The old school shopping mall is like the mecca for aunties. I bet 99% of the stalls sell woman clothes or offer female related services. There are some eateries, including the food court at the top level and the famous Arnold’s fried chicken.

There are many clothing retails shops that supply stocks to blogshop and clothing stores. Seems like they do retail as well as wholesale trade. However, need to comb through each store in order to find good items. Its better to visit between Monday to Friday between 11am to 6pm because most stores close early. worth visiting if you are around the area

Date of visit : Sundays This is a popular place for Indonesians on a Sunday, remittances services especially. Many wholesale clothing shops, with most closed on Sundays. Some shops let you try on, but others there is no trying of clothes. Service is usually courteous and professional. Some eateries here and a 5th level small food court.

Shabby looking building with the local best fried chicken restaurant located inside. Cheap clothes and shoes, quite off season tho. Very little crowd all times. (Recommend D&C outlet small store, carry tons of $10-$19 female footwear.) Strong aircon, pretty decent spacing. Railings not well maintained.

I love shopping at the mall! The variety of stores and the great deals they offer are unbeatable. I can always find what I'm looking for, and the staff is always so friendly and helpful. The mall is always clean and brightly lit, and there's always something going on. I never get bored when I'm there.

A place for wholesale apparels, individual can also find bargains there. However, about a quarter of empty shops. The fish soup on the ground floor #01-48 City Star Snack Corner has very fresh fish, has been around for a few years

City Plaza is a bustling shopping center that offers a diverse selection of stores and eateries. The variety of affordable fashion finds and unique retail options make it a go-to place for budget shopping. Despite its compact size, the layout is well-organized and easy to navigate. The food court boasts a range of delicious local and international cuisines. However, the parking situation can be a bit challenging during peak hours. A recommended spot for those looking for great bargains and a taste of local shopping culture!

Old school mall. each store is unique, unlike new malls with the same 10 stores again and again. found lots of clothes, seems to cater more towards older people but there are occasional good finds for younger people too. Might be worth a quick visit if you are in the area.

Visit this mall after 8 pm for dinner. The mall still have that old charm for most people as it has been around for a long time. The place is deserted at night. Most shop are already closed. There are nothing much to comment about it, at the point of my visit, as there are nothing of note. The place is lively at the eateries outside the mall. The place was crowded with diners.

Went to my favourite Arnold Chicken with some aunties and happy that really love the half spring chicken set. Frankly they coded the skin with flour just well until the so called famous brand that is not only getting very ecpensive but coded a thick layer of flour to be crispy and you are paying for such a scam??? Arnold chicken you can please come try yourself- chewy and even breast meat is not hard. Tested by these aunties i bought who usually will not have breast meat. If you have 3 girls i think i whole spring chicken or 2 half should be enough. We have one half ourselves really too full ;)

Most convenient place to buy new, second and cheap phones but most of all: TPG simcards at ridiculous rate compared to many other service providers with their own infrastructure. Senior citizens no contract plans at $5 for 20GB and 300 min calls. See photo. And prepaid at $10 for 20GB.

An old school shopping that has seen better days previously in history. An iconic landmark in Paya Lebar Central. You can find wholesale clothing shops and foot wear shops. Interesting to come across shops that sells mahjong sets as well. Mobile phone accessories is a common sign on level 1. There is a small foodcourt on lvl 5 that serves a famous mee hoon kueh(a local noodle soup dish). Car parking facilities is conveniently located within the building. Ladies, if you are looking for a good bargain for clothings, ladies should not miss out on this mall.

Another place that I have not been for a very long time. City Plaza now on weekends are filled and literally I'm saying, filled with domestic helpers taking their day off and congregating with other fellow maids, sitting down on the floors and having a picnic inside the Mall. Just sharing my observations.

Mr mobile, honest and proficient phone repair service. The Bangla satay stall next to Abbas restaurant served well charcoal fired meat skewers. Probably the best in Singapore, beating those at east coast park and other tourist traps eateries.

First visit ever to ths place. Though ths is one of the older malls around ths area, the friendly people manning the many shops more thn make up for visiting it. Goods range frm affordable pantry goods, to apparels, makan & remittance companies. Importantly for me, a v wheelchair-friendly place. Best!

Cheap shopping places and cheap food are very suitable for FDW, but when Sundays are too crowded. Beef ball soup (Bakso beranak) at level 5, many Indonesia FDW looking for it Can be reached easily using public transportation close to Paya Lebar MRT, bus stop

It seems to be a very old mall, same feeling as beauty world at the end of Bukit Timah . I guess shops have been there forever, with some reasonable rent. It's good, because low rent allow a lot of traditional hawkers or restaurants to survive. Location is in front of newer mall Kinex , with more upscale shops. I can't really comment on the shops inside city plaza, as I tried only 4 of them : the Muslim hawker on the outskirts of the mall, Mr Mobile, a small grocery shop with a friendly boss, and a not so cutting edge (but friendly) hairdresser shop. But the overall feeling is a kind of sleepiness, low key management....frankly speaking, not the kind of place I would travel to, if not for Mr Mobile repair shop.

I come here either for Arnold's Chicken, or the Mee Hoon Kueh stall on the 4th floor food court (if it's still around). Other than that, there are many shops selling clothes.

I know this Mall - City Plaza since my teen days. I still like going there sometimes . But many store closes and new store opens. Just see what you want actually. For me, I go there for massage, hp accessories, clothing or buy snacks.

The significance marking of a shopping mall, probably not only the cleanliness of the main shopping area, but also its smell of the public toilet area! City Plaza is definitely be one of the excellent in this area. The walking from customer check point is pretty easy. However, if you are calling a grab car, it may take long waiting for it to reach the main pickup lobby as it’s is ALWAYS jammed due to its massive road work nearby. The entrance of motorbike parking is easy as well. My Singapore registered bike has no worry for the security as there is always a security guard standby at bike area. By using a bike cover and tips of 10 ringgits for the guard may play a good way to him to pay more attention when parking. The Ding Tai Fong Restarant is cheaper than Singapore. Good mall with F&B and massage outlet as well.

Somehow, I just Don’t understand with the management of this mall. No Professional/PROPER action for maintaining the AirConditioner within the mall, as a customer, it’s really disappointed. I just went there today. I couldn't feel the cool air, not even Sunday with peak crowd nor the ordinary days(weekday). This thing has happened for many many days(especially on 1st floor)

The counter staff were very polite and professional. My phone was thoroughly examined for potential issues before and after the battery replacement job. The replacement was done quite expeditiously too. However the performance of the new battery for my 3-year-old Samsung S20 was not much better than the old one. The counter staff had warned me about this so i accepted this consequence. I just wish Mister Mobile can offer better quality batteries.

I was here for mister mobile, just to trade in and buy new phone. It was very ulu type of plaza and most of the shops sells clothes, shoes, luggage and accessories. There's several phone shops but limited to 1st floor. There's food court, restaurant as well but it's a bit secluded and you need to explore before you can find it 😂. Overall the aircon not bad, considering how inconvenient to reach this place, no shelter and you will be under the sun from paya lebar MRT around 5mins walk, surely will sweat profusely 😂 recommended for whoever just want to buy wholesale clothes or shoes.

Very sad to see the place has changed . More shop sell wholesale. Customers not allowvto try on sales items . Who want to risk to buy item cannot try on . Better buy online no need to carry back home.
