Location wise DFS is nice. But the staff who's name is Erick Toh, has no etiquette on just getting the bottle of wine while I was in front of it without saying any excuse. I am a bit disappointed to that. I know this is just a minor problem, bur if he will repeat it on other customers you will surely get a lot of complaints. Maybe he needs more training on customer service.

It's basic in terms of offerings, where you can get duty free alcohol on your way out of the country. Selections are pretty wide, and prices are always much more reasonable than in-country or at resorts. I'll strongly recommend you get some on the way out, after you cross customs.

Do take note that you can only get alcohol if you're outside of the country for more than 48 hours. Or else, you're not eligible for duty free allowance at all. The store at tanah merah ferry terminal is sufficiently stocked with the right amounts of wines and spirits, and well, prices at dfs is always better than out there.
