The food is really worth the price that is payed. The brilliant choices on the menu totally want you to give the place a second chance. The concept is amazing too, brining in veganism to the world. Plus, the service was quick too. As any good restaurant, the staff are helpful and very responsive.

#Visit on 4 Nov 2021# For those who do not know, Loving Hut is an international vegan restaurant chain. The interesting part is the Loving Hut restaurants in different countries serve different dishes, especially local cuisine. The restaurant has special dishes on different day, and I planned to order the Kway Chap (Teochew noodle soup) as it is holiday today. However the staff placed the wrong order to "Oyster" omelette. Nevertheless, I went ahead with the wrong order. It is a bit floury, similar to most hawker stalls' oyster omelette (o-luak) in Singapore, but their chilli sauce is the savior. I also ordered a "fresh beancurn skin kailan shrooms". Like the name suggested, it is stir fried bean curb, kailan, and mushrooms. It was very tasty. I will come back on another day to try other dishes. #Visit on 13 Nov 2021# I finally get to try the Kway Chap. It is not disappointing at all. The soup is tasty. The noodle is silky smooth. The "meat" are likely made of beancurb, and texture is comparable to the real thing. However I would prefer if the soup is served hotter, as it was sort of lukewarm. Note to restaurant: appreciate if the plastic straw for coconut not to be reused, as I can see bite marks and it is gross. I am fine without the plastic straw. (I will remove this in my next review update.)

Amazing vegetarian food that can be catered to vegan options as well, ordered the famous char kway teow and laksa and didn't disappoint! Laksa was more spices than milky style, good portions and variety of tofu used. Flavorful! Char kway teow was full of wokhey and more towards sweeter side. I suspect it was prepared earlier as they served it very fast and was alittle soggy but flavor 10/10. Maybe if you order without onion/garlics it may be freshly prepared ;) almost as good as the non-veg version outside! Apart from that, prices for drinks are alittle steep and prices of sides are way too expensive. Maybe to increase trial and offtake, owner can look into reducing portion size and prices to make it more affordable.

Ordered the black pepper brinjal set. It was extremely sweet and difficult to eat. Sauce was like ketchup consistency. Anyways giving this restaurant 1 star because they refused to make any amends for this overpriced dish, but simply said they can only feedback to management which is bad customer service in my opinion. Staff are friendly however, and the burger is good.

Came here multiple times. The Char Kway Teow is to die for. These are the really tasty dishes which I tried. Char Kway Teow which comes with a decent amount of vegetables, soup and a samosa. Despite not using the usual lard, it has the char taste required for the dish. Please eat it while it is hot, really amazing. The satay is great as well, has a coating of Lemongrass marinate over the β€œmeat” with a decent char. Vegan O-luak was decently crispy and comes with mushrooms. The chilli was great. Teochew Mee Pok, despite not using the usual egg noodles, it taste great with the nice chilli and enough vinegar. Handmade 5 spice roll is amazing. Love how it’s very similar to Ngio Heong. Just a preference, but it doesn’t come with water chestnut to give it the crunch. Love this place. Do try the Oh-Nee, really fantastic. On weekdays, they tend not to have cakes. Been wanting to try the apply classic pie. Will keep coming back!

Had the char siew not bad, too sweet to my liking. Fish is good. However the service is disappointing. Given an order we didn’t order the waitress actually come and confronted us, saying we ordered and show her displeasure and bad services. Place the food loudly on the table. We were also charged the fish we didn’t ordered and eat. Didnt even offer a refund. Disappointed. will not visit.

Been looking for a good Nasi Goreng and who knew I would find it in a vegetarian bistro. Love the spice to the rice, and the satay sauce was wonderfully done as well. The toasted peanuts added some crunch and the small bowl of soup balanced out the heat. I think Loving Hut has so much potential to look like a hip Taiwan or Bali vegan hang out. They just need to tweak their interior, menu, and plating just a little. So much potential!

I have only been here once but it is one of my favorite vegan restaurants. The food is very affordable and is great value for the portions you get. We got a variety of dishes and the food came out promptly. The food was delicious and we ended up getting a couple more dishes.

Dishes are not so appitising and the soup does not look like soup. I think the best dish I would like is the Fried Kuey Teow & Satay. Kinda disappointed with the service and food there. The food are towards the pricy side too..

A go to place for my vegetarian fix. Food is tasty, I highly recommend the vegetarian fried kuay teow. It's as good as the non vegetarian kuay teow, without the guilt. The other dishes are also nice.

The best vegan restaurant in Singapore for sure. My recommendation would be the Kway Teow Goreng or the Nasi Bandung ( or something that sounds like that I can’t remember).

Specially made a trip down to Loving Hut to try their food after seeing many good reviews on Google, but the experience was rather disappointing with both the food and service, especially when there’s a 10% service charge. For two person, we ordered the banana leaf nasi campur set, tomyam ocean hotpot set, 5 spice Teochew roll, Thai tofu and a vegan beer. Most of the food was not bad, except the Tom yam hotpot ingredient look nowhere close to what was shown in the menu, the spring roll that came with it have very little filling and the skin was thick, it was also soft and cold when served. On the service aspect, there’s totally no eye contact from the staff and cashier, when food was served, it was just placed on the side of the table (seated on a table for 4 pax) and walked off. The staff also started to clear our table including our soup when we were still eating without checking whether we still want the soup. When come to payment, the cashier just mentioned the amount for payment without getting me to check the receipt to confirm on the items ordered.

Had the satay, sweet and sour nugget rice, nasi campur, fried mushrooms and all star burger set. Everything was great especially the satay and the sweet and sour nuggets, but I was extremely grossed out by the taste of the sauce in the all star burger. The β€œegg” was really cool and pretty delicious, but the taste of the burger patty’s sauce was reallllly gross. It was too salty and just really weird. Also, I think that the basket of fried mushrooms is definitely not worth $12.90. I would definitely come back to try more, especially their daily specials, but I’ll pass on the burger and fried mushroom. (Sorry I only managed to get a pic of the half eaten satay, we were kinda starving.)

I came here several times for dinner and love the vegan variety. Only last time we tried lunch at the opening time and ordered the Nasi campur. The dishes were cold except rice and spinach. The waitress told me that it was normal and offered to microwave it. I didnt know Nasi Campur could be a cold dish πŸ™„πŸ€”

One of the better vegetarian places. Their char kway tiao is so so good (slightly on sweeter side). Even better than some non vegetarian char kway tiao out there. Portion is rather big, too full to finish it alone. Satay is recommended here too. In fact, most of their food is nice.

Had the nasi ulam (super fragrant, beautifully prepared), ngoh hiang (so well spiced, amazing texture), kai lan with tofu skin (best tofu skin I’ve had) and otak (delicately handmade and refined taste and texture). Am I full? Yes. Satisfied? Totally. Coming back? You bet. Cafe has a beautiful energy and you can taste that the food is prepared lovingly and with sincerity. Dabao-ed the CKT home. Can’t wait to have it for lunch tomorrow.

Easy to do reservations with HungryGoWhere app. Called to double check if they received my booking and the staff who served me was very friendly and polite. Was given a window sitting without special request and love the cosy setting of the restaurant. Ordered the following: 1) Fried Kampong Nasi Ulam (Special everyday menu which changes depending on which day of the week you visit). Made with mixed brown rice with herbs, quite dry but there is soup that comes with it. This dish is my personal favourite for mains 2) Asparagus with King Shrooms Wokhey level 5/5, asparagus was crunchy and not very salty and does not comes with alot of gravy. 3) 5 Spice Roll Handmade Teochew Style Wow this is one of my personal favourite for sides. It is well fried and cut nicely in bite sized. 4) Royal Satay This is my another personal favourite for sides. So soft and thick sized "meat". Really love the thickness of the peanut gravy that comes with it! 5) Napoletana Pasta Average pasta, nothing special about it 6) Vegan Beer Tried this for the first time as did not know there is such beer, but taste somewhat similar to me (for someone who doesnt drink so often). Good to try! My friends and I stayed till their closing, we did not know we were the second last group to go. They were very nice to not chase us out and gave us some time to chit chat. Thankful for that! All staffs were very friendly and polite, love the cosy ambience and food was really good! Totally will recommend to my friends and family πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ Will visit again to try their CKT that reviews have raved about β—‘Μˆ Also, I noticed something I have not seen at other restaurants, they have Bus 16 travel pamphlet at their cashier counter. really thoughtful - pretty good for those tourists/ people who are not familiar with the area. Anyone who are Popchips lovers? They are selling sea salt flavour there πŸ™ˆ I thought I could only get them on iHerb, first time seeing it physically in-stores in Singapore. You can also check out their other vegan/vegetarian chips and foods that they are also selling in-stores!

Many people raved about the CKT and I had to just try the vegetarian version though not necessarily healthy. Definitely worth the calories as it had a nice wok hey flavour. The coffee nuggets were really good too. You can be forgiven if you thought they were the actual coffee pork ribs. The nasi Goreng and satay were pretty good too.

Very very very nice vegetarian food. I only tried one set meal. The flavor was awesome just like how my aunty cooks. Truly South East Asian food. Wonderful to cycle past this place and give it a try. A bit pricey but we'll worth it for their efforts in making the meals. Staff very friendly even top up my soup for me. Definitely will try again with Friends

Service was very fast and the shop owner was helpful and eager to help us take group photos too πŸ˜„ Took a bus and alighted at Joo Chiat complex and walked halfway through the entire Joo Chiat Road! As a non-vegan that has never really had vegan food (that isn't like a salad or sandwich or something) and was apprehensive about coming here, trust me when I say it is so good!! I was really shocked when I had my first mouth lol bc it does taste like p good char kway teow! I dont like mock meat and a lot of soy-based food so the mushrooms were gr8 for me. The food is really 5 stars but I really can't bring myself to spend 3x the price of ckt here again so realistically I wouldnt come all the way back unless I have some foreign vegan friends coming to visit or something.

Quirky decor, wide & varied menu, decent prices and all vegan. i think this is a hard combination to find. Service was a bit gruff when I was there on a crowded Saturday lunch but still decent. The Nonja Laksa is v lemak if you like that and strong hints of lemongrass (at least i think so). The Javanese Otak was richly flavoured with tons of herbs. They certainly know how to make their vegan food flavoursome.

Food was pretty good, particularly laksa and char kway teow. Loved the wok hei on the latter. The variety of ingredients used in every dish reflected the meticulousness put into their concoctions. One star deducted because of that fly that dashed across the room continuously. Service was terrific and quick.
