Vegetarian food availability: 5 stars I am thoroughly disappointed. We decided to try this seemingly modern yet traditional restaurant due to its unique decor. We were dissatisfied. There were many flaws ranging from unhygienic sinks to humongous costs. The food was mediocre and tasteless. I must say the gobi manchurian was unseasoned and the dosage was autrociously thin. The filling in it was horrendous. The milkshake was half filled with ice. Not worth for  $5.50. The customer service was even worst. I had visited this place before and the staff shunned us away. I decided to make a visit again because I thought it would be helpful for my google reviews. I am advising all of you to stay away from this place unless you want to waste your money.

Madura's Vilas is a gem in the heart of Little India! Top-notch service that leaves you feeling like royalty, and the food quality is a flavor explosion. Located in the vibrant hub of Little India, it's not just a meal. It's an experience! Easy to access, whether you're a local or exploring from afar. Pro tip: Try the Idli tiffin best value and the special filter coffee – they are a taste bud symphony! Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic South Indian cuisine. Were there every subday morning for breakfast. I'd reccomend to get there early as it gets quite crowded later in the day.

Food was good. You can enjoy the Indian taste of vegetarian food. This is situated in little Italy and served piping hot and delicious Indian food. The restaurant was a pure vegetarian restaurant.

Pure vegetarian restaurant situated opposite Tekka market. Strategic location. Had breakfast. Pooris were served with delicious channa curry and masala potato. Onion rava thosai was crispy and the chutneys were fresh and yummy. Coffee with cow's milk was simply superb. Service was fast and staff were friendly. Service with a smile. Upstairs dining is available when seating is full downstairs. Rest room located upstairs.

We (group of 9) were the first to arrive and orders were taken. But 1.5hrs later some drinks are still not served??? No system. Waiters get the food name mixed up when serving. They don't know which table ordered what. Appam taste sour and is uncookef and flat yet the kitchen dares to serve the appam. All in all, the business cannot survive if you continue to run in this disorganised way because the experience is unpleasant for even patient customers and billing will be messed up. Good Luck.

Price: $2.90 (Plain Thosai) Plain Thosai: 5/5 Thosai was crispy, savoury and had a good sour taste. Sambar: 4.5/5 Sambar was savoury, flavourful, slightly spicy and had a subtle sweetness. Chutney: 5/5 Orange chutney was tart, oniony, a little spicy and appetising. White chutney was coconuty and spicy. Green chutney was flavourful and minty. Total score: 14.5/15 Add-ons: Madura’s SPL Filter Coffee ($1.90) was really fragrant. The coffee blend they used was different from other filter coffee I had. Slightly more acidic but wonderfully combined with the milk. Even though I was seated at the second floor, service was still prompt and good. Did not have to wait too long for my plain thosai and my filter coffee came quickly after I made an order for it. The second floor was well lit and air conditioning was just right without being too cold. There was also Indian music playing in the background. Overall a good experience at Madura’s Vilas and hope to come back to try other items on the menu!

Ymmy food at fair prices. Mum had the appom set - It was reall good with rich coconut flavors. Better than many others. I had the pongal set - I love pongal n the vadai was soft. Puri n potatoes were tasty. Best of all.. Filter coffee was so nice that we had to order a second one... First them here and will surely be back.

It's on buffalo road. Price at little expensive. We ordered for Kerala Partha and curry and found little lower than normal paratha. But appam and dosa looks awesome.

Chappti with Korma aromatic n melting while eating. Bee hoon fried added with sliced red chilli with sliced cucumber with tomato sauce great aromatic tasty and also the Hot fun fantastic taste all extra extra credit goes to the Chef,. All these food had reminded me when I was a little girl in Sembwang Village. All these food really after even eating still mouth watering

The best restaurant ever! Foods are very delicious, the Staffs too kind to us when serve the food, really enjoyed the foods and the services! I’d definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who’s looking for good Indian Vegetarian food at reasonable prices in town. Thank you for the best food! Will come again :)

Must must try hotel for vegetarians. You can have all non vegetarian items in form of vegetarian ingredients. They mock meat to prepare these items. I have 2 items chilly chicken and fish fry! Awesome.. vegetarian guy don miss this hotel and try mock meet items.

We had a ghee roast dosa, masala tea and filter coffee. I also ordered some orange and yellow ladoo to take home. The ghee roast was perfect and large. The accompanying sambar and chutneys were very flavourful too. It’s very crowded; so be prepared to wait to be seated. The staff was very cordial and attentive. 4 stars as the ladoo were a disappointment. Very dry and powdery.

A huge selection of vegetarian food in both south Indian and north Indian cuisines. the food is really tasty and above all is very cheap. the staff is cordial and the place also has some home made snacks to be purchased. The restaurant is located at the Buffalo road on the side of the florists.

The service is very bad. Expect to wait for very long for your food and drinks. The kitchen staff take their own time with loud music in the kitchen. The worst is utensils is not cleaned properly.

Have just the coffee... maybe. The food took nearly half hour to come despite taking the waiter's advice and not ordering an item that might take up to "10-15min" to be prepared. Food was so-so. Coffee was good and is what I'll miss but fortunately there's other good coffees in the area.

Perfect place for vegetarian Appam! It is crispy on the outer ring and fluffy, chewy and soft on the inner ring. The milk that comes with the Appam seems a bit too sweet for me, yet most people will find it perfectly heavenly. Service is awesome. I was on carbohydrate overload time, and asked for more vegetables, and the staff helped me order servings of vegetables so I could have the meal pretty much my style and way. Thank you for the delicious Appam and wonderful service.

Just pray that you don't suffer from food comatose 😴 after patronising this restaurant. Some of their drinks such as mint lime juice and pinacolada can result in a hangover🙃.

I ordered a drink, and they forgot to pack my drinks. Releasing it after I went back, I called the restaurant and told them the drink was not given. So they asked me to come again another day. I asked the manager do I need to show the receipt he said no just tell my name to the counter staff. The next week, we went there and I told my name and all of them were so rude and made us feel like we were bargaining for a free drink. Like what kind of attitude is this ?

The dosas are good but the sev Puri and dahi Puri were identical. No difference.

Excellent place for south indian breakfast. Taali meal is average.

Always bad experience. This time bought pani puri. They charged 7 SGD. But the stuff they gave is not suffice to fill in the puris. Though all are ready made. They are stingy to give enough potato smash... I ate 4 puris without potato smash.. Last time, had bad experience by giving wrong parcel. It's in nice location, otherwise I will not prefer to go this shop

I catered idli, sambar, chilli chutney and coconut chutney....too be honest it's was very fantastic and tempting....this place is one of my favourite vegetarian restaurant. The food here all were awesome...

This is the most disgusting place where you can have food. Service : no one comes to unless you need for taking order. Once you place your order, you can easily go outside and do shopping and return after 30 minutes. No no it is not a problem the restaurant had too many orders, it is problem of staff, they forget it.unless you dun beg again they will not bring it. Food : the items which you have ordered is been long prepared, so when it reaches to you, its cold, disgusting n its a shame. You can finish your filter coffee in one sip Unless you are starving, dun come near to this place.

Great place for South Indian food. Do try delicious sweets

To be frank we didint plan to visit this restaurant and since it was raining and we were closer to this one we decided to have lunch here. Restaurant is close to tekka centre at the vegetable market. To our surprise it was way beyond our expectations and we really enjoyed our food. Restaurant has varities of mock vegeterian loca singaporean cusines as well as south and north Indian cuisine. We would definitly revisit this one.

They have fake menu because they write on the menu mock butter chicken but when i told the service boy that i want butter chicken then he never tell me that its mock and apart from it if they have vegetarian restaurant then why u said that it is chicken ,i waste my money because it was not chicken
