Good korean vegetarian restaurant. It wasn’t pack when we came. But getting more and more people after awhile around 5.30-6pm. All food was good. Didn’t expect it would be quite packed because the surrounding shops closed and it was not crowded area on weekend. 1 big korean army stew was too big for 3 people. I would be nice for 4 people. Physical menu will be provided for the elderly but still need to scan barcode and order accordingly

Did a walk-in without realising its vegetarian (which I'm not usually a fan of), but I wasn't the least bit disappointed! Loved the Jjampong (spicy noodles soup with vegetables and mushroom) and the Tangsuyuk (fried mushrooms with sweet sauce). Pricing wise, I found it very reasonable for the portion size given in a casual, restaurant setting.

Visited this Vegetarian Korean Food stall for 3 consecutive days. The foods have a very rich and authentic flavour yet not too spicy. #YummyForMyTummy #Vegetarian

A vegetarian Korean restaurant, sister to The Boneless Kitchen. After trying, food was just alright. I prefer Boneless Kitchen. Ordered Samgyetang, a veg version of chicken ginseng soup. I can taste the ginseng but don't prefer the starchy texture of the soup. Rather it be like the soupy chicken ginseng.

Often come here to eat with my family over the years. My staple orders: Tangsuyuk: Sweet n Sour mushrooms that are really good. Even my dad (who is a meat eater) thought it was chicken and asked for an additional serving Odeng Bokkeum: its like a hot plate filled with fishcake, vegetables and a sweet n spicy korean sauce. The portion for this was decent. Yangnyeom brocolli: crispy fried brocoli with sticky spicy sauce. My all time favourite and a must try. Yachae Mandu: dumplings with mushroom n vegetables. It was okay, but gotta eat it with the soya sauce provided for that extra oomph Kimchi Jeon: Flat kimchi pancake which was quite nice and delicious. Also ordered their citron tea soda n peach ale which were all pretty good. Only thing i felt negative was that their portion size was abit small and harder to share with my family of four. Overall great food and nice ambience.

It is a rare gem to find a vegetarian korean restaurant that is also allium-free. Food here is amazing, I'd definitely recommend their budae jjigae. The stew has a rich, hearty flavour, and I can't wait to give it another try soon. Service was incredibly fast, food is served within 5 - 10 minutes even under peak hour conditions. I'd recommend reserving a place in peak hours, as it might be hard to find a seat. I came at a friday evening (7.30 pm), and there were only two tables left.

First time having vegetarian Korean food. Pleasantly surprised with their tang suk, Kimchi pancake, jjampong and kimbap. Taste were great, flavourful and similar to that non vegetarian ones. Simple Bancha were provided. Reservations recommended on Friday nights and weekends. Prices were reasonable $10+ per dish.

A rare Korean place which serves whole vegetarian food. The flavors are naturally not comparable to the usual Korean good, but they make up for it with tons of ingredients. Overall it's a good place. Will recommend to those are vegetarian and wants to enjoy Korean flavors.

Korean Vegetarian Restaurant. Some of the staffs are with special needs. You can reach here by mrt - one-north. Exit at Exit D, and take the escalator up towards Galaxis, a shopping mall. Turn left and you will find the restaurant. We had a reservation, so getting seats wasn't a problem. The side dishes are free flow, as expected of usual korean restaurants. Prices are average, and comparable to the usual korean dishes with meat. Taste of most dishes don't really compare to that of dishes with actual meat of course. The cheesy truffle fries had a lot of mayo, and the truffle smell wasn't very strong. Army stew was okay, as the luncheon meat and sausages taste rather similar to the actual ones. The best was the noodles in my last picture imo. Would definitely come back again if I want to vegetarian food.

--Everthing is vegetarian-- We went here on a friend's recommendation. Ordered Jjamppong (Korean soup noodle), kimchi-jeon (aka kimchi-buchimgae), "squid" rings (vegetarian ofcourse) and a dessert with hotteok(Korean pancakes)+ice cream. Jjamppong was served on a small lamp stove(don't know what it's called) so you can have it hot. All of them tasted great. Price is reasonable, the place is cozy and the service is good. Overall great first impressions. Damage for 2 people is around SG$45. Will come back again!!

A lot of healthy ingredients (mushrooms, tofu, veggies) were included and it was filling. Highly recommend the dubu mandu stew ($42) for 3 pax to share as the soup was addictive (think kimchi but not as thick). The handmade dumplings were nice too! The kimchi pancake was also worth it for its price ($8). The japchae ($15) was also very fragrant and nicely seasoned. There was no gst and service charge too. 🥰🥰

It's my first time here and I'm already thinking of coming back for more. This place brought up my bar for vegetarian Korean food and I'm especially impressed by the Soondubu Jjigae (pic 1) and Tangsuyuk (pic 2). For the former, I ordered it less spicy and it was just the right spiciness for me. I find it hard to find one that I can stomach well without needing to call for firefighters and this hit the spot! I was pleasantly surprised that the ingredients in the dish also tasted good on its own in regards to texture and taste. It really shows that they take pride in making every ingredient taste good for us. The side dishes were all right to me. They didn't particularly stand out as the limelight was shone on the main dishes. However, they were crafted like side characters that had their own flair to add to the overall experience. It might be a hit or miss according to your personal preference. I only tried the Tangsuyuk towards the end of my meal and was an instant favourite. It reminded me of those dishes you receive at most wedding dinners. It has a sweet and sour taste with some crunch on the mushrooms. I'd like it crunchier, but this union of flavours truly captivated me. The dishes I had were not only delectable but also presented delightfully. I only took one quick shot of each dish and they turned out so nice! Please keep on taking pride in your food and service :') - a very satisfied customer

Quality food each and every time! Have been bringing different groups of friends there to dine and even my meat-loving pals fall in love with Daehwa. Generous portions so I personally like to visit with more friends so we can share 1 or 2 mains and get sides!! Personal must-trys: yangnyeom broccoli, tangsuyuk, gimbap ((Pics by my friend))

One of the very few vegetarian/vegan Korean restaurants in Singapore. Daehwa is the sister restaurant of The Boneless Kitchen in Tai Seng. I ordered delivery for a few time before eating at the restaurant. I guess it's common but the food is 10 times more delicious if you eat at the restaurant! If you like spicy noodles, try Jjamppong. The portion is big and has a lot of vegetables. The kimchi pancake is not as thick as the authentic Korean pancake but it's good for sharing as a side dish. P.S. I've tried The Boneless Kitchen once. Personally I like Daehwa's taste better.

Was in a rush to look for a Vegan Restaurant at Fusionopolis. Googled and found this restaurant which intrigued our interest. Since time was of essence, we went ahead with this choice and we were not disappointed at all. Mostly vegan options which was to our delight. So we proceeded to other some of the recommended dishes since it was our 1st try. Tangsukyuk Sweet and sour crispy mushroom. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Its almost as if its Sweet and Sour Fried Chicken Chunks! Yachae Jeon Vegetable pancake. Crispy on the bite and chewy on the inside, paired with soy sauce which made it even more amazing with the savoury touch. Quite addictive. Jjampong Spicy Chinese Noodle Stew. Unfortunately, we tasted this after Tangsukyuk and Yachae Jeon, which left our palates a little insensitive to its taste. Its still tasty though but we recommend to eat this prior to the above. Also we felt it could be a tad more spicy. A little under in our opinion. On a side note, we fell that it is laudable that they engage staffs who have special needs and their staffs are really friendly and helpful!! Kudos!

Delicious Korean vegetarian food. Wide variety of dishes, kimbap can be made vegan if requested. The sides are refillable which we enjoy. There's chairs for toddlers too. The food standard is consistently nice.

Good vegetarian restaurant. Kimbap was so good! Rabokki was a bit too sweet. Enjoyed the fried rice cake slices. Samgyetang tastes more like a sweet herbal soup, but still an above average broth.

Ordered Soondubu Jjigae - loved the kimchi soup base but the tofu and other ingredients were just normal so I guessed the pricing was attributed to the kimchi base. The soup serving size was great for two people to share, just add another bowl of rice. The purple rice was fragrant though! They offer options to replace rice with noodles and no egg which are great! Though the soup was spicy, it didn't cause any discomfort to our stomach. In fact, kimchi is good in helping stimulate the bowel system. We were there on wed after 2pm where only 2 tables were occupied. The quiet ambience for a nice lunch suited us. :-)

Soya bean soup should be a little more thicker too much water, pancake is ok but average. We like the deep fried mushroom and deep fried broccoli 🥦 it is will done. Service should be better, one of the lady look like having a bad mood. Restaurant is 60-70% full during the weekend.

We went to celebrate our valentine's day to Daehwa Korean restaurant. I was eyeing for it since long time hence, decided to try it out. Our meal at the vegetarian Korean restaurant was a delightful exploration of Korean flavors. Starting with the "Kimchi Jjigae", a hearty soup having mushrooms, seaweed, and glass noodles, accompanied by a bowl of rice, it's a comforting and satisfying dish. The "Gimali Twigim", a crispy fried dumplings filled with vegetables and glass noodles, adds a delightful texture contrast. "The kimchi jeon", a savory pancake served with soy sauce, offers a flavorful and slightly crispy indulgence. Complementing these savory dishes is the refreshing "Yuja soda", adding a citrusy twist to the meal. And of course, the sides served before the meal likely enhanced the overall experience, tantalizing your taste buds in anticipation of the main courses. You can enjoy all the dishes, especially if you have an appreciation for the bold and tangy flavors of kimchi. If you're interested in further exploring vegetarian Korean cuisine or similar flavor profiles, there are other dishes worth trying. Whether it's discovering new variations of kimchi-based dishes or exploring different aspects of Korean cuisine, there's always more to savor and enjoy. Do reservation before visiting it is crowded sometimes.

Interesting concept, food tasted good, portion is also quite reasonable, just a tad expensive. 1) Honey Butter Fries (with rice cake & “calamari”?) 5/5 2) Kimchi Pancake (we found it a little too much dough taste) 3.5/5 3) Army Stew (portion was big) 4.5/5 4) Tangsuyuk 3.5/5 5) Fried vermicelli roll (only 3 small pieces, not worth the price) 2/5 One of the downside was that we have to pay for the kimchi, which usually is free in Korean Restaurants as banchan.

Surprisingly quick and fast service at Daehwa, a social enterprise that hires social needs. Although it’s on the pricier side for korean food, there’s quite a lot of vegetarian options to choose from - soups to fried dishes. Tried the highly recommended tangsuyuk, soondubu soup and jjamppong - soondubu is really smooth ❤️, honestly wished there was more fried mushrooms in the tangsuyuk (nicely fried and juicy mushrooms) Highly recommend to make a reservation before coming down! Though it was a rainy day, there was queue even at 1+pm (guess it’s a popular option)

I like both of your outlets and I really love your food. But recently when I order this kale at Daewah, it is just not up to your usual standard, it is so oily and floppy... not the usual texture. I wonder what happened but forgot to mentioned when bill. I hope it does improve back to your usual standard. I got so shocked and not feel like ordering again...it doesn't taste that good as of what you charged.🙁

First time going to celebrate since it was mother’s day soon. Total spent around $120, pretty pricey imo but i know the money is going to a good cause so its alright. I saw a lot of reviews that reservation is strongly recommended so i did, was shortly seated and good thing is that food was served pretty promptly. Plus point is that all the main dishes had huge portions Something lacking was that the side dishes costed as much as the main dish 🤣 Onto the food: 1. Kimchi pancake was disappointing, tasted meh and lacked the crispyness and crunchiness - wish they had more kimchi inside and they could have put more effort into the presentatiob 2. Rabokki was too sweet, didn’t taste spicy at all + the rice was overcooked 3. Budae jjigae (Army stew) didnt taste spicy and color wasn’t red.. tasted more soy bean paste(?) 4. Soondubu jjigae (soft tofu stew) +++++++ LOVED IT! I’m usually not a huge of tofu but this was spicy and smooth, came with an egg and rice as a set and i loved it. Would totally order this and recommend it 5. Jjampong (spicy seafood noodle) ++++++ AWESOME. Spicy and noodles were awesome, portion was huge and packed with a lot of ingredients. My dad who isnt a huge fan of non-chinese food loved it so that says something. 6. Bibimbap - portion was huge, but the lack of beansprouts was apparent. A bit disappointing, and also there was too much gosari hahaha 7. The tangsuyuk was everyone’s favourite! Crispy and sour, extremely appetizing. Though i think the portion can be abit more. Giving it 3 stars since there are more misses than hits. Also was expecting jjajangmyeon from a korean restaurant. Hopefully they add more to their menu

OMG the best and the first Korean vegan/vegetarian restaurant that I've been to! You can customize most of the items on the menu to vegan. But if you're not okay with the cross contamination that occurs in the kitchen (cuz it's a vegetarian restaurant not a complete vegan one), you should probably avoid this. But trust me, the taste of the pan cake and the kimchi soup is out of this world. Absolutely loved it. The best part about this restaurant is that they give equal opportunities to the physically challenged people which is highly appreciated. They're here on a purpose.

Surprised with Korean cuisine in vegetarian. Initially thought it might not taste as good as normal. It turned out all the foods also delicious. Had gimbap with brown rice and avocado inside. Even the jjangpong in vegetarian, although it’s plant based, taste different from seafoods. Still not too bad. Service is good too!

Def one of the best Korean vegetarian restaurant! It’s above MRT station, really easy to reach with great food! We love their tofu soup, it was really authentic and spicy enough to match with the rice! Their sides dishes were small but delicate, also the rice along with the soup was added black rice in it! Love the thoughtful touch. Yet, the Tteogbokki and broccoli had only sweet note, will like it be more complex. Otherwise, the full experiences was great! Suitable for family, group friends for casual dinner catch up.

Such an amazing experience today at Daehwa! As a vegetarian it was awesome to not worry about what I could and couldn't order because everything on the menu was up for grabs. We had the "squid" rings for starters which was good. Main course was the Mandu Jeongol hot pot which was such an experience by itself. Flavourful and full of mushrooms, tofu and other vegetables. Washed it down with the citron hot tea. The staff at the restaurant were really helpful and friendly. Had an excellent time and I highly recommend this place for vegetarians eager to try different cuisines.

First ever korean vegetarian restaurant I went. It was great! Didn’t expect the flavour can be that much likely similar to ordinary korean food. My friend is a vegetarian and it is so boring to eat Chinese or Indian vegetarian food normally. Had a tofu stew, korean fried glass noodle and dumplings. The tofu stew was good, tofu was smooth and the soup base tasted appropriated. Dumplings’ skin is crispy and fried to a good extend. The glass noodle was tasted nice too. Was a bit disappointed for the side dishes. there was no kimchi and had to order separately. I ordered but the kimchi is not like the normal one.

A new and delicious experience. We visited this place for dinner and ordered Gimbap, rabokki, jjguae, hotplates and etc. My personal favourite was the Gimbap as it was sour as well as spicy. It was enhanced with many flavours which made it uniquely delicious. I also enjoyed the jjagaue very much. The soup was delicious with both noodles and rice. They give you free sides and rice too. My favourite side is the fermented pink radish at it has a sweetish sour taste. The Rabokki is very sweet. Thus, I don"t recommend it unless you like your main course to be like a dessert. The service and ambience was really nice. Overall, I enjoyed this place.

I tro veg, too small a portion. Bigger portion will certainly reflect the strength of the sales!!

Delish and affordable! Call beforehand for reservations, this place gets packed even though the rest of the mall is deserted on a weekend.

Korean food with a vegetarian twist. Now you can finally try a vegetarian Budae Jjagae! Food is great, service is lightning fast, price is relatively affordable. No gst / service charge. Bonus: Is a social enterprise that hires staff from all walks of life. Eat good; do good; feel good. ;)

Great tasting food! I was impressed by the flavours. We ordered 3 dishes for 2pax. The star of the night was the rabokki (tteokbokki with the dry noodles)!

Cosy Korean vegetarian restaurant. Serves tasty food. I especially like their kimbap.

Their jjampong (spicy red soup noodles) is great, and deceivingly filling! Tried their mandu (fried dumplings) and tangsuyuk (sweet and sour mushrooms) as well, both are delicious too! Take note not to leave both on the table too long though, best eaten when still crispy!

Another fantastic vegetarian korean joint. Absolutely love the food here. Tried the Kimchi jeon and jjampong. They are very good.

Authentic Korean cuisine, the sundubu soup is flavorful considered its’s vegetable based. The jjamppong noodle is also good. Pancake is good but can be a bit more crispy. Good service also. Definitely will visit again.

Daehwa korean vegetarian is a lovely restaurant. The service is super fast and the food is well prepared and tasty. I loved their cutlery, golden spoon. I absolutely recommend this place for vegetarians who want to try Korean cuisine. You must try Kimchi pancake. Their dessert pancake served with icecream is delightful.

Located at level 1 fusionopolis, small seating area so do reserve your spot before coming over to avoid queues. Food is generally on the expensive side 15++ but good thing is no service charge & gst. Good that they hire special needs staff too as it makes the cost more acceptable. However pricing often leads diners to order the lower priced pancake which is not tasty, while the other dishes go 2x the price, while not being 2x in taste. The army stew is unfortunately overrated and portion sizes even for the sides are measly. We only got one spoonful of beansprouts and 4 small cubes of potato as sides for 2 pax without refill. The jjampong is quite hearty and the only meal worth the price. Go if you really crave koreanfood and are vegetarian. Otherwise there are plenty of better, more well priced and tastier options elsewhere.

This is an AMAZING place. The food is out of this world. Order the steamed egg on the secret menu. Also, they are a social enterprise but goes about it in a quiet way, without belabouring the fact that they are one. I cannot get over how important this fact is. My goodness, I would like to transfer my entire life savings to them if I could. Thank you for existing Daehwa and Boneless Kitchen, and I hope you guys will prosper forever. I am coming back for as long as I live.

Ordered a couple of dishes to try on a Friday evening. Stand out dishes were the Ginseng Soup and the Fried Broccoli. The Kimchi Pancake was forgettable. The side dishes which tasted bland came in rather small portions. Service was transactional. Reserve your table if you are coming and dining time is 75 mins - which is sufficient given that their table service is prompt.

It was a great experience in their shop! Eventhough I was kinda late, we still managed to eat our food and I’m very glad that they let us even celebrate my grandma’s birthday! The staffs are very kind and nice till my grandma enjoyed her birthday there! Highly recommended to try their food and I’m willingly to come back here again!

Fully vegan! Great flavours! Definitely worth a visit. Meal for 2 people costs less than 50 dollars. We ordered the Jjampong (flavorful and moderately spicy noodle stew served on fire), Yangyeom broccoli (crispy on the outside, juicy inside with a sweet and savoury sauce), Rabokki (noodles with a sweet flavour and a lot of seaweed), and Danmuji (pickled radish) for 47 dollars. It was more than enough food for two hungry adults!

Social enterprise employing special needs staff. Very friendly and accommodating staff! One of the few places to get allium-free vegetarian Korean food in Singapore! Vegan options are clearly indicated. There is more emphasis on natural ingredients rather than mock meat. Highly recommend the Yangnyeom Broccoli (sauce is similar to what I had in Korea) and Ttukbaegi Bulgogi with Rice. Menu is slightly different from The Boneless Kitchen branch. Hope the menu can be expanded such as with more temple-style cuisine, perilla soup noodles, ssambap wraps, etc! Located at One North MRT Station.

Awesome Korean vegetarian food! Had the army jeongol and it felt no different from non-veg army stews. The sausage and luncheon meat tasted close enough to the real thing, in fact I prefer this to normal army stews as it is not too salty. The pancake wowed us too, crispy and flavourful despite not having any seafood. I also liked the side dishes, radish was not too sour.

Great place for vegetarian Korean food. What I like about the dishes is that they don't try to mimic meat, but are their own dishes. A little on the pricy side but with multiple visits for me.

“Vegetarian Korean Restaurant?! How delicious can it get?” Famous last words by my friend when someone suggested we have lunch at Daehwa. My photos didn’t do justice to the food :( The Soondubu Jjigae is incredibly delicious and surpasses all stereotypes I had of vegetarian food. No meat? Didn’t even notice it was missing! The soft tofu chunks, fried tofu and assorted mushrooms filled up this addictive bowl of piping hot stew. The soup was really tasty and had a hint of tomato in a good, healthy way. Also ordered the Yangnyeom Broccoli which was another winner! To be honest I didn’t know broccoli would do so well enclosed in batter and fried. The description put me off initially, but I’m so glad my friend decided to go ahead with the order. The yangnyeom sauce has a good kick of spiciness, but the sweet nutty sauce quickly takes over. Do follow me on Instagram @littlemissramensg for more food reviews!

Always enjoyed the gimbap and ginseng soup - they were delightful! The tangsuyuk was great too (not in pic). Note: Only accept cash, nets and paynow.

The tteokbokki with noodles was a little too sweet. But the rest of the soup dishes were very flavourful and packed with ingredients 😋 The operations is extremely efficient as it took only minutes before our food arrive ✨
