Great experience! The food was flavourful and made with a lot of attention and skill. Each dish stood out with a distinct taste and was prettily presented. The service was exceptionally friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The drinks are on the pricey side and the portion size is what you'd expect in a fine dining restaurant. Special call out to the Biryani and the desserts. Overall a memorable experience for a special occasion to celebrate.

Love the history and amount of thought that went into each dish and modernizing it. The Goalondo steamer fowl curry in their special Bengali menu was the star, and so is the ema datshi. Staff members were also accommodating, and were able to explain the dishes.

Yantra is one of the best Indian restaurant serving various delicious cuisines like veg, non veg food and drinks of different Indian states. First time I really enjoyed real authentic Indian veg food (Rajasthani cuisine) with friends here. Yantra is located inside the Tanglin Mall and book this place in advance to reserve table. I will highly recommend this place to taste the real taste of Indian cuisine. 😋

Good food. The naan was great nut the size quite small for naan. The mutton not so good. Oily and tasted weird. The briyani rice and pilai rice were good but overall serving size were on smaller spectrum. Overall ok experience with quite high prices on the food. Great atmosphere and deco.

Went a day after their re-opening and had their experience menu for dinner. We enjoyed the food so much such that we regretted having a late lunch. Food was excellent. Senthil and Siva was also really kind to share with us each dish and how to best enjoy them. Overall, we will be back for more with an empty stomach.

Have been to Yantra since many years, now it is even more beautifully renovated and a very refreshing fine dining place. The staff Senthil & Siva who were serving us were fantastic! They introduced the dishes, and also recommend us how to eat those dishes. Very attentive to details. I think Yantra deserve Michelin next. The food was excellent, revamped menu is definitely must-try. Will keep coming back for more!

Came back to yantra after years and specially after the upgrade. I must say I was really impressed with the food and ambience. The service is good, wish they could be more observant (refilling water etc.). We tried veg and non veg. The subz haldi tikki was ok'ish but everything else was awesome. Will definitely return to give other items a shot!

Amazing food and service! Dishes from all parts of India. And not the usual stuff either! Go in a big group and have everything! It's that good!

Beautifully executed Indian food that keeps to the traditional tastes but with small twists to take them to the next level. The only gripe I have is the inconsistency of the service. We had 3 different staff rotated to serve us at the table - one was excellent, introducing the dishes properly and able to answer questions about them. Another was attentive and fine. But a third one was unable to tell us what were the ingredients in the dish and also failed to relay our orders to the kitchen. At a lower price point, this variance in service would have been fine, but at >$150 per person (and that’s without drinks), this is a little disappointing.

Our favorite Indian place, but my Indian friends say it’s not quite Indian. Big space, generous tables, super clean and delicious food. Try the lamb dishes. The staff will go out of their way to take care of you.

It is expensive but it's worth every penny. Their dishes are unique and innovative and taste amazing. Service is top notch. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Totally recommend Yantra for special occasion!

5 out of 5 stars experience from food, service (Senthil and Monu were super caring & attentive) and ambience. This is newly renovated space which is a major update from it's already preciously beautiful design. Absolutely stunning and comfy with a gorgeous private room that feels like a home. Menu is very neat with only the best of the best options displayed (and anything that you select is confidently one of the better dishes vs where you would have tried). Food is a tastfully marinated and is a thoughtful representation of North Indian flavours with a slight fusion of the way it was presented. Not overly *gelat* on the curries, with ingredients very harmonious and feels like you can eat on without giving up on calories. Must try Chicken Briyani, appetiser bites, naan (truly rhe best with garlic slathered), even the mutton dishes (and I don't usually take mutton). Simply a fantastic experience!

Loved the authentic Indian food, had some dishes after ages including "Dhab Chingri"( prawn in mustard sauce served in a coconut) and Jalebi & Rabri The service is impeccable and the Chef makes it a point to meet each of the guests. Great experience !

** Tasty and well-cooked food in a beautifully decorated restaurant - pricey but worth every penny ** Really enjoyed our meal at Yantra. Great ambience, and awesome food. We had the Kathy Kebabs ($28) slightly smoky served on crispy mini parathas. I particularly liked that the meat was juicy but nor greasy or oily as some kebabs can be. We really enjoyed the Dunghare paneer dish ($38) and while the butter naan ($6) was great, as others have noted it is really small (I’d say half of what you normally get and what it should be). The chicken biryani ($46) was also tasty and cooked to perfection. We ended the meal with an aromatic pot of masala chai ($8.5) and with Saffron Jalebi Rabri ($24) which was also delicious. The total bill with water ($3 for free flowing water per person) came to $247, which I’ll happily spend again for such a delicious meal.

We had the Experience menu which comprised about 12 items ( including a complimentary one that was not in the menu) - not cheap but reasonably priced relative to food quality/ quantity. Good array of food ranging from some more unique dishes eg Alaskan crab, cod fish to familiar Indian items like naan ( best garlic naan ever tasted) and bryani. Attentive service with food items explained at each course. I am normally not that big a fan of Indian cuisine but this won me over . Will go again

I am a huge fans of indian food. I can tell you that, though the food and service were good, I likely will not visit this place again - I can easily find the food with similar standard in the Little India with much lower price and bigger portion. Spent about 114 sgd per pax. Those dishes I posted are shared by 3 ppl. No tap water served.

The chaat was below average. The mutton and prawns were amazing! Some guy kept grabbing our water glasses and filled it with still water while we were having sparkling, that was very irritating, it's a simple task but you guys can't get that right, very sad for 'fine dining'. The lady who served us, Belle, she was good, she took time out to story tell. Loved her effort. The ambiance was really loud! 😅 Low priority on my revisit list.

Senthil & team attended to us wonderfully. The hospitality at Yantra is unparalleled and met by very few Indian restaurants in Singapore. Chef Pinaki even stepped out to speak to our family. Their Palak Anjeer Kofte, a palatable twist on Malai Kofte, are a must-try! Can’t wait to be back :) Just one caveat - the portions are pretty small so keep that in mind when ordering.

We threw my mom a surprise 60th birthday at Yantra today. Absolutely amazing experience. We have been planning it with Senthil and his team for a month now. They have been the most accommodating team ever. Senthil has taken care of us and our event as if it were his own- amazing guy! Food was amazing, every single dish was presented well and a stunner in taste. It’s definitely THE BEST Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. We have been regulars at Yantra for years but the new look of the restaurant is better than it has ever been before- Head Chef Prashant and Chief Chef Pinaki paid great attention to detail to ensure every guest had a wonderful meal. They came out a couple of times even to ensure everything was running smooth. Mixologist Yogesh made a super refreshing off the menu mocktail for us, he was also really nice and very present through the event :) Last minute requests were handled really well too and all with a smile. We loved the entire experience and will be back for more!

Had an outstanding meal here. The taste and quantity of the food was just brilliant and hit the spot for us ..this must be the best indian restaurants in Singapore as have been coming here for the last 20 yrs and it was the 1 st time here and we had a delicious meal . The only feedback is that the quantities of the portions need to be a bit more especially for the price per dish

We went for a team dinner and expected the food to taste like the food /option prior to renovation. Its was such an amazing surprise, they did not renovate the look and feel of the restaurant but also the concept of bringing lost and forgotten recipes of Indian food to us. This is commendable. I was awestruck to the taste the historian recipes that I never got a chance to taste. Thank you Yantra for a nostalgic experience and making our every penny worth. Thanks for great service and patiently explaining every single recipe and the history behind it.

Had lunch ala carte. Most dishes that we ordered were very tasty; best of the lot was Benarasi chaat n aam panna. Service was excellent and all staff were courteous. The only thing that got us disappointed was the butter Naan that was way smaller than an average roti! We expected to get the usual Naan that's cut into 3 portion and usually equivalent to 3 rotis. But what we got was a very small round flat bread almost like a child portion. Bhappa Doi was set Shrikhand instead of regular Steamed bliss. Felt a beat cheated on that front as the cost was same as that of regular naan n bhappa doi.

We were quite lucky to get a seat for walk-ins at Yantra. We’ve dined here, take-away during Covid and they’ve been delivering great service and the food quality gets better and so does the ambient. The Hyderabadi Chicken dum Biryani was a hit. We use to prepare it at home. But this takes a notch up many levels. The mild flavours of mint and coriander brings the fresh garden dew into the dish, the dash of saffron coats every grain of rice in golden yellow. Hyderabadi Patthar Gosht was the visual treat. The unveiling filled the dining room with smoked wood chips. The slow-marinated beef fillets sprinkled with red pepper corns is so pretty but be careful- they pack a punch! We will be back!

Back to Yantra after many years and walked into a beautifully renovated restaurant. We tried their vegetarian experience menu, beef and prawns with mini appam. Food and their service are excellent. Especially Senthil whom we knew before the revamp. He has always been kind, caring and attentive! Yantra serves one of the best Indian food in Singapore. Nice food, service and ambience. 5 out of 5!

Excellent service and food 🥘 💯 was such a memorable experience having my first time here trying an Indian fine dining. Their briyani and lamb was incredibly exceptional (usually not a fan of lamb but I almost ate all of it) Would definitely love to come back again to try their food again 🫶🫶🫶 💯💯💯

A very good Indian fine dining restaurant. They have an 11 course set menu available, as well as a la carte options. We ordered a la carte. Everything was delicious and interesting. The aubergines and the Burmese cheese soup were particularly excellent, in my opinion.

We had gone gone for our Anniversary celebrations after hearing raving reviews . I must the the food is great but the portions are small and it takes time between orders . We ordered only one set of naan for each thinking like any any Indian restaurant it will be big only to realise it was small so by the time the second round came the curry’s were cold . They can easily add condiments like chutney and pickles which are normal with Indian food . I would say it’s a bit pricy but overall was a great experience .

High-quality, professional Indian food that is hard to taste elsewhere. 🤔But is there India time here, too?🤔 The food was served very slowly. Even though we made a reservation for the first time, it's hard to understand. 🥲I wanted to order more food, but I couldn't wait, so I came out quickly

Excellent authentic Indian food and some of the best service I've had in Singapore. The whole staff was attentive and very friendly. As soon as you walk in the luxe interiors and ambiance, smoky smell of the tandoor oven wraps around you and the food doesn't disappoint. Best Galauti kebabs and grilled Lamb i have had in singapore. Would definitely recommend Yantra and come back again...

By far one of the most memorable meals we had in Singapore during our trip! We went back there for the first time in 8 years and found that the whole place was revamped and had become a very high-end fine dining! The lunch buffets were there no more (which was a bummer at first to be honest), but the quality of food was just the way we remembered it. What amazed us was their amazing hospitality. All the staff were tremendously kind and friendly. When we told them that it was our first time back in 8 years and that this was our best meal this trip, they were so happy for us and let is explore some areas of the newly revamped restaurant (such as the new bar which was so beautiful I was in awe!) Bit on the pricier end but if you’re looking to have some eccentric Indian cuisine, we highly recommend it!
