As with this Hainan Fen $5 but extremely fragrant. I’d recommend . At the end of the meal, I thought to myself that perhaps the west side of Singapore is a wonderful place to be as well. I would encourage all you westies to climb out of bed earlier to try this! It’s really a next-level kind.

There are 2 coffee shops in blk 257. This review is for the one also known as Al Medina coffee shop. Besides Al Medina, which serves good Murtabak and Mee Goreng, the coffee shop also has a great Malay stall and excellent Zichar stall. I really enjoy the Mee Rebus and Mee Soto from the Malay stall. The Zichar has very good noodles, the hor fun has good wok hei. Their venison hot plate and prawn paste chicken are great too! Recently, the popular duck rice/noodles store from a nearby coffee shop relocated here, which added a whole lot more to the hustle and bustle of the coffee shop.

2 coffee shops next to each other... this stall 好友记is supposed to serve charcoal grilled meat but cannot taste the smokey barbecue flavour. Duck meat is cold and a bit tough. The sauce is too sweet. the soup is at least warm and taste good.

Salaam. To be exact, there is 2 coffee house, side by side. Look like a stiff competition. But it's nothing like that. Both have regulars. Every individual have different taste bud. So, it's open options. A healthy competition I would say.

The malay stall serves a whole lot of local malay dishes eg. lontong, mee rebus, mee siam, mee soto, nasi sambal goreng, nasi lemak, etc. ALL the food are delicious!!! They open early, i think 7am (or earlier) but the food finish quite fast (sometimes before 12 noon). Closed on every Monday. There will always be a long queue (shows how good the food is). If you are around Bt Panjang (Bangkit Road area) in the morning, go and try out the food.

Small Kopitiam with man varieties The duck rice is quite disappointing. Fried oyster is thin and crispy. Very unique. The car park infront has limited lot.

The 257 kopishop has 2 very good food store...the ZhengWei Duck Rice is back in business that served wonderful duck noodles in morning to afternoon. The other is the Zi Chao Store that operates in evening time. The taste is consider above average

I was at nearby Petir Road and wanted to get lunch. I found the coffeeshop at Blk 257 Bangkit Road which had 2 coffeeshops side by side. Queued for the malay food. I chose little rice, sambal goreng, bergerdal, telur dada and ayam masa merah ( 1 pc chicken wing) which cost me $8.00 which is a ridiculous price for the food. The food is expensive and tasteless...my 4 dishes each cost more than $1.80 which is a daylight robbery. Yes, i understand food is getting expensive nowadays but not to this extend. Will never go back there nor recommend that shop to any of my friends and family. Food not worth for the amount charged...

Newly renovated. Clean, brightly lit and spacious. New stalls offering basics at reasonable prices and slightly pricey value for money variations.

The famous duck rice/noodles/kway tiao stall is back at this coffee shop. Expect waiting time of at least 20 mins during week days!

The food especially from the L&M stall is worth visiting. In the heartland of Bukit Panjang it's an unexpected place to get one of the best Horfun in Singapore. The black pepper beef Horfun is well balanced with its sweetness, tangy and spiciness. There is not much to critique. The portion is generous. The atmosphere is similar to any heartland "coffee" shop, with the usual uncles having their drinks and chit chat. The place has recently been revamped too. There are many other halal options to choose from the menu. A highly recommended place to have a simple yet does not break the bank meal.

👍 The coffee shop was newly renovated. Used to be old and unwelcoming. Now it felt entirely different, clean and bright, with many new stalls and seats added which draw crowds from the other hawkers nearby. Keep the momentum going!

👍👍 Always a favourite with the kids since they were 4 years old cos of the variety of vegetables and thinly sliced meats thats easy for the kiddos. Not to forget the udon and egg noodles.
