Simply the best airport shopping center in the world. Visited in May 2022, the mall was flooded with locals as well as international visitors. Worth to mention that the price in the food court is exactly the same as all other food courts outside the airport, no airport surcharge at all. From my point of view, this fascinating mall has eliminated Covid!

This is by far the best and most impressive shopping mall I have ever seen. The building itself and the waterfall are simply amazing. You can just walk along the waterfall and enjoy the scenery. The restrooms are surprisingly very luxurious and clean despite how many visitors they have in this mall.

Nice place to hangout. We have visited the place in Christmas. Main attraction point is Waterfall surrounded by beautiful garden. There are many more attraction points such as Canopy park, canopy bridge, sky nets walking, hedge maze, mirror maze, Foggy bowls, etc.

Spectacular architectural emblem of Singapore. The number one Airport indeed, in the world! With its futuristic design and amenities, you’ll surely be in awe of how amazing this place is. It’s quite comprehensive, you’ve got everything that you need here if you’re in transit. Comes with many food establishments, tech shops, clothing, and among others. Very clean and well-maintained. The airport also uses high-technology, so it operates very efficiently.

The Jewel is a huge luxury mall at T2 full of shopping food and so much more! I had it all to myself before 8 am. It’s the best! Keep an eye out for promos & happy hours throughout the week. You can find rental bikes with a bike path, fitness gym and shower, a blockbuster IMAX theater and a pool bar! There are luggage services and even free power banks for rent! It seems they’ve thought everything to make your transit comfortable. In the summer you can register for group fitness classes at the waterfall. The Jewel waterfall- the largest indoor waterfall is even more enchanting in person. But BEWARE OF THE ACTIVE HOURS Monday to Thursday: 11 AM to 10 PM Friday to Sunday and Public Holidays: 10 AM to 10 PM I recommend seeing it from different angles. Especially the base at level b2. It’s really cool. Also at that level are a nice supermarket and 7 eleven night.

Changi Airport is without a doubt one of the best airports in the world. It's large, but clean. There is a lot of flora and fauna inside the airport. The public restrooms are very clean and pleasant. And there are water fountains next to every restroom. There are free shuttles between the different terminals and even a train. They have automated immigration during departure, which makes the process of getting through the airport simpler. There's a lot of seating spaces, both inside and outside the security gates. The staff are efficient. And obviously, best of all, is their waterfall in terminal 1. That one (and terminal 1) is one worth experiencing. All in all, fantastic airport 👍

Jewel includes gardens, attractions, a hotel, about 300 retail and dining outlets, as well as early baggage check-in aviation facilities. It covers a total gross floor area of 135,700 m2 (1,461,000 sq ft), spanning 10 storeys – five above-ground and five basement levels. Its attractions include the Shiseido Forest Valley, an indoor garden spanning five storeys, and the Canopy Park at the topmost level, featuring gardens and leisure facilities.

Oh my goodness!!!! The best airport I've ever seen! Quiet, quick, efficient, very clean, new, and best of all it was right next to the Jewel rain vortex surrounded by trees, shops, restaurants and a beautiful mall, not to mention the garden at the top, and attractions for kids! This place was amazing, I'll definitely be back for longer next time. It was not cheap though, but worth it.

Quite a surreal experience to see the waterfall inside this giant green house. It is a toddler’s favorite especially when the train runs through adjacent to the waterfall. Tip: Be “door busters” in the morning to avoid the crowd. It is a very a popular destination for visitors and families.

AMAZING!! This is such a great place to visit. Note, that you need to go through immigration, so it may not be advisable for transiting passengers with limited time. The waterfall is mind-blowing! Just loved it from every angle. There are so many restaurants and shops surrounding this central feature. One could happily spend hours wandering around.

It's always refreshing to walk around Jewel every time when I am free and when I need to wind down from a hectic week or day. You'll never experience how rejuvenated you can be till you personally experience it yourself one day.

Jewel Changi Airport captivates with its stunning architecture and a myriad of attractions. The lush indoor waterfall and the mesmerizing light show create a truly unique and pleasant ambiance. It seamlessly blends shopping, dining, and entertainment, making it more than just an airport. A solid 10/10 for its beauty and cool features, enhancing the overall travel experience.

Such a cool experience in the airport that helps pass the time. Highly recommend coming to see the light show. It was quite easy to find as most people were headed this way. There's also music that plays with the show, so just follow the music! If you miss it, I believe they redo the show pretty consistently. Also recommend checking out the theaters as well--a good way to spend a layover. They have pretty recent movies and consistent show times. Note: Visited prior to COVID, so things may be different.

Amazing place. Everytime I come here I feel like I've been transported into a new world. The jewel has every type of food and drink that you can imagine. It has a bunch of cool and fun activities to do on the top floor and the entire facility is a must see if you are visiting Singapore.

Something for everyone especially so good for kids! There is a hotel in the mall which is quite small but a perfect place to stay when it’s a short layover. Lots of activities for kids and shopping, spa and eateries. The airport always feels so crowded so booking the hotel here felt was a great idea. The waterfall and the show was mesmerizing and also very relaxing.

What an amazing place to start and finish a holiday. To watch the light show by the water feature, the music and the colour changes. Plenty if seats to sit and look around or to walk around the different levels, and if brave enough walk along the glass bottom bridge!

Finally visited the famous waterfall in Jewel. Indeed very beautiful, and we arrived when there was a light show. You can check the light show schedule in advance to have this experience. It was crowded but not too full. My mom still got to sit at the bench and enjoy the show comfortably.

Quick connections between the various terminals. Beautiful orchid displays in T2. An excellent variety of shops and food options. Outdoor gardens are awesome to give you a break from inside the airport building during a long layover.

Beautiful shopping mall. In my view one of the best designed mall in the world. This place is full of eateries, restaurants, shops and activities for kids. It’s flagship waterfall which costed a fortune is breathtaking. You can sit around the waterfall and relax. Several activities for kids and adults in this shopping mall.

Awful. You have to go 2 levels up and then walk along endless skywalks to T2 to get the mrt. After a flight you don’t want to have to walk miles with your luggage through a jam packed mall to figure out where to go. No signs. Concierge useless, they just tell you to “ walk straight and use the lift” without any further details.

Always excited to be here! How awesome it is to have a lot of things to do and places to visit just inside an airport🤩👌 Best part for me is the calming view of the huge rain vortex, can just sit around and be mesmerised by it. The surrounding area have very attractive landscapes featuring the national flower (orchid). Try to visit at night for a more stunning view.

The foliage surrounding the rain vortex is aesthetically pleasing, and together with the waterfall, it’s a magnificent display. It was nice to just walk around the mall and take in the view. My family and I didn’t partake in the paid areas, although the canopy bridge looked quite cool. Do note that the air-conditioning is a little chilly, so you may want to wear some long sleeves or bring a light jacket.

A great place to Eat, Shop or Play in Jewel Mega Mall. One could practically spend his time here for weeks which also includes a Hotel within. You get 5 levels of parking in the basement and countless shops ad F&B all house within! Everything one could find anywhere in Singapore could be found here! You could find Fast Food shops, Hi-End Restaurants ranging from Japanese, Chinese, Western and Mediterranean restaurants here! Clothing stalls naming most of the big names and even Apple Stalls are all here! There is even playground for all ages on the top level that also house some beer gardens and Bistros! Not a place to be missed for all tourists and locals alike to spend a great time here!

Pros: - Free butterfly park to unwind after a long flight. - Jewel waterfall - Connected to mall Cons: - Far distance between terminals - Jewel is quite a walk away - Sim card packages near entrance of airport is ridiculously expensive, rather go one floor above and buy cheaper deals.

Definitely a very beautiful airport and so has been mentioned as the best airport and has won numerous awards for the same. This airport has got a lots of amenities a very great signage. All the signs are in proper place so that no one is lost at any time. Although with all the good things that are present, I will highlight the things I found missing .The area at the check-in counters where the sitting arrangement is there, do not have any charging ports so that needs to be worked upon. The security happens just before the boarding gate and at the time of the boarding. It takes a lot of time as a lot of people are there standing in the queue at the same time, unlike other airports, where people do the security check, and then patiently wait for the boarding to start.

Jewel at Changing Airport is one of the attractions within the airport is a must visit place. Ensure you visit here. The waterfall is amazing. There is entry fee for this attraction however, there are other attractions which are charged. The waterfall here is worlds tallest indoor waterfall. Other attractions are Canopy park, bouncing net, Mirror maze, Hedge maze and many more. Jewel is well connected from the terminals and T1 is the nearest, 5-10 walk from T2 & T3 and a bit far from T4. Overall the experience is good at Jewel and you can shop here as well.

By far the most beautiful and modern airport in the world. It is a tourist attraction of Singapore in itself. I recommend that you arrive at the airport 6 hours before the flight and visit all parts in detail, take a ride on the "sky train" and see the beautiful waterfall and the botanical garden around it. Be sure to go down two stories below the waterfall, the glass dome into which the water pours is as beautiful as the waterfall itself.

This airport is the best airport I’ve ever been to. It has everything. It’s like an amusement park, shopping mall, and restaurant food court rolled into an airport. Well appointed design and layout makes it very easy to navigate. The Jewel is landslide so make sure to get to the airport extra early to enjoy all the amenities. Give yourself an extra 2-3 hours on top of the normal time you give yourself to clear security and to get airside and gates. Such a beautiful airport.

The waterfall is exceptional. I went around the whole shopping mall and the variety of shops is great, including huge flagship stores and restaurants of different cuisines. It has clear instructions on where to go to different terminals. I went to the garden area at the top, which is definitely great for kids. I went there alone, the Avengers theme exhibition is an unexpected highlight in the garden, and it offers a different view to the rain vortex.

Must visit here if you are in Singapore. Good to see waterfall during the day time but I recommend you to go night time. And there is a lighting show at 8pm and 9pm everyday. On the top of the shopping mall, there is the canopy that your kids can play. It is nice place for all generation to enjoy.

If you are lover of architecture or nature or shopping you don't need to go anywhere else but to come here and to enjoy all of them in one place. It's a cross between the "Flower Dome" and the "Cloud Forest" at Gardens by the bay with a high-end shopping mall attached. The architecture is something to be behold of inside and outside. The huge trees planted inside the dome looks like they were there forever. The waterfall in the middle is just out of this world.

This is a massive shopping mall that is connected to Changi Airport. It’s sandwiches between terminal 1 and terminal 2 and 3. It’s easy to get to walking or via the sky train if you are in one of those terminals. Passengers in the newer Terminal 4 can take a bus over. The Jewel is landslide, so it’s located outside of security. That means anyone can visit the Jewel, no boarding pass required. The center of the Jewel is the HSBC vortex waterfall and it’s the largest indoor waterfall in the world. It’s really stunning to see in person and they have and amazing light shows that beginning at 7:30pm and runs every every hour. If you are inside security and want to see the Vortex, you can take the Skytrain and it will cross it as it goes from terminal 2 to 1. The mall is filled with international stores and tons of eateries. There’s lots of attractions that’s fun for kids and a adults alike, but many are paid and not cheap. We spent almost a day here and it was more than enough time to see everything but not enough to try all the great food. I will definitely be coming back.

  • 5/5 Joshua & D. 4 years ago on Google
Absolutely stunning and fun! Even though you have to leave the airport and clear customs (Jewel is literally accessible via the airport but it’s more like a mall). A lot of restaurants and shopping are available. If Singapore is a layover for you, please note if your connecting flight departs less than 5 hours from landing, Manila customs won’t let you leave the airport. This is an absolute must if you can swing it ??

The most enjoyable and emotional experience I had at Changi Airport was visiting Jewel Terminal 1. It’s a multi-billion development featuring attractions, retail space, eateries targeting transiting passengers and being there at night was simply magical watching the man made waterfall from the centre ceiling pour down illuminated by lights synchronized to orchestral music. It really was awe-inspiring and emotional witnessing this man made wonder. I’m not fussed about the retail stores and the eateries are like food hall places but the waterfall was captivating and is forever etched in my mind. Highly recommended!

(Translated by Google) Jewel is not as impressive as it seemed on everything I read about it before we visited the mall. It's big and it has the impressive water show in the middle, but the shops are the usual ones with a few exceptions. If you are at the airport and have a few hours to spare, then it is a natural visit.

Brilliant food and service. staff is very friendly and welcoming. food came promptly and my friend and I didn't have to wait long. Overall, service and food is very good :) and I would definitely come back for more! There was one particular staff (which I believe was an Indian gentleman) that was extremely kind and friendly around us and despite the time being rather late, his energy was still very dedicated and enthusiastic:). He definitely helped enhanced my dining experience.

Interesting place. Worth a visit for the many photo and shopping opportunities. Travellers to Singapore definitely have to plan half a day just to roam around. The layout isn’t the best, as some higher floors are sectioned off rather than connected through. With COVID19 still making its presence felt, there’s hardly any crowd during the weekdays and many shops were empty. It is a sad sight but hopefully things will begin to het better soon.

Jewel is the place to go if you want to enjoy shopping and spend time with your loved ones in a natural setting(though man made). The fountain is the highlight here, very beautiful and lots of Instagram spots ;) But be mindful of the crowd, whatever the time it is a crowded place. The food and shopping choices are excellent, be ready to spend a whole day here

  • 5/5 SQ 3 years ago on Google
A short walk from the MRT. You can easily spend the whole day at Jewel. There's a wide variety of restaurants, apparals, confectionery etc. 7 floors (?) in total, very tiring after you walk around the whole mall. Luckily there's a lot of seats near the waterfall aka rain vortex. There's also fun and games like the canopy Park where you can easily spend an 1hr there.

One of the most spectacular airports I have ever seen.. Better than most of the other airports in the world.. I have the travelled the world a lot but have never come across something so beautifully and aesthetically done.. Its just amazingly awesome.. I just love the plants there.. How beautifully arranged they are.. They are a real treat to the eyes.. The entire concept of jewel is marvellous.. I can vouch that there is no such thing in the world that can compete with it.. I just love it more.. Every single time I visit it!! ❤️🤗

Lovely place for a relaxing time to sit around, chat, and people watch. Really man funny and interesting people to watch sometimes - girls taking ootd, couples taking selfies in their own world, foreigners facetiming their relatives with their wireless headphones and the waterfall in the backdrop, children running up and down while parents panic. Can be cold at times depending on where you sit at the fountain (hint: aircon vents are at your legs). Downside is the poor distribution of lights, which can be annoying sometimes depending on where you sit. Also, the placement of trees that can suddenly block your view of the waterfall. The sound of the waterfall is therapeutic at first, but after listening to it for an hour or so, you should try to walk down to the basement and let the water sounds slowly fade. You’d suddenly be amazing appreciative of quietness and peace. Overall, Jewel is a nice place to go to. Toilets are on my favorites and a “must drop by” when visiting this place. Other pit stops would be birds of paradise (ice cream) and Arabica (coffee).

Retail therapy and restaurants through levels 1-4, and level 5 is dedicated to beautiful gardens and bars for those who desire to drink in lush viridian surroundings. The waterfall takes centre stage at Jewel Changi with light and music show.

It's a huge mall of sort and one of the main attraction is definitely the waterfall and indoor garden concept. I am not a big fan of the manmade gardens etc but got to say this waterfall is pretty spectacular. The mall has more of food, plenty of food options.. definitely more than shopping. Its a huge and spacious mall as well, very comfortable to just roam around in. The toilet is super clean and posh, has a vanity area with high stools in the female toilet. There are some pretty interesting, non-tacky Singapore souvenirs shops, even for a local like me!

Amazing shopping mall, maybe due for the pandemic, less people traveling in and out of Singapore, less customer at The Jewel compare to summer 2019, but the mall itself is well managed with decent selections of shops and food service.

MUST VISIT! BOTH IN DAY TIME AND NIGHT TIME! No matter how many times I've visited Jewel and the waterfall, I'm still overwhelmed and speechless. It's incredibly beautiful. You can spend all day in Jewel itself. Many shops and eateries, the canopy park. For the waterfall, spend at least 2 hours here. I recommend to visit it at 6pm, you can enjoy both daytime view and the gorgeous light at night time. Most shops close after 10pm, the waterfall opens 24 hrs but shut down the light and water after 10pm.

A true means of perfection word. Very obvious it was planned & built for perfection. The mall is well-design, looks luxury but suits for everyone. And the main star is of course, the Jewel waterfall which is beautiful. It looks very lovely from all of the angles there.

Huge shopping complex, just located next to Changi International Airport. It is connected to the airport which actually attracts plenty of tourist from around the world. Consist of several floors (if not mistaken 5 floors) and you can take the escalators that is located around the mall to move around each floor. There are several elevators as well but mostly occupied. There is plenty of stores here selling all kind of items such as clothes, house items, electrical appliance, IT gadgets, etc. Many branded stores could be found here. Plenty of restaurants available here, mainly located at lower ground and top floor of the mall. You can find most cuisine here such as local food, Chinese food, Indian food, Japanese food, Korean food, Western food, etc. There are several cafes as well, offering delicious desserts and coffee. There is a supermarket at lower ground that offers great deals of daily items and groceries. You can find most of your needs here. There is a cinema as well in this shopping mall. Besides the shopping stores & restaurants located inside this complex, the Vortex that is located at the middle of the mall is one of the main attractions of this place. There are several places at the top floor that offers activities within the mall which will cost you slightly. Overall, this shopping mall including the toilets are clean, well maintained and organized. This mall provides free WiFi, which is very convenient for tourist. The staffs working here is friendly and helpful.

It's the best Airport I have come across. Stunning decoration and well managed. The waterfall doesn't run for 24 hours. The timing is from 10 Am to 11 PM. If you are planning to visit accordingly. MRT is connected with this airport. So transportation is very convenient.

  • 5/5 PANKAJ K. 9 months ago on Google
It's same as its name says - Jewel. Its near Terminal 1 (T1). This waterfall is very beautiful and you will completely forget that you are at an airport. It has a whole forest thing around it which makes and gives it a total nature indulging vibe. Just adjacent to it a mall is there with lot of buying options and food courts. You should never miss the chance to see this beautiful fall ❤️. There are few activities which you can do and enjoy but need to pay for it. I didn't had time left so didn't went for it. NOTE: Reach early like around 3 hours before departure time so that you can enjoy the beauty of it and take lot of good photos and videos around and of it. 1 hours is enough around it. If you need to play or do activities then you need 2 hours around this one.

Comfortable but a bit pricey area. All premium and authentic shops. There is a canopy bridge that is as high as the waterfall. It was a bit scary for me as I have a fear of heights. There was also artificial fog/smoke. Unfortunately for me, I missed it

So by the standards of Singapore, the JEWEL @ Changi is mostly just another [very well finished] mall, that happens to have a giant (and admittedly very cool hole in it...) However, JEWEL is unique as an airport terminal, mall with food, drink, and luxury brands and a gigantic hole in it with a huge waterfall ⛲️ 💧 🚿

I had a fantastic experience at this airport! It's not just a nice airport, but arguably the most convenient one globally. I breezed through immigration in under 6 hours using the efficient automatic gates (available for select countries). Booking a Grab to explore the main attractions was a seamless process, and returning to the airport was equally convenient through the automatic gate. The airport offers a plethora of attractions and places to explore, making it a top choice for a hassle-free travel experience.

Oh what a fun-filled evening we enjoyed at the Jewel. We specifically set out to delight ourselves which was indeed successful. We were received by a tall Christmas tree. We wandered around the stores. We booked tickets for the mirror maze, the hedge maze, was enchanted by the waterfall, and clicked pics at all the beautiful spots. The dazzling lights added to the glory, there was a light show on the waterfall which was beautiful. The kids played on the ramps. We had some exclusive photos clicked by the waterfall too.

Really amazing airport! We stayed at the airport for about 4-5 hours just walking around and looking at the many shops they had! The vortex was super duper cool! Every floor had access to the forest and vortex so we could get many different views. We could also take the terminal train from terminal 2 to 3 - that allowed us to go through the forest and see the vortex in an even closer light. Super worth the visit! Enjoy! :)
