This hidden restaurant in Quality Hotel is serving quite good Asian Buffet for vegetarian. You can get variety of Asian Foods from the local Satay to Chinese Dumpling. I highly recommend their Satay and Char Kuey Teow as they tasted really good! The desserts consists of cakes, pudding, cookies and ice cream, which is acceptable for me. The interior design is okay with the Chinese Style Restaurant. However the carpet makes the place a little bit dull. Hope they will remove it. We went there during Christmas and ate $33.90 per person after including service tax. They will secretly add wet tissue costs in your receipt, so remember to exclude it when paying the bill if you did not use it. It saves you $1 for two.

The mee sua taro cake and monkey head dumpling are delicious! Laksa was a tad too spicy for me. Mushroom fried rice was rather lackluster. Will definitely come back again to try other dishes!

This is a bright airy restaurant smacked right at the main entrance of Chinatown point. They serve an impressive range of vegetarian dishes with a modern twist. Some of their signature dishes include their dry laksa noodle that is spicy and tasty. It's amazing how the mock prawns and fish cake made it seems as though they are the real McCoy. The presentation of the satay never fails to impress. It's a good blend of flavour and texture though I felt that the satay sauce could have more turmeric and crushed peanuts. The deep fried mushroom was drenched with sticky sweet and sauce that would go very well with a bowl of brown rice. Worth giving this place a visit.

Good vegetarian options. Loved the satay and the lion mane mushroom dumplings. Friendly service. Will come here again.

Had our yearly reunion here, opted for the 8 course meal. Favourite dish was the double boiled soup with premium mushroom and fungi. Not a vegetarian so will probably not visit again but definitely good to come and try.

Highly recommended buffet spread for vegans and vegetarians. Very generous variety and the staff are warm and friendly, yet giving you enough space to feel unhurried. Absolutely our favorite!

Brought my mum for lunch today after reading all the good reviews. It was a total disappointment!!! When we walked in at 11.45 am, the service staff ignored us completely until I approached one of them and asked if we could just pick any empty table available? (Restaurant was empty with only 2 or 3 tables occupied). Food is cold. . Mixed drinks is blend like plain water. Service aunty behind the laksa counter was rude. Never ever will I go back again!!!!

Superb buffet! Excellent selection of dishes including noodles, stir fries, veggies, curries, dumplings, sushi, salad and soups. Some Pretty convincing faux meat items too! Went away feeling full, but healthier than I normally do after an Asian-style buffet. Very good value too. If there were more restaurants like this around, I would probably go completely vegetarian.

Had the buffet dinner. The range of dishes are surprisingly small but well refilled to keep them available. The taste is great and i can see the quality is there. Recommend to go to try it if you haven't.

20/07/19 They have both alacart and buffet. Vegetarian food. Tried the buffet. Average quality compared to the hotel buffet. Nothing special. Mixture of Mok meats and real vegetables. Rather expensive for the limited spread.

Must go if you have friends who are vegetarian and you still like to have your regular non-vegetarian flavours. Food is good, but go easy as most of the dishes here are carbs.

Good vegetarian restaurant in China town. Food is decently priced not overpriced.. Quite a variety of soups, noodles and vegetables available. Dumpling are good too. Service is good overall a good experience..

Nice sit down restaurant with good ambience. Decent menu featuring a good selection of Chinese dishes. Ordered the carrot cake, beancurd rolls, crystal chive dumplings and BBQ mushroom pau from the dim sum menu - good presentation, decent quality (skin of the crystal dumplings was really soft which I was impressed by) though not particularly impressionable in taste, as were the noodles and porridge. Overall no complaints as to the quality or experience, but the place just didn't leave a strong enough impression for me to want to go back again.

Been to Chinatown Point on many occasions and finally had a chance to sample the food from this outlet. Venue is nicely decor and all dishes are vegetarian. The kitchen is partially open concept, it’s surrounded by see through glass panels. Food are served fast within 20 minutes, probably due to low patron level at 5pm. Food are delicious and savoury. I would say the food ordered are ample for 2 persons at most. If you have more people, there might be an upsized version, regrettably had not asked them on this. Would probably go again to sample the other dishes as well.

an enjoyable meal that left me feeling satisfied! the crystal dumplings had a rather bland filling tho :/ (you could rly taste the veggies! I’m a veggie lover but thought that it needed more seasoning) the chilli provided was Super good tho! would give a pass on the beancurd rolls and Teochew dumplings. the wonton soup tasted yummy but again the filling in the wontons had a distinct taste that was okay but not the most enjoyable! (It was bearable tho) my FAVOURITE dish that we ordered was the king oyster mushroom 叉烧包! tasted exactly like 叉烧包 and had the texture! I’d come back here again but order different things! Their menu is a little hit and miss!

Had buffet twice here, both times on Fridays. Selection is very good and even includes a dessert section. You get to make your own ice kacang. There are also 2 stations for you to order dishes like nasi lemak, chicken rice, laksa, and yong tau foo. The two I tried - chicken rice and laksa - are really good. Staff are polite and my plates were cleared very promptly. Note that right now, the buffet is only available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - call to ask and make a reservation.

Had a vegetarian buffet dinner with a group of friends here. Has a large variety of food and food was regularly topped up when empty. Everyone thought the dishes were amazing. Includes drinks and desserts too.

  • 3/5 edlonsc 4 years ago on Google
The buffet varieties are a lot to choose from. Taste wise I would say average and you must make a reservation if you are going there on the weekend. Service is good and environment is comfort.

Restaurant located on the 2nd floor of a hotel. Delicious buffet style food, cheaper than the lotus kitchen (restaurant branch located in chinatown). Food was kept warm, quite a few food choices (from Japanese sushi to local Malaysian food). Best part is unlimited refill on drinks. But wet wipes are charged extra per person.

seriously the price does not justify the quality of the food. was told it was Christmas special and prices went up to 26.80++ from 22.80++. no sign mentioning it. when sitting down, no one highlighted the price too. the LCD screen outside still showing the old price. manager gave a lame excuse and just walked away. not worth going back to be honest. there are better choices of restaurants with better quality.

The service and variety were good for this buffet lunch. However, the "curry mutton" was too salty and the ice for the ice kachang was too rough. Most of the food were tasty.
