Nice local vegetarian zi char. Lots of dishes and variety to choose from. Price is reasonable for vegetarian. Taste is good with wok hei.

Prices are cheap, generous portion, and services are friendly, at least during off peak times. The food tasted great even to a meat lover like myself. A great place for some vegetarian stir fry for vegetarians and someone who wanted to get some greens for his diet.

22/4/22 Visited on Earth Day 4 items ordered *Claypot Nyonya Mock Fish Gravy is OK however little vege and too many pieces of salty Mock Fish. The seaweed wrapping the Fish has very strong Fishy taste 😅 as the temperature running down... it tasted like kiam hee 😝 *Sweet and Sour Abalone Mushroom Was not served immediately thus when it reached us is barely warm, tasted like sticky rubber and greasy (There is only one staff mending the order counter cum food runner. Understand they are short handed, however some food has to be served immediately 😊) *Braised Mock Duck I was stunned when it was served as it looked so so much different from the photo , as if the Duck has met an accident along the way to us 🤣 but luckily it tasted good. *Beancurd with Black Bean Sauce This is a decent beancurd dish and should not fail, no surprise no wow. Average waiting time , 20 mins and above for dining in. Suggest to get a table first before ordering. Food was not served all at once, at least 10 mins interval between the dishes.

We ordered Sweet Potato Leaf, Claypot Nyonya Mock Fish, and Salted Vegetable and Beancurd Soup. Despite the initial low Google reviews, I was pleasantly surprised. The Sweet Potato Leaf was perfectly cooked with a delightful balance of taste. The Claypot Nyonya Mock Fish had an impressive presentation and a burst of flavors in the Nyonya curry, making it a standout dish. Don’t be discouraged by the reviews, this place exceeded my expectations.

The vegetarian mee goreng is fragrant and spicy. Good mix of ingredients with flat yellow noodles.

Great place. Even my non vegetarian friends love the food here. Their tofu dish topped with ba chor, golden fried mushrooms and kangkong are our all time favorites. They have been getting the taste right maintained their quality since the first day i patronized them.

Good location. Food was the same as last time. It's still very good. We ordered Zi Char. We bought the Claypot Nyonya Mock Fish, Sambal Kang Kong, Kung Pao Abalone Mushroom, Thai-Style Beancurd, and the Beancurd Skin with Vegetables. I didn't really like the Thai-Style Beancurd. It was a little too sweet for my liking. Kung Pao Abalone Mushroom is unique and tasted really good. Claypot Nyonya Mock Fish was a hit or miss. The first time we came here, it was quite bland, but this time it tasted really good. My favourite was the Beancurd Skin with Vegetables. It looks really plain, but it was full of flavour when i ate them. We also bought 6 plates of white rice to go with that.

I am not going to a 5star restaurant, so did not expect a premium service. But the guy serving the counter is really disappointing. Black face for a start. And when politely ask for red chilli, he asked in a impatience way where u seat. After he bring the chilli and utensils, i said thank you boss. He don even want to look at me. I saw other reviews mentioning about the rube uncle. I believed this is nothing personal but what a lot of us experienced The one serving food is much nicer. And the food is nice.

One of the best vegetarian food I ever had ! It’s located in neighbourhood as well. One of my most favourite food from the stall was the Shark Fin soup and olive fried rice which you may refer to the photo. I am sure that I’ll empty the plate no matter how full I am. 👍🏻👍🏻 Do expect longer waiting time during dinner time and especially twice a month (初一十五).

No need to explain further, jus look at the empty plates - sauce also scrappped clean! All dishes are so delicious! Friendly staff and boss. My personal favourite - hotplate sotong, nonya fish, veg w beancurd, duck, oyster mushrooms. Each time try a different dish is just adding on to my fav list 😄

Waiting time was way too long when my family and I ordered just 3 dishes. Waited close to 30 mins for the first dish and the last dish only came when we are about to finish everything on the table. Food doesn't taste as good as well. Hopefully they can improve themselves and provide better food and services in the future

A friend introduced me the place. The menu is like any zhi char stall but all vegetarian food.

I’m never a fan of mock meat, as I dislike the taste of this. However this place serves vegetarian food with that taste, therefore I appreciate this stall. Plus the boss is always friendly.

Great food. We had the mock pork and fish and they were meticulously made to imitate texture of the real thing, cooked in delicious sauces and curry. Fried hor fun was yummy too. Be prepared to wait for food, we waited about 15 minutes. Clean and well ventilated coffeeshop, with ample parking.

I am greatful the chef give my friend and I more food than we ordered. FYI, We were just trying to save money, but thanks for the kind gesture!

The vegan zi cha good here is good. U wont taste the usual vegan mock food taste, kids cant tell the diff from normal zi char cooking. Highly recommended. Pls pls avoid lunar date as the place are usually pack full house, or come earlier to avoid disappointment.

Need a better queue system. We were the first to arrive before the stall opened. Kept telling us to order later, after 12pm. Turned around and saw a man taking orders at 11.45am. I guess regulars know who's in charge and start queuing when he comes. Bad for non regulars. Food wise the standard has dropped a bit. That could be why there is much much lesser crowd than before. I remember reaching there at 12.30pm on either 1st or 15th of the month and the place is packed. That was like a year ago.. Today being the 15th, it was just a quarter or less filled when we left close to 1pm.
