from near my hse from Paya Lebar. Im born at Jalan Eunos and staying at Jalan Eunos. Hence the initials JE with Junction 8 is symbolic for me.

I fell a few weeks ago at this mall on a ramp that was unmarked. I suffered slight cuts, bruised knees and broke my phone. Mall management immediately made steps to highlight the ramp and told me they will look into my claim. A few weeks later after I pressed for reply, they just replied and say they are not negligent because I didn't see the ramp. Of course I didn't see the ramp when it was not marked. That's a very responsible reply indeed.

It's a smaller mall but has almost anything you can think of. It gives a friendly walking around the shops there, although it feels slightly old. With the addition of entrance from the MRT station to the B1, it adds to the convenience for people taking the train. The cinema is a bit too small with limited capacity.

My focus is more in Bishan as a property agent as well. My clients like to come here to meet me as well. I recommended them Watami Japanese restaurant. They used to have even better dishes in their menu. They changed abit of their menu though. I like their hotpot especially for their ramen add on.😊

Great place to shop & browse with a wide variety of shops. Some rather specialised shops eg swimwear on level 2, leather goods, baby/children clothes and my fav Korean hairdresser. I visited on a Tuesday during lockdown hence unable to savour a sit down meal but I can recomend a takeout TukTuk tea on level 2. There are two shopping buildings linked so you bound to find what you want.

One of the local malls located right above a MRT station/ short walk from the bus interchange. It's big with many anchor tenants, your popular local retailers, a cinema, banks, and good selection of eateries on B1, L2 and some others in another annex corner... including one of our favourite makan places with vegan options - GreenDot 🌱✌🏼 There's definitely something for everyone in the family at Junction 8... it's one of those family-friendly malls well-managed by CapitaLand.

Very lousy service. Ordered takeaway Tamago Sando and the staff promised to let me know as soon as it was ready. I waited outside at their table immediately after paying but waited for at least 15 mins before I got suspicious and went to check out my order. It was already ready and looked like it was sitting there for at least 10 mins! The restaurant has so many staff (1 guy was constantly looking at me through the glass panel while he was cooking) and none of them had the courtesy to check even though I had informed 2 of them that I was waiting outside the moment I paid up. Very very disappointed with their service. Felt I had wasted my time.

Don’t forget to go there for a look when you go to Bishan!!!

Visited the mall on 6 Nov 2021. Ate lunch at Sakae Sushi - staff service, food quality and quantity are so-so, as a result it is expensive to dine there. Sakae Sushi used to be good but standard and service has dropped drastically! From 40 outlets to 4 outlets now in operations. There are other Japanese food eateries in the same mall that serve value-for-money food.

One of the best heartland malls with a great mix of food and beverage options. The shop mix offers good variety and includes shops like Pet Lovers, NTUC and Sketchers. In addition, this mall has a cinema by Golden Village which is well kept and clean. Overall, Junction 8 allows one to stay in Bishan without the need to travel into town, but if you need to, the Bishan MRT stop is just next door, as good as attached to Junction 8 (which in fact, is linked at Basement 1!).

The main shopping center for Bishan. The center is under Capitaland. So there is free parking for qualifying capitacard members. Their mix of shops is very typical of a suburban mall. Junction 8 (J8) is a place I grew up in. It has many places of food and beverage which are great for family with children. There's many little bakery and snacks shops at B1 for you to choose from. Starbucks and coffee bean (24 hour) are good cafes for one to hang out. The Fair price is consider huge at the basement for grocery shopping. I also enjoy watching movie in the cinema in J8. For shopping, there's sketches, pazzion, jewelry shops and many other apparels. It also has a big Popular store. There's Christofori music school. It's located directly outside Bishan mrt. Last but not least, it's a Capitaland mall. #ILoveJunction8

Recently went for a midnight movie at j8. When the movie ended, after coming out of the cinema, what i saw shock me. They use some kind of canvas to cover the use of the escalator. Isnt that kind of dangerous? If lets say there is fire in the building near mid night, people cant escape from the escalator? And had to use the lift instead?

Busy mall with plenty of restaurants, food outlets, a supermarket, and other retail stores, including a Sketchers, fashion shops, jewellery stores, and more. So it serves a wide range of needs. Only rated it one star down as it gets very busy during peak hours (lunch, dinner) so you really need to be prepared for the crowd.

Bishan is going to have new HDB soon and we can see population will increase. However this Junction 8 capacity is obviously not enough so always crowded ridiculously. Additionally toilet is always dirty and messy. Seriously need renovation.

It's a nice place to relax and chill. Got a lot of coffee shops and restaurants to eat, you can go shopping, watch movies and to your personal stuff..

Nice shopping mall, huge. A little old though. A lot of shops like restaurants, cinemas, food court and so on.
