Good for chinese good, must visit if you want to have different experience, different types of noodles, only veg (including egg) is available, you can select you our own meals or can choose from different menu, famous for its chilly, staff is friendly, everything is chargeable be it water, tissue paper. you can sit inside or outside the restaurant, Washrooms are ok, but can be better

Good Chinese Vegetarian restaurant. Not the best with curry being little thin and gong bao chicken not that tasty, but good. Service was pleasantly good by local standards though they were very busy. Adding at least one more staff can easily reduce waiting times for guests and more customers served.

One of the most comfy restaurant you can find in Sembawang with excellent food and quality service😄. I would recommend the cereal abalone mushroom, it is soft, juicy and tender on the inside and crispy and flavourful on the outside, a very great resemblance to fried chicken. thanks to the chef. Definitely worth the price and would come again.👍

Hubs started eating vegetarian on 1st and 15th day of the Chinese calendar and we came upon this place relatively near our place with high rating so we came here to try. Got here at 1130am and there were empty tables available, not as crowded as when it was 1230pm where there was a queue forming. Staff members were all quite friendly and attentive. We ordered kopi, milo, nasi lemak, assam laksa, carrot cake and it was only $20.30 in total, quite affordable. Nasi lemak was really not bad, the rice itself was actually nicer than some non-vegetarian nasi lemak. It was really fragrant. Asked them to help change my sunny side up to hardboiled egg and they obliged. Assam laksa had similar taste and fragrance but the soup was not as thick as the usual type, more of a soupy/watery consistency probably cos they had to substitute the minced fish meat to some vegetarian ingredient. Carrot cake was nice that you could taste some wokhei in it, some parts were charred and crispy but texture in the middle was still soft. Better than some other places. Overall, it's a nice vegetarian place with a lot of other food choices but waiting time for food may be a little long. Also, probably cos we went there on the 1st day of the month on chinese calendar.

Ordered through grab food, one of my favorite comfort food, vegetarian sambal petai fried rice. Their fried rice are pretty good, generous in portion and ingredients, topped with plenty amount of vegetarian meat floss. Large portion is enough for 2-3 pax.

I have been eating here for a long time and food has always been good. But in today’s order of Ginger Mee Sua, I found a lot of bugs in my soup. Ordered two bowls and both have the same issue. Very disappointed and scary experience, pls sanitise ur kitchen thoroughly.

Food was delicious. It was not oily and was served piping hot. The same applies to the hot drinks. The staff was friendly and served us promptly whenever we had a request. The atmosphere was chill and the air-conditioner was comfortable, making it an enjoyable experience. There were sufficient seats to account for the peak dining hours, yet the walking space was ample, no one had to feel squeezed.

The menu here is very extensive and the food that we eventually ordered were ok. Prices were also reasonable. Nasi lemak and hokkien noodle is pretty good. Luo han guo drink is pretty good too. The ambience here is ok (not great) but it can get quite noisy inside because there are a lot of echoes. Service is basic, not bad but also nothing very specially good.

So here I was driving to Sembawang to eat my favourite Indian food, but alas! They were closed for renovations. Feeling somewhat adventurous, I drove on ahead and came to Jalan Legundi just across the road from the Sembawang Shopping Centre. Quite a few eateries here, but I wanted to go vegetarian, so I stepped into this place. Good choice! The staff are friendly and approachable. The place is quiet and cool, and the food is good! The omelette with radish was moist and tasty, but I loved the fish slice claypot curry! The sauce was thick, and didn't have any of those coconutty flavour and smell so reminiscent of Chinese curries. In fact, it has hints of Indian curry flavour and smell. They loaded the dish with lots of lady's fingers and eggplant, and 5 slices of 'fish'. They really take their flavours seriously, because the fish tasted like fried.....Fish! Kudos to the chef! There's nothing not to like about this place, and I had a wonderful lunch here. Like the man said, I'll Be Back😉

A quaint Chinese vegetarian diner tucked in a corner of Sembawang. Dishes were all good - we had aubergines, bittergourd omelette, fried bee hoon, and watercress soup. Zi char favorites and individual sets are available and reasonably priced. Service was exceptional and kindly, and on weekdays it is not too crowded. Will definitely return :)

The shop is in a relatively good and easily locatable location. Shop signage is large and unmissable. Food was excellent, though the wait time was a little longer than expected, as the store was very empty when I visited. Hygiene was alright, though I was surprised to find flies within the air-conditioned dining area. Staff didn't seem interested in chasing or removing the flies. For an eatery, especially one with an air-conditioned area, there should be measures to remove flies that enter. Fish slice beehoon - the soup is good, fish slices are very deep fried. Whole pickled plum included in the soup to add flavour. Vegan milk-free version available on request. Hot plate tofu - if you take eggs, they will pour beaten eggs on the base of the hotplate and stack the fried tofu above. Very yummy, however the sauce is very savoury making the egg a bit too savoury. The savoury sauce goes well with the tofu that has a light flavour. Watercress soup - strong flavour, bitter soup (it is watercress). Good as expected. Generous amount of mock mutton added. Small side for 3-4 people will suffice unless everyone drinks a lot of soup. Sweet potato leaves - available in spicy and non-spicy versions. Very delicious too. Cereal abalone mushroom - super delicious, regret not getting a medium sized portion. Edit to include second review: Tried the set meals this time, Hokkien Mee - surprisingly it doesn't come with lime. Taste wise, it was tasty but the wok hei was missing. Strong flavour became overpowering later in the meal. Fatty flavour a bit too strong. Chicken rice - generally tasty but the rice could be more flavourful. Chili is decent. Overall a nice dish. Raddish/carrot cake - serving is small. Taste wise is alright, nice that they offer this option. Hor Fun - strong flavour, yet not too fatty. Nice strong, fragrant wok hei. The best of the four dishes we tried this round. Sweet sour pork rib rice - tasty, though I would have expected more sweet sour sauce. The 'meat' tasted like a mixture of vegetarian chicken and with a inner fishcake texture. Hokkien mee - unfortunately a miss for me. The noodles were quite dry and the flavour left much to be desired. Edit to reply to owner's response & fix typo errors: Hi! It's great to hear from the restaurant! I'll definitely be visiting regularly as the food was great! The presence of flies in the restaurant was unpleasant, but it happens and we do understand that flies can be difficult to remove, especially since insecticides aren't suitable for use in F&B.

One of the best tasting vegetarian food in this region. Highly recommend for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The restaurant is very clean and the decor while simple is pleasing to the eye. There is a condiments corner which was very neatly arranged and the confusing ones were clearly labelled. The service was fast and the people who served us were friendly and patient in answering any queries. We ordered a Luo Han Vegetable, 3 Cup Sauce Tofu, Gong Bao Chicken Rice Set, Xiang Chun Fried Rice and Penang Chao Guo Tiao. Other than the tofu which was slightly too sweet, the rest of the fishes were fantastic. Will definitely return again.

We have been supporting Leaf Corner since it open the sembawang joint. But today we were utterly disgusted by the attitude of one of the female staff. We requested to change one spicy dish on the 4-5 pax set meal and was very rudely rejected. We are willing to top up the difference in price if any but she insisted that her boss instruction is no modification to set meal and she goes on to lecture us if they allow one customer to change then they have to accommodate others. I was surprised to hear this. You are running a restaurant and isn't it a service industry? Not to mention her attitude was extremely rude. Not even apologetic or asking the customer for understanding. It the last time I m patronising the rerestaurant.

Amazed by their service recovery. We ordered via foodpanda. Two soup were spilled, we gave them a call and they offer to deliver a new one within 20 minutes. Thank you so much for providing such a good service. We will definitely visit this restaurant again.

Nice vegetarian food and price is fair. The Ginger Egg Mee Sua, Char Kway Teow and Creamy Abalone Mushroom is a must try.

I had a wonderful dining experience! The staff are all very friendly and the food is amazing too. I exceptionally love the cereal tofu, vege roll, mushroom and carrot egg, and olive fried rice. Highly recommend all vegetarians and non-vegetarians to dine here!

Not recommend this outlet after lunch about 2.30pm as our first visit after Hot Spring. Ordered Fried Kway Tiao & Claypot rice, the staff told us that all chief are going to have lunch, need to wait at least 15mins. But we have a 4yo kid so I told them we are hungry too then these are what we got within 5mins. The Claypot rice just the simplest fried rice, rice is not soft cooked that, never fire cooked on Claypot. The fried Kway Tiao also not the same as the Jurong west outlet, no wok hey. Eatable but Very disappointed! Total understand all chief should take their lunch but they are take turn to eat. With this kind of food service, this will be my one time visit. I do not usually make a bad review but it's really not up to the standard as a chief to serve this kind of food.

📷 Xiang Chun Fried Rice 📷 Honey Chicken 📷 Stir Fry Spinach 📷 Cereal Tofu 🥓 All that was ordered is either good or ok, but the honey chicken was downright terrible. Will not recommend anyone to order Honey Chicken, all of us didn't like it. You can order to try it out if you are so curious about how it taste. 🤑 Not value for money, the portion are quite small relative to its price. There are other stores out there that is more affordable and taste better. 🔥 What's good here is probably supposedly the ambience, but just so happens while we are dining in, there's another group of diners who were quite loud to the point where I can hardly hear the conversation on my table. I can imagine that the ambience will be great if it's abit quieter.

My friend is a vegetarian so we decided to come here for lunch. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived, seats are immediately available. Unfortunately they were doing some painting works while serving lunch. We order the Fried Kuay Teow and Lou Han Zai, the food is average, service is ok. If it’s not for the painting works I would have given 4 stars

Very clean environment with air-conditioning. Lots of food choices in their menu. Ordered their bitter gourd soup and it tasted like as if it’s cooked from home. Very homely. Once you ordered, the dishes were served pretty quickly. A small section of “supermarket” at the entrance of the restaurant which allows you to buy vegetarian snacks, vegetarian sauces and instant noodles. 👍🏼

The food was quite good and the price is reasonable too. The prices here stayed the same as it was pre-covid. We got the Penang Char Kuay Teow, Claypot Fish Maw with Broccoli, BBQ Hot & Sour Fish, Beef Steak, Stir-fried Kai Lan and the soup. Would recommend trying the BBQ Hot & Sour Fish and the boiled soups. The rest of the food was nice. Staff were really friendly and helpful too. Cosy vibes

Ver good taste. Not oily and salty. 3 dishes are good enough for 2 persons. Appetiser Vege Roll is very good. Very lees or almost no honey in the honey lemon tea.

excellent place to have lunch with your family and friends. Atmosphere has a comfortable feel to it as the walks are decorated with small LED bulb and grass like decoration on the wall. All the dishes are tasty due to the wok hey flavour and adequate amount of seasoning. would recommend this place 10/10

Claypot rice was tasteless. Penang Cha Kway tiao looks nothing like the picture (mine was pure kway tiao , literally no egg or ingredient) . Portion of the $9 vegetable is sad, for one person . Lastly they added an extra order into our receipt , lucky we checked. Not sure how an additional order can occur as it was digital self ordering.. there are many other vegetarian out there that taste way better like d’life cafe.

I had my all time favourite value for money bento (‘Monkey head mushroom/Hericium erinaceus/commonly known as lion’s mane mushroom fried with three-cup sauces, and vegetable’) for lunch. The bento came with a delicious pudding and high quality herbal drink. The staff service was excellent and they genuinely remember the customers.

😐 Quite a small place. Service is subpar as usual for this restaurant even for other branches. White bee hoon taste is much better compared to other branch. Tried the Waterway Point branch and it was a disaster. Sambal potato leaves is good but very overprice at $9.80 for a small portion. Mid wing is...

👍👍 The first time buying food here was a great experience. Of course naturally, would come back for a second time and so forth. 😐 I had the opportunity to try their claypot chicken rice and fried mee Hoon recently. Unfortunately, I found the chicken to be quite tough, which was disappointing. Additionally, the mee Hoon, advertised as ‘San Lou mee hoon,’ didn’t even close to the original famous one in JB. Personally found the f...
