This place has the nostalgia feeling. Mainly old shops. The book shop is there for 30 over years..

Important: A lot of these silly people mistake beauty world centre for beauty world plaza. This is obvious in the reviews as beauty world plaza does not have May's cafe or any eatery. Overall it's not even a mall. It should be torn down and destroyed. A newer mall or condo should take its place.

Very old shopping complex, has hawker stores in the top floor.

The food centre at the top is really the highlight of the place. Used to be primary old school Hawker food but recently had some infusion of new young hawkers.

Old plaza / mall, near beauty world mrt station. But it is equipped with a small giant supermarket that runs 24 hours. Unfortunately there are only 3 visible eatery / coffee shops here. So when it is crowded in the eatery, you might want to go somewhere else after you visit giant and other stores.

Just visited the Beauty World Hawker Centre and surprised to see some new stalls appearing. A little disappointed to see Hambaobao gone and they served one of the best crackling pork belly around. Those good old favorites are still around - satay bee hoon, soya sauce chicken, char kuay teow, hand made noodles, chinese dumplings etc.

Love the food at the hawker centre. The Japanese ramen and curry rice is good, so is the western food, the char kuey tiao, the chicken noodle are all very delicious. At the front drink stall, the beer sold is really very cold.

The foodcourt as usual is dirty however there are a few new outlet . I think cater for lunchtime crowd . Dinner is depressing. Also not enough carpark . Make sure you don't go there on a weekend no carpark . Better rename it as Beauty World Tution Centre

10/20 years behind time but it still has its charm.Time appears to be in a standstill yet it dtill has its attractiveness. However, the 5 th floor food centre is so good and cheap that it is still worth a visit or two.

For most of us who were born before 90s, this is a retro regular hangout place for a lot of us and also for students of Ngee Ann Polytechnic (where I wad a student as well). While this area is most popular for maids employment companies these days, this place has many hidden gems for food, cafes and kitchenware/hardwares. I hope this place get some decent investments for face-lift or overhaul given its location.

Now with the current covid situation. Many shops closed down. Main highlight is the food at roof top area, macd and Giant. Parent used to bring me here many times when I was a kindergarten kid in the 90s. As that time don't have lot1 and west mall. Followed by going to Bukit Timah Shopping centre to look at the pet shop which is long gone, selling wide variety of animals such as furry animals and exotic sea fishes such as octopus, sea urchins and clown fish.
