Been here many times but didn't bother to write review until I almost slipped and fell today. Floor was oily (I didn't run). The Staff (2 girls on service floor) has not been the most friendly one of all their branches (Inc. Times, Zizai). Food is on the easy palette, probably because its heavily seasoned. The last visit we asked the staff (tall boy) about the Day's soup. He asked us to refer to the A4 size soup menu near the condiments counter, and we were seated probably 2 tables away. After a while, he in the informed us nonetheless. Could it be because of understaffing and extreme long hours? Samba belachan is double thumbs up though. Didn't feel welcomed here, will I visit again? Yes, purely because its convenient. Meanwhile, Let me grab some water for that post- msg-infused meal.

The restaurant gave a very eclectic, homey vibe. Basically felt like we were eating in someone's house, with the odd assortment of knick knacks and decor on display. The food was fantastic, the vegetarian fare did not make me miss meat at all. The sambal petai in particular was amazing. Food wasn't too pricey too, very easy on the wallet. Overall a great experience!

was there at 9.15pm, we know your last order 9.30pm and the cafe has no crowd. Hmmm perhaps your boss earn enough for today and you suggested us to take away instead? Quite disappointed and decided to travel else where to fill our hungry tummy instead. I will reconsider whether will want to visit your place again if given the choice.

Great vegan/vegetarian restaurant that is easily accessible by the Downtown MRT line. At the time we went, we couldn't make reservations ahead so we had to line up. It's a popular spot so you will have to line up but only for 10-15 mins before getting a table as there are lot of seating area and the staff does a good job of getting the tables set up quickly. The food was pretty good especially the satay. We were a bit disappointed though as the number of dishes that were vegan or could be veganized were limited. Partly because in some of the dishes, they use coconut milk but then also add regular milk to it. Since the dishes are pre-prepared to a certain extent, they cannot remove the regular milk either.

Best place when you crave for vegetarian food. It is a simple place but very clean and neatly maintained. It is just outside beauty world MRT, easily accessible for all. We loved their Fruit Rojak and dumpling soup. The soup portion was so generous. We would definitely come back to try out their other dishes. Great place, yummy food and happy vibes. Must try!!

Went back here for a second time and the food is still very well cooked. The menu is extensive, especially when having a vegetarian in the family. It bit hard at times to get the attention of the staff as they are very busy, but will definitely come back.

Just ordered a few dishes, requested the yam ring center ingredients mock meat to change to lion mane. They refused even we offer to top up. Thereafter, requested to remove the mock meat, the young tall man also refused and asked me to cancel the item. I was shocked. I said you insist to give it to me, we will not eat and throw away which I'm not willing to waste food which I explained to him. He asked me again why don't want, really nuisance. Thereafter, he offered me replaced to all veges, I said that's what I told you initially. He was very unhappy and attitude issues. Management, please look into this issue. The young lady with a bun refused to give me the young tall man name.

I've walked past this place a million times, and never once had I thought of entering till I start eating vegetarian lately. I came late at about 9 pm and there were ample seats available but don't let that fool you thinking that the food is going to be a disappointment. We promptly made our order and the food came very very quickly. Despite the speed, the horfun I ordered was filled with wok hei and the sauce was done just right! What really didn't for me was the a seam fish! The texture of the fish was almost like eating the real stuff and the Assam sauce was so appetising. If you are ordering this, be sure to order rice to go with it. What made me decide to give it 5 star was how the cashier bothered to ask for feedback about what we just had. Before my dinner ended, I'm already thinking about what ill have for my next visit. I'll be back!

The restaurant is located just opposite the Beauty World MRT station. We had lunch (3pax) on a Saturday and it wasn't too crowded. Service was prompt and polite, prices were reasonable. We loved all the dishes (bitter gourd in black bean sauce, fried egg & tomatoes, steamed tofu) except for the deep-fried sweet and sour mushroom, which wasn't exceptional (more chewy than crispy). They have a good selection of infused rice and serve different hot and cold beverages (including BBT). Recommended!

Tried D'life for the first time with my family and we really loved it! The yam ring and the thai fish cake were amazing. The olive fried rice and sambal petai fried rice were tasty and flavourful plus it was not too salty. We ordered many dishes and even had a drink per person the total bill was ~$70. Will definitely come back! (Tho I would not recommend to order the claypot ee mian as it was one of the more 'average' tasting dish on their menu)

Large selection of vegetarian options (and textured proteins). Friendly staff, quick service, good environment.

Homely and comfortable restaurant. The wait staff are friendly and approachable. Ordered the signature fried rice, sweet sour hericum, Kung po chicken cube with rice and a vanilla slushy. Food was tasty and flavourful, but unfortunately the slushy was overpriced and tasted terrible. Will return again for the vegetarian dishes.

Hygiene is good,. Food is great, I usually go there once a week to enjoy my lunch with my wife, service is good and they have introduced digital ordering. If you have eaten enough of meat and want to try some thing different. This is a must visit place.

Tasty vegetarian dishes at reasonable prices. This seems like a family-run business, so everybody is homely and relaxed. No need reservations but they are popular so be ready to wait a bit during peak hours.

Order several dishes and come quite fast. Food tasted nice and delicious, olive fried rice was on point with each rice fry to perfection. Kai lan aslo tasted with unami rich in flavor. Can order via QR code if paying by credit card or thru staff if paying cash. Overall ok experience for a vegetarian alternative.

I tried the asam laksa which recommended by other reviewers. It tastes flavourful, spicy, and sourโ€ฆit is a very appetising dish. The noodles give good texture too. Comfy environment, friendly staff, great location, just opposite Beauty World MRT exit B. Will come back again to try out other dishes.

Fried rice is so good!! Tofu is nice too, monkey head mushroom is interesting but not a fan. Yam ring is ok.

Nice vegetarian food! The Nasi Lemak has a nice flavour on the rice, though not overly done, chilli goes with this dish in my opinion. The ngoh hiang is a bit hard but the taste make up for it. If you don't like too hard stuff, maybe you want to skip this dish. Toufu has a great mixed of sauces. Claypot rice looks better than the taste though, so I'll skip this next time, as I'm one with heavy taste. Cereal "prawn" is very well done, such that I can just go with cereal and rice if need to. Overall, this place has enough dishes and set meal to cater to most, so I'll not take any stars off, especially the ambience and service is well above average.

Easy 5 stars for the dish I tried - Egg ginger noodle/vermicelli soup. Here's why: Portion? Massive. Confirm full. Flavour? Solid. The ginger packs a punch but isn't overpowering as you continue drinking. Price? Good. Considering its aircon and a restaurant style setting. Overall, the simple ingredients used like the egg and veggies really shine through in this dish. Simple, comforting, yet flavourful. Do note if you want the mee sua option, need to top up an additional dollar.

Place is clean and staff is attentive. Parking at opposite side on surface Carpark. Menu is very comprehensive as compared to other vegetarian places. Nasi Lemak was excellent. The fried โ€œikan bilisโ€ were tasty. Rice was fragrant. โ€œSambalโ€ chill was really good. Satay bee hoon was good as well but could be more fragrant. Fried spring rolls were excellent, highly recommended. Definitely a place to go if you want to try vegetarian options.

Brought my mum there the first time, we ordered asam laksa, hor fun, mushroom spinach, herbal mushroom soup and rendang (just realised we ordered too much as their portion is generous), all taste good and mum like it a lot. We ended dabao all the left over and eat for another 2 meals. Food :๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Service : ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ service of staff can be improved especially the one at the front counter. Price : ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Portion : ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Recommend to friends: yes
