The food was pretty good, was happily surprised by the ragu pasta that had the right level of cooking (quite rare in Singapore). My friend thought the place was a bit noisy, service was ok overall. Quite expensive if you are really hungry but hey it's Singapore and the quality is there.

A friend told me there is a beautiful, clam, peaceful and lively place in Singapore called Dempsey Hills. Got a chance to visit today, such a superb life place and liked it a lot. Filled with greenery, calm and peaceful place with lot of eateries of different cuisines and drinks. Night view of most eateries is too good with lights. We thought it’s a less known place, however, to our surprise the restaurant where we had dinner was full and many people returned due to no seats available. Must visit place for all. It is not far off from Dhoby Ghat MRT.

We came here for the first time as it is a cars&coffee place. We had a nice coffee, looked at a lot of cool cars and also chatted with the car owners. It was a Beautiful and peaceful place with many trees (like botanical gardens), restaurants and cafes

Had delicious seafoods & chinese food here (Jumbo Seafood resto). Service was great, they also provided the thing to crack the crabs (*idk the name), disposable plastic bibs, napkins, wet tissues, some plastic gloves & mini buckets to dispose the shells. Definitely would like to go back.

Lovely place with bustling night life! You are challenged to "hike" a mini hill/slope to get to the top, where most of the restaurants are. Many restaurants offer good drinks and alcohols. But be prepared to burn a big hole in your pockets, as everything on the menus in each restaurant is not cheap here. Not very accessible if you come by public transport, although there is a bus stop at the bottom of the "hill". A nice place for catch-up over drinks, especially after work at night! PS: we came via 174 from Farrer Road MRT (circle line). Or you can take a bus from Holland V MRT or Queenstown MRT.

Huber's steakhouse is the best. Go to dempsey hill and enjoy night walks. Accessible to bus. Super easy to get there.

An upblass area with choice of many restaurants. If u are not driving, nearest MRT Stn is Napier. Then take 7, 75, 77, 105, 106, 123 or 174 & alight 2 bus stops later. Grab of Taxi wil b better if you are having some alcohol.

This hill has a lot of food and beverage options. However, the only aspect I do not like is the fact that the closest bus stop is 10-12 mins walk away. It is quite inconvenient for possibly the older/handicapped people to dine at. Maybe they can have several different bus shuttle stops to help out with this?

Dempsey Hill is a place of elegance. You'll be able to find here different restaurants and cafes. What I love the most about this place is ambience. After eating in a beautiful restaurant, you can sip a coffee in one of the coffee shop here and just relax and stare at the place beauty.

Definitely is a place to visit. A former army HQ with building in colonial design spread across the place. Many foods, Mexico, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Indian, French etc. Parking and getting a seat might be difficult if go after 7pm to 8pm especially on Friday and Saturday night. Many popular restaurant would have been pre-booked. So if you are planning to go and not be disappointed, book in advance. There is also an ice cream museum πŸ˜‹.

Many restaurants of all nationalities, including fine dining. Also many antique shops. Free parking. Used to be barracks and low office buildings of the British military. Singapore Armed Forces took over and used it as a Central Manpower Base where young men came to register and report for medical examinations and enlistment into National Service. My office used to be in a building now serving Spanish cuisines.

everything I've been there I have disliked the area more. the service anywhere here is at best average, food so-so and often they don't have half the dishes on the menu for the evenings...sorry but poor value for your money.

Eclectic place full of food choices in this area. You can find some services in the area but mostly restaurants and a couple of markets with high end produce. Weekends will be extremely crowded and parking will be an issue. Visit on a weekday morning or after lunch if you prefer a quieter ambience or don't, in which you can expect a more vibrant crowd including lots of honking expressing love for each other.

Awesome place for cars & Kopi meet, glad to always meet my usual buds and fellow car enthusiasts 😁 and of course hello morning coffee

Parking is almost hell if you come during happy hours. So ideally, make reservations first at your restaurant or bar first and head there early. Motorcycle parking is scarce, but few motorcycles park there anyway. Highly recommend SPRMRKT and HUBERS for their food.
